Eris had been following Kaleb since she allowed him to take the lead, however she cloaked herself in her magic, becoming invisible to all around. She didn't need people realizing she was following him, especially if he got to talking to some and revealing useful information. This seemed to be the case as he came across a wingless fairy, something that was discovered later in the conversation. She saw and heard everything Kaleb did and had a few moments where she felt like facepalming and laughing at the humans' ignorance. He was quite good at spinning stories, but he wasn't too keen on picking up small details. Like the fact that they had seen the companions of Bowyn earlier. It was all quite humorous to her.

She knew she would need to make an appearance soon so Kaleb didn't think she'd abandoned him. She still needed this little puppet. A newcomer joined the group, the one called Rue and her wolf, Mooney, but where was the dwarf? Perhaps it was pure luck that the dwarf wasn't with her, otherwise the little ruse Kaleb was playing might have come to an end, though Eris was curious how he would have handled the situation. Likely played off being offended that the dwarf didn't "recognize" him.

Commotion caught her attention right as she was planning on strolling up to the group and she decided to hold off a moment longer. She even moved over quickly just to see what was happening and was quite pleased she did. There, in the middle of it all, was Princess Annya. She'd made sure she knew what the woman and her family had looked like long ago and recognized her in an instant. With her were a small group which Eris could only assume some of them to be humans wearing disguise rings, something she was well acquainted with as her mother was among the first to create some. If Eris were to guess by the reaction to the situation, the two females were human. So when one of them decided to storm off, Eris had no qualms sending some magic her way to help her blend into the crowd and make it much more difficult for the little princess to follow. She also noted the dwarf that had approached Annya, knowing just who he was.

Satisfied with the small bit of meddling, Eris swiped two pieces of honey toast from a stall before dropping the invisibility on herself and making her way back to Kaleb, Bowyn, and Rue. She placed an excited and cheery smile on her face as she took on one of her many personas. "Oh Kaleb, I'm so glad I finally found you! I found that sweet treat I wanted and I grabbed one for you too!" She linked her arm in his and held out the toast for him. "It was quite the adventure too, there was quite the commotion at one of the stalls. A red haired elven girl seemed to have attacked the owner of the stall, perhaps not agreeing with prices though to go to that extreme is a little scary, and it seemed another elven woman was in agreement as she held a club in her hands. Then the demi-human girl with them, such a cute little thing, seemed quite upset with the whole situation. Started yelling at them about being sick and tired of their violence before storming off. Poor dear, I do hope she hadn't been a victim of their violence as well." She looked between everyone in the group as she spun her tale with great animation. "Then this dwarf approached one of the elven women, but couldn't do much other than stare at her! He seemed quite enamored with her, I would have sworn I watched his eyes wander to certain parts of her body. It was really quite the scene, though it seems that authorities may be showing up soon to sort it all out." She said the last bit with almost a sign of relief as her eyes fell on Bowyn and Rue once more.

"Oh how rude of me for not making proper introductions! I'm Eris, I do hope you both can forgive impudence. Sometimes I get overly excited and forget my manners." She gave them a sheepish grin and an embarrassed laugh.

Raven had glanced over the outfits when they had gotten to the shop and had considered for a moment asking for the second one, but then decided against it. She wasn’t entirely interested in the outfits at all. Or perhaps she just wasn’t in the right mindset for shopping for clothing. Besides it seemed like the man at the stall was going to be a bit of a pain. She just focused on ignoring him, having quite a bit of practice at doing so, but it seemed her companions weren’t about to. Raven knew sometimes it was good to speak up and then other times it was better to just ignore them. The drunk man was hard to read so Raven chose to ignore.

Shae decided on an outfit and Raven just stood there staring at people walking by. For a brief moment she could have sworn she saw Kaleb Carter, a famous actor she actually enjoyed and had once gotten an autograph from. He’d stepped out of the spotlight for awhile due to “personal reasons”. She remembered hearing something about a family member of his dying. Her heart had broken a bit for him when she’d heard that rumor. Her brows furrowed in confusion, supposing it could be possible. She watched the direction he’d gone, making note of it to potentially investigate further, when her attention was caught by Kharne and Ismael heading towards them. She didn’t look at them for long, however, as a scene began unfolding between her companions and the shopkeep.

It seemed that the shopkeep had offended Annya once again and she proceeded to roast him severely. While the roast was phenomenal, Raven wished she would have just let it go and left. The worst seemed to happen as the man broke his liquor bottle, grabbed a club, and seemed to be heading for them. Anger rose in Raven, but she pushed it aside as she decided to try and find words to calm the situation. Before she could, however, Saoirse began approaching the man. Raven watched in horror as more violence ensued. Shae threatened the man and then Ismael spoke up, but Raven barely heard him as she finally snapped. ”Saoirse STOP IT!” She screamed at the girl, fury clear on her face as she completely forgot Shae hadn’t wanted her name actually said.

”I am sick and tired of all the violence today! All you had to do was disarm him, you didn’t have to go this far and threaten him! It’s no better than him!” She then whirled on Annya. ”And you!” She pointed at the princess, briefly noting a dwarf approaching her. ”Why antagonize him? He’s obviously a drunken idiot, it’s better to ignore him! Better yet, we go find a different shop and not give him our business if his comments bothered you that much!” She then closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she heard the dwarf ask his question of Annya. She decided to take this as an opportunity to clear her head.

”Congratulations dude, you found her.” She said to the dwarf before glancing at her other companions. ”Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go take a walk and clear my head. Maybe find some alcohol and try to forget this entire fucking day. I can find my way back to the inn.” She said as she pushed passed Annya. Her hands were clenched into fists and trembling as she walked past Kharne, glancing at him briefly as if to say hi and then bye. She needed time to herself otherwise she was going to end up resenting all of her companions.

Raven hadn’t barely spoken a word after the incident with the trolls. After the adrenaline had left her, the shock of it all began to set in. The fear and terror of things had left her fairly quickly, this place was, after all, exactly where she’d often wished she could escape to. A fantasy world away from her real life where she could go on adventures, have magic, and no one would really know of her past or who she was. Of course she had Shae, but even she didn’t know much about her after high school. What Raven wasn’t expecting was how difficult a battle actually was and not even physically. In D&D it was easy to kill creatures you came across while playing. They didn’t have a real face, didn’t actually breathe air, and didn’t possess an actual soul. This was real, though, and those trolls did have faces, breathed air, and they had some form of soul.

She’d stared at the impaled troll for a long while after everything ended, not hearing anything anyone said as she’d begun to feel ill. She’d killed it, she’d taken a life and it was making her sick. Of course if she hadn’t done anything to help then who's to say what would have happened. Kharne may have been able to eventually win, but there was the chance of the troll killing him. Of the other troll killing Annya and then both trolls killing her, Shae, and Ismael. Better to kill the one then risk being killed along with the rest of your party. That didn’t change the fact, however, that Raven normally avoided killing anything. She even refused to kill a spider even though she’s deathly afraid of them. Who would this world change her into?

They’d made it to River Port and Raven would have marveled at the cute little port, but she was still lost in her thoughts. She was able to answer any questions asked of her, but the answers were rather simple and she’d fall quiet right after. Dusk came around and Annya seemed to decide it was time to get out of the inn and go shopping. She would take Raven and Shae and Kharene would take Ismael. Raven didn’t protest at all and simply followed Annya out when she took her hand.

Annya seemed to be in a bubbly mood and Raven wished she could join in. She tried to put a happier expression on her face, but she kept having random intrusive thoughts enter her mind. She hadn’t even noticed the three Shae pointed out as the random thought of how she’d almost become a scene from Attack on Titan entered her mind. Annya had asked what they wanted to do and Saoirse suggested maybe going clothing shopping. That definitely was right up Raven’s alley, but she needed to be in a better mood for that. ”Alcohol.” She said and then quickly realized a one word response wasn’t entirely proper. ”Sorry, I mean I could really use a drink right now. It was a difficult day and alcohol always seems to help put me in a better mood.” She tried to force a smile on her face as she looked to Annya and Shae.

Lizzie was grateful to Helio and Barboda for giving her a rundown of the world and helping her decide on a heading. She knew she’d eventually have to be honest with the rest of the crew on who she was, but not quite yet. She needed to be extra sure none of them were going to sell her out. The one she worried about the most was Tesoro, with him being a previous captain and having lost that position she wouldn’t put it past him to try to acquire it once again. She’d spent years already under the thumb of a captain, it was her turn to have a crack at it. She wasn’t about to give it up easily.

After they had emerged from the captain’s quarters, Éliane decided to take her leave. She’d held up her end of the bargain and found Lizzie a ship and crew. Lizzie was grateful to the woman, though she wasn’t about to force anyone to stay aboard the ship. In fact, before leaving port she’d asked if any others wished to leave as well. Soon enough they were headed out to sea. She’d also acquired a new hat that had been in the captain’s quarters. It wasn’t exactly what she wanted and would look into getting a new one to suit her tastes, but it was decent enough.

Lizzie didn’t just stand aside and bark orders at everyone, no she engaged in getting the ship going. She helped those that seemed to be lacking in knowledge of a ship and she was very involved. Soon enough people seemed to be getting the hang of things. Nym also seemed to be quite the hard worker, helping others as well. Now, as dusk fell upon them, Lizzie stood at the helm to make sure they kept course. Barbuda approached and informed her that the cannons were loaded and ready to go in case anything were to happen. ”Thank you Barboda, that will be very helpful. Hopefully we won’t come across said terrible beasty. Before we get too far into dangerous waters, though, I say we have ourselves a little celebration.” She gave him a wide grin before looking over the deck of the ship.

”Gather ‘round mates! I want to thank each of you for getting this vessel in shipshape. You all worked hard today and I’m very impressed with each of you. In honor of your hard work today I say we splice the mainbrace. What say ye, are ya up for some fun tonight?” She addressed everyone, ready to have someone retrieve some of the alcohol and pass it around.

Raven watched in horror as everything seemed to fall apart. Annya was being smashed around like Hulk smashes Loki in the first Avengers movie. Kharne was being held down and pummeled by the other troll. Panic was rising once more in the white haired girl as she felt a growing urge to do something. She wasn't the only one with that idea, however, as Shae seemed to climb the trees and throw flaming knives at the troll attacking Annya before calling out to Raven and Ismael to help. Ismael quickly followed, also attacking the one on Annya.

Raven's eyes locked onto the one attacking the Dragonborn. Come on powers, you worked once, let's do this again. She took a deep breath as anger rose in her. "Hey asshole! Get off of him!" She yelled at the troll as she flung her hands out. To her surprise, a strong gust of wind shot out. The troll was lifted off of Kharne and then flung straight back into a tree branch, impaling the troll.

Lizzie almost facepalmed when Barboda contradicted her lie. She even gave him a look that seemed to portray her irritation, but then moved on. "We'll be leaving shortly, I think we'll be okay for a few more minutes at least." She said as she entered the captain's quarters. At first sight of her quarters she was quite pleased. It wasn't a terribly big place, but it was decent sized. In the center of the room was a desk with a nice wooden chair with red cushioning on it. On the desk was various papers, a Captain's log, and a map. To the right of the room was a double bed with matching red bedding. To the left was a wardrobe and on the corner seemed to be a changing screen.

Lizzie was smiling now and nodding in approval for a moment before turning to look at Barboda and Helio. "We need a heading. As Barboda so kindly pointed out earlier, I was summoned to this world and so thus I don't know its waters. Where are the best trade routes? Where should we make port next? I need the two of you to assist me in figuring these things out. Once that is done and we have our heading, we can leave." She explained to them and then moved towards the changing screen to finally change her clothes.

Mika could hear Yuka applauding her, but her attention was pulled away by Siv as he pulled her hood back up. He then led her away from the others and began scolding her. She would have been lying if she said she didn't expect it. She was also positive Kuroi would scold her too. She let him speak his peace, knowing everything he said was valid. To her, though, it wasn't such a simple decision. "I shall let it go from here for sure, but it's a tough position I'm in. If I didn't speak up and allowed them to think I had no care for them then it likely would be harder in the future when I'm to become queen. They need to know that they'll have a leader that cares for them." She explained to him, hoping he'd understand her position.

She then noticed Slick leaving and she found herself quickly trying to get his attention. "We need to try and keep the human with us for his own protection." She told Siv and then remembered she had some water in her bag. She quickly grabbed it, having a feeling Slick might need it with the trip he likely was on thanks to being drugged. "Come on." She said as she pulled Siv along towards Slick.

"Hey wait, I know this is a lot and I apologize, but it'll be safest with us. Here you should drink some water." She said, handing him the water. They needed to get moving quickly and she needed to contact Rosaria.

What a strange thing to ponder. Lizzie thought as she studied Helio for a moment. She was willing to bet that this wasn’t the actual reason he was still up here, but she’d play along with him. If he didn’t want to divulge what was really on his mind then she wasn’t about to push that at this moment. When it came down to it Lizzie really didn’t care all that much, she was just making conversation. ”That’s quite the intriguing question. I suppose it would depend on whether or not the person was born blind or went blind later in life.” She said with a shrug as she glanced over to Barboda.

The words the man spoke weren’t at all surprising to her, death and murder were dear friends to Lizzie at this point, but it did seem his words were a bit of a surprise to Helio. She briefly noted the dumbfounded look on the fairy’s face, knowing that her next words needed to be chosen carefully if she didn’t want to completely shock the red haired man. She decided to reassure Helio first before answering Barboda. ”I know it sounds extreme because it is a bit extreme but, if it helps any, know that the crew of this ship weren’t good people. They were involved in some minor slave trade. They already had one man in a cage below deck and they attempted to capture me as well, likely to be bound to the same fate.” The lie rolled off her tongue with such conviction and ease, she only hoped that Helio would be against slave trade. Lizzie may be a terrible person, but she still had some morals and she believed deep in her soul that people weren’t cargo. They deserved to be free, no matter what.

She then looked back to Barboda once more to finally answer him. ”I understand your concern, however if you killed the whole crew then who’s coming for the ship any time soon?” She gave him a small grin, but then laughed a little. ”Besides I dare them to interrupt me while I’m eating.” Her attention was soon caught by shouting below deck as well as Nym coming up and preparing the ship to leave. Yes, she definitely liked that man. The voice of the shouting, however, she was beginning to wonder if he was too much of a loose cannon. If he tried anything, though, she could have him tied up to the main and strip the flesh from his back. If that didn’t work then he may end up dancing the hempen jig. She let out a sigh and shook her head, deciding to let whatever was happening below deck happen for now. In the meantime, she actually needed to see if the captain’s quarters had a map so she could familiarize herself with it. She also knew she’d need to confide in someone about not knowing anything about this world, but who would be the best choice for that? Éliane would likely be the one most likely to keep it a secret, but the woman was below deck and Lizzie didn’t feel like going down there. Nym was shaping up to be her first mate, but he was busy doing as she’d asked. Helio and Barboda also seemed to already be full of secrets, perhaps they could keep one more?

”I have a task for the two of you, care to follow me to my quarters?” Before either of them could answer, however, she was walking towards the captain’s quarters. She also needed to change into her new outfit.

Have I finally met my match? Lizzie briefly wondered, a giddiness running through her. She definitely felt challenged now, but it was a challenge she would happily accept. Could she break him? She supposed only time would tell. Either way, if he truly was what he said he was she wouldn’t deny that he could be a valuable asset on the ship. She knew that very soon she’d see what all these people were capable of.

She briefly glanced over at Barboda, wondering how the man would respond to Tesoro’s taunting. Did the armored man have a temper? Lizzie was willing to bet that he was more likely one to let something go, but make you pay when you were most vulnerable. Either way, Lizzie’s eyes were currently trained on Barboda when Tesoro exited the cell. Her eyes snapped to the large man, however, as he called her ‘lassie’. Anger flashed in her eyes briefly, but she was silenced briefly as Tesoro kissed her cheek. She hadn’t entirely expected that and now she found herself watching him as he went up the steps. She shook her head briefly as she spoke, ”I can’t decide if I wanna fuck him or murder him?” She sighed and then glanced over to Barboda. ”Shall we go back up and eat some of your delicious meal?” With that she headed up the stairs.

She was greeted by the sight of Tigerlily putting on her new clothes. Lizzie found herself smirking a bit at the woman, wondering why she’d chosen now to change and doing so in front of everyone. Lizzie wasn’t subtle in the slightest as she looked the woman over, noting the scales on the woman for the first time. How curious. She then looked to the others. ”Everyone meet Tesoro. Tesoro meet the crew. We’re all one big happy family now. Welcome aboard the Harem.” She said as she moved over to the food, grabbing a few items and placing them on a plate before walking away from the table. ”We weigh anchor in twenty minutes. Nym, have this lot on deck by then. If you need me, I’ll be in my quarters.” She said, delegating a task to Nym to see if she could trust him to follow through with something simple. She then walked up the steps.

She was about to head towards the captain’s quarters, but her eye was caught by red hair. She looked to Helio and cocked her head to the side curiously. Why wasn’t he down eating with the others? She found herself heading in his direction instead of towards her quarters. ”Not hungry, dear prince?” She asked him with a coy smile, leaning against the ship's railing as she took a bite of some food.

Lizzie listened to him speak, noting every single move he made. She crossed her arms over her chest, unintentionally...or perhaps intentionally, highlighting certain aspects of her upper body. This man was definitely one to be wary of and not to be underestimated. He seemed cunning, reminding her a lot of herself. Then there was the fact that he just snapped his bindings rather easily. That was certainly something that she could easily ignore, though she refused to show any outward reaction to it.

After a moment of silence, Lizzie busted out laughing as she looked over to Barboda. "Blimey! Barboda I think I like this on!" She said, recovering from her laughter as she placed a hand on the bounty hunters shoulder for a moment. She let out a few more chuckles before dropping her hand and looking at Tesoro once more.

"To say I don't like what I see would be a lie, but I must make you aware of something." She slowly began moving closer to him, hyper aware of any movements he might try to make. If he tried to grab her she had a few tricks up her sleeve. "You are not the first man I've come across of your…" She paused to look him up and down for a moment before continuing. "Stature, but I'll have you know that every single one of them I've brought to their knees." She gave him an alluring smile. "And I've made every single one of them beg, savvy?" She allowed a moment to pass, letting her words sink in as she watched for a reaction. Little did she know that behind her the water from the ground had begun to rise up and swirl around in a strange dance.

Suddenly the water dropped, still without her knowledge, and her expression changed to a carefree one. "If that's understood, you're willing to follow the laws of my ship, and you lose all thoughts of mutiny then you may stay aboard my ship. We need more able-bodied men like you. Either way you have your freedom." She glanced over briefly to Barboda.

"You can free him now, Barboda. If he tries anything stupid you may kill him." She said to the man, far too much joy in her voice.

The burst of wind had truly surprised Raven and it seemed like she wasn’t the only one. It had thrown the troll off for long enough for Annya to strike. Next thing she knew she was flying through the air before impacting something or someone, as it seemed. The breath was knocked out of her for a moment as she glanced at Annya, trying to pull herself off of the woman. She proceeded to watch as the elven woman called her axe back to her with what had to be magic. She stared in mild awe before realizing she should probably back up.

Before she could move she felt someone dragging her backwards. For a brief second she thought it was another troll and yelled out, wiggling in panic. She then felt...heat? Man it kind of burned. ”Ow! Let go! Let go!” She yelled as she looked up to see Saoirse. The girl let her go and Raven was quickly patting at the back of her arms, convinced her clothing was on fire now. When she was satisfied it wasn’t, she glanced back at Shae, but actually staring at the sparks around her wrists. It took her a second to register that the girl had asked her a question. ”Uh yeah, I’m alright I think.” She said as she pulled herself off of the ground.

Shae then asked if she could climb and Raven now looked at Shae’s face in confusion. She was about to tell her she didn’t like the idea of it when Ismael seemed to interject, having the same thoughts as Raven. ”Yeah I agree, I’d rather be a moving target than a stationary one in a tree. Besides I’m pretty sure those things are using trees as clubs. I wouldn’t like to be on the swinging end of their next weapon.” She agreed, briefly glancing over at the battle and wondering if the two trolls would be distracted for long enough to try and stealth. She then briefly wondered what her stealth modifier would be and what these trolls' passive perception was. ”For now I think I’m just gonna retreat into the shadows a bit, keep my wits about me, and let those that know how to handle these things do so. If I tried to help or anything I’d just be in the way and put others at risk.” She said as she began to move, deciding to try and pull Saoirse with her.

She then leaned in to speak to the woman quietly. ”Uh, have you taken a look at your wrists lately?” She asked, wondering if the girl had noticed the sparks too. By the looks of it, Raven would guess that Saoirse had fire and it scared her a little. That could be a very deadly power and she could kill them all quickly if she lost control. Or she could set the entire jungle on fire. That wouldn’t be a good thing at all.
