So I realized that the highest honor anyone can get is not to get a Nobel Peace prize, nor getting your name taught throughout history. It's being made into an Anime Character with giant boobs.

So where do I go after Elysium? I just made it through after beating a Chad-dude and his giant burly friend with horns at a break dancing contest.

Bio

About me:
I am an amateur writer at best as I have had a bit of experience writing short novels and stories as a side gig (Don't ask me for help unless you are desperate. I barely know what I'm doing half the time!)

I mostly Rp on medieval fantasy, modern fantasy, and modern slice of life. However, I am always willing to do anything. And I have been roleplaying for about 8 years now.

I have a pretty open schedule right now, other than planning DnDs, and looking for a job. (Still praying that one day I can get payed to play DnD or by playing videogames, but I haven't made a dollar yet).

PLEASE IF YOU THINK I FORGOT AN RP MESSAGE ME!!!! I CAN GUARANTEE THAT I FORGOT AS I WAS PROBABLY PRAYING TO THE GODS OF CHAOS THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO WIN THE NEXT GAME OF MAGIC I'M GOING TO PLAY!!! (In all seriousness I'm very forgetful and scatter brained, just send me a message and I should be able to pump out that post in no time)

The partners I am looking for right now is people who are chill and relax as well as just some genuinely nice people to chat to and play with. Any style is fine, just be ready as there are time where it will take some time for advanced posts will take me a few days.

Other than that I like to listen to music and anytime someone asks me to do a thing, 90% of the time I will just do it as I just don't care enough. But I will not sing, my voice is garbage and I am not confident enough to even try to learn now.

Ismael had made his way over to the beach that once had a column of razer wind. As once he got there he saw the column had slowly disappeared and Annya was holding both Shae and Raven. The event had ended, it seems Raven had been the perpetrator of the tornado appearing. Ismael had some assumptions about what could have caused Raven to go into an emotionally unstable state. But this was not the time, the main event ended, which meant the fallout was about to begin.

It seemed Annya knew this as well, as she saw him and Kharne were there and asked them to accompany them. Ismael let out a sigh as he then said, "Yeah, that would be for the best". As Ismael made his way closer he began to notice both Raven and Shae were disappearing. At first, Ismael was worried, but he started figuring out what was happening, Annya was using her light magic to bend the light and make them hidden. Ismael let out another sigh of relief as he then says, "Alright you two, we'll need to start heading off. Make sure to stay close behind me and Kharne, leave next to no room as we go okay?". Ismael waited for a response to occur before they started moving, he had no clue where they'd be if they didn't stay in close contact, but they couldn't hold hands or a rope because then it'd be obvious.

Upon Onarr's voice coming out, Desmond's blood ran cold. Desmond was not ready for someone to speak, so to hear any noise immediately sent him on red alert. At that moment he was about to curse, but he noticed that at that moment their surroundings changed. The once draft and damp stairwell had changed now to a large and dry study. Yet study wasn't an apt description, a much better one would be a cathedral to knowledge. This place had large books shelves that stood taller than most buildings would ever reach, a large table akin to a king's dining table fit for himself and the hundreds of his nobles, many different stations filled with magical and scientific apparatuses, and translucent art made for the windows. Everything here was marvelous as Desmond knew whoever owned this place would have to be absolutely rich.

Desmond forgot for a moment to yell at Onarr, as everything here surprised Desmond, as he took everything in. Yet his eyes landed upon the probable owner of this study. He was an elderly man who stood there and…Desmond had no clue who the man was. Honestly, Desmond knew jack squat about most things related to the culture of magic, Desmond just assumed he was some Mage who had some major control over some very powerful magic. Not only was he able to control hundreds of birds, but also he was able to seamlessly make sure none of them were able to sense or notice each other, and then finally transport all these people here at once.

Even when others brought up his name, Desmond had Zero clue on who the guy was, he thinks he heard his name before, but he isn't really clicking anything. Desmond was quite curious about something, so raised his hand like he was normally told to do in class and then immediately spoke after, "Uh, sorry sir, I'm not very familiar with you, so sorry if I butcher your name. Paradigm Hung'horas, I was wondering if you were the one in the crow?"

Desmond honestly thought his first name was kind of weird. Who names their child Paradigm anyways?
So I made some new bullet ideas. Now taking in the idea of "Kill things Deader" is not the best method, I had made a good portion of these having a non-lethal/less-than-lethal effects, different effects, and making them for them to not just be bullets that "Kill things Deader".

I also added how they are made and how the spell is used. I would like to hear some feedback on the ideas I put here.

This will also now include all my old Bullet designs.

You call it laziness, I call it self care

Character Appearance

This man who stands at the apex of magic, a giant within the advancements of the fusion of magic and technology, and a demon on the battlefields stands at an astounding 5 foot 3. Yet do not let his stature and his youthful look fool you, he is a man who has fought men easily double his own size in hand-to-hand combat and take on mages far beyond his years. His body is may look soft, but it harbors the skills of a trained warrior.

His stature is very telling to his looks, he has a very youthful appearance, with a soft face and large beautiful blue eyes that look like giant sapphires. Many often mistake him for a younger boy and often think of him being a student on the grounds of Ersand'Enise. Yet they normally get a rude awakening when they realize the Demon of Ternis looked like a boy and not like the 30-ish-year-old man they expected.

Description

Liam Leone is known within the world as a true prodigy and is considered a once-in-a-lifetime Mage. Master of the 5 Pillars of magic, the Golden Child, the Demon of Ternis, and the Mage of Prophecy, he was born with unapparelled power with the Gift. Yet among his long list of achievements, sublime talents, and unapparelled mind that has made his small nation advanced decades, he's a lazy teacher.

Liam was never one to like being in the spotlight, he never wished to have been in such a situation, all he's ever wanted to do is lead a life where he could do what he pleased. Mastering magic, creating new discoveries, and doing leisurely activities like making music, poems, and writing. Yet in his small nation that is found in the smack dab center of conflicts, his royal obligation was to make sure his home would not come to ruins. Being the third child of the Leone Royal family gave him the royal obligation of possibly being fodder for war, yet something truly strange occurred, when his eyes opened the lights almost began to dim. As his brilliant blue eyes seemed to almost outshine everything in the bright room. As Prophecies were told that he would be the savior of Ternis, that he was the child who would give them peace.

In his younger years, he learned everything he could, he had an insatiable appetite for knowledge, he understood concepts beyond his years, and from a single glance, he was able to pick up on skills. He sought out new things, skills, and objects of interest, as once he was told/understood the idea of the Gift, he began practicing magic. Within years, he understood what took many decades if not a lifetime to understand and do. At the age of 14, he was already sparring, training against, and defeating fully grown men, knights, and mages. His teachers saw something akin to a demon, ever-learning, changing, and adapting. Yet soon enough his teacher was not just skilled mentors, but skilled killers in war. As the Crimson war began, a war was waged between Ternis and surrounding kingdoms. They wished to have squashed Ternis, whom at the time was quickly becoming a serious kingdom that could properly stabilize, rather than being just a buffer against some of the other nations nearby.

Ternis is a land rich in many resources, minerals, ores, and many other resources a lucky nation could find useful. So wars are normally an often occurrence, yet Ternis has often gotten out of them through diplomatic negotiations, quick skirmishes that Ternis wins through clever tactics and understanding of the land, and wars of attrition that made the conquest less than favorable. Yet at Liam's 16th year of age, it seemed like those around Ternis wanted them gone. As an all-out war was held, Liam was the first to take the mantle. As the next 2 years were a testament to his true skills and talents, as he single-handedly changed the Winds of Fate. His kingdom should have been squashed underneath the weight of an army much larger than itself, yet his skills in and out of combat made it where the fate of his little country was changed.

As the next 3 years had made the name of the Child of Prophecy or the Demon of Ternis, Liam had used every trick his mind could have ever made. Unconventional warfare, underhanded tactics, and overwhelming power. What Ternis couldn't make up in numbers, Liam made up in power. As he had coined the idea of using magic and technology together, Ternis had begun arming their soldiers with weapons and items that had preloaded and sealed spells. Giving their soldiers a higher quality over their enemies, yet this wasn't as simple as loading a sword with a spell that would consume itself. This was making interchangeable gemstones, fixtures, and adornments that would be loaded with spells essential to increasing the potency of their army. Yet these items had an interesting property, they could be used more than once, as when the spell is used, the item is not consumed. The item just needed to be filled with enough energy before the spell could be used again, yet there is a problem.

Most people are unable to draw naturally and most have such abysmal RAS scores that it would not matter, but that does not matter here. Liam formed an original spell: Magic Siphon, this allowed for a more passive drawing method through 3 different methods. The first is heat energy like that from fire, under the hot sun, or bundled up next to or underneath someone. The next is kinetic energy as that of the item being in motion, gets jostled about, and or when collides with another object. Then the final is that of static/electric energy, this can come from stray electricity that is in the air, when in a lightning storm and electricity is in the air and making your hair stand on end, or when 2 pieces of wool are rubbed together and have a static charge. Now with this, all the user needed to do is make sure they are able to keep their weapon charged through one of these methods: Letting it be near or in a fire for a while, fighting for a little bit before the weapon can use it's spell again, or be neat a magnetic mage for long enough. But what is a battlefield but a mess of fighting with fire and heat flying, people using their weapons and moving around a lot, and stray electricity filling the atmosphere. This invention had made the quality of their army increase greatly, with it nearly making every soldier on the battlefield a pseudo-mage.

Liam headed this project and even began developing weapons in secret while he was not heading combat. As he had created what he called, Demonsbane, a cannon that could be filled with energy from multiple different people to create the same results one Prodigy mage could produce. Yet Demonsbane was not named because it could just do that, he named it that because he wanted it to be able to take the power of an atomic mage and be able to quickly produce the spell Cataclysm or Godsbane, that could be fire then using the skills of the atomic mage to concentrate the energy into the proper spell while using the mass-energy of multiple mages, or even a small army of mages. When this cannon was first unveiled, it was first targeted by Magusjeagers in hopes to defeat it quickly, yet everyone understood this, so it was well protected, and when it was fired once almost gave up on the spot realizing that Ternis had pulled out a weapon able to wipe out armies and cities within a short time.

It took a few more uses and overwhelming defeats for this war to end. Led to the name of Liam Leone to fill the area, painting as some kind of war god, a devil who creates miracles, and a Child of Legends who could shape the new age the world never could imagine, at the ripe old age of 19.

After this Liam dedicated himself to furthering his own Kingdom, ushering in a new age, using magic to help the very lives of everyone in Ternis. May it come from the lowliest of farmers to the most prestigious of Nobles, Liam's magical items filled everyday lives. Many have asked why doesn't every country have something akin to this? Well, the answer is easy, Liam is the sole reason this can happen. Liam is the genius who invented and created the process, he even sells it to other nations, and often they tried to reverse engineer the items and processes, but it would be the same thing as trying to reverse engineer a smithed sword. You can see the craftsmanship, the edge, and even figure out what material, but you will never understand the inner workings without knowing the smelts, the forging, and the quenching.

Soon enough he became a prominent figure in making his own Kingdom strong against outside aggression, his older brother, the ruler of their kingdom, and himself began a long campaign to forge alliances with other nations, diplomatic dealings, neutrality pacts, and alliances. As once Liam had reached the age of 22, his Kingdom was safe and prospering he now wished to find something new. The boring life he now has does not feed his wishes to learn and innovate, as he was offered a position as a teacher in Ersand'Enise, which came with a measly pay in comparison to what he was used to, but what they didn't give in money, they gave in knowledge. Liam began his work at Ersand'Enise, as he began his many research discoveries, and soon enough forgot he was even a teacher. Many times he had been pulled out of his lab to teach the new students of Ersand'Enise, yet found no motivation in it. After 2 years in Ersand'Enise, he even began to lose his spark. Nothing seems to have that same joy it once had, nothing here ever pushed the fold, no one pushed the envelope, the knowledge here was also so restricted that what he had access to was easily consumed within a year(Most would take decades even if they could consume it within a lifetime).

Now Liam lives his life as a teacher in Ersand'Enise, there is nothing that interests him. His teaching methods are, unconventional, to say the least. He has many rules: a dress code that few know about, more often than not it is based upon the weather. Such as shorts and shirt day when it is hot, on nice days fancy dress days, and if he really isn't feeling it that day, it's robes day(which is just his blanket, but nobody questions it). Some of his other rules are: Don't bother me after class if you want extra credit bring me food if you are to bother me after calls bring a bottle of wine and if you comment about my height prepare to be shorter than me for the week. His teaching in the classes is quite unique, often it can be some of the most insightful lessons you could find, with the intelligence of a genius, and the understanding of a sage he can explain a concept 100 times in 100 different ways. However other days he likes to call: Reflection of the inner self and the mana within you, better known as self-study days. These days he mostly lies about and everyone is expected to talk to each other and learn from each other, or what he does the day for people just to relax. And on a few of his off days he does whatever he chooses, may it be Binding, Arcane, Chemical, or even Magnetic. These days no matter what the planned idea was, he will teach those in his care the ever so fun lessons on how to be more flexible. Learning many different skills, and sometimes he will even teach martial arts for self-defense, how to make things with magic, and if he is really feeling spicy, he will teach whatever his class wishes to learn that day. If they want to learn Blood Magic, they will learn Blood Magic for a whole 5 minutes before he realizes he could lose his job if he was to teach it. Yet anything else is fine.

After Kaleb seemed to have taken to Ismael's introduction he seemed to have asked for everyone else's introductions. As it seemed Kaleb wanted to know more about Kharne, so he asked him to start what would have been a supposed train of introductions. As Kharne gave his introduction as before, Ismael realized he had not really given much about himself, again, at this point he thinks no one will know much else about him. Ismael almost laughed at this, but something completely took him away from it, another announcement.

Ismael had watched it, as he and everyone witnessed the horrific quartering of a person. Ismael had no clue why that happened, why would they do that to someone, and how did they procure a Human? Ismael had thoughts about why and why not they were only able to summon so many people. So to see one taken and then quartered, that meant one of their strongest Light elves was taken and killed. Now they knew what humans looked like, so that meant it would be much harder to hide without this magic, and they would probably know it.

Ismael was disgusted, but he didn't lose a single bit of his nerves. To do that would mean they would fall into their trap, Ismael knew that but it seemed a few didn't know that, or they did but were unable to control themselves. As everyone began noticing the intense winds that were being created. And almost on cue, Kharne yelled for everyone to get up and out. Ismael knew what was happening, Raven seemed to have lost all control, and they needed to try and stop her. She was not only a danger to herself but now to those around her and this entire city. If this persists, the Sins will be on this city in no time, and this city will most likely burn in their crusade to find the rest of the humans and the Light Elves who scattered.

Ismael leaped out of the water as he began putting on his clothing and his boots. Within a minute Ismael had already put on his clothing and boots, with the same efficiency seen by a seasoned soldier, yet he was not going to don his armor, it would take too long with the time sensitivity of the situation. As Ismael grabbed his longsword and grabbed his armor by the many leather straps within that hold it all together, he left the bathhouse and made his way to the scene, the area that was in the center of a tornado was a good start.
So I made some new bullet ideas. I put my original Inferno Bullets and Quicksilver Bullets in here, then I also made a few more using different spells to create and form them.

I also added how they are made and how the spell is used. I would like to hear some feedback on the ideas I put here.

Desmond fought and noticed the battlefield change. As magics were thrown he dedicated some of his time to stoke the flames of other people's magic to burn the trees away allowing for clear shots. As Desmond shifted on his horse, he fired a shot quickly that knocked one of the assassins out of the tree. Desmond immediately switched his attention to his other side where he saw another assassin in the trees, there he pulled his smaller firearm and took aim as he fired another shot, burying a bullet into the sternum of the assassin before they fell. Desmond's eyes were constantly moving and shifting from target to target as electricity coated his guns and multiple bullets that seem to be floating around him. As after each gun fired, a piece of ammunition began floating up to the barrel of the gun and sliding down the barrel, and seating itself into the gun. Allowing Desmond to always be able to fire his guns in a more consistent stream, as the roar of his guns disappeared once this horrid feeling befell Desmond.

This feeling felt like death loomed over him like a hanging guillotine, it was a feeling he felt a few times. Most of the time it was from when a mage took notice of him and tried to kill him, or when he was in the sights of a Magusjeager. As intense winds seem to blow and snuff out the intense fires they created and even blew the mountain of a man Eskand calls a King off his feet and away. Desmond began looking around as someone appeared near and seemed to try and talk to him. She began talking about how they moved it seemed like they were moving in a strange way like they knew how to do so without ever even communicating. They needed to find this person and take them out while King Horik was in his own duel. Desmond agreed with Marlijn, he noticed it as once they started moving he noticed multiple mages move in unison. He looked to Marlijn and said, "You're right, we need to find this person…".

Yet still, Desmond still had this incredibly horrid feeling in the back of his neck. Like something was coming, as when he watched the quick bout that occurred between King Horik and this new Mage it reached an unbearable level of uncomfortability. He already began drawing in energy as he could and manipulating it to formulate kinetic energy, forming it again to a more concentrated form to manipulate the energy to form something akin to a coating around his body of kinetic energy. When Desmond noticed the build-up of mana, a yell occurred from Marijn, and Desmond immediately started moving. Yet as he ran, he noticed multiple people on the ground in shock or unconscious, and almost as his body moved on its own, he jumped off of his horse as it continued to run forward. As once he landed he began drawing a bit more energy to figure out where the attack was coming from, as he faced the very explosion that was to occur. Desmond pointed his gun to the sky and fired his gun, as once the explosion went off, Desmond used the energy he had built up and magnified and propelled the energy to the maximum it could, giving a directional explosion against the impending explosion, in hopes to make the force of the explosion become something akin to a small shield of explosive force.

As once the explosions hit each other, Desmond drew as much energy he could in this small window of time, he knew he was going to gas himself out fast if he did this in such a short period of time. Expending his maximum energy and then immediately tried to draw in as much energy from the explosions as he could within a fraction of a moment to hopefully put up another defensive effect. As drawing in this much energy took its toll on Desmond but gave him enough energy within the moment he could produce a second energy pulse to defend himself and those he now risked his life to save. Once the explosion had finished, Desmond was already feeling the effects of trying such a risky move, but it at least worked, as those who were behind him were alive. It just left Desmond with some burns on his hands and forearms, but nothing a little healing and rest wouldn't fix.

After that Desmond Karim, Marlijn, and Owain went to search for the Chemical Mage who was moving all of the pawns, but they were unable to find them. Almost like they were never there, which made Desmond pissed off. Yet he at least got to see Blackthorn again, as his horse seemed to have made it out of the explosion fine. At least something went his way. As soon they went and began giving honors to the dead, Desmond watched the flames burn and listened to King Horik speak. Nothing really came to Desmond during this time, just the sounds of those around him, and the crackling of the fires of war. As Horik continued his farewells Desmond heard Horik speak of the Old Gods, Desmond cared not for the gods, may they be new or old, neither mattered to Desmond, but he understood the meaning within things, and when heads began bowing, Desmond lowered his and let the moment rest before he brought his head back up. Desmond felt something akin to rage fill the air, as now all here have been anointed and baptized in the flames of war.

Once their duty was done, they began their journey back to Ersand'Enise, a school that seems to have only made things more strange in their life of Desmond. Some made it back with glory and honor, others with defeat, and others never made it back, Desmond just wished for some sleep. As once Desmond awoke he found a note under his door that was meant to tell them they were going to be split up into new student groups, with new roommates and even masters. Desmond sighed as he saw this as the shifting of things from last night's many things. The Conclave and then the assassination attempts, they probably wanted to make sure nothing back would happen from people on different sides being together in the same room. Desmond didn't personally care for much that was going on, he was just upset they are switching something on him, and with this, he will need to make introductions with his new roommates. Yet that will have to wait, he is in today's Making Camp class, which doesn't really seem like it needs to be an actual class, but it seems like it will be something that they think would need to be there. This class probably exists for the noble likes, which upsets Desmond, not for the fact that they don't know, but for the fact that they wish to waste his morning like this, but he will go, after all, this could set a bad image for him if he decided to blow off a class.

Ismael had lost some of his focus on his slime killing, he now had to worry about the man who had used his powers in the midst of the Slime Slaying Festival. Ismael knew the man didn't mean it, he hoped, but his work now became an acting practice to make himself look like a bit of an ass to others. Scoffing and making remarks about Kaleb to other Slime Slayers as he is like a child and needs more training to not be such a show-off. Trying to throw off others in any way he could about the possibility of Kaleb actually using fire magic. With some people they looked at Kaleb like he was some kind of idiot who couldn't control himself, with others they just looked at Ismael like he was making an ass of himself, which was the point. They had different thoughts about Kaleb and that's all that mattered.

Once the killing was done, Ismael had finally found himself covered in slime goo. He was upset for a bit of time, well until he heard that they would be going to be given a free bath and armor cleaning. Ismael knew that cleaning his gear of this horrid mess would be a true hassle, he just hoped they would properly care for it afterward though, as he knows slime gunk would eat through many things, and the polish and oil on the armor would be torn through quickly if not given some care. Upon the regrouping, Kaleb seemed to look towards Ismael and ask if he was with the group. Ismael gave a moment and saw who was looking, as he noticed that some people were a little close for comfort. He thought for a moment as the proper action, as he made the initiative to continue his act. Ismael let out a snarl and bared his fangs and tilted his head as he spoke "Unfortunately I am". Ismael let the moment sink as he continued, "Yes Red is out here with us. She just knows when to be quiet". Ismael left that sting there as he moved along, he knew he was probably making a serious ass out of himself with Kaleb, but he thought this was the best way to make sure that those who might be watching for them would not see them.

After a bit of walking, Kaleb seemed to have taken the initiative to set himself as the center of attention, as he called to see what everyone's kill count was. Kharne was in the 90's Kaleb was 67, Ismael knew what his count was, 59 on the dot. Ismael wasn't gonna say anything though, as right now he needed to keep up his image as some kind of Alpha Male figure, and saying you are 8 under the person you are trying to be 'superior' to would just make you look like an idiot. Even though this was just a role Ismael was playing, he didn't want to make himself look like some idiot clown, well more than he feels like he is, he does like to think of his self-image a bit.

Once they made it to the washing area Ismael noticed that their group was given an area all to themselves, he let out a silent sigh, as that means he could more relax of others spying. Ismael seemed to relax once he got to the area. Here he began going to one of the showers near Kaleb and says to him in a tone only he could really hear. "Hey sorry for the bad introduction. My name is Ismael". Ismael's voice is much less harsh and snarling as he looked completely relaxed in comparison to his earlier tall and imposing demeanor.

Desmond had spent these past few days trying to catch up to everything that has been happening around him so far. The large celebration at the beginning wasn't one that he had fancied, it wasn't much he didn't like celebrations, it was the fact that he didn't like celebrations that made such a big note of him. He wished to have been much more low profile during this time, yet he was put at the center of attention, which was something that quickly drained him of his energy. Yet was a good thing to go through as it did allow him to know those he was going to with this year, many of which were high profile characters he would like to keep an eye on in case he can make a decent impression on, and a few others he remembers hearing about.

However it seemed he lost the time as they were already moving along to the introductory speeches as it went off well enough, Desmond was bored through most of it as it seemed nothing of note happened. It was just some basic introductions and speeches from people who they will be with. As they moved on to the more important stuff, meeting the group of students Desmond would be with for his time here. The people were interesting enough, but nothing that really interested Desmond though, as most people rarely do.

After that their group met with their master who would be in charge of them. Desmond has been quite hopeful that this person would be agreeable, and or like a good joke/prank. This was one of the few ways Desmond finds fun out of something other than his other pursuits. Here Desmond was shown his room, which he took quickly to make all his own, throwing up a Banner, starting to set up his desk, and such stuff. During this time his Master came back around and came to talk to him about the courses he wished to take up. Upon a quick time of thought Desmond had decided his courses:
Specializations:
- (Primary) Chemical School of Magic [MF104]
- (Secondary) Kinetic School of Magic [MF105]

Electives:
- Fundamentals of Geography & Cartography in Magical Practice [AC103]

After choosing his courses, Desmond relaxed as he began checking his weapons before heading off to bed. As the morning after was quite strange, it was on his nightstand he had an aberration sitting there, right above where he kept his handgun. Desmond spent less than a moment thinking about what this was before he went and grabbed his gun and touched the aberration with it. As when he did he was no longer able to see his gun and knew that this was an aberration. As he began to move slowly away from the aberration as he didn't know what it would do, but he knows it means nothing good. As he left his room as he began to put his gun away in his belt line as talked to his Master about this, and was told not to touch it.

As they were told to head off to classes after that, where many made fun of the idea of the aberrations and some people whispering about absorbing them. Some were getting information out of others, and it seems as most believe that it is dangerous, but those who have absorbed the aberration say that it can increase your RAS score while giving you some small side effects. Desmond was not one to believe in such a thing, after all, some say taking in QuickSilver can give you some health benefits, but like any snake oil, it will normally be some bullshit made up about something that does nothing or can silently kill you. Desmond did not wish to play with something with such little knowledge on it, also with the Master's watch, even his curiosity would not be able to even go and play with it without getting into trouble. So he moved along through his day until he made it back to his dorm to see the aberration had disappeared.

Yet the next day held something truly marvelous, or worrisome for Desmond, the Conclave is going to take place. Desmond was worried about the outcome of the Conclave, as he knew oftentimes wars can be sparked from meetings like these. War meant jobs for Desmond and his kind, but war also meant that he could not see his 'family' for some time. No matter the skill, if a military wishes, they can sometimes leave mercenaries to die for personal victory, or even use them in a bid to save themselves. This was a worry Desmond had multiple times, but he made it through, often either them figuring a way to do something else, or even them fighting their way out of the bad situation. It seemed Desmond's thoughts came to pass during the Conclave, as it seemed not only Perrence, but also Eskand were both set away from the table. Desmond knew this was going to be war, honor was tarnished, pride was hurt, and King Horik promised blood. Desmond and his group had worked for Eskand quite a few times, often finding themselves in full-blown combat. So Desmond knows of the nature of the Noble people speak of their ruler, Horik the Lean, but the one he knows more from the battlefield is, Horik the Berserker King.

However, these things seem to not matter as much as he finds himself now acting a part of Kejser Horik's Honor guard. Desmond was one of the few asked to do this, as a sellsword hailing from Enth, he has done work countless times within the nation of Eskand. Desmond became quite well known in his line of work and those who care because of his exceptional skills. Desmond going as part of the Guard wasn't something he was exactly thrilled with doing, honestly, he was slightly upset, after all, they weren't being paid for the time. Sure they paid for the meals, but Desmond literally did this as a job, he knows his damn worth. However, this did at least allow him to get closer to some prominent figures, so this could be an opportunity. Well, it would be if he was allowed to be near them, no he had to ride in the back because they saw him more fit as the rear guard. Something more akin to someone who was not of much need, after all his Eskandish was only working at best.

There seemed to have been this glow that occurred from everyone during this time. A glow of camaraderie as they sang songs of war, of glory, and of battle. Desmond was one to sing along to himself as they went along. Desmond felt slightly light-hearted at the moment, war meant work and good work at that. He's just worried about his 'family' as they were going to be brought in as sellswords, and he was here learning rather than being with them. Either way, he was here, so he was going to make the most of the feelings here, more light-hearted at the moment. Something akin to soldiers off to war, fresh-faced and hopeful. It was a feeling Desmond knows well, he's seen it a hundred times, however, it is a feeling that seems almost infectious. Well, the songs normally are, and Desmond always loved to hear music and sing.

Desmond was able to watch the back of everyone, as he saw the mountain of a man Eskand called a king. As he moved atop his horse, he made those nearest to him look like actual children. His presence seemed to have almost dwarfed the others around him, they seemed to almost cower among the might of the man as his very presence blotted out the four moons. The air group was light and cheerful as they went, but to Desmond, the air began becoming heavy, like a veil was slowly falling upon them. Desmond began a slow scan of the area, as of right when he spotted something, he saw the flash in the night and knew what it was, Magusjaegers. Desmond dropped his body to the side of the horse, allowing himself to hang by his leg and hanging on the saddle of the horse as the gunfire rang out. Blackthorn was a horse that was well trained for this maneuver, it was once used in war, and the horse was used to gunfire flying around it and even coming from the top of it. Bullets went flying and hitting people and horses indiscriminately, as when one flew and hit the King, Desmond was nervous, the King could have just died on the spot, however, it seemed he was able to stand after that shot and even stood up like the worst that happened was his clothing getting dirty.

Desmond was in slight awe, as the man even on foot was still giant, and got up from the gunshot and even just decided it was time to fight. No hesitation, Desmond knew what that meant though, as the King grabbed 2 large blades from his back, Desmond already prepared his own weapon and was ready to fight. As a large intake of energy occurred, the king almost seemed to boom at the emergence of enemies, as he rushed forward to meet the opposition with the other students. Desmond was more prepared to take care of the other Magusjaegers, as they would take them out before they noticed. These Magusjaegers were good, they weren't some armatures who used magic with guns, they hid their presence very well. Today was the day to see who was the better shot, Desmond or them.
