You're accepted, friendo. Robin is a really interesting take on a science officer- like she's smart but also she could definetly shoot you from 100 yards off. I imagine her shouting neat biology facts while kicking pirate's faces in.

This one took some doing and I'm not particularly confident about it but here we go.

Oh, totally accepted. He's already a good balance for Carabello- just as calm (*ahem* chill), but he strikes me as more strategic and less impulsive. Keeps Nick in check.

The Bonsai trees and astrology things are a nice touch, too. Makes him seem more spiritual? Yeah, you can drop him in the Characters tab when you're ready.

Loving the cast we managed to round up! Nice!

@Jeyma Can I suggest that we edit in near the top of the CS how long our charas have served aboard the Prize? Just think it would nice to see up front so we can react accordingly when we get our charas to interact with one another?

Yeah, I would encourage it now.

I say "now," because I had originally planned for this to be the first time the ship was launched. Nobody was supposed to have been on it before the RP. But I didn't communicate that clearly enough (sorry), so now a lot of y'all have the Prize built into your back stories.

But I'm not the type to ask anyone to change their characters after I approved them, so uh... let's say the Prize has been active for 3 years. Carabello joined as Captain only a month ago.

Everyone can add, if they want, how long they have been on the Prize.

Hm, still thinking on the details o the CS, but I'm thinking a First Officer looks to be about right. Everyone needs a Riker to their Picard.

It's more like just adding another layer to her perception check so to speak. She can read body language just fine without it, though when it doesn't work she can't double check and see if their emotions don't add up with what they're trying to show everyone. Also helps a lot if she can manage to read races with very subtle, or just plain contradictory, visual cues. Not all of her eggs are in the empathic basket.

An empath will be useful. I think I need a bit of clarification on one point, though. Can she "read" someone (by body language?) even when she's not telepathically sensing their emotions, or is all of her emotional perception because of telepathy?

Portable devices, communication up to the ship when needed, and such. Plenty of workarounds, yus yus. I'll probably make the Shipboard AI and a normal character, so in case they're separated from the ship I have a second character to play.
