Is there any better feeling than tsumo after a kan, and the dora turns out to be the four tiles you just called? I think not.

It's so fun to make random OCs for an RP I will probably never run

Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic (for character) stories. I enjoy creating original characters for RP,
but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me to chat!
However I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Mimika held a much different opinion to her party leader. She found the first few hours in the game to be a complete mess. She'd nearly died more than once against the slimes. One of their party members had gone AFK, and the other was a tryhard who kept coming and going as he pleased. That rogue was useful in helping them all finish the quest, but it was clear he was only out for himself. Well, not like I'm really that different, Marcus thought to himself - although, fighting with Neres and finally getting that red hat drop had been genuinely fun.

"Yay~ Progress!" Mimika similarly tossed her hands up into the air. She'd done a few extra slime hunts with that Ukk0nen guy before he left them, so she'd finally made it to a level where she could actually heal people. Time to set up shop somewhere. Partying with Neres and Chrys was fun, but Marcus had other plans.

Once the group had followed the arrows and gotten into town proper, Mimika stopped them briefly. "I'm gonna explore solo a little bit. I'll meet back up with you guys later." With that, she took off on her own.

Bellview was really cool to walk through. It was like some kind of medieval fantasy town, brightly colored and bustling. Mimika hummed as she skipped along the cobbled streets, pausing every now and then to ogle the food vendors or window shop. Sadly, she didn't have any money at the moment. When she turned in the quest, she'd get some, but now... Ah, oh well, hopefully I can offer my services to some of these schmucks soon anyway. The girl nodded to herself, though her reflection in a shop window caught her eye. The cleric approached it, giving herself a once over. Literally nothing had changed since the character creation screen, except now she had a bitchin' red staff. Oh yeah, I should ditch the cudgel, she reminded herself as she stared at her reflection. Seriously, she was super cute. Mimika struck a few poses and made a few sexy faces at herself, though after a moment a blush bloomed on her cheeks and she quickly stepped away. Jesus I'm acting like a perv. Gotta get my head back in the game.

[Vasilisa]: @cherryblossomblues you know about businesses and shit?

The sudden ping spooked Mimika and she nearly dropped her staff at the notification noise. A few people, she didn't know if they were NPCs or players, snickered as they walked by and she stuck her tongue out at them before opening up the chat window.

[cherryblossomblues]: ya I know about businesses but I need moneis i haven't got 1 **** copper coin yet im a healer I will heal 4 $$$ okay guys this goes for everyone also I sell pics cashapp @cherryblossomblues hmu

No, the young man behind the VR goggles did not feel ashamed in the slightest to type that out for other people to read.

[Vasilisa]: meet me in a dark alleyway somewhere

Uh, what? he thought. Did Mimika entice some loser into wanting erotic MMO roleplay already? It wasn't like Marcus hadn't done that kind of thing before, but he usually didn't get any bites this early. Still, money was money. With a wry smile on her face, Mimika typed in a quick reply before locating this "Vasilisa" person on the mini-map and making her way towards them.

@LordOfTheNight Can we choose to omit some things, like specific height/weight? I think those hard numbers harder to conceptualize personally and rather just say "this person is tall and thicc" or something.

I'm fine with D&D stats if they'll be changing/affect the RP in some way. I don't really see the point in assigning a number if the number will be unchanged through the story - sorry if that comes off kind of harsh, just giving my two cents. I'm still in either way.
I'm fine with either. Will the stats add anything to the RP or be relevant beyond being a baseline for our character's abilities? If they would just serve to show how good the characters are at certain tasks, I think a simple letter grade would work. For example...

Piloting: B
Magic: C
Combat: A

That way it's not complicated for no reason.
Letting someone else take one of the other the 'main character' roles, instead of myself, I think would be more prudent at this point. I am sorry, I guess I got this more sort of Egyptian fantasy vibe, just hearing of the desert setting. Animal headed super beings, sphynxs as a thing, basically i was just inserting fantasy ieas *I* had into something else, and that's not appropriate. So it would be better to let those who won't try to make the idea into something that isn't your own.

I was also under that assumption, though the current setting interests me as well. Still, if you change your mind and want back in, no hard feelings here, just thought I'd let you know that.

The look of pure, unabashed disgust that came over Orsender's face when he heard the young lord commented he'd actually like to be eaten - was that a fucking pick-up line?? Even in some weird fantasy world where I'm A GIANT DEMON MAN I still have to deal with this shit?? - was luckily obscured just by manner of the oni's back being turned. He ignored the rest of the group, continuing to study the obelisk. It was odd, for sure, and it felt... powerful, in a way. Obviously mystical too. Orsen clicked his tongue, mulling over the thought of touching the thing. Eh, fuck it, he thought, reaching out a hand and letting it rest on the stone surface.

As soon as his skin touched the pillar, he felt a foreign and blinding sensation. It set his nerves on end and made his brain feel funky, as if something was touching some organ he didn't even know he had. He quickly drew his hand away, staring at the pillar with wide - and a little affronted - eyes. Orsen shook his hand as if it had been burned, although no pain was present. The experience was strange, and not at all enlightening. The large man huffed and turned back to the gathered people, seeing the weird lord gone and his... assistant? Orsender didn't really know or care what her title was. The equally weird lady was leading the way toward the lord's estate.

Perhaps surprisingly, Orsen followed her. Despite how he may look, he wasn't stupid - or at least, he liked to think he wasn't. The situation they all found themselves in could be some kind of shared fever dream, but he actually believed it was real. Especially considering what he'd been doing just before arriving. So, if this was "real," that meant they probably had to work together. Orsen grumbled to himself as he followed the group along. He really didn't like the sound of paling around with a bunch of girls and a little boy, although the girls were cute once they weren't actively freaking out. However, running off alone would be really dumb. I'll stick around until I get my bearings, Orsen thought, once again stretching his arms out over his head and enjoying the new skin he found himself in.

The oni was surprised to see such a huge building in the middle of the forest, but then again he had just fallen out of the sky and into someone else's body. Wait, is this someone else's body or mine? he seemed to remember something from childhood, but it clashed with his original memories as a human. He was pulled from his thoughts by one of the ladies asking about a washroom and he couldn't help but bark out a laugh.

"Bathroom, yeah, and food!" he grinned, tapping his stomach. Normally he wouldn't be going right up to a huge, suspicious mansion and waltzing right in, but they were guests, right? Orsender took one last look at Yda, sizing her up, seeing if he could take her in a fight... Maybe? He still thought a fight wasn't worth it at this point, but if this whole thing turned out to be a trap - and wouldn't that be just my luck? Jeez - he might be able to get out of it with the sword at his back.
Of course if guard is bowing out then that means you can take their place if you want

@Yankee

Strong chance I will do just that, unless they change their mind of course. Ping me when an OOC goes up!

Daybreak | Fortress' South Side

Bel watched as her arrow struck home, lodging itself deep into the brigand's arm. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to stop him, and the man continued making his way toward the wyvern rider and her current companion - a Raven, if she recalled correctly. The little effect her attack had on the man was beginning to affect Bel's enthusiasm, though she lined up another shot regardless. Before she could follow through, movement from the corner of her eye stopped her, and the girl turned her head just in time for an enemy's arrow to slash open her cheek. Stinging pain bloomed on the side of her face, and she quickly brought a hand up to swipe at the blood slowly running from the wound. Her first battle wound, and it drove her mind into a spiral. This was a bad idea! I have to keep going. But I can't! I need to help everyone else... they can handle it themselves. I shouldn't run away! I need to retreat before I'm hurt even worse! I can't do this after all, I... I'm out of my depth...!

It was as though the cut had deflated Bel of all the hot air the Prince had instilled her with. She was still a rookie, yet she was acting recklessly - the nerves of first battle weren't enough to excuse that. The young Imperial gripped the reins of her horse tightly to keep from shaking, and below her Sunbeam stamped a heavy hoof on the ground to get her attention. Once again brought out of her thoughts by the horse (and really she would have to pamper the hell out of him soon, because he'd been doing that so much more than she should have needed it), Bel refocused on the battle. The mage woman's attack had been effective, and she watched one of the archers fall from the fortress' window. The rider grew her eyes back up, spotting the archer that shot at her and finding he was currently still aiming in her direction.

The brigand released his hold on the bowstring and his arrow flew forward. Panicked by full of self-preservation, Bel cracked her horse's reins and spurred Sunbeam to jump to the right and out of the arrow's path. The weapon nicked the horse's flank, not doing much damage but making the animal snort angrily all the same. That archer would prove a problem, it would be best to help the mage out in dealing with them.

Riding closer to the fort as the enemy made to draw another arrow from his quiver and nock it, Bel raised her own bow and took careful aim at the men through the open window. A little quicker to calm down this time, Bel let her arrow fly directly for the enemy archer's face.

I have a concept rolling around in my head right now, though I'll wait until OOC/CS are up and may PM you what I'm thinking at that time.
Curious about "side characters" as I see your cast is full. I might be interested in a side character the appears from time to time in the Sunrunner base, or something similar. Also curious about the setting, do you have anymore world-building info or is it a "to be discovered" type thing? Talking about culture and stuff, not so much physical world.

As soon as the food trolleys were brought out, the gathered group seemed to grow all the more lively - and they were already quite the loud bunch. It didn't bother the Cadet one bit, in fact he often found himself smiling as he listened to the stories being passed around the room. Ace Cadet felt no shame in helping himself to generous portion of pretty much all the food that had been wheeled out. Hunters could eat a lot under normal circumstances, but he hadn't eaten for a few hours and he'd just been freed from mind control. He was hungry. As the red head shoveled food into his mouth he overhead the pretty, metallic girl scold her companion for his lack of etiquette. Shucks, Cadet thought to himself, feeling a bit bad for the little guy. It sucked to be scolded by a cute girl. Of course, Cadet was feeling bad for him all the while stuffing himself in a similar way. It took a few moments for the hunter to realize this, and almost sheepishly he slowed down too, even though admonishment hadn't been meant for him.

Soon enough the first course was over with, and like most of the group Cadet wandered over the mysterious boxes. As he did, he listened in to the little blue robed guy's story he was surprised that their "posse" was even bigger than just the people gathered in the Guild Hall. He didn't question why they were split up, it was kind of obvious. The faster the evil guys were defeated, the better, and with their large group they could afford to split and send the best crews for each job in opposite directions. The rest of Kamek's story was making his head spin though... so he ignored it. Instead he approached the pile of items quickly forming in the center of the room, some spawned from the boxes and some dumped there by the others.

"Wow, cool!" Cadet remarked, poking and prodding some things. The group were choosing items for themselves, so he could too right? Sure he was like, one of the newest members if not the newest, but a squad is a squad! "No one's gonna mind if I take these, right?" he asked with a grin, picking up a few items from the pile: the Cave Crawler Skin, Homeward Bone, and the arm guards from the loot box. He tucked the skin and bone into his bag as another round of food was delivered. He'd wanted to compare the arm guards to the bracers he currently had on, but that could wait. After serving himself another heaping helping, the Cadet made his way back to his previous spot beside the little guy - "Masterpon"...? He'd have to work on the names.

Ace Cadet was in the middle of devouring what was probably his seventh lanternfruit skewer when Tora pointed out the white haired hunter - who the Cadet knew as Geralt from his time living in Lumbridge - and mentioned beating him up. The red head nearly choked on his food, coughing lightly and looking at Tora with surprise. He leaned a little closer to the whatever-he-was in order to half-whisper to him.

"Is that how it works??" It wasn't like Cadet didn't trust the little guy, he was just still very new to this saving the world business. Besides that, Tora was small, fluffy, had a cute way of speaking and an air of helpfulness... kind of similar to certain hunter companions. What wasn't to trust?

He looked back to Geralt, not at all subtle about his staring. Geralt was a respected hunter here in Lumbridge, and he supposed if they all jumped him... actually now that he was looking at the other man a little closer... he looked a little more familiar than just having seen him around town, but Cadet couldn't quite place that feeling.
