Tiffany's eyes were closed, but she was blissfully aware of the conversation between Riley and Amelia. Happy that those two would be reunited along with her and Ray, she let sleep overcome her. She was close to waking, but any chance at rest she could get she would take. In her sleep, her thoughts wandered. The destruction of Newnan was still fresh in her mind. After all, moments before they had a wedding and it should have been a wonderful time after that.

Now they were all separated. Thankfully, they had found each other and it seems like a few others did as well. It was a close call.

Soon, sleep took her and, thus, did dreams. One vivid one came to her instantly. She was walking along a field of yellow flowers, unlike any she has seen since. Around her was nothing except nature. It was as if she was in a time before the fall. Soon, the wind picked up and she could feel the soft breeze on her skin. She noticed she was wearing a dress that young women would have worn on a breezy spring day. It wasn't her taste, per se, but it felt good to wear something other than army pants and hoodies for protection.

Then a voice rang out. "Hey Tiff." Tiffany turned around to see Zahary standing there, just as she left him. However, she noticed a bite mark on him, more intense than she saw originally. "Zach? No, I thought the voices would be gone.."

Zachary chuckled. "It's ok Tiff. I'm not a voice. I am you. This is a dream after all. I just wanted you to know that it's ok. I'm not mad at you." Tiffany let out a chuckle. "So I am forgiving myself, it seems." Zachary shrugged. "I don't make the rules, sweetheart. Ray seems like a good guy. I am glad you found someone despite all of this." After he said that, the sky darkened and she heard the moans and yells of the undead. They sprang up from the field. In a panic, Tiffany reached for a gun not there. She wanted to scream and run, but Zachary held up a hand. "You will wake up soon. This was both fantasy and reality. It's going to be ok."

Tiffany woke up with a gasp. She glanced around her, hoping the others paid little mind to her antics. She took a deep breath and laid down again. She wanted to sleep some more, but she was also afraid her dreams would take over again.

"I'll try not to." Ray said towards Medic and looked over towards Amelia and nodded towards her and gave her a thumbs up and gave her a smile, then Medic gave him a dose of painkillers around the area that needed the stitches, letting out a slight groan as it happened. Ray closed his eyes as he simply focused on listening in on Amelia and Riley's conversation. He started to feel a little bit woozy from it, he could feel the pressure, but other than that it wasn't painful. Raymond then opened his eyes as he looked over towards Guy he didn't mind him watching as he got the stitches in.

He was just really glad to hear that Tiffany was all safe and sound, smiling to himself hearing her voice once more made him feel a lot better after today. Ray wouldn't want to be separated from her again, he then couldn't help but start to wonder what their future would be like again. It would certainly take a lot of time until they would settle in a place and start rebuilding, he sighed slightly as he started to wonder how Jack was doing as well, he hadn't heard Tatiana over on the radio on Ashton's end. Ray however did continue to listen in on the static that was playing over the radio while Amelia and Riley had their conversation.

Riley gave Tiffany a slight smile when she gently patted her on the shoulder and watched her go back to her spot and sat down, she then couldn't help but hold back the tears anymore. She leaned forward and just smiled wiping away a few tears away from her eyes and sighed, Riley didn't think she would never hear Amelia's voice ever again. Riley sighed happily and just smiled looking over at Ashton as he went to take stock on their supplies, before finally answering Amelia for the first time. "I'm here, love i'm so glad to hear you are okay." Riley said smiling brightly, then she started to bite her bottom lip when Amelia asked if she was alright, and truthfully she wasn't alright at all in the least. She watched Chloe die in her arms, her clothes were still stained with her blood as well it took her a little bit longer before finally answering her.

"I've been better, don't worry about me though i'm just happy you are okay." Riley said, as she started to hear the static on the radio going on again, she wasn't sure what it was. Maybe it was another safehouse she didn't know, then it died once more Riley looked over at Jack knowing that he wasn't alright either. "I'm fine, not hurt at all." Riley decided to leave the part where she nearly got impaled after tumbling out of the Hordebuster.

"Hey listen Ash wants us to keep this short, I just want to tell you and let you know that I love you and get some rest i'll see you tomorrow." Riley said towards Amelia and smiled softly. Riley of course wanted to talk to her, a lot longer she needed someone to vent to, but they needed the line clear for now in case anyone else needed a turn as well. Riley then got up from where she was sitting and made her way towards Ashton to hand him the radio back.

The man holding him at gun point eventually started to relax, especially after Manny had removed the revolver he had on his person and set it down. The Fellow Baby Boomer said he preferred to be called Alexander, he could respect that. It sounded more official, more powerful, Manny wasn't that kind of person though, part of the reason he kept mostly to his nickname. What Manny wasn't a fan of was the fact that Alexander was refusing to let him help the wounded from his cell until the fighting was done, claiming that Manny was still a potential threat while Alexander was alone with him. Manny thought that was foolish, as Manny was pretty sure he was older, and honestly at this point winded, and had disarmed himself from his weapon that his new guard didn't know about. But in this situation he didn't have too much room to argue, he was getting too tired to put up much resistance.

Manny almost started listing off the many years of his medical experience and his many degrees to make a point about him being a doctor, partially out of being a little irritated now, and partially because he knew he would be more useful being active then he would be sitting with a gun to his head. Though at this point it wasn't really pointed at him, and was lowered, still ready to aim and shoot if Manny moved wrong. He had seen people do this many times before but had rarely been on this side of the barrel. before Manny had a chance to start making his rants the gunfire picked up again, from the sounds of it some kind of assault rifle, sounded almost like one of the military ones, the M16's maybe. Though M4s were popular now weren't they? Truth be told, Manny didn't know the difference, nor did he really care. They both did the same work in his mind. Make holes in people that Manny would have to find a way to patch up with limited to no resources.

Manny noticed the look in Alexander's eyes fast though, and thinking about it, Manny didn't see any rifles in his group of people that fit the description of one of the military rifles. It looked mostly like shotguns and pistols. Manny was starting to understand the fear in the fellow survivor's eyes. Unfortunately for Manny, he would have to try and prove his skills in the medical field in a way that would be less then optimal, or maybe even possible. Manny ignored the comment about shitting pellets from the scared old man, now it was time to work. Manny got up and followed Alexander to the scene of the massacre. Manny noticed three people on the ground, the one with the M4 rifle, and a man and woman who looked like they had been shot, it seemed that this small band was starting to get smaller.

"I'm so glad to hear you say it. To hear that you are save." She cried happily over it as she heard the other woman talk and wiped a few tears from her face as she did so. The joy was certianly going strong with her right now. The rush of emotions that was currently happening was the only thing keeping her awake once more given the situation. She smilled, nodded to no one and wiped a few more tears from her face.

"I love you too, Riley." She said quietly, smiling with a wet from the tears face." Alright, we will see tomorrow, it's a promise, alright?" She added quietly and pulled away from the radio slowly, slightly reluctant to let whomever was next for it. She looked at Ray giving him a nod before moving to one of the sleeping bags this time, she didn't throw herself on the creaky sofa. She vaguely recalled the static on the radio which she was too busy thinking about Riley to notice a few moments earlier.

"I wonder what that static was..." She mumbled to herself as she moved into a sleeping bag, curling up at the most comfortable position she can and relaxing down, feeling the drowsiness grow heavy again. The rush of adrenaline from talking to Riley had ended and now it was time to sleep once more. She smiled happily as she nodded off into the lands of dreams, her smile not leaving her face.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Eden - Lower Lobby
Skills: Pistol, Hand-to-Hand Combat, Stamina

For a moment, Beatrice considered falling back. Gavin and Thana had both hit the ground after getting sprayed with bullets. Odds were, at least one of them - maybe both - were dead. In a mission like this, it was still far less casualties than would be expected. No bullets had nicked her or Thalia, which in itself was a blessing. But she had committed to this mission and Beatrice ignored the feeling in her gut that told her to leave, to survive rather than live. At least if she died here, she'd have lived a little bit before she went. "Old Timer, do what you can," Beatrice said curtly.

Thalia had done an amazingly flexible move, using Cowboy as cover and Beatrice had her own pistol at the ready, trying her best to get a clear shot on their deranged companion to take him out. Beatrice didn't know if this was the leader of Eden they were looking at or just an underling. With these people, it was almost impossible to tell. Without Ryan alive, they didn't really have anyone who could give an ID. However, that didn't matter. The man was a hostile and would be treated as such: with extreme prejudice.

Jack Hudson

Location: Arnco Mills Safehouse (E10)
Skills: N/A

Jack was fast asleep, but his dream was anything but pleasant. Of course, it had started out relatively charming and sweet. He had a small apartment in Boston with Tatiana. His mother lived just a few blocks away and had been promoted to Associate Professor at her school. Tatiana was pregnant with their third child. Their two kids, Sally and James, were adorable little hell raisers, speaking an equal amount of Russian and English. And of course, he worked as a cop and Tatiana danced, having her own studio where she gave lessons. The Great Bazhooli was in his dream as well for some reason but Jack didn't pay too much attention to it.

"Solovey?" Jack called out, finding himself in their kitchen. The ground was shaking and he looked around, watching as the pictures of Sally and James fell to the ground and shattered. The family cat let of a shriek and ran outside, with Jack staring at the orange blur for a second. If he had blinked, he would have missed it. "Solovey, where are you?" He then turned around, finding himself standing in the middle of the road. Cars around him were skidding and spinning out of control. He stoped and stared, seeing a holographic image of....John Brolin in his role from the Goonies?! Brolin gave Jack a wink, before he snapped his fingers. He turned around only to see Tatiana and he grinned, going to give her a kiss before she turned to dust in front of his eyes.

"....SOLOVEY!"

Alexander Polawski

Location:Eden: Lower Lobby

While other appeared to have taken point further up ahead of them and covering it, Alexander wasn't letting go of the automatic-fire Edenite lying on the ground. One could never be too sure; Manny had only spoken about a guard possibly being dead and possibly coming back from the dead. This one Alexander could see in plain sight, and he was the priorite then. The Beretta was pointed firmly at the man lying on the ground and aimed at his chest, the veterans trigger finger firmly where it was meant to be.

Alexander stepped quickly up to the man, ready for him to jump back up and fighting like crazy, but the Edenite didn't die. Either he was indeed dead or in shock. Either way Alexander holstered the pistol, put down Manny's shotgun and slung his fireaxe off the shoulder. In anger and disgust Alexander cleaved his axe right into the man's head as if it was nothing in the world. Now he was dead for good, and no longer a possible threat to the group, who desperatly needed to make a decision sooner rather than later.

He turned his attention to the automatic rifle then and picked it up to inspect it. It was fairly standard for an automatic weapon as far as he could see, taken into consideration he hadn't used one for years. Pressing the magazine release and checking the magazine, it was empty. Good, but bad. The rifle's chamber was empty too, and after a quick search of the Edenite it was clear that the last burst of fire was the last one; no bullets on him, just a knife and a necklace made of...God, those people really were FUBAR...various human body parts threaded on a piece of string. Alexander threw the human necklace in anger at the Edenite, spitting on he's now cloven face and taking the knife for himself.

"We can't stay here, not like this." Alexander with the clearest realization of what their options were, like in a combat situation where neither of said options were good ones. His eyes shifted from the dead Edenite and up to Thalia as she provided cover, before his words continued to shoot out like rockets from a gunship. "Either we have to continue the attack and hopefully take out the rest, or we have to pull out and get the Hell out of this place. We can't stay here with Gavin or Thana..." The Veteran was soon back over Thana, though not able to tell anything from the shitstorm that had just hit her. As he then kneeled down beside her, his eyes shot over to Beatrice as she told Manny to do what he can, then at least to Manny himself. "Why are you just standing there, medic? Do something!" Alexander now nearly shouted at Manny, probably not realizing he was getting mixed signals of which battlefield he was in; Edenite or Vietnam? It was all too same right then; Alexander could do little to improve it except covering them and praying for the best.

Ash Holloway

Location: Arnco Mills Safehouse (E10)

Ash watched as the others began to fruft off to sleep. It must have been blissful. Or a relief, however temporary. The change in breathing for some meant that their rest wasn't exactly as restful as they would like. That was to be expected, too. If Ash himself got out of this with just a nightmare or two, he might consider himself a damn lucky man.

It was an extremely unsubtle reminder of how fragile anything was these days. Their whole town, everything they had worked for over years, gone in an afternoon. So much death. So much loss. It was enough to make anyone crack. Along a similar thought, Ash realized that he hadn't heard from that little voice from his subconscious for a while. It could be because that part of his personality was foremost in his brain at that moment, living as he was with tactical survival for he and hus people in mind. Maybe he was just giving himself permission to cut himself a break.

All these things, all these concerns, plus a host of many others swirled around in the back of Ash's mind. Focus on the job at hand - inventory had been taken, priorities assigned (or mostly so) for their survival, think to the plan tomorrow. And for now, keep to self-assigned watch. This is what he could to to help as many of his people as were left.

Thalia Carmichael

Location: Eden, Lower Lobby
Skills: Stealth, Survival, Pistol

Others started to filter into the room. Backup, if you will, provided that the septuagenarian cage-dweller was on the up and up. Thalia was beginning to trust Alexander, enough at least that in this particular scenario her guns didn't flash around. The tall, twitchy old guy was definitely not on the cool list. In fact, she would have been a lot less anxious about the whole situation if he had a series of 9mm ventilation holes and was left in a gasping heap, winding down to a gurgling, undramatic halt like a broken toy. His saving grace at this point, silver lining, if you will, was that he had claimed to be a doctor. Well, he'd better hope that he was a damned good trauma surgeon, because that's what was needed. Otherwise, there wasn't a soul that was coming out of this building happy. She'd damned will see to that.

The thought stopped her for a microsecond. In the space of a couple of minutes, she had gone back to a dark place. She used to live in that place as a means of survival. Hell, it was possible that if people like this had found her instead of the Valkyries, and then later Lola, she'd have fully perverted the ethic of her Familia and turned into something like ...these people that she was mercilessly killing. She was supposed to be better then that. Her father's people tried to instill something better in her. Just as blatantly violent, granted, but better.

Take the guy bleeding out in front of her. Thalia was down on a knee right in front of him. Gavin - that was his name. He stepped in front of her and took the fully automatic lead spray without even thinking about it. She couldn't tell if the poor bastard was alive or dead, and every instinct that she had was screaming at her to shake it off and complete the mission. But no one else was even checking to see if he was alive, let alone moveable. "...mierdita..." she swore, slowly setting down one of her pistols to tentatively place her fingers on the man's neck. She was no doctor but she did know where to cut for maximum splatter effect, a lesson courtesy of the elders of her family. She held her index and middle fingertips where a living man would show the involuntary movement of blood vessels. Sadly, there was none. The firearm had done its work well, even piercing the guy's throat. She shouldn't have bothered going for a heartbeat. Wounds like that, she might have seen air trying to get in and back out. There was nothing. The big Texan's story ended there. "He's gone. We need to move. Navy?"

Tiffany went back to sleep, though she never got fully invested in that. Scared that she will experience another dream like the one she just had, she instead let her thoughts wander. The fact she had seen visions of people not there (and Jack too) still had not been discussed. Did the others experience the same thing they did? If so, why? If not, why not? It bothered her to this moment.

She could hear the others move around and she found it harder and harder to fall asleep. Eventually, she succumbed to it and had no follow-up dreams. Instead, she managed to get a decent amount of rest, from a mentally and physically exhausting day. The last thing she needed was to be drained emotionally too.

Raymond stared at Amelia and smiled hearing her over the radio, but didn't want to say anything else, he continued to remain still wincing slightly just feeling the numbness he could still feel the needle a bit as Medic continued his job. He, of course had to deal with the pain of losing his leg which was far worse than getting stitched up. His thoughts continued to go to what would tomorrow end up bringing them. He started to wonder who else didn't make it, as far as he knew there weren't that many survivors that had gotten out of Newnan just yet. Raymond was honestly just looking forward to seeing Tiffany once more, that was the only person he truly waned to see, he eyed both Guy and Medic.

He figured that they needed to also arrange shifts to watch, he wasn't even sure what they had in mind either at the moment, Amelia could rest the entire evening. She pretty much dragged him out of the crumbled walls, and out of Newnan safely he watched Amelia sleep peacefully in her sleep. "So whos going to be taking the first watch?" Ray asked, he wouldn't mind taking a shift, he also needed to keep his mind busy at some point as well.

"I promise I will see you tomorrow, be safe." Riley said towards Amelia on the other end, whipping a few tears away letting out a soft sigh and smiled to herself. She went over towards Ashton and handed it over towards him, figuring that he wanted to talk to Guy, or Medic on the other end. "Here you go bossman, figured you wanna talk to Guy or Medic on the other line for a bit." Riley said towards Ashton as she went back and sat down on the couch, her eyes wondering over towards Jack, and Tiffany, seeing the two of them getting some much needed shuteye. Riley really wanted to do that as well, after what had happened and feeling helpless in saving Chloe. She sighed slightly as she went to lay down on the couch and just stared up at the ceiling she was incredibly tired now.

"Wake me up when its my shift for watch." Riley called out towards Ashton, and rolled over onto her side her face, facing the back rest of the couch. Riley whipped away a few more tears she was very gratful that Amelia made it, and they could continue with their relationship she smiled slightly to herself remembering waking up in her bed with Amelia next to her. She sighed slightly and started to close her eyes now and then started to get a little bit of rest, it was very restless as she occasionally tossed and turned in her sleep.

Eden

Whatever was going on in the rest of Eden, or whoever was left - wasn't making themselves known. It was probably a good thing considering what had just went down. Gavin lay there. He was gone but his body hadn't finished bleeding yet. The pool of blood still building up and spreading from beneath him. Thana was down as well and she was still bleeding, heavily, but it seemed that it wasn't from a vital area.

Laying no the ground, Thana opened her eyes slowly and glanced across the cold floor towards where Gavins body was laying. She vaguely remembered someone demanding a cough. "Cough, cough," she said weakly. Granted she didn't cough, she just said the words. Her screwed up sense of humor kicking in right then.

Thana could feel the blood leaving and it was making her light headed, the pain was searing from the multiple gun shot wounds so she didn't move but to roll over on her back slowly and very carefully. She knew she didn't have shit on her to help with this but she had spotted that when Gavin dropped so did the pack with him. She knew that pack, it was familiar. Not in a familiar from ears ago sense but it looked just like the one she had left in the truck before this whole thing started. It was a Newnan Bug out Bag.

"Kit, bag," she said before actually coughing up a bit of blood and spitting it out off to the side. The Newnan Bug out bag had a pretty decent first aide kit in it.

The blood was getting worse by the second, Manny made a choice to go help the girl first, she seemed worse at first so she would need to be stabilized sooner. It seemed like the most realistic way to help them both. Manny dropped to his knees yanking off his belt and preparing to tourniquet her arm. It wouldn't do much for the shoulder wounds, but it would be a start. He tried to get the girls attention. "You are going to need to trust me here, you're dying and I lack the supplies I need to preform anything major on you." He took the belt, she cooperated enough that he was able to attempt and slow the bleeding, though the first attempt was useless, there was so much blood, so much... the belt came clean off. He tried again using more brute force to hold it then he tightened it so it would stay put this time.

There was yelling, everyone was starting to get scared, including himself at this point. "She'll hold until I can stabilize the other one." He was about to get up, when the other girl who's name still slipped his mind mentioned that the male was dead. Manny did his best to not let it show, but this was probably for the best. Attempting to piece together two people with next to nothing would be nearly impossible. Especially with most likely being the only doctor of this small group. He got that impression from the yelling. Healing up one person though with one doctor and next to nothing, the odds were noticeably better. But without a basic surgery kit or first aid kit, he wouldn't be able to do much at all. His patient said something, he didn't make it out at first, he was starting to have trouble focusing now. But looking at where she was looking, bag clicked into his mind. "Bag! Someone check the damn bag for a first aid kit, it's the only way she will live through this!" He went back to trying to keep the bleeding minimal. The makeshift job he did would slow, and she wouldn't bleed out soon, but something more permanent needed to be done.

Amelia Payne

Location:Sharpsburg , Main st.(F11)

After Amelia fell asleep pretty much right away, she missed the commotion that the appearance of the voice of Tati caused. She was blissfully unaware, inside her own land of dreams. She slightly stirred at the noise caused by Guy, but overall didn't wake up or anything even close. She was dead asleep as they could say, having her powers drained to the limit as they were during the whole day from the pleasantish morning, through the living nightmare after that and then the desperate struggle to survive post the nightmare. She needed that sleep badly so she took it without care in the world now that Riley was confirmed alive and well. Her dreaming face revealed her relaxed expression and innocent vulnerability.

Inside her dreams the things were rather sureal. It was filled with the typical unexplainable things such as warped time, things were kind of moving in slowmotions, there were some flowerpetals flying around like there was a giant blossoming tree somewhere in the surroundings despite there being none. There was finally her last workplace before the apocalyplse. The place she worked as a waitress for a while that is. It was packed full with people right now, she was busy to deliver orders, everything was hazy and she was listening to Riley's music. It wasn't just a memory though because Riley was also there, she was one of the customers, all the other people kind of didn't get faces though. She didn't even pay attention to that small fact that she ignored completely. It was a dream, she had an excuse to do so after all. SHe was happy and that was all that mattered right now. Thus she turned to her side in her sleep, mumbling something uncomprehensible as she did so, turning onto her right side without ever waking up.

"God...forgive us..." Alexander words rumbled through his own gritted teeth, muffled and quiet to the world surrounding him. Things were going down-hill into a bamboo-trap faster than you could say "This was probably a bad idea, Sarge!". Gavin was dead. Alexander barely looked over his shoulder towards where Thalia lay over Gavin, announcing his passing, before looking down at his own two feet. She was right, they had to get out of that place and fast. And it would all have been for nothing.

His eyes shot up as fast as they had gone down when he heard the coughing in front of him. No wait, it wasn't coughing. Someone was just saying the words "cough cough." "Navy?" Alexander managed to say through his equal surprise and joy that she was talking, until he actually heard what she tried to tell them. Kit. Bag. What bag? Alexander looked in all directions for any sort of bag she could be speaking of, before seeing it lying with Gavin's still bleeding body. "Just keep her alive, Manny. I'll get it!"

Alexander sprinted over to the bag, his eyes looking at Thalia who was still with Gavin and giving her a look of apology. She had been left alone to watch over Gavin, a fate he himself had befallen many a time before, which was never ever easy. His eyes looked from Thalia and down to Gavin as Alexander's right hand made a cross-gesture over him and himself while he whispered quickly. "In your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our brothers and sisters. In this life you embraced them with your tender love; deliver them now from every evil and bid them eternal rest. Amen."

The veteran was by no means a chaplain or a priest, but this was the best he could do. "I'm sorry..."

Alexander pushed himself off the floor and grabbed the bag Thana called for, rushing back over to where she and Manny both were. "All right, let's see..." Alexander opened the bag forcefully, almost ripping off the zipper keeping it close as he searched frantically through it. Oh it was big, contained even more than anyone could hope for a bag like that; clothes, food, a book and a gun. Finally he found it. "Here we go! First aid kit;" Alexander pulled it out of the bag and opened it, looking through it as he passed it to Manny.* "Tablets, bandages, antiseptics, scissor, gloves, you name it! Use it well, Manny, and save her. You just might prove to not be an Edenite asswipe after all." Alexander said to Manny, perhaps trying to be friendly but sounding angry more than anything. They had already lost Gavin and Lola, and he wasn't letting Thana go just yet. He wasn't allowing a repeat of 'Nam or the Florida-incident again. He couldn't take that.

Ash Holloway

Location: Arnco Mills Safehouse (E10)
Skills: Leadership

It seemed a final touch to the evening when Riley handed over the radio and found a soft spot to lay her head for the evening. At her request to wake her for her turn at watch, Ash grunted an agreeable "Mmm hmm, yeah..." as he returned to his spot near the window. As it came to it, he preferred to take first watch. It meant that he had a single block of uninterrupted sleep over the course of the night, provided that something unexpected did not occur. In his experience, something planned by an intelligent source would happen just prior to dawn. Also in his experience, albeit more recent, no one without massive cause would be anywhere around this area at night, not with the number of the Dead drawn to the sound and fires of Newnan's collapse.

On the other hand, there still lay the possibility that someone from Newnan might wander up, having traveled at a slower pace or forced to take a longer route. Ash wanted to be immediately available in that case. It seemed to be a longshot. He had very little hope that anyone else was alive, or if so, was in any condition to make it very far.

Then the radio in his hands made him a liar. He knew that voice on the other end, garbled and mangled though it was. At least, he thought he did. "Copy. Heard it too, Guy." Ash switched to a clearer, more direct tone of voice, addressing the third party (who he really hoped was who he thought it was), "I cannot hear you. I hope you can hear me. We will be en route at first light. Southern safe house first, then rally point. Stay alive. Over and out." He looked to Jack, curious as to whether he was still awake. If it was Thana, he'd want to know.

To hell with it. Give the man some hope. He needed it more than any of them. "Jack. Jack." he rasped, walking over to the possibly unconscious form of his Second. "We thought we heard Tati on the box, Jack. And the word Zebulon. Thought you should know."

Thalia Carmichael

Location: Eden, Lower Lobby -> Doors across from Fitness
Skills: Stealth, Survival, Pistol

When someone commits acts of violence, one after the other after the other in rapid succession, killing more people in an hour than they had throughout the entirety of their life before, it tends to invoke a slew of emotions. Compound this with the death of the closest friend she had left in the world, especially now that the world had turned to shit. That's what Thalia would have thought, anyway. A bevy of uncontrollable feelings should be crushing her right now. Who knows? For all of her brooding and anti-social behavior back when there was cable television and jelly doughnuts, she was pretty sure that she would have broken down into tears or lapsed into shock over what had happened. But that just wasn't the case. Not at all.

Thalia's emotions were present, but held in check. An odd calmness came over her. She was going to die today or everyone else was - she understood this with specific clarity - and it was more likely that it would be her turn to go down in a hail of gunfire before it was accomplished. She didn't seem to care. What she did care about was that they were brought to a standstill by some twitchy fuck who mowed down two of their group. Even if everything was going to by just hunky-dory, the guy who claimed to be a doctor could patch them up like new, and they could all join hands and sing later on, the truth was that they were massively exposed and she was the only one left to take point. No, she wasn't a soldier. She was a Gonzalez, even if her given name was Carmichael. Job wasn't done yet. Nine bullets left in one gun. Seventeen in the other. Five more mags besides. And a good blade doesn't run out of happy until you do.

She heard Thana weakly speak the words "Cough Cough", indicating that she was alive enough to be sarcastic. Good sign. Not great, but a good sign. That Manny guy almost looked like he knew what he was doing. With little to no medical knowledge, she couldn't help anyway, and Alexander was assisting while simultaneously standing guard, of sorts. Thalia rose fully to her feet and began a purposeful stride toward the other end of the Lobby. Passing Thana upon the ground, she gave her a little smirk, acknowledging her use of sarcasm in the face of adversity and her own blood decorating the flooring panels. "That's my girl." remarked, followed by the assurance, "We've got this." Her clear duty was to kill as many people as possible. It just felt right.

Briefly, she wondered if this was how her uncle felt all the time.

Following a shrug, Thalia poked her head into the corridor to her right, leading away from a room marked "Fitness Center". All the way down to one side, there was a single armed man. She could not tell if he looked vengeful or nervous. Thalia gave a quick whistle to get the guy's attention before pumping three bullets out of her new Beretta and in the direction of her latest target. Two of them found their mark. She didn't bother stopping this time. One way or another, someone else was going to get shot. Thalia began to make her way down to where the man lay; perhaps he had friends that wanted to play, too.

Raymond looked at Amelia she was out like a light now, as Ray leaned back and sighed slightly as he continued to relax somewhat, then Ray heard the radio going off once more. Then a voice started to breakthrough somewhat and it was Tatiana's voice which he was surprised to hear, though he couldn't make out any major words at the moment. It was a good sign that she made it alive, and just hoped that they would be able to make it through till the next day. Raymond could hear Ashton's voice over the radio as well, he was glad that their leader was alive and well to as he talked to Guy on the other end to confirm that he heard the voice as well.

Once Medic had finished Ray waited until he actually said so, he didn't want to get up and ruin the stitching or make things worse as he remained pretty still. Raymond wondered if Jack was still awake, and wondered how he would actually react to the news as well when he heard Tatiana's voice over the radio. He then started to think about Tiffany as well, and wondered if she was awake or asleep now like Amelia was or not. Raymond just started to wonder what else tomorrow would end up bringing them, and what their next move would actually be whenever they all regrouped together.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Arnco Mills Safehouse. (E10)
Skills: N/A

Riley tossed and turned ever so slightly as she tried to get as much sleep as she could, still the images of losing Chloe kept coming back to her. Then she opened her eyes once more as she could hear the static going off on the radio once more, then a few seconds a very familiar voice started to breakthrough somewhat. It was Tatiana's which made her smile slightly, Jack now had his happy ending even if she was at the other safehouse. Though she couldn't hear anything else over the radio, just the heavy amount of static which she could pick up anything else, before it went dead.

Riley rolled over onto her side slightly as she looked over towards Jack, and then Ashton as he went to address Jack who looked like who was now sound asleep at the moment. She wasn't sure if he would wake up when Ashton tried to or not, Riley then rolled back over onto her side and sighed slightly. Riley started to close her eyes once more, and started to fall asleep once more, still having the nightmare she wasn't really going to get much sleep. Riley simply just kept herself quiet and closed her eyes trying to get some rest in some kind of way at least.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Eden - Lower Lobby ---> Doors across from Fitness
Skills: Pistol, Stamina

If Beatrice had had medical training, she would have assisted Alex and Manny in stabilizing Thana. And while Thana seemed to be hanging on, Beatrice had to wonder how long that would last for. She looked to be losing a lot of blood. Gavin was out for the count and she couldn't do anything to change that. He made suicide plays in order to save others. This was the end result of that. "I'm going with her," Beatrice said simply to Alex. She had known the Old-Timer just slightly longer than the former Eden prisoner. "...If you can't save her, treat her with the honor she deserves," Beatrice added quietly, before she headed after Thalia.

She didn't know Thana, but she knew that if Thana couldn't be saved, leaving her to bleed out on the floor was cruel. She'd only just come back as a walker later on. A bullet in the brain would be a better death than that. And a permanent one, too. Of course, she had to contend it wasn't impossible for Thana to survive. She figured the odds were 50-50 on it. Even if Thana's injuries were minimal, it didn't mean she could move. And even if she could move, it didn't mean she could fight her way out like she'd need to in order to survive.

But if Thalia and Beatrice were able to take out the rest of Newnan, well, then she figured Thana's odds would increase. And as long as they hadn't cut off Eden's source, it would just come back again, making all of this pointless. "I've got your back," Beatrice told Thalia calmly. She didn't even blink as Thalia executed the man at the end of the hallway.

Jack Hudson

Location: Arnco Mills Safehouse (E10)
Skills: N/A

Jack jolted awake as he heard his name, his body sweating from the horrors of his nightmare. He looked around frantically before he focused on Ash, his heart stopping as he heard the news from him. There was an expression that one of the cops he used to work with - Babineaux - used to be fond of saying whenever someone brought him a break on a case - I could kiss you right now. And while Jack had never quite understood it before, he did in that moment. In a manic frenzy, Jack grinned widely and burst into tears, pulling Ash in for a hug and giving the man a quick kiss on the lips.

"Thank you, man. Really. Thank you for tellin' me that," he said, laughing and crying at the same time. He was doing his best to keep his voice down, in case any walkers were in the nearby area. But as much as his spirits had been crushed earlier, now they were soaring with hope. He'd find Tatiana - as soon as the sun rose, he'd head out Zebulon. He'd find Tatiana again. And this time, he was never going to leave her side - ever. He'd have her in his sights until he drew his last breath. He rubbed the back of his head, aware that he probably seemed more than a little unhinged at that moment but he didn't care.

Tiffany Lyle

Location: Arnco Mills
Skills: N/A

Tiffany shot up along with the others once the garbled message played over the radio. She could barely make it out from where she sat, but the voice sounded very familiar. Incredibly so. The others pieced it together just about the same time she did. It was Tatiana. However, as much as she wanted to go hug Jack and tell him she was happy Tatiana was alive, at least, she was also very doubtful. After all, they just experienced hallucinations. Granted, the chance they all would share an auditory hallucination was rare, she still had doubts.

But she couldn't help but smile. She stood up and walked over to Jack just as Ash relayed the good news. She threw her arms around him in a hug, "I knew she would be ok." It was all she could say. Really, they did hear her, albeit garbled. She was alive and out there and with a radio. They would find her. However, they would do so in the morning. She returned to her makeshift bed to relax before her watch came up. She already felt ten times better.

Eden

Location: Eden: Hallway near Fitness Doors
Skills: Survival, Botony

The shit was hitting the fan. Two had been killed. Lola over on the stairs on the way up and Gavin just a few feet down the hallway. Thana had been hit but it wasn't fatal. At least it wasn't at this time. Not now that the belt had been applied as a makeshift tourniquet. Thana screamed as it tightened down wanting to drive her good arm right into the man but she didn't. Her fingers curing around the fabric of her pants let and knuckles going white while he did his thing. Once it was set in place Thana finally breathed again and let out a gasp. Alexander had rushed off to get the bag from Gavin and came back with it while the other women were moving to keep things going. They couldn't stay there.

In-fact they had lingered long enough. Too long. That was made evident when more Edenites made their presence known. One coming around the corner and firing. He hit his mark, probably not as well as he would have liked but well enough. Forty cal bullet pierced right into Beatrices right thigh muscle. His second shot back fired and caused the gun to jam. He was exposed right then. Hearing the gun shot Thana looked over and cursed under her breath as she sat up. It was painful but this was no time or place for any of this shit. They had to move. She tried to get up but stumbled. Blood loss and pain was not making this easy but she managed to finally get to her feet and pick up her gun with her good hand.

"Do whatever you are doing quickly Doc, we're moving now," she said in a rough voice as the blood that had pooled out of her until the belt had been tightened dripped down her arm and off the tips of her fingers. Why a pressure bandage and sling hadn't been done was beyond her. This was no place for surgery. This was a war zone. If they stayed to fix her up, they all could die. Thana was having none of that. "Come on Doc, double time it."

Alexander Polawski

Location:Eden: upper corner of hallway east of Fitness Doors
Skills: Pistol, Suppression Tactics

Choose your battles wisely. That was a piece of advice that Alexander had tried to follow throughout his life, ever since it was first shoved up in his face by a red-faced drill sergeant hellbent on making the Chicago-teenager cry for his mother. And for all intents and purposes, it had been a good piece of advice. Even saved his and the squad's life a few times in the jungle, maybe. Knowing your comrades and your own capabilities was crucial in knowing if an engagement could be won or not. Same applied for an equally serious, but less deadly engagement with a woman you loved.

Alexander believed in both Thalia's and Beatrice's capabilities, though not equally. Thalia he'd seen take care of countless Walkers and Edenites since that very morning they met, all with the ease and determination of someone you could depend your life on. Even after her best friend had been gunned down in cold blood, she didn't stop. Perhaps it was because of just that immense emotional loss that she had gone off now to continue their mission, or that she was just that strong in the first place.

Beatrice he knew less about, but his belief in her was still strong. She had survived this far after all, and appeared to just as determined to go on ahead without them as Thalia had. Alexander looked back up at Beatrice as she told him she was going with Thalia, and gave a quick nod. "Alright, be careful." His eyes drifted back to Thana at her other comment, his head continuing the nodding from before. "I promise." He added as quietly as her, praying that it didn't need to come to that.

Choose your battles wisely. Know when you can or can't win. This time he feared they couldn't win. Alexander too heard the gunshot around the corner, and promptly got up on his feet just as Thana did. It was a miracle that she was standing, but then again the Navy were always stubborn like that. Alexander didn't take the time to say anyting to either Thana or Manny, and rushed around the corner. Words were pointless at this point, as he saw Beatrice having just been hit. Two dead and two wounded, the odds were continuing to rack up against them. Alexander got to the other corner and looked down the hallway at the shooter. He took aim, thankfully having the time to aim properly with the Edenite un-jamming the gun, and shot. Five rounds flew down that hallway, two of which found their mark and taking the man down.

"Angel! Get back here, now!" This was the last straw. They were going to die if they continued this attack, and the old veteran wasn't going to let that happen. They had to get Beatrice to cover and then everyone the hell out of dodge.

Amelia Payne

Location:Sharpsburg , Main st.(F11)
Skills: N/A

Amelia as if slowly woke up from a crazy dream. It was like that, since she was a child she'd often dream of crazy things such as jumping to the skies and it felt so very real, but it was in the end still just a pleasant dream that she woke from. She pulled herself up to a sitting position on the bed, pushing the blankets to the side and looked at the evil alarm clock that had woken her up with it's evil beeping. It showed 7:30 am. She smiled and moved away from the bed, going through her morning routine, wash teeth, face, get changed and so on until she was ready for the day, standing in the living room of the house of her parents.

The house was currently empty." They must be at work..." She mumbled to herself as she walked to the kitchen to pull some stuff from the fridge. Some mayo, ham, bread, tomatoes and cheeze... all the needed things for a tasty sandwich. She was in a great mood today, it was saturday! No highschool today for her. Her mother had to probably take care of paperwork or something at the school for a little while though since she mentioned that she'd be at the school this morning during dinner last night. Her father being on a much more open schedule of a gardener tended to work all week with bigger or smaller worktimes. Sometimes he had days free sometimes he wouldn't be able to get home the entire day. Today who knew.

Now that she had finished making that sandwich, she pulled a plate, put it there, cut it into two, added some ketchup and moved to the livingroom, turning on the tv to eat her breakfast while watching tv. She felt like watching Discovery channel right now.
