Time:Night
Location: The Harem
Interaction:@HeloNym @Alivefalling Barboda @Infinite Cosmos Tesoro @Potter Tigerlily
Equipment:Black coat with fur trim on the hood, dark-colored, plain male clothing, sword with unbreaking and return enchantments, strength enchanted gloves, 2 medium red potions, hygiene products, timeteller, wayfinder, transmission bracelet, a flask, standard backpack, and an ama pouch with 1800 amas.

The crew of the Harem had spent the afternoon giving Lizzie a funeral. They had lowered her into the sea respectfully. Helio had been distant from the others for an hour or so after that until they had been called together to take a poll on who would be the new captain. Nym was of course voted Captain then Tesoro the second mate. Helio then had requested they go in the direction of Roshmi, but he wasn't certain if Nym was going to uphold the request. So much time had passed that he worried it was too late anyway.

Helio had offered to take the watch from the crew's nest tonight since it was easiest for him to ascend. He stood up in it, leaning his arms on the ledge. The waters around them seemed to blend in with the blackness of the night. The moonlight shone on them, dimly lighting up their surroundings and the stars did twinkle above. It seemed to be a cloudless night. However, the ship seemed to be the only thing really lighting things up in their range of sight. He glanced down at the others and called down to them, "I can report that it is very dark and scary right now!"

...Failed Echo. Failed Lizzie. Possibly Faye, Bastian and Wumong too now... Was I even trying enough to fail? I gotta figure out something... For possibly the hundredth time tonight, he made another attempt to call Bastian on his transmission bracelet.

It failed immediately.

The Other Bandits

Time: Night
Location: Desert
Interactions: @hide on mana Kuroi, @dragonpiece Uzul

“We found ‘em! There they are!” The boisterous shout of a feline demihuman alerted Kuroi and Uzul to the presence of their attackers.

“This is supposed to be an AMBUSH!” An elven woman yelled in annoyance while summoning an orb of light in her left palm.

“Whatever, let’s kill them.” A blue dragonborn in black armor holding a large battle axe spoke closing in on the two.

A snake demihuman calmly joined, snapping a serraded whip. He paused to glare at the feline. ”I hope you die, you infantile waste of air.”He hissed at him. Nonetheless, his attention turned on the vulpine and he suddenly charged him. He snapped his whip forward in his direction, not wasting time.

A pale-skinned orc covered in blood snickered from the shadows creeping ever closer crawling on all fours, a mass of fast moving hair made from spiders sprawled down his back. “Yesss! Yesss! Your blood and flesh will make a fine meal for my children.”

Equipment:Outfit Xavier bought Pouch with amas, Lipstick, Mysterious bag of fun drugs

Pink petals fell in Yuka's vision as she stepped off the amora into the colorful plaza of the River Kingdom that seemed to light up the night so much that she almost forgot they were in the dark of nighttime. Even in the trees, the bright windows of multiple homes built into the branches could be seen if one were to look up. Fireflies and pixies alike both dotted her vision as they glided through the air. The street was cluttered with fairies going in and out of bars and shops. The sounds of sweet giggles and clinking glasses could be heard. The River Fairy Kingdom had always been one of her favorite places. Her gaze went up to the giant world tree nearby and she blew it a respectful kiss before turning on her companions.

She was dressed in the outfit that Xavier had bought her now. He had given it to her on the amora and she had immediately started to change into then and there without shame. Who knew humans had such a great sense of fashion! The tight hug of this outfit was ever so figure-flattering! Yuka put a hand on her hip, feeling confident as she grinned, her gaze finally locking on Koldar, "Princey! Where we going first?"

From the blacksmith to the inn. That was the plan, and Slick ensured that plan went along smoothly. The man would go along with whatever would keep him alive, especially after witnessing what might be the fate of any human that wasn’t careful.

The bold outlaw left the blacksmith’s shop after purchasing 30 steel bolts for 450 amas. It hadn’t been the deal he hoped for but he felt he was better equipped than some of the others. The prospect of wielding elemental magic lingered in the back of his thoughts. He was aware it was something he’d need to hone, but right now the only tangible solution in a tight situation was a few fired bolts or a good stabbing with his bowie knife.

When leaving the blacksmith, the group headed to the inn with Slick generally leading on account of his ability to see and having been to the spot previously. Leaf assisted as well, with his general knowledge of the city. The cheetah demi-human was mostly responsible for keeping Slick from taking “the more scenic route” which had been the outlaw’s excuse when taking any unnecessary turns.

Once at the inn, Slick noticed it was exactly as he remembered it… well almost. The tired gecko man was no longer working at the front, replaced by a smiling wide-eyed elven man. The others had purchased their rooms while Slick mosied over to the one he had shared with Kuroi. Once unpacked, he enjoyed another meal with the others and subtly joined in on how to plan out training with their magic. It wasn’t easy trying to think of a location for the humans to openly use their magic, and so Slick volunteered Leaf and himself to find some spots outside of town to serve as discreet campsites. It was during the alone time with Leaf that Slick mentioned helping free the lioness from Sturdy Stables.

“I reckon it’ll be easy.” Were one of his many assurances as they traveled from location to location until the pink orb in the sky was halfway beneath the horizon.

Returning to the inn yet again, Slick looked at Leaf before they’d reunite with the others.

“I’m thinkin’ this catknappin’s gonna be a two man job… If you’re pickin’ up what I’m puttin’ down. The others ain’t got a taste for this flavor of life.” He shrugged. “Then again, it’s your call.”

Lunch was definitely needed for Darius and Dante and it was apparent with how much they both scarfed down. The younger of the two brothers stole curious glances at the canine demi-human who offered to essentially be their safety net while they remained in Avalia. It wasn’t the worst deal. With how he continued to explain it at the table, the two pretty much had plenty of freedom until they did something that would surely get them killed. Darius would have preferred a more hands-on companion but beggars couldn’t be choosers.

“Menzai is here to help us, but we need more than just his type of help y’know?” Darius sighed. “We don’t have much to spend but I think we could use some sleep.”

At first, the Cheap Chambers was suggested but rooms were booked to hell due to Slime Day. Darius wondered where they could go to get a nap, and thats when Dante pointed to the beach. Darius thought his brother was kidding before Dante began to go on about sand being a good combination of soft and firm. All they needed was shade which was somewhat provided by a cluster of palm trees close to the Inn by the Sea. The group would likely be confused for homeless vagrants by the natives of this world but some sleep was needed. Oh yeah, and it also helped that this side of the beach wasn’t littered with slime.

It took some time, but Darius drifted off to dreamland, sleeping outside yet again.

“Wake up!” Dante’s loud voice was enough to wake him from his slumber with a low groan. The once sunlit beach was not shrouded in the darkness of night. The two moons above provided enough light for Darius to make out Dante and Menzai.

“It’s wake up Sir Blackbourn to you, Major Payne.” Darius chuckled as he sat up and stretched out his arms. “That was way better than sleeping in the forest. Still could use an actual bed but it is what it is, right?” He stood up and brushed sand from his clothes. “What should we get first? And Menzai you are welcome to give us some insight.” Darius didn’t care if Menzai was meant to be a fly on the wall, he’d pull the guy in whenever possible.

Mother… my time here has been… ehhh… it has been fruitful, yes. More and more of these creatures accept our eventual conquest… and my violence. My brethren… The sins… I hate them… I know why you sent those fools and… I will kill… No… Yes! I will kill their ability to impress you… Yes, mother, I shall… I will amass more followers. I spread more violence. Gnash, shred, peel, tear… I will… I will show them all what violence is. No one will be a stranger to it. I promise mother. I promise… I promise…

This was one of the many mutterings from Vrexen that were mostly too low and incoherent to pay any attention to. During their travel, the red-faced demon kept to himself whenever he wasn’t being directly addressed. Anything to keep himself sane. Sleep usually kept his lust down, and so that’s what he did toward the tail end of their journey to River Port.

“Darkness…” His eyes shot open and he peered up to the sky to find the absence of the sun that had tortured him on the way to Aldrakh. Vrexen wore a toothy grin towards the two moons. “Goooood.” He simply commented.

“Agreed. You are no fun in the sun, my friend.”
Astra commented with a grin.

“I am not your friend you fool!”

Well fuck you too.

Moments later…

Astra strode across the boardwalk with a slight grin on her face as she looked at the other races the group passed. She looked in Maeryn’s direction with every murmur that escaped him. Vrexen on the other hand just took in the scenery, finding this location to appear much different from those he had traveled to previously. The group took a brief pause as Maeryn removed his backpack before digging through it. A low growl escaped Vrexen from the sudden holdup. Once the dark elf hunter popped up with a peculiar ring, Astra couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Now that’s probably the second-worst proposal I think I’ve gotten. But seriously, do y-”

"Nobody likes you."

“Tch! You say that as if orcs are welcomed everywhere, you dwarf-fodder!” Astra hurled an unneeded insult back. Her scowl towards the towering orc shifted to Maeryn who looked the least comfortable she’d seen him so far. “Calm down, handsome. The war isn’t here yet. See?” She pointed at the children running around with small mallets in hand. “Can’t believe I missed Slime Day… Anyway, I’ll get the rings I purchased in Aldrakh so we can disguise the nudists.” Astra reach into her bag to grab two rings, one being many sizes larger than the other.

“Disguise?” Vrexen questioned while taking a step toward Astra.

“Yeah, it’s something to keep-”

“Hand it over! I shall only use it to stalk my prey.” Vrexen snatched a large gold ring from Astra before slipping it onto one of his clawed fingers. Astra reached forward and turned the ring. A brief flash converted his appearance to that of a large red-scaled lizard demi-human. Vrexen looked upon his new appearance with a snarl, appearing unsure if he favored his faux appearance. “I am no stranger to new forms. Violence will be delivered all the same”

“If you like it, I love it.” Astra gave Vrexen a wink before facing Myra with a ring. “Now, I got yours set to give you something to cover you up. Clothes that don’t get in the way.” Astra would place the ring on Myra’s finger and turn it if she let her.

Isolde Ryder

The last 48 hours had been nothing short of a fever dream for Isolde.

She was just been leaning against a muggy, brick building with a tired feeling over her eyes, staring out at the cloudy day wondering how many more hours of her dead-end, shitty job she would have to crank out. It was just another day in Rhode Island for her; Go to work, grind at nothing for eight and a half hours, go home, study a bunch of useless books for useless classes in pursuit of a useless associates degree, and get bitched at for the rest of the day by a mother who was either drunk, running around manic, or both. Everything was going as expected in her life, even if it had ran into a corner she saw no way of getting out of. That was before the rift opened underneath her feet and she fell through a hole between worlds.

It started with a spark in the ground, and became a gaping hole through space that she tumbled through. The next thing Isolde saw was green. Lots, and lots of green, and tea blue energy tearing off of her skin like it was…lightning. She hit the ground in Avalia not knowing what happened, and when she looked around, she was in the forest south of Aldrakh. Not that she knew this of course, after all, who would understand this? It was nothing but open, lush forest for miles and the sounds of rustling branches getting fainter and fainter.

Isolde looked up into the sky, and saw no indication of a hole she fell through, but what really distracted her was the crackle of thunder in the palms of her hands. The sudden isolation and utter whiplash from being unknowingly dropped in another reality was completely dashed as she stared intently into the blue glow that snakes off into open air from her fingertips. Sparks danced out of her hands and enthralled her in the sensation. It felt like nothing was real. Maybe she was hallucinating, or maybe she was just asleep.

And then the owlbear showed up.

Isolde recalled turning around and seeing a bear- no, an owl, no, both. It had the body of a bear, but the face of an owl. That was when she this was real. The creature reared up and let out a guttural noise that she didn’t think either an owl or a bear could make, and two more of its kind stomped up like some kind of pack. One of them made a swing at her with its paw…or its talons. The only thing Isolde recalled was throwing her hands up in her face as the owlbear was blasted with the same blue light. She ran for dear life.

The creatures followed.

Isolde spent at least three hours running through a forest she never laid eyes on blasting creatures she never laid eyes on with a power she never knew existed. The rest of that day consisted of wandering through the forest and occasionally blasting a tree to determine if she was losing her mind and scaring off the occasional wolf or other strange animal as she tried to figure out just where in the name of god she was. She also got rammed through the side by a rather uncouth burstag, but that was neither here nor there. It was a wonder she didn’t break a rib before she reflexively turned half of its face to ash.

It smelled horrible.

Everything after that was nothing short of chaos. Wandering through the forest not knowing where she was, drenched in sweat, worn to hell and back, and trying to find something resembling normalcy. It was all like one been blur to Isolde. When she finally found River Port, she realized that she was awake and, in no uncertain terms, shit out of luck. Humans with the bodies of animals everywhere, the occasional human with a human body, and elves? Isolde’s head had been spinning. Just from talking to the occasional person she passed by, she got some lay of the place, learned its name and why she got dropped in, but not what the hell she was doing here.

The cool breeze of the foreign ocean calmed her in the dim light of the twin moons orbiting this world. It was beautiful, but so alien, ironically so considering the fact that her hands were crackling with lightning in the waning light setting over the sea. Isolde was exhausted, she was weary, and in a world she didn’t not call home. Yet, the glow of her hands felt right.

”Where am I…”

It was readily apparent that the two brothers were quite hungry with the way they ate. Seeing as how they had no qualms with his offer and conditions and chose to say nothing else to not disturb their meal, instead turning his attention to the restaurant to keep a watchful eye.

When finished the three exited the building as Darius comment about possibly needing more help than the kind he was giving might be needed caught his attention but otherwise said nothing regarding it. As like he said; outside an actual need of his aid he would strictly be an observer though there was also the lack of knowledge on what exactly the brothers goal were. This made offering any advice difficult and ill-advised as he may suggest something to influence them in the wrong direction.

Besides, the fact the latest discussion was about finding a place to sleep was something he was not needed for considering that he didn't have a single coin to his name. Menzai didn't even know what kind of currency was even used outside his isolated village.

Eventually they had come to the decision of sleeping at the beach; an interesting result but not one that bothered him in the slightest as the wolf was very well used to sleeping outdoors.

With a respectful bow to the brothers to show he understood and followed from a short distance. Menzai knew not to stick to close as the two probably did not quite trust him yet, plus offered a better view to observe the pair. Taking in their mannerism, way they moved and interacted along with their thought process on how they would act and make decisions.

He could tell already that he would be learning a plethora of things regarding humans from Darius and Dante leaving him intrigued for the adventure that awaited them.

Upon reaching the beach they had found an outropping of palm trees that offered plenty of shade making for an optimal place to sleep with the cool and soft sand beneath his bare feet making for a somewhat comforting bed. He, however, had moved to jump up and climb the thickest tree until he was sitting crouched atop the tree after bading them to rest well, preferring a vantage point that offered a wide view to keep watch for any dangerous individuals.

Hours passed well into nighttime with nothing eventual occurring when Dante had awoken who would move to wake his brother shortly after. His voice flicked upon hearing their voices signaling his watch for the time being had ended prompting him to jump down from the tree where he landed gracefully with nary a sound made save for the tiniest crunch against the sand. Not long after, Darius spoke causing him to turn his head in his direction while folding his arms together within the sleeves.

"Hm, insight. There are a number of the sort I may be able to give, but what I suggest depends on what your current goals are. If it is supplies needed I can offer my skills in tracking and hunting seeing as I unfortunately lack any funding. Or if knowledge of the world is what you seek then I suggest a library or safety then perhaps my.." Trailing off there for it was then that his nose picked up the scent of another human, this one female.

How peculiar to encounter a third human already so soon after leaving his village though what was especially peculiar was the strong scent of sweat and...the faint unpleasant smell of charred fur and meat lingering around this person. A slight curious tilt of the head as his gaze shifted from the brothers to roam over the beach until he saw the human female. A quick glance of his sharp eyes gleaned from her posture looked to be exhausted which led credence to why the scent of sweat was so prevalent though offered no explanation for strange charred scents. From this, he surmised that the woman had unfortunately found herself alone in the forest where she was left to flee and fend for herself; a miracle she was able to make it to this town alone.

After musing silently to himself for a brief moment did, he turn his attention back to the brothers." Before deciding on any such destination. I might inquire to help the human female over there." Motioning towards said individual with his clawed left hand." She looks to be tired and frightened so it may be prudent and safer for her to be approached by something she knows which would be the two of you while I remain here..at least for the time being." He peered back over at the woman; able to tell that his presence might frighten the woman who was likely already in such a distraught and stressed state and had no desire to risk worsening her situation any more.

Equipment: 1 hunting knife, a flask of alcohol, a backpack, small tent, blanket, waterskin, rope, fire starting kit, lightmaker, cooking pot, a bar of soap, some drugs; skaula (8 grams) and zemak (a bit less than an ounce), rolling papers, and 191 amas.

Bowyn found their new traveling companions acceptable and was proud of Rue for having chosen so well. One only had to glance at the dragonborn to see he was a clear warrior, and Kharne’s companion, Ishmael, carried himself similarly, another obvious warrior. There was the obvious wild card, the girl who chose to sit on the roof, and the Raven the human. He now understood Raven’s strange stance on the war, she wasn’t of this world and this war was likely not a responsibility she wished to bear. He could understand this, and the other two being warriors likely would not hesitate to fight when needed. It was only the lone wild card he worried about.

So Bowyn sat on the floor, half-listening as Rue spoke, mostly just enjoying the sound of her voice, as he methodically broke up some of the zemak he carried with him. He looked up briefly after Rue had introduced herself and Moony.

“Bowyn, winter fairy,” he said introducing himself before rolling the broken-up zemak cradled in a rolling paper between his fingers. He worked carefully, gently rolling the zemak and paper until the shape was right and licking the edge to seal it. “Anyone know where we’re heading next or are we all at the whims of the elven princess?” While his question was directed at anyone he mainly looked at Kharne as asked, the dragonborn giving off a clear aura of authority.

“It’s just Orias, feel free to drop the title.” He corrected Yuka once again, the use of a title only made him more uncomfortable even if Yuka meant it only in mockery. “You’ve made it clear you think I’m lying, fair enough I’ve told many a lie, and it is not you that I need to convince. But in front of the fae here, I only ask you to play along, we need them to believe me if we are to have a hope of winning this war and freeing Roshmi City.” While his words were blunt he spoke them calmly, pausing to think over her question. He looked around the River Fairy Kingdom, it was a slight relief to see this place still untouched by war, even though he doubted it would remain that way. For now, they were safe here.

“We should seek an audience with the Millinia family,” Was his immediate first thought despite the low growl in his stomach and the exhaustion the rest of his body felt. The hour was late, he wasn’t sure trying to meet with the fairy royals so late in the evening would start the meeting on the right note. More than that he was still unsure of what he would say to them, and he was sure his successful meeting with Augus had been a stroke of dumb luck that would be difficult to repeat. “But it might go better in the morning, once we have rested.” He added. That might be better, it would give him some more time to think over what to say, rehearse it, and sound more polished. Maybe even run it by Yuka first, knowing she’d be the real test to see how convincing he sounded.

Location: Iron Hold --> River Port

The moon shone upon the craggy mountainside of Iron Hold as Bron Emberguard began to prepare his Amora for take-off, his mind kept turning back to the harrowing images broadcasted two days ago from the Dark Elves and their sickening actions. Having spent years in the Wilds and fighting, Bron considered himself not easy to shake but he couldn't stop thinking about it. A declaration of war punctuated by one of the most cowardly acts so brazenly displayed for all to see. It made his stomach turn thinking about it as the Dwarf's fists tightened around the controls of the aircraft while he prepared to take-off. With information provided by Arn Thorson, the Ranger finally had a heading and planned to set off to River Port as fast as possible. There was also a report about a red creature attacking the border guard... which was particularly worrying, but Bron had orders from the King himself.

The Dwarves were to offer a hand to the Light Elves and planned to send out their Rangers first before any kind of official declaration, at least as far as Bron was told. Specifically, he was being sent to meet with Princess Annya and provide his services as a wayfinder and warrior. Although, it was secretly his hope that he could help bring those wretched Dark Elves down and make them taste the steel of his axes. For Avalia, for Prince Khuldral and for the King. As the propellers of the Amora spun to life, Bron tried to clear his mind and focus on the task ahead. Justice could wait.

Present time...

Bron soared through the skies in his amora, the Ranger's crest emblazoned on the side as he surveyed the scenery below with his telescope. He touched down briefly before to try and get some rest but he was determined to get to River Port as soon as possible. The quicker he could make contact with Princess Annya and her retinue, the quicker he could formulate a plan in his head. The Wayfinder hadn't noticed anything too unusual through his telescope, which gave him a settling sense of content as River Port pulled into view. Bron was, admittedly, not fond of the idea of hanging around such a busy sea town but it was a necessary sacrifice he would have to put up with. Soon enough, it was time to land and Bron would have to suck up this feeling on the double.

Bron manoeuvred his transport to the designated landing site for River Port and checked it in with the Dockmaster before securing it, citing he was just visiting instead of his true reason. His axes remained fastened to his belt as he marched through the Port's streets and alleys. It probably seemed unusual for a Dwarf to be just arriving this far from the Mountains, especially in the night, but Bron would simply shrug off any odd looks he'd get. Fortunately for him, the best place to get information would be a tavern or bar of some kind and there just so happened to be one right across from the site.

The redheaded Dwarf made his way up to the doors of the Tipsy Tavern and made his way through. The loud noises and raucous behaviour wasn't an unusual sight for him. Afterall, he had grown up with some of the best partiers in all of Avalia, though it still wasn't quite his scene. Regardless, he looked around and aimed to find anyone that matched Arn's description of Annya or her company in such a busy environment.

Battle in the Desert BGM

The vulpine's ears perked up as he heard the idiotic feline demihuman call out from behind him. Letting out a sigh, he let his foxy friend slide into his satchel before dropping it on the ground next the Uzul. Turning to meet their pursuers, Kuroi drew two of his weapons and readied himself for combat. In his right hand he held a razor sharp metal fan, whereas in his left, he held a throwing knife tightly. Witnessing the quick bickering among the five, he did not react until a whip was lashed out at him.

"Uzul! Take a couple of them and I'll take the rest!" He exclaimed as he spun into the whip that came flying at him.

Angling his fan perfectly, Kuroi deflected the whip coming straight at him, leaving him unharmed. Upon finishing his rotation, he instantly threw out one of his knives at the snake demihuman whom had attacked him. Quickly peering at the other four attackers, Kuroi began to backpedal away from them, not letting any of them get any more advantages on him and Uzul. As soon as he saw the pale orc rushing at them on all fours, Kuroi jumped back and pulled out another throwing knife.

"...This is going to be interesting...five fighters...each weak on their own lest they'd be able to take me. Let's see what you all got..." pondered Kuroi aloud before scoffing.

Ahh, what wonderful atmosphere. And after a lovely display on the ride over, too. Poor Xavier might have a heart attack. The dread that had become so heavy in the air seemed so distant, but they were sure it would catch up. Surely, these fairies wouldn't be impervious to the previous... "Announcements." But, somehow, the festive atmosphere remained. Perhaps that was owed to the lack of a brewing rebellion in the face of a cowardly king. It was interesting to consider what would become of that powder keg... If the dark elves moved into fortify their hold on the city, would the citizens be able to resist? It was hard to believe in that. Hopefully, the tavern owner would be ok. They should have told him to flee.

They felt invigorated already, but they also had to be careful. Magically to inclined beings might be able to sniff them out, but... Their diet isn't the usual feasting on the vital forces or mental energy of a prey target. They found a good balance of give and take, like the exchange of breath between plants and animals. Would it alter their "scent"? Does anyone even know what a demon would smell like? That... Was a very good question.

Perhaps the fairies might be more receptive to their presence than the general. It would still be a hard sell. But, they could offer valuable information.

"Rest? But the night has only just begun! Aaah, the air is so crisp and the melody of voices is as beautiful as the Tree of the World in the distance. I simply must mingle. Yuka, would you care to join me in prowling the city, after we locate our accomodations?"

Alaia had been in River Port many times before. The surrounding forest was the best hunting ground for unlucky travelers and those who liked to take on bounties given on the board. She was excited to be back. “Oh, I love River Port!” Alaia announced, fluttering her wings in excitement. She had been distracted as Maeryn had been speaking and had flown up high to get a better view. The beach was still crowded with parents and children sitting in the sand even at night. Alaia thought how fun it would be to cover the beach with their blood and bodies. Alaia placed the ring on her finger transforming her appearance into a beautiful blonde-haired fairy and flew back down towards Maeryn. “How do I look? Am I pretty?” She twirled before him with a big smile. She turned to Vrexen who now looked like a lizard demi-human. “Would you like to go for a walk with me, Mr.Vrexen? I promise it will be worth it! Please?”

Dante & Darius

Location: Beach of River Port
Time: Night
Interactions: Menzai @samreaper, Isolde @Blizz

Dante looked at Darius, “I am sorry Sir bitch boy.” He laughed at his own words. Dante then turned over to Menzai. “We are gonna need a lot of stuff if you plan on helping us, you need to have a lot more interaction with us.” He told Menzai.

“Hey! The guy agreed to be our watchdog chaperone guardian, not our leader. Ain’t that your job thick skull or does Sir Blackbourn need to take the reins.” Darius interjected.

“You couldn’t lead with your head in your ass all the time.”

“Say the guy who got us lost with a whole map in his hand!”

“Listen I never got us lost. You stepped on a trap, either way, we got a human over there so let’s go.”Dante said before he walked over to Isolde.

“Wait wha..?” Darius looked in Isolde’s direction, perplexed at her being there on the beach with them. Another human? Darius followed behind his brother completely dropping the argument that had just occurred. “Bruh… you see that?” Darius’ keen eyes caught the sparks dancing across her hands.

“Yeah, I see that.” Dante replied stepping a bit closer so he could speak quieter to the girl.

“Yo, are you okay? You really shouldn’t do that you can get killed or hunted if you openly use magic like that.” Dante said in a calm and cautious tone not wanting to startle her.

“Is it wrong that I kinda wanna know how she’s pulling that off?” Darius whispered behind his brother. “Yeah, are you okay?” He echoed.

Isolde Ryder

Time: Night
Location: River Port Beach
Interactions: Dante @Alivefalling, Darius @funnyguy
Equipment: Clothes

The second day was growing shorter and Isolde still didn’t rightly know whatsoever what she was doing here. She spent a while on the beach, taking some semblance of peace in the beauty of the setting sun over the foreign ocean. The brief respite of peace she had was spent taking her mind off of things by trying to understand the lightning she could call from her hands. Earlier, as she ran through the forests like hell was on her heels, the storm she had her hands wrapped around was dancing around her as if she had full control over all the power she didn’t know she had yet. Now, all she was able to do was push it out into the open air and hide it if she wanted. Sparks danced through her fingers and back. Isolde half-heartedly weaved the electricity into strands and fizzled them without really understanding how.

Teal-blue light poured from the lightning and lit the sand up around her, enough that people- humans- noticed her. They called her name, and she almost jumped back given how on edge she had been lately. Her lightning was putting her at risk of being…hunted? Killed? Almost like she lost focus, the crackling lightning faded when she turned and saw the person who walked up to her. He was a human, and he had another human companion not far from him…Was that a person with dog ears?

”Killed? I- What?” Granted, Isolde had been almost killed by four different animals on the way here. ”I don’t know what’s happening. I fell through the ground, then I’m getting chased by…something that looks bears and now this-“ She gestured to everything around her. ”Where are we? What’s going on? How- how did I even get here?” She expected the guy to actually know something considering he didn’t have horns or goat legs or something else humans didn’t have.

Menzai Isanami

Time: Morning

Location: River Port beach

Interactions:
Mentions: Isolde @Blizz Dante, Darius @Alivefalling @FunnyGuy

Equipment: White Haori, Gauravian luck charm bracelet

Menzai chose to hang back and keep his distance which has proven to be the proper choice. As the signs of sparks emanating from the woman's body showed the capabilities of her inherit magic of which she seemed to have little control over. It was likely tied to her emotions and in her current state, any more stressful experience may cause an unfortunate incident and damages. And his presence would very likely exacerbate the situation.

So for now the wolf left it to the brothers to try and calm the female and explain the situation to her. Though a part of him felt like even these two might not be the proper people to do so after having witness their childish bickering. and as such, Menzai kept himself alert and ready to intervene if Isolde showed any signs of losing control.

Time: Night
Location: River Port
Interactions: Astra and Vrexen @FunnyGuy, Alaia @Alivefalling and Maeryn @princess

While Myra wasn't exactly thrilled in getting into a boat again, thanks to how bad she felt during the previous trip, she soon found out that it wasn't as bad as the first time. Be it thanks to the hints Astra gave her before, because she tried her best to stay still instead of keeping moving around or because her body was a bit more accustomed to it than before, the trip wasn't nearly as bad for Myra as she thought it would be. Before she knew it, they were already arriving on the docks after a short trip down the canal.

Just as the town before, Myra's senses were instantly overwhelmed with smells and noises. From the voices of the many people of many races, coming and going to the smells of food, fish and other substances Myra wasn't exactly familiar with, she took a bit to take in so much information.
Myra was quick to notice that the smells from this city, while also very intense for her senses, was almost completely different from the previous one, unique enough for her to distinguish them clearly by the smell.

Even though Myra was still distracted, the moment Maeryn mentioned food, she immediately turned towards him. She still remembered of the tasty meat that Astra bought her with some shinies a few days ago and how tasty it was. Were they going to eat meat as tasty as that one? Or would it be different, since it was a different city, with different smells?

Much to Myra's dismay though, Maeryn quickly dismissed that idea, saying something about disguising them as he kneeled down and started rummaging through his backpack. Being familiar with the word 'disguise' Myra immediately showed her discontentment as she looked to Astra, remembering how annoying it was to wear clothes.

Fortunately, what Maeryn pulled out of his backpack weren't clothes, but a small shiny metal circle, the ones people normally used around their fingers. Confused, Myra looked at Maeryn and then to Astra, not knowing how a single small metal band would be able to disguise them. That was until Vrexen and Alaia put it on their fingers, completely transforming their looks.

Amazed, Myra walked around Vrexen and Alaia. If it wasn't for their smell and their voices, she would've never imagined they were the same people Myra knew, especially since both of them had changed so much. After a few sniffs and a small pull at Vrexen's tail, just to be sure that he did not 'turn' into a different person and was still himself, Myra finally was confident enough about the strange ring to let Astra put it on her finger. After all, if it worked like Myra thought it did, only 'fooling' her eyes and not turning her into someone else, it definitely would be better than clothes.

Unlike Vrexen and Alaia's rings, which transformed them into almost completely different people, Myra's ring made only small changes in her appearance, like giving her a set of common, traveling clothes, making her tail appear to be a bit shorter than it actually was and slightly changing her skin, making it appear like it's covered in scales.

All in all, Myra was still a very peculiar sight, but she looked much more like an albino, lizard demi-human than a demon.

Much to Myra's surprise though, despite how annoying those clothes seemed to be, Myra didn't feel anything different. Despite how she looked right now, not only could she move like she always did, but she didn't feel a single change on how she usually felt. Astra really wasn't lying when she said that those were 'clothes that didn't get in the way'.

Happy, Myra gave a small twirl, looking at her new 'image' before she looked at Astra and Vrexen. It didn't take much for them to notice that she was felt much better with the ring than she did when Astra forced her to wear 'clothes'.

Dante & Darius

Location: Beach of River Port
Time: Night

Dante waited for the girl to finish speaking. “Yeah, from what we were told this place is called Avalia. We were summoned by people who call themselves light elves. They open rifts with magic that bring humans from Earth. If you didn’t see anyone around when you arrived they must have been killed by whatever bear creatures you were chased by. They brought us here telling us that our magic is the only way to end the war with the dark elves and demons. Apparently, there are five types of magic fire, earth, water, air, and lightning. It appears that you have lightning from what I have seen.”

“Which is dope by the way.” Darius briefly commented in between Dante’s explanation.

“My brother and I have yet to find out ours though.” Dante finished his speech looking toward the girl. “Wait, I guess we should introduce ourselves. My name is Dante Blackbourn.”

“There you go! You’re being a normal guy for once and introducing yourself. I’m almost proud.” Darius teased with a chuckle. “Name’s Darius, but you can call me Sir Blackbourn. Oh, and that guy over there is our chaperone, Menzai. He just watches until things get ugly.” Darius pointed back at the canine demi-human with his thumb.

Time: Night
Location: Desert
Interactions: Nuallán @13org, Bandits @Alivefalling
Equipment: A dagger, fake elf ears, a ring of disguise, and a bag full of supplies

The chilly desert air blew past Jomari's face as he and Nuallán rode his desert wave to search for the kidnapped princesses. For women of their age, status, and power, one would think they would at least know how to defend themselves especially when they're out of the comfort of their luxurious kingdoms. He glanced at Nuallán and noticed he was still reeling with anger towards those that kidnapped the two. He's also probably angry at himself as well. Jomari couldn't blame him, he would be furious at himself if he was that stupid too.

His thoughts were interrupted when someone roared and something came bursting out of the sand before them. "Ah!" Jomari yelled in surprise and his sand wave dissipated, leaving the two of them surrounded by a weird assortment of demi-human bandits. It wasn't the first time he was surrounded by a group of ugly people with the intent to kill him.

"Ugh, as if I had a choice..." He grumbled in annoyance in reply to what Nuallán said. The scorpion man did seem the most dangerous out of the group, but he was more concerned about the bird lady with the long-ranged weapon. Jomari wouldn't know if the desert sand could reach her if she flew high enough. He even thought that Nuallán was sort of the pacifist type but Jomari guessed killing was allowed as long as it had something to do with his beloved princess.

"I did not come here just to be killed by a bunch of ugly nobodies!" Jomari shouted back at the bandits. With the aid of his newfound power, he easily slid against the sand and narrowly missed getting impaled on the chest by the ibis demi-human. He countered by stretching his hand out to throw a big chunk of sand in front of him at her.
