"You know who I am." Every student and faculty member, whether they want to or not, knows who Naomi Davis is. Even those who are newly transferred or freshmen will know within their first week, if not their first day, who Naomi Davis is. Naomi is, in no small terms, the royalty of BHHS - there must always be a queen bee in the hive and a legion of workers catering to their whim. Naomi is the latest in line and while some might hope that the days of mean girl, elitist rich snobby queen types went out the door...that hope was quickly dashed when Naomi, shortly after truly being handed the torch from the last queen, audibly berated a new student for daring to sit at the Queen's Table in the cafeteria. She's mellowed since then. Somewhat. If you're in Naomi's court, you're treated well. If you're not in her court, she'll likely not care enough about you to give you much notice. If you're opposed to her? Well, may god have mercy on your soul because in the halls of BHHS the only god worth praying to is Naomi. Of course, she wouldn't be an effective queen if she was publicly rude and cruel - all the best royals keep that sort of thing in private chambers for a reason - but what she is is quite manipulative and gifted at oration. Naomi has a reputation of being someone who can cut you down to size while making it seem like she's being complimentary, and you wouldn't even know it until later when the wound opens. Like a samurai who ends a duel and their opponent is smiling right until blood bursts from their chest.

A good portion of her reputation and power comes from her father, Elijah Davis, who was recently cited in Forbes as being, quote, "the most successful African American in the film industry since Tyler Perry". Elijah Davis' net worth was in the range of a billion thanks to him smoothly navigating the cutthroat world of film and media production. Elijah Davis was quoted as saying "MeToo and the ousting of Weinstein was the greatest thing that ever happened to me" as it allowed him to use the power vacuum to his advantage. Naomi is not above using the influence of her father to great effect, such as sweetly telling the numerous aspiring actors and actresses of BHHS that "I could put in a good word with my father...he practically runs Hollywood, you know. A lot of doors can be opened, and I do so hate to have to...shut them.". There's an unspoken law around Naomi that those who are in her good graces get preferential treatment. In her junior year she used said influence to send athletes to the Super Bowl, some theater kids to the Tony's, and students who annoyed her on a six hour bus ride disguised as a field trip to Vegas; instead it was a six hour trip to Death Valley and back.

Naomi maintains a great rapport with the faculty and principal thanks in no small part to her father's monetary contributions to fund raisers as well as Naomi having a habit of hearing good ideas from students and presenting them to the faculty as if they were her own ideas. And if someone protests that their idea was stolen...well..."How did that work out for the Winklevoss twins?" The smart ones know Naomi enough to know not to protest; at least then they might still get invited to the good parties.

Everyone in BHHS knows Naomi. The question is if they know enough to stay off her shit list.

Every queen at BHHS faces the issue of legacy. They want to leave behind a legacy that future students speak about in addition to finding someone to carry on the crown, so to speak. Naomi realizes her time at the top is running out but she feels as if she hasn't accomplished anything other than proving that nepotism is great if it works for you. She doesn't want to wake up the day after graduation and wonder if she has friends or just sycophants. Despite her reputation, Naomi does want the best for the school which is why she so strongly rallies against those she thinks are 'tarnishing' the reputation. To that end, her major dilemma is how can she make her last year impactful while also ensuring the personal relationships she has are genuine. What does it mean to be queen of BHHS? Heavy is the head that wears the crown. She just hopes she isn't beheded before the end of the year.

Naomi doesn't set fashion trends but she does keep track of what is in fashion. Appearance matters and anyone who says otherwise is lying and probably wears the same hooded sweatshirt to school every day and the same shirt all weekend. In school, she wears designer clothes from Valentino or YSL or Mincy Coture or even high casual brands purchased from The Mermaid's Closet. Casually on weekends she'll dress down a bit, jeans and sneakers, the kind of thing that reminds people that even the elite can look normal.

Not to show off, but Naomi arrives in a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the height of luxury sedans. It was a sweet sixteen present and that sweet sixteen party was...next level. She is rarely ever seen without her $4,000 Chanel leather handbag. Her whole life is in that bag.

Off the books helps operate Glitter City Roller Palace. She was involved in the rennovation under the guise of 'philantrophy' for college applications. As she is not yet technically allowed to own a business legally, her name is off the ledger. But it is her baby.

While not technically in any clubs, Naomi is a social butterfly and makes appearances at school events and has her fingers and toes and eyes around the building. She wants to be on student council, but is considering letting members of her court handle that.

When Dani first got to BHHS, the faculty seemed to give her more of a reputation than she did; of course only the faculty and her family knew about her parents and her unfortunate situation so it was understandable. But it quickly became apparent that Dani was more than able to garner a reputation on her own. As one of the infamous Jones sisters, DJ might come off as normal in comparison to, say, JJ, but that's only because Dani manages to keep her...eccentricities contained to platforms where she can express them. To people who don't know DJ (or who don't live with her) she comes off as...fairly normal, if a bit on the overly sarcastic side, but over the years DJ has been letting her true self shine through. Now, after a rather impressive prank that landed her detention for the rest of her junior year (fortunately, only a couple months at that point), people are starting to finally realize that other than her strange fascination with movies and making the morning show into something cinematic, DJ is kind of a prankster. It was only a matter of time before DJ proved that just because she was adopted in, under terrible circumstances, that she's still a Jones Sister through and through.

And there's no better current student in BHHS to come to if you need something filmed. So says DJ, anyway.

DJ will be 18 soon and while she doesn't expect to be removed from the care of the foster system - especially because she was adopted within her own family - but she feels like she owes it to her stepmom and aunt to give back in some capacity. But more immediately she's worried that the mental health issues that destroyed her biological parents is hereditary and if so what that means for her. She doesn't want to end up like her mom but that worry lingers at the back of her mind. Is that why she finds solace in pranking? Not really, that's just good humor. DJ is in a rare position where she knows what she wants to do in life but is worried that her own potential hereditary hangups might get in the way.

The most important part of Dani's outfit is that she always, always wears a heeled ankle boot to the point where she'll wear them even if she's in formal clothing. She has a fascination with plad and denim, but never at the same time because that's just...a massive faux pas. Fashion was never really her interest, but in addition to her ankle boots her preferred style is "anything sleeveless". She thinks her arms are her best feature. She might have a point.

If she could get away with carrying a professional film camera around, she would, but as it stands she instead brings a handheld Lumix with her. Just in case. She has a yellow vespa that she drives to and from school. Why a yellow vespa? Because ride on shooting star.

Dani has been part of the A/V crew since freshman year. She works on The Morning Show, the BHHS morning announcements program, as both an on air and behind the scenes talent. Students know when Dani is behind the camera because it actually moves and uses different techniques other than the flat news-desk style presentation that it normally has. Some people find her techniques annoying, others appreciate the attempt to jazz it up. When on-air she tends to play the sarcastic co-host. Otherwise she can be found after school in a diner eating hashbrowns and bacon cheeseburgers with a fried egg and a vanilla coke. No ice.

Was adopted by Jocelyn Jones after DJ's mother, who was bipolar, took her own life and DJ's father, sinking into a deep, depressive state because of it, was deemed unfit to care for a then barely 10 year old DJ. Her father is the brother of Jocelyn Jones, making the Jones sisters consist of PJ, JJ, and sister-cousin DJ. Later in life, Addie would be the fourth Jones sister via marriage.

There was a time when Amy Kwon's name was spoken of the way musicians sing about their unrequited loves. She was popular without being part of the black hole that is Naomi's regime; she went to parties, had to turn down offers to go to dances and on dates just because of the sheer amount of them, and she got decent grades to boot. It was almost sickening how perfect Amy Kwon seemed to be; even without being in the queen bee's court, Amy Kwon was in the upper echelon simply by virtue of being popular, attractive, and above all kind. She was basically a precious princess.

That Amy Kwon doesn't exist anymore.

Near the end of junior year, Amy Kwon lost the thing most important to a popular student: their reputation. It started with a text. A simple link to a website. The website contained a gallery of Amy Kwon in compromosing and controversial positions and situations. There were audio files of private conversations - she swears they were doctored as much as the videos and distorted narration from the one who put the hit piece together. The information spread throughout the school like a virus, and Amy Kwon was missing for the final exams of junior year. She barely skated through to senior year after the F on the exams tanked her GPA. People assumed she wouldn't be back. This was worse than getting cancelled, this was like when content creators get hit with the twitlongers from people they groomed - only this wasn't a case of grooming so much as it was infidelity, cheating, vulgarity, a whole slew of accusations and seemingly verified proof of Amy Kwon being a truly awful individual. No one knows who put the hit piece together, who pulled the trigger on releasing it, or why. No one really cares; at BHHS sometimes those at the top can only ever fall down. Going into senior year, people assumed Amy Kwon would transfer away.

She did the opposite thing. Going into senior year, Amy Kwon has decided to embrace the image that was painted of her. If they think she's a bad girl? They haven't even SEEN her be bad yet. If her reputation is already trashed, why not sink even lower? And why not drag people caught in her vortex down with her? Amy Kwon is a problem. Left unchecked, she'll be destructive to more than just herself. If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, Amy Kwon's path is the express lane and she's driving over the limit.

Naturally with someone on such a spiral, Amy's biggest dilemma is knowing when she's gone too far. She's never had to endure the Hester Prynne scenario but unlike Hester she doesn't see herself going on a redemption arc; if people want to 'fix her' they are welcome to try and see how long it takes for them to become broken playthings tossed aside by Amy. Part of her does want to find out who turned her into the 'Fallen Angel', but another part of her doesn't care. She's free. In a way. Sure, she's lost most, if not all, of her friends but if they didn't stand by her then fuck them. Amy is going to have to decide what's more important to her: regaining her reputation or basking in her newfound hedonistic bad bitch self. Or find a way to merge both. Either way, she only has a year...but a lot can happen in a year. And no one will forget Amy Kwon. She won't give them that satisfaction.

If there's a dress code, Amy has violated it. She doesn't walk around school in the buff, that's crazy, but short skirts, tops with vulgar words or phrases, outfits that catch the eye or make one do a double take. But more importantly, she carries herself with an arrogant confidence that allows her to even pull off the frankly outrageous and overly lascivious outfits she wears. It's like she's in a competition to outdo herself - a competition that no one else is participating in. Amy is aware enough to know that just wearing risque outfits everyday will get boring after a while, so she's still often balancing it out by wearing stylish outfits that happen to just be black or darker colors. She pulls it off.

Amy is less a social butterfly and more a social parasite. She'll show up to parties even if her new self isn't technically invited. While not a part of any official school clubs anymore, she was once part of the trendsetter clique, with an interest in theater though she never auditioned. She was content to simply support it by being an audience member and hanging out while they did auditions and rehearsals.

There are few at BHHS and fewer in the senior class who don't know Himani Chakrabarti. Of course, in a way everyone knows her considering at every pep rally and major home game for the season she can be found inside the pirate mascot uniform where she spreads BHHS spirit and cheer and sometimes even dancing routines. Even normally, Himani Chakrabarti makes her presence known just by the sheer number of clubs she has signed up for and how she seems to always have energy and optimism for a school of all things. Rare is the time when she gets called on in class because Himani is someone that, when answering a question, will talk for minutes until the teacher or someone else interrupts her. Many surely find her annoying, but in the way where she still gets to have friends and people who tolerate her. She's likable, in other words, and if nothing else her energy can be infectious. Perhaps one of the more surprising aspects of Himani's entire being is her performance in gym class. She runs a crisp six minute mile in gym class and likely would be on the cross country team if she didn't have a thousand other commitments and concerns.

Himani Chakrabarti is a ball of energy and school spirit and her can-do and 'never say no' attitude has made some consider her to be...naive, wwhich is a fair assessment. In terms of grades, History and Gym are her best classes but every teacher she's ever had has remarked on how immaculate her handwriting is and how thorough her notes are. She fully expects her yearbook platitude to be "Most Likely to Be A Secretary" but she doesn't know if that's insulting or not. Likely not, as she always runs for student council secretary until people remind her of her dozen other clubs she's technically part of.

Love her or hate her, few can deny that Himani is unapologetically earnest.

Himani doesn't have the money to go to college but desperately wants to so she can study archeology (did she mention she wants to be an archeologist?) and history. Scholarships are her best chance but she's still worried about the lack of money to the point where she hasn't even applied to college yet. While college is a big dilemma for her, she's also coming to terms with the fact that her family situation is...well if people knew what it was like at her house they would wonder how she was able to be so cheerful and chipper at school; though it does help explain why she enjoys being outdoors hiking, climbing rocks, and camping as much as she does. The two concerns are connected as not getting into college would mean having to spend time in the worst place on the planet.

Himani doesn't really have a defined style. Most of her outfits are of the casual variety without much in the way of namee brands. She does happen to show leg because she likes wearing shorts but considering she runs and hikes and such, being proud of her legs is just a happy byproduct. Most times, though, they just wear nondescript or athleisure. They like accessories, particularly bracelets and wristbands and she almost always wears sneakers.

Himani rides their bike to school or sometimes walks if they feel like it. But more often than not it's a bike ride to and from school. She has a binder in her backpack that contains her notebooks (she goes through many over a year) and dayplanner. She rarely ever leaves home to go to school without her dayplanner.

Tried to join band but doesn't play an instrument other than clapping. Mascot and club activities keep her fairly busy.

Eli's reputation is that of a chill surfer dude. Laid back and goes with the flow kind of person. Carefree and a generally happy and upbeat person who rarely gets angry. Always ready to head to the bench and surf or just have a fine time overall. Alcohol may or not be involved.

Eli's main struggle is that he has no idea what to do after high school. No clue, and there is nothing that grabs him. This is more of a problem since his father wants an answer since he does not want Eli to be a slacker or just be a beach bum all his life. So Eli needs to figure out his next move, preferably before he graduates from high school.

As is expected of a chill surfer, Eli wears what you would expect a surfer to wear. T-shirts, shorts, and shoes that are easy to get in and out of. Very casual and tends to be cool colors, but when it does matter. Eli does wear what is unexpected of him. Like jeans, collar or polo shirts, and sometimes a jacket.

Eli has a Kia Sportage Hybrid and generally carries the usual stuff a person should have. That and a shoulder sling bag that has his school stuff, a water-resistant watch, and either his electric guitar or normal guitar with its case.

Eli is not surprisingly is apart of the Surfing club but is also apart of the Music club. Since it is not a well known fact that he has and plays both a electric and normal guitar. Besides that Eli likes to spend time at the bench or just hanging out with friends.

He rarely seems to try at anything, especially in school and if he’s not in the quad taking pictures or recording the world around him on his camera, he’s probably taking a nap. He is considered kind, gentle and quite a cheery soul. He refrains from swearing around women and younger students and Adam has a tendency to lend people a hand whenever anyone asks or offers his help when they need it.

The truth of the matter is that Adam is extremely disciplined and almost obsessively regimented. He is barely able to function without a routine to find his centre and if anyone ever watched his daily practices they would think that it borders self harm. He has various techniques which he uses throughout the day to hold the line and stay in his happy place and for the most part, they tend to work but sometimes, when he is triggered Adam morphs into something quite terrifying.

Adam has some problems at home which he’d rather not discuss but his biggest “dilemma” is currently feeling unfulfilled and unchallenged. He is ranked number one in the country in martial arts tournaments and has been undefeated for the last five years. He wants to find someone to really test himself and his skills against and the mopes that Theo and his gang throw his way just aren’t cutting it. Plus, working for “The Franchise” isn’t something Adam sees himself doing for much longer.

Adam isn’t one for fashion and simply wears comfortable clothing, lots of baggy joggers and hoodies. When he wants to smarten it up a bit, Adam tends to slip into a pair of jeans and a nice jacket.

Martial Artist

He is a student sensei at his dojo. He also fights illegally in unsanctioned events. He likes to hang out with the PLC and skate crews and is part of the Adventure Club.
