@Terminal That was... aggressive. You make a fair point. I did some research, and it says there are truly no Green Stars. I also want to note I did the sun listing so everyone could choose their preference of color. With the research I've made, it seems it is similar in colors that we can choose. I will make requirements. I suppose I had high expectations that people knew they needed a star. Although, colonies don't really need a star. It'll be cold, it is recommended one is within range enough not everything freezes over, but I think a station could be enough as long as they have power.

Nation Focus: Between Military and Science
Weapons: Lasers Shield Type: Force Fields Armor Type: Grounded Bonus Type: Cloning The Celestial Empire has achieved a level of cloning that no other nation could ever come close to, able to even mass produce clones on a global scale. Their method uses a special technique to fit the clones every need and purpose. C.E.'s most expensive export is Clones, but they never sell more than 10 to a client. They have been unable to clone other species, however.
Weapon Tech Level: Standard Shield Tech Level: Superior Armor Tech Level: Standard
Nation Government: Empire Nation Economy: Command Nation Military Description: Nearly all positions in C.E.'s military is manned with Clones, except higher positions. The lowest position ever taken by a Human is Lieutenant, Captain always being filled with Humans. However, by comparison, it would seem 15-20% was by the population. Clones survive off of 'Nutrient Supplements,' the minimal essentials needed for a human body to be sustainable. Mass produced, in quick fashion, they can even be carried along in the Clones dress uniform or armor due to their size and 'snack-ability.' Every Human and Clone are constantly trained in case of any rebellion or attack, knowing they have an entire galaxy to protect is exhausting.
Space Force Largest of their Forces, their most important Branch, this branch supplies their Security Force for Galactic Patrol and Control.
Naval Force Moderately sized compared to the other branches, but is not used too often. Due to no incursions on the Homeworld, oceanic ships have been modified to attack any enemy ships entering the atmosphere.
Air Force Smallest of the branches, improved fighter craft to reach the upper atmosphere. Like the Naval Forces, modified for protecting against spacial invasions.
Ground Force Second largest of all the branches in C.E. military structure, the most common place to see Clones. Generals and Lieutenants are the only positions seen filled with Humans, if one can tell the difference.
Security Force Actively patrolling the galaxy, stopping by other Homeworlds to check on compliance with the AGR's rules and C.E.'s laws. Third largest force
Nation Culture Description: The Celestial Empire likes Justice and Coexistence, having a preference for Life and Preservation. Within C.E. Culture there seems to be two distinct types of peoples; ones who define Justice and Coexistence as Control and Growth, the other define them as Good and Freedom. Within C.E.'s roots, there was capitalism, and when the government didn't control something monetarily, big bankers took control. This assisted the Emperor and vice versa when the current Emperor is a corrupt Emperor, which has been for awhile. Corruption runs rampant among the Culture for self-preservation and Justice gaining the upper hand for someone.
For The Stars - The day FTL was created. C.E. remembers this day as a special one since through FTL they've learned new ways of living, finding new species in the galaxy, and also with the creation of FTL, new technologies opened up for health and life.
Celestial Imperials don't much like any foreign food outside of their culture, some fearing it of disgust or if it is even healthy, while most Imperial Spacers and Colonists have come to its liking. Humans (sometimes called Imperials) differ from homeworld and space... Colonists, spacers, traders, etc., are not seen as the upper class kind from home. Only the C.E. Officials are. Nation Economy Description: The C.E. can be thought of as the richest Nation in the known Galaxy, due to their large mining claims, license contracting, and major exports, even attempting to force a galactic currency through AGR. The attempt was agreed upon, it's just hard to get all Nations into the economy flow, either because they are stubborn, poor, or don't have a currency. National Figures: Name: Emperor Herald Age: 67 Gender: Male Upper class, corrupt, saw the Galaxy as currency and labor, and wanted to control it through political, economical, and military means to gain advantages and a luxurious lifestyle from it. Old, stubborn, rude, conniving, Herald gain control of anything through sleek lingual skills.
Name: Emperor Halling Age: 39 Gender: Male Upper class, Herald's unfavored son, recently took the throne after his fathers natural death. Halling is seen by most as a traditional, good man, with values and strengths that could prove to be worth more than the last three Emperor's. He isn't thought of as corrupt, which causes fear in the corrupted. Just became Emperor within the last few months.

All players can discuss if there are problems with a Major Nation and points will be taken.
-Humans are (generally) 6 foot tall bipeds with pale, sometimes brown skin. They have a head with two eyes, being bilaterally symmetrical creatures. They have a pointy noise, blood or brown/black hair and tend to have brown, green or blue eyes. They are somewhat strong as a species for a creature than lives on a world with somewhat low gravity. Have okay immune systems, of which need to be augmented with anti-bodies and numerous forms of medical therapy to survive in space in order to deal with space cancer. Humans also have two arms and two legs. They have hands with five fingers, opposable thumbs and reproduce by live birth. Both genders are similar, but the males tend to be buff. They are a species who are very ambitious and prone to division. Despite their individualistic mindset, Humans tend to group under charismatic figures and whole societies can be structured under caste systems in many cases in their history. In more recent history, humans have tended towards more republican forms of government, but hierarchal systems (especially aristocracies) are common.
-The Roaches are large, cockroach-like aliens who are hexapods. They are eusocial creatures, with their queen laying numerous eggs and having three biological castes. In practice their societies tend to be rather laid back since they already have biological castes so enforcing them isn't a major priority to those in power (unlike humans, who are biologically much more similar). Roach societies tend to be clan-based, with the queen as the head of the clan. More advanced Roaches have a oligarchy of roach queens who work for the common good of the "common hive". Roach hives tend to be massive, often eating into mountains where millions of Roaches swarm in densely populated areas. The Roaches have a habit of hoarding and really eating anything they find edible, even each other sometimes. The Roaches prefer anywhere rich in food, garbage dumps ar a favorite among their kind as the Thebians have noticed.
National Symbol/Flag/Emblem: A big black square with angled edges. Nothing else. (It's a black octogon)
Nation Population: A hundred million humans, ten billion roaches with hundred thousand queens.
Ships:
Not sure what's balanced, so bare minimum in commercial, heavy in military and small in civilian.
Nation Focus: Military
Weapons: Kinetic Weaponry
Shield Type: Point defense systems that use disruptive wave pulses to disrupt enemy missile systems and smart projectiles. Can fail if your barrages are timed well, just don't think you can swarm missile them like you can other shielded enemies. Really just machine gun them and you'll penetrate. (Force Field type shield I suppose)
Armor Type: Grounded.
Bonus Type: Read shield type
Weapon Tech Level: Substandard (they rely on focus firing from multiple ships as opposed to having single hard hitting ships, not to mention kinetic weaponry reliance means they can get outranged pretty easily by laser using enemies) Shield Tech Level: Superior Armor Tech Level: Standard
Nation Government: They are a oligarchy.
Nation Economy: They are a command economy.
Nation Military Description: About 30% of the human population have extensive military training (Even if they are not on the field or even Warriors of any sort), mind you this is all supported by their wealth of Roaches slaves and automating much of society. Along with their rather unitary lifestyle. The rest of the humans make the spaceships, food and handle architectural planning. Lazy people tend to be executed for not contributing to society. Their military consists of over engineered spaceships that despite being war machines have somewhat weak FTL, not being able to go far distances at a time because making a larger FTL drive would mean they couldn't install more weapon systems.
They tend to be reliant on kinetic weaponry.
Their over engineered spaceships tend to be of the same three models; Bombarders, Fighters and Leaders.
Bombarder ships are for planetary attacks, mainly orbital bombardments and warrior deployments. Used mostly on their own world in practice since they haven't any reason to invade other societies, only intimidate.
The Fighters are their main ships and are very organized, often taking formations to amplify their collective strength. They make use of all the systems outlined earlier.
Leader ships are bigger, more powerful ships where leaders of a ship brigade organize the fighter ships. These tend to have more protection systems and are obligated to self-destruct should the battle be lost. Retreat is not a option.
Nation Culture Description: Syracuse day is celebrated yearly by having citizens go on a bug raid- or murdering thousands of Roaches for the hell of it.
Their society is built around the idea of unitary existence, perfection of the human form and have militarized heavily with people being trained for decades with a whole arsenal of weaponry and use of various forms of equipment. They are given power suits and usually will board enemy ships to slaughter enemy crews, not to take over the ship, but simply for the sake of the slaughter. They are a deeply conservative culture reliant on alien slaves outside the cities and robot labor in the cities, with each human expected to perpetually work. Laziness is punished by death, with robots used to monitor and keep track of the productivity of citizens in Thebian society. They are a extremely paranoid society whose military can't really go out and conquer other worlds due to needing weapons to keep down the Roaches.
There is no marriage in their society, they just have people randomly assigned to breed children when the need is necessary. Sexual activity is repressed with even war rape punishable by death. Really, many things in their society are punishable by death and the totalitarian policies have led to a stagnant population over time, as many people end up being killed by the state or in training. Breeding had to become more common to make up for this, but remains heavily regulated. Defection is hard as armor has controls on it that will kill Warriors who defect. Taking off the armor will also kill you.
People are raised by the state and not by a family, for the state is seen as one massive family with everyone having a common genetic origin. Everyone must work for the common good, the oligarchs being selected by earlier generations of oligarchs for the most esteemed of people in their society.
Their repressive society suffered multiple rebellions historically, all crushed brutally by the Warrior class. Some manage to get by on a double life regardless, something that's caused there to be machine police who will watch some people every second of their life, even being too suspicious may lead to someone either being put to death for wasting resources or forced into another round of training. Roach rebellions tend to be bombed from orbit should they ever get out of hand.
Nation Economy Description: Stagnant since they rely on alien slave labor and aren't really capitalistic, wasting their R&D on military weapons to keep down their roach slaves while being generally a insular society who only interact with outsiders to monitor potential dangers to their world state.
National Figures: Syracuse the Great, the conqueror of the roaches is a legendary hero.
-Theocritus is the founder of the Theban Protectorate, he pretty much decided he wanted to use greco-Roman names for everything (along with even ripping off their culture into some weird confused mixture of these classical societies) and despised traditional human societies, seeing them as too materialistic and ignorant of the true pursuit of man. It was during his life that the general Syracuse finally conquered the Roaches, putting them to good use as menial slaves. The Roaches live a lower existence than robots as far as the Thebians are concerned, the robots keep order and enforce the slavery of the Roaches so than the humans can focus on proper pursuits.
-Marcus is the current first citizen of the Theban Protectorate and is notable for looking further outward, given the increasing political consolidation that has been occurring with the galactic council that has caused him to start amassing WMDs while making "alliances" with others who oppose the council out of sheer convenience. A universal galactic organization might actually hold them accountable for their actions with the radical views.
Homeworld: Thebes
A large desert planet with many mountainous regions, the world state of Thebes consists of dozens of cities in key parts of the planet's service interconnected by a global transport system- the Theban Transport. Not very creative name makers, the Thebians. Their cities reflect this, with names like "Five Hills", "Wet and Sandy Plains", "Fertile Riverside", "Metallic Peaks" and so on.
The Capital city is simply referred to as "The Capital" or sometimes "Thebes Proper". It is a quite impressive city, but the unitary living the Thebians follow is clearly shown, with most centers being for their perpetual training for human perfection and augmentation. They also have target practice ranges where they shoot Roaches.
The Roaches live in a parallel society below the iron feet of the Warrior class, agreeing to be slaves as long as they get to have discarded garbage and pretty much self-manage for the most part. They are stressed heavily however, by the perpetual agriculture and shit work they are assigned, with queens being awarded with shiny objects to keep their loyalty. Should that fail, the Thebians smash the bugs with the hammer that is their heavily armored and obsessively trained military guard.
Notable Planets and Sizes These worlds orbit a yellow star (G-class) named Hipparchus.
3 (Medium World) Sinope- A medium ocean planet with oceans of piss because the bacteria there secrete urea. A important world for the fertile deserts of Sargon.
4 (main world, habitable.) Thebes- A large desert world that is notable for having very fertile soil around the rivers leading from rocky mountains in various parts of the world, is the home planet of the Theban Protectorate. The Roaches native to Thebes were conquered by Syracuse the Great. Consider it to be as productive as a medium habitable world.
5 Alloy (Large Uninhabitable world) - Alloy is a soot filled mining world where they get all their materials from. Robots tend to dominate this world since they can't use roaches here and the only humans are the Hard Livers, people who dedicate themselves to living on a world where every day you sleep a nightmare is guaranteed.
5 Dense (another large uninhabitable world) - A radiaoactive world, completely uninhabitable and only machines go here. This world has some interesting materials that have been incorporated into Thebian tech.
3 Zeus- A cool gas giant w/ a few small uninhabitable moons. They have a gas mine and a secret space port here.
@Arawak Some Galaxies can differ in gravity and range of anomalies. Humans are restricted unless you speak to me first as I am the only human race in the galaxy. Tech Types should be chosen from the list, only aesthetics/fluff are different. The base must still be the base. I can not accept your NS at this time.
Edit: Others can argue my point. If this point defense system works in wave pulses, and it is accepting of the others, then I (And hopefully Keyguy wakes up and Wilson comes in) it'll be discussed, But if it disables missiles instead of taking their hits, then that must be a bonus technology, as the base types don't do that. And before we get too far, there isn't any absorbent armor. There is Grounded armor that absorbs electrical energy, but lasers create heat, like a flame on metal, Grounded armor isn't perfect against lasers.

It should be up shortly in any case, but I had planned for my faction to have a subpopulation of Humans within it, and for it to have 'sprung' in a sense from the Celestial Empire itself. The short version is 'legal shenanigans involving one of the wealthiest members of the Emperor's Court leads to the inception of a new Interstellar Nation originally made up of bean counters and a lot of external and independent parties following the money trail.' I am unsure on the precise structure of your government from what little is stated in your nation sheet, but if there is no actual court (even if in name only) I could easily tweak everything to simply make them a wealthy citizen of various means (they've been dead for a while either way).
I don't intend to make use of any of your assets or tech; it just occurred to me halfway through writing that the Empire presented a good choice of bureaucracy to source my own highly bureaucratic nation from. Full details pending, but that's the short of what I had in mind.
@Terminal Your Nation is a collective which we should really talk about, your humans are not part of a birthed Nation. And because it isn't birthed, I think you should get different starting things. Some disadvantages and some advantages compared to Minors, since it is a collective and not birthed within a growing system.
Also, at the first sign of conflict/hostility towards the Celestial Empire, because you have humans, you will be labeled as Rebels, and be targeted harder than ordinary enemies. This is opinionated of the Celestial Empire, not saying 'due to my rp rules you can't fight me.' I, as GM, don't care what you do, as long as it is realistic to the roleplay.
@Terminal Sorry, I never answered you. There is a council of advisers; political, military, science, etc., but they hold absolutely no control unless the Emperor gives them specific control of something. Otherwise control of science, military, etc is controlled by the high positions in those branches.
My shield system works in pulses. It's a matter of timing; your missiles can hit them if you know when to land them. Generally just keep shooting and you'll hit them. The wave pulse systems more or less make swarm attacks (like spamming missiles all at once) hard to use against them. My guys essentially have advanced defensive, but inferior offensive systems.
Changed absorbent with grounded since they're basically the same thing.
But I will not recede on the human part since the vast majority of my faction aren't human. They dominant species are roaches.
It's just that humans are the top caste.
You can just treat them as a rebel force if you want since as far as the Celestial Empire would be concerned, they pretty much are. They're pretty much a insular protectorate and could be a "break away group" of reactionaries if you need them to be to fit in more.
Nevermind, I read the OP again and withdraw from the RP.
@Arawak The wave pulse needs to be bonus tech. I'm not rejecting it, it's just not the base type. And no ones shields are perfect, even as superior. GM's crunch the numbers, you just fight. Superior shields or not, they can be beaten down eventually. And I will not accept the human part. If it's my species, I can have say. Just like any other Nation, Terminal made sure that if anyone said no his Nation wouldn't have them

Makes sense. The most obvious disadvantage will proper be a lack of a highly developed and widespread industrial infrastructure. One advantage might be that the technology they have starts off slightly more advanced (since we have an official 'colony' being sponsored by individuals springing out of another interstellar nation). Due to the circumstances of their arrangement they will also be rolling in a surplus of wealth, mostly in ARG-Mandated Galactic Credits.
As for the issue with hostility, their core is a group of Trustees from one of your political factions. They wouldn't nominally be predisposed to try and cause trouble. They're going to be fairly firm about being independent from the Celestial Empire proper in terms of sovereign authority, but I see no reason why they wouldn't be on at least cordial terms with one another.
@Terminal Sorry, I never answered you. How does a distant relative of the Emperor (at least twice removed) assigned as chief adviser of Economics sound? This would have been some time ago, perhaps a decade - Emperor Herald would still have been alive.
The current draft states that the Adviser was one of the wealthiest individuals amongst the Celestial Empire at the time of his death, and his last will and testament would have included a curious set of instructions that would lead to the inception of the new nation some years later, originating in the form of an extremely well-funded colonization effort. The Trustees to the Will would have notified the appropriate authorities ahead of time as to the intentions of the will (specifically to found a colony independent of the Empire proper), and so if it was unlawful they probably would have hung up officials in court for a few years and then took off abruptly without warning. In that case, they would essentially already be rebels, though one imagines you wouldn't have an easy time finding them until they were already entrenched in their new locale. On the other hand, there's also the possibility their endeavor might have been entirely legal.
Completed nation sheet should be going up some time tomorrow.
EDIT: After reading your PM, here's my current Home System arrangement.
System Creator Choices One White Star (3) Two Blue Stars (6) One Yellow Star (3) (Yes, it is a quaternary star system) Two Medium Dead Planets (4) One Medium Habitable World (3) One Small Gas Giant (1) One Small Habitable World (Freebie)
...Which shall be sufficient for my needs. In regards to the present of several different diverse species, the fact of the matter is that a large number of them are hired help being promised oodles of ARG Credit (which a number of minor faction species have been having trouble acquiring on a legitimate basis as established in your nation sheet). Their actual living conditions would require some finagling, but would largely be mediated by artificial shelters and environments as opposed to the existence of a systemic anomaly.
@Terminal I would be more alright with a small habitable world instead of a Medium. And also, with the situation you propose, and choosing not to fall under the rule of the Celestial Empire, yes, you would be Rebels. And being Rebels you would be sought out and destroyed, instead of being defended against, you would be hunted. And if you were able to construct a defensible fleet, by an internal decision, the Dreadnought may be used. When the roleplay starts, C.E. is going to be giving ARG Credits to Minors with small defensive capabilities to fund a military space station for added protection (And those they like). You'll have to quickly get allies if you don't want C.E. to come wipe you out when they find you.
Otherwise, you could be a collective of transporters, traders, and other civilians, giving you added bonuses, other disadvantages, still have a lot of credits, and not be seen as Rebels... until you become hostile.
Alias/Abbreviation: Velukans (Used only by foreigners)
Nation Specie{s}: Velukans
Specie{s} Description:
Velukans are rather tall, male averaging at 6ft6 and females at 6ft4, have 3 fingers to manipulate objects and a hardened exoskeleton. While said exoskeleton provides no defense against modern weaponry, it gives some resistance to blunt trauma, although enough force can cause internal damages as well. Mainly, they have increased resistance to the natural radiation of their home world. Historically they are a violent species that saw their history marked by violent conflicts, both ethnic and ideological. The formation of 'The State' only recently forced their nature to be softened. Instead they place their passion in sports and other entertainments.
National Symbol/Flag/Emblem: To say that something is 'your' flag means that it could NOT be your flag as well. The State is as flagless as it is nameless.
Nation Population: Veluka Prime: 5.2 Billion
-8 Large Space Stations -11 'Retaliation' Ships (Quick, never kept at the same place, specializing in Mutually Assured Destruction of enemy population.) -9 'Police' Ships (Medium (Or small, for major nations) ship with a vast range of detection equipment and boarding crew to deal with piracy, illegal mining and smuggling. 'Police' ships officially but still with military equipment.)
Nation Focus: Intelligence
Weapons: Biological Weapons Shield Type: Force Fields Armor Type: Grounded Armor Bonus Type: Intelligence (Intercepting and decryption of information as well as protecting their own data)
Nation Government: Communistic Total Surveillance State
Nation Economy: Socialist Private small scale service industry and entertainment industry, general rule being 'anything that employs over 100 people belongs to the state'. Prices of physical goods are controlled by the state and intellectual property becomes public after 5 years of creation. All basic goods are provided for and any non-physical good is free (A book on a computer is free, a paper copy is not), the currency is 'Merit', which is allocated to people by the state depending on their work and achievements. Prices are state controlled in function of availability and renewability of the material used in the creation of an item, with personal computer devices such as smartphones, TVs, PCs and game consoles being kept artificially low along with sports equipment. The aim is to keep the population contempt, forever.
Nation Military Description: Officially the State has no army, only an excessively well equipped and trained police force with artillery, tanks, bombers, you name it. It is mainly focused on domestic concerns as it has been less than a century since the State was formed and some still don't agree with its existence. But even thinking about that is a thought crime that can send you to re-education. The State's domestic forces are supplemented by an enormous and almost all seeing intelligence service, the SIB (State Intelligence Bureau), three letters to make anyone shiver in fear when heard, because just talking about it is sure to put you on some watch list (If you weren't in one already). The SIB also works on censorship and disinformation and has been known not to hesitate to dupe the citizens of the State with elaborate hoaxes just to deceive foreign intelligence. False flag operations, entire military operations that don't exist, starting revolutions only to purge certain places from possibly hostile elements. People fear just hearing about a possible plot against the government and shun anyone openly speaking out against it as a possible SIB agent provocateur.
As for its foreign doctrine, the state is trying to do a military buildup to protect itself against possible minor nation aggression, but mainly fears the larger powers and thus places its resources on Weapons of Mass Destruction aimed at killing civilians. They never acknowledge that they do so however and their incredible intelligence machine makes it impossible to prove, but others know that if the State is attacked, it will do its best to cause as much damage as it can before going down. Deterrence is key.
Nation Culture Description: The State is formed of many people of many cultures, but these days it is changing, as the State promotes historical revisionism, where everything from before it was bad and barbaric, as well as the creation of a single, globalized identity. From the outside, the average state citizen is a somewhat self centered individual that on average works only 20 hours a week but that thus has a vast amount of time for his hobbies, such as art or making stuff others will find entertaining. Indeed, it is impossible to turn a restaurant into a large chain or if you invent something, sell it to become incredibly rich as the communistic nature of the State prevents those things. Simply, Velukans do what they do because they find personal enjoyment in it, or revel in the popularity doing what they do give them.
The life of a Velukan is something to be envied by many other civilizations, as if you judge a society by how it treats its poor, Velukans live in a society where poverty is non existent, as is war and crime. But it comes at a cost. The state is seen, and justifiably so, as a psychotic totalitarian dictatorship suffering from paranoia at the highest level by its own citizens. You can either live in these comfortable boundaries or suddenly disappear, become a non person that never even existed.
Their views on outside is either an arrogant one, where they look with distain at how primitive anyone who is forced to work for a living is, or with superiority, where the outsiders are a bloody annoyance that should be crushed like the vermin that it is so the precious resources the universe has to offer can be used to better the lives of people who actually matter, Velukan lives! The first is what the state endorses, to see the State as the beacon of civilization. The second, while not actively being worked against, is an old legacy of the true Velukan nature: Warriors, that fight each other and anything else for glory, success, resources and to reduce lesser beings to nothing more than slavery. There are of course, those that look with envy at the freedom to be had outside, but those... they don't speak.
Nation Economy Description: Private small scale service industry and entertainment industry, general rule being 'anything that employs over 100 people belongs to the state'. Prices of physical goods are controlled by the state and intellectual property becomes public after 5 years of creation. National Figures: Chairman of the State Projects Bureau Kritarch: While not the leader officially (The State has no leader), Kritarch controls what the manpower and resources of the State will build as a future for its people and any bureau that doesn't have the Project's Bureau on its side will have a hard time to do anything. He was chosen for this post as a compromise, because he genuinely doesn't care about what actually is and should be the state. He's a sociopath, unable to feel empathy for his fellow Velukans, which means he has no moral quandary doing the most terrible of things, and has been a keen supporter of the idea of deterrence, although he doesn't hide to his colleagues that he would honestly rather just kill everything else in the universe so they can't ever make a problem.
Chairman of the State Intelligence Bureau Valarak: Author of the so called 'Triangle of Paranoia' (The SIB is divided in 3, the first part is the humongous organization watching over citizens and foreigners alike while the 2 others watch over the first to weed out corruption and... on each other, to make sure the watchmen themselves don't become corrupt), he's the most senior Chairman around and despite having a say in anyone that climbs the rank and being able to watch anyone's life 24/7, still doesn't trust anyone but rare individuals. Makes it his personal duty that if everyone agrees on something to order everyone to double check. All of this however, is unnoficial. As head of intelligence, he has a cover identity as being a semi-popular internet figure known to show camping and hunting tips for the new and experienced alike.
Chairman of the State Security Bureau Flon: Was the head of Justice before being promoted. The official reason she was told for her promotion was that the current Chairmen found her flexibility refreshing and that what they wanted was someone who applied the spirit of the law, not its letters. The truth is that she was causing too many problems in her old position but was still competent and above all, popular enough that it would cause a fuss if she was removed from power by the SIB. Valarak decided to play a bold game and promote her, giving the people false hope for justice while in doing so, giving her so much responsibilities that she'd be too busy to micromanage everything and cause too many problems while placing someone playing more by the rule as head of justice in the meantime. She's a good natured person, kind of suspicious about foreigners as after all she effectively controls the army, but someone willing to ask questions first and shoot later.
Ambassador Solon: When dealing with outsiders, the Chairmen, Valarak especially, wanted someone who could be sympathetic to foreigners, empathetic to their demands, but that would always unquestioningly follow orders and place the State first. Finding complete zealots that would never think of letting slip an information to the strangers is easy enough, but one that was likable? Valarak think he found that person in Solon and indeed, he is likable, representing the ideal The State advocates: He is someone who's a diplomat because of his passion, not because of duty or desire for advancement, someone that wants to know the culture of others and understand them. If you do what you like, you won't work a single day in your life, right? More than an ambassador, Solon is a symbol of what his people is... or what the state wants people to think they are.
Homeworld: -Veluka Prime: Still recovering from the War to End All Wars when the state was formed. It is becoming something beautiful as the State wants it to stand as a beacon of its own greatness to its future colonial empire, but everything has a... garden feel to it. Everything there has been tempered by the hands of Velukan and nature has lost all rights. Notable Planets and Sizes -Nova Veluka (Medium Inhabitable): A moon around a gas giant that can sustain life. It's a lush jungle, with its water frequently disturbed by tidal movements from other moons and the giant itself it orbits around. Weak gravity allows for life to develop in all sizes here and a dense atmosphere rich in oxygen makes things grow quite fast.
-Grion (Colonize-able Dead World): There was a colony there but The State tries to sweep it under the rug since it had been a colony of a previous nation that took 10 painful years to be eliminated by nuclear bombardment, all the while it sent anti-state broadcast on Veluka. Now it might actually become something productive, with maybe a little nuclear power on the ice caps to make the barren grey wasteland more inhabitable.

I do have a small habitable world. It's the one each minor power receives for free. I bought the medium habitable world using my point allocation, as clearly indicated above.
As for the 'falling under the rule of the Celestial Empire' bit, I never said they didn't. I merely said they would insist on being identified as an independent sovereign power. I.E., a minor nation, akin to the other minor nations. They too, would be independent sovereign powers, not governed by the Celestial Empire but, according to you, still under the rule of the ARG. My nation would nominally also be subject to the laws of ARG as well, since there's no reason not to be yet, so they aren't really rebels. If you define rebellion as 'choosing not to be a part of the Celestial Empire,' then I believe you have bigger fish to fry with the other two Major Powers openly flaunting their independence and sovereign authority.
Also, I am a collective of transporters, traders, and other civilians. I also happen to be a technical offshoot of the Celestial Empire's bureaucracy. This doesn't bear much further elaboration until my nation sheet is posted, which should be shortly.
@Terminal Yes that is what I am talking about. if my humans run off and make an independent nation the C.E. gets upset. The two Majors are separate from C.E., they aren't humans. This isn't a game rule Terminal, I'm not saying you can't do any of this. I'm telling you that's how the Nation acts. When their own species splinters off and refuses to be ruled by their Nation, they don't like that. So gain an ally, or else when you're found, you'll be fought
