After searching through the drawers Nikki found 2 identical keys and tried the door locks. "Jackpot" she said and locked the door. Nikki had left her sword and her trenchcoat in the room. She wanted to find Ethan and show him their room. She turned the corner and saw him come out of an office. Must be the person in charge's room. She wondered what he found out. She was almost to him when she heard him call "Lia?" and she smiled when she recognized a little girl from the Dana Point group that had gotten separated during the attack. Ethan was talking to her and Nikki waited until he noticed her and then she stepped up. "I have a surprise for you. I managed to get us a room. It even has a half bath attached." She took his hand and told him all about it.

"I haven't seen any of the storage here though. Did the person in charge mention anything about going on food runs or anything else?" Nikki looked at all of the people that were there and she said, "There has to be something in place for that."

Chris was a little annoyed by Leanne's comments as he put his hands on his hips, and watched her enter the aerobics room. He took a look at his sister who nodded her head annoyed and then wiped off the sweat from his face as he he headed to the aerobics room and confronted Leanne just as she started doing her exercises. "You know what?! I never gave her any hope. She's the one that started everything, not me. She didn't even told me her damn age. And some time later, she freaked out and dumped me like a piece of trash." Said Chris with an annoyed tone but without raising his voice.

"I would really appreciate it if you wouldn't mention her ever again. Oh and one more thing. After she talked to you, outside at the entrance, she came to me and literally threw you into my arms. That was the drop that filled the glass. After everything that happened, women are the last thing on my mind." He continued as he finished his statement and walked away.

Chris got back into the gym and started hitting the punching bag again as his sister rised up from the bench and made a few steps towards him. "Are you okay?" She asked. "I'm fine!" He responded as he stopped and grabbed the punching bag with his hands while looking at her. But just as he was about to continue his workout, two people with irish accents that he never seen before got inside and started arguing. "Are you serious?" Chris said to himself. "Hey, hey, hey, hey! Do you mind taking your yelling some place else? Some people are trying to workout here!" Said Chris while looking at the two of them.

Leanne

Leanne watched Chris and was not at all shocked that Nikki tried to toss Leanne's looks in his face. It sounded to her like maybe Nikki was trying to get his attention off of her and onto some other woman. Her own way of saying she was sorry, maybe?

Leanne was used to men falling all over themselves to get near her. She liked that Chris spoke to her like a normal person. He wasn't drooling and gushing to do whatever she wanted him to like so many others did and still do. The more she thought about him the more she realized that they had started off on the wrong foot.

Leanne went into the gym when she heard yelling and foreign accents. Leanne rushed over to the two yelling in her aerobics outfit and said, "What is the problem? You can't come in here and just ruin everyone's workout."

Tex had followed Vincent and he whistled at Leanne's appearance. She ignored him and when he stepped past Vincent and opened the magazine he'd been looking at and looked back at it again. He said, "You are Leanne right?" Leanne said "yes" waiting for the other shoe to drop. "Leanne Connor, 2015 supermodel of the year. How in the world did I get this lucky?" He showed the magazine to Vincent and suddenly Leanne felt very uncomfortable.

Leanne looked to Chris and Lisa to run interference. They were both staring at her and she decided on another tactic. "I have to get back to work." Leanne left the gym in a hurry and she ran to her own room. She had been given the smallest single room because she had been a celebrity and could be targeted by men. She pushed her door shut locking it and leaned up against it. She changed into her jeans and a tank top. She put her denim jacket on over the sleeveless shirt and as she walked out of her room she saw Chris and Lisa leave the gym.

Leanne hurried over to Chris and Lisa excused herself and went on ahead. Leanne wasn't sure where to start and she said. "We got off on the wrong foot. Can we start over?" She looked up and saw Tex come out of the gym. She adjusted the way she was standing and even though he looked around for her he didn't see her because Chris was in the way. After Tex disappeared from site she looked Chris in the eye. "I'm Leanne Connor. Can we be friends? I wasn't trying to insult you earlier. I liked that you treated me like a normal person and not like everyone else who figures out who I am does. Did you know that first guy in the gym? He gave me the creeps. I'd like to go somewhere to talk if you would. We can go up to the roof if you like."

After Jason left to speak to whoever was in charge of this place Kat walked through what she assumed was the living quarters to try and find an empty room for herself and Grace. She really hoped they wouldn't have to share. She liked her space and plus she didn't want strangers near her baby, just in case. There were a lot of crazy people out there who had lost their shit once the walkers had started appearing. These people could be psycho cannibals or religious nuts for all they knew.

Grace had started to cry again but this time it was in pain. Her little gums were swollen and hurting. Kat dropped the bag to cuddle her. "I know sweet love," she cooed gentle rubbing her back. "I know it hurts. I'm sorry baby. I'm so sorry-"
"Just fucking wonderful. We got noisy strays coming in now?" a snide voice commented. Kat looked down the hall to see a greasy looking short thin man who looked like the poster child for a ratty conman. "I hate kids," he snapped. "Where the hell did you two come from? Were you given permission to stay here?"
Kat's temper went from zero to boiling in an instant, but the rational part of her brain told her she couldn't cause bodily harm when she had just arrived here.
"You deaf or something? I asked you a ques-"
"Your voice irritates me more than your face and your smell, so do yourself a favor and shut the hell up," Kat told him.
To her surprise he laughed. "Mommy's got teeth huh? Well hate to burst your bubble Mommy but you and that noisy brat ain't staying here. You're a liability."
"Is that determined by you?" Kat asked in a dangerous voice. "Because if you have an issue with me and my baby you can take it up with her father. And if you say another word about my baby you can take it up with me. Trust me, dealing with her father is the better of the two options. Now get out of my sight."
"Well you're a nasty bitch aren't you?"
"Yes I am a bitch, a bigger one than your mother was and with bigger balls than you or your daddy. Use that feeble brain and learn something : don't screw with me."

The man slunk away after that, like a weasel with his tail between his legs. Kat took a deep breath and turned back to Grace, who was chewing on her own fist in an attempt to try and dull the pain in her gums. Kat dug through the bag to find her teething ring. It was bright yellow with a smiling orange cartoon lion at the bottom. Kat wished she could freeze the thing somehow, something cold would help numb the pain, or some baby Orajel. She would kill for some baby Orajel.

Erin felt like the bad guy in the situation when the man and woman started scolding them. It wasn't her idea to be related to this people granted the gym wasn't the best place to go. The lighter half mumble sorry towards them only stopping when Tex spoke." I'm very sorry my girlfriend caused you trouble sir. Yet I hate to point out she was not truly at fault. Erin was just about to leave before this man yelled at her. If I'm correct she was in the right but he wasn't." Haru said as he walked towards them with this stated they both walked out of the gym.

" Thank you Haru. I was sure they would have yelled more if Tex and you hadn't shown up." the girl said with a small smile." It no big deal Erin. Besides I was getting worried while we were apart. I hate leaving you on your own with Vincent around." he stated showing concern in his eyes." The guy means well he's just going about it the wrong way." the lighter half said as if it was a good thing." Yeah and rebuilding the Irish Mob is a good thing. Sorry I know he's your half sibling but it hurts my feelings. The guy seems to think I can't keep you safe. Granted Clara does a better job. Unless she get you shot that is." Erin just shook her head at his response.

Before the outbreak happened she was just a violent case of BPD. Now the girl had two personalities sharing a body which frightened the good half almost completely. Though during this year the darker half had proved to be of some value but the fear had never truly died." This can't be good. Stay close because he looks rather pissed. Then after he's gone we'll try and find out why." the young man said as he pulled his girlfriend next to him. The man was mumbling mostly only saying key phrases louder than others. It seemed to be about a mother and her child though the words David will kick them out worry both teenagers. They allowed him it past before searching for the two. Once they found Kat the couple rushed to her side." Are you both okay?" she said before Haru cleared his throat." My name is Haru Sento. This here is my Jekyll and Hyde beauty Erin Hyde McGarth. How may we help you miss?"

The two people scolding them seemed to have upset Erin. Vincent was quite sure though most likely it was true since she was mumbling sorry. The older brother turned his head to see Haru and Tex coming inside. Usually the man would be mad that the Japanese teenager was coming towards his sister. Though right now he was glad to take the blame at the moment." My apologies about ruining your workout. I was just trying to get my sister to stop so we could talk. It won't happen again." the gentleman said kindly. Tex handing him a magazine made Vincent raise and eyebrow. The guy never quite understood Americans. At least their thirst for models which was usually really young. Though the man had to admit she wasn't bad looking." Tex you're never that lucky." the gentleman said as he flipped through the magazine."Come on. She's a model and that's rare. I'll see you later I have to go find her." The oldest of the three siblings nodded as Tex left.

After finishing the magazine Vincent walked out of the gym toward the entrance. He noticed there were others by the kid they brought making his older brother mode activate. The guy walked towards them with a warm smile as his twin walked inside." Hello. My name is Vincent James McGarth. I was wondering if you all have seen my half sister Erin? I'm quite worried about her." he said weaving worry into his voice." I take it that it didn't go so well. Most likely she's with Haru. Ethan watched as Camyllia ran over to him and he went down on one knee as she sprinted over and hugged him. “You was giving up on me, was yah?” Ethan replied to her with a laugh. “Well I never doubted you for a second!” He rustled her hair as he smiled, before asking her, "How did you get here?”

As he listened to Camyllia telling him how she survived, Nikki came over to them both. He knew that Nikki and Lia hadn’t really talked to each other back in Dana Point, so Nikki just smiled at them both. Ethan stood up, the smile still clear on his face, knowing that the little girl was fine. He had one hand on Lia’s shoulder and the other in Nikki’s hands as he listened to her. “The Leader... Didn’t really give me much information to be honest. I want to have a talk with everybody first to see if we want to stay here, with the horde so close and all. The woman didn’t even tell me how they plan on dealing with it.” The smile started to go a bit weaker as he thought about the place. “I like the sound of having a bath though.” Ethan let out of a little laugh.

Before Ethan or Nikki could continue though, a man and a woman came over to them, Irish accents clear talking about a girl he’d never heard before. The man put Ethan on edge instantly, there was something that didn’t sit quite right with him. “No… I’ve never heard of her, I doubt she’s gotten far though. We’ve only just gotten here, so my guess is as good as yours” He paused for a moment slowly putting himself in front of Lia and Nikki. The smile had completely left his face now. “I’m Ethan.” His northern accent clear as he waited to see what they said.

Camyllia had almost got to the point where she was about to talk about Vincent and Raven they showed up. After talking to them a bit Ethan had stood in front of Her and the woman. Camyllia got closer to Ethan starring at the two twin siblings taking some comfort in the fact that someone else besides her that feels something is off. When she heard padding of paws she looked from the corner of her eye and saw that Blitz had taken a seat not too far from the 3 Dana point. Turning back her eyes she watched the two unpleasant images of her father when people like them came into her mind. She swallow's a whimper and sent up a silent prayer the same thing doesn't happen to Ethan or anyone else. Knowing that Ethan can take care of himself she had to get her stuff..in case anyone from here gets any idea's. She backs away from the group and ran to the van she was in. When she got there thankfully she found her pack and Blitz owners pack and started searching through it. A clank made her snap up and the tactical machete she used to kill Lane and her bat had fallen.
Camyllia shook her head before going back to her task at hand. To the girls surprise and utter delight inside the pack was some sort of assault rifle," That explains why it was so heavy! Awesome!" Camyllia said. She had very little knowledge of guns outside of shotguns, hand guns and hunting rifles but she knew one thing. Big gun=more damage but more damage equals more noise. Which brings Camyllia to her practically useless bow. She has yet to find any arrows she could use for it but it was a gift from her uncle so she cant get rid of it. Camyllia just put everything back to where they belonged grabbed her pack and the pack with the big gun and made her way out of the van

Nikki noticed Ethan moving in front of her to protect her and Lia. The little girl ran off a moment or two later. Nikki could feel the tension coming off of Ethan. She squeezed his hand a little to show support. Nikki smiled and stepped up next to Ethan. She looked at Vincent and a feeling of uneasiness washed over her. "I'm Nikki. I hope you find whomever you were looking for. Come on Ethan, I have something to show you." Nikki said and she pulled him with her.

Nikki felt like she was holding her breath until they got around the corner. She matched his strides and took him straight to their room. Once inside she made sure the shades were drawn all the way down and she flipped the light on. Then she said, "That guy gave me the creeps." Nikki hugged Ethan and held onto him tightly. "Are you okay?"

Jason had spent the time looking for someone in charge, talking to some woman that Ethan had just finished a few minutes before. He didn't get as much luck with her as well, as she clammed up when he tried to ask about the defenses or supplies. This only made him even more certain to not stay here.

The building it's self was fairly defensible. A few entrances and the windows were high enough on ground level you didn't have to worry about the walkers breaking through and getting in. Though looking at the people here, they seemed to cling onto a past life as if sticking their heads in the sand. He heard music playing, they had lights on, even during the day. He could hear a generator coming from the basement somewhere but still, the fact that they were being so loud would only guarantee that the horde will find them. Besides the walls and doors, there was no other defenses put up, no cars made into walls, or trenches dug, or fences made. Just the building. He walked around the building, seeing the gym and the man named Chris freaking out still. As well as another man, who seemed to put off a bad vibe for Jason, someone with military training...he couldn't place it though. Some more people...all seemed to want the comforts of the old life. None of whom noticed him, as he was trained to be unseen. It was second nature now.

Jason would have liked it as well, but he wasn't one to stick his head in the ground and put himself in danger over it. He visited each of the doors, and the guys around the most used ones seemed to be lounging around. He tried figuring out how many people where here, how they had hot water and electricity...but he didn't get much. Despite allowing them to stay they didn't trust them obviously. Well they got one thing right.

He sighed and made his way back to the rooms where the group was assigned, hoping to find Ethan or Kat. When he turned the corner, walking into two men who were murmuring about getting rid of a bitch and her baby. They got pissed that he had interrupted their plots when he quickly asked, "Wanting to rid the woman and child that just came in? I can help with the issue."

The two raised their eyebrows, slightly confused. "Yea? Why should we let you?" one of them asked.

That was all he needed to hear to confirm they were speaking of Kat and Grace. With out warning he launched his right foot up and into the groin of the one on the left, then threw his right arm out, Jabbing the guy on the right with a throat punch. Dropping both within three seconds. It was dirty, but in war, there was no such thing as a dirty fight.

He then leaned down and said softly. "Come close to her or her child, or anyone else in my group for the matter,Ill break your legs and throw you out to the walkers."

He stood up and left them coughing and groaning on the ground. He soon came up to the rooms where the group was assigned and saw Kat holding grace, talking to two other kids. He then said as he walked up to them, "Sorry for just walking away like that... I'm not getting the best vibe from this place..."

Kat's head shot up as more people approached her. She wished she had more people from her own group around, especially Ethan or Jason. She held Grace tightly and glared at the boy and girl defensively. If they were here to kick her out-
She relaxed when she realized they were making sure she was okay. "I'm fine, but that rat faced dick is not going to be if I see his pointed nose around me or my baby again," she took a breath and closed her eyes, calming down before explaining. "Sorry, I shouldn't have snapped at you both. But your friend up there just informed me that my baby was not welcome here. I'm Kathryn. This is my baby girl Grace. Look, I'm sorry about the crying, but she's just started teething. She can't help it."
Kat relaxed completely when Jason walked up a few minutes later. She nodded, agreeing with his 'bad vibe'. "Apparently Grace is a liability and not welcome here," she said in a tone that told him how she felt about that. "So I guess I'm not staying."

Seeing someone familiar Grace hiccuped through her tears and reached for Jason with the hand that was not holding the teething ring, grasping at his shirt. "Eee-ja!" she babbled, which was apparently 'baby language' for "my mouth hurts make it stop!"
Kat sighed and looked at Grace, her expression changing instantly from her normal hard exterior to a soft and worried mother. "I know baby. I know it hurts. I'm so sorry," she murmured, cuddling her in an attempt to soothe her. "She's started teething in full force," she told Jason worriedly. "I'm not sure what to do. I don't know how to help her. I didn't have a mother to teach me this kind of stuff. Damn it," she swore softly as her eyes stung but she refused to let any tears show.
The fact that she was willing to admit that to him showed how much she thought of him.

Vincent stayed quiet as he watched Ethan go in front of the woman and girl. His eyes quickly flick at his sister then back in time to see that Camyillia was gone. The man's arm was suddenly gripped causing his focus to shift towards his twin." Well it was worth a try. A pleasure to meet you two." she said as she watched them leave." Well that was a waste of time. I'm starting to get worried Vincent." Raven stated in a worried voice. This cause the oldest to chuckle receiving an elbow in the ribs by the woman.[color=orange]" Sorry. I just found it funny that your acting like a worried mother. Looks like your older sister instincts are working. There's not many places she could be Raven."[color] he stated.

Before the twin could counter one of their men walked up towards them then saluted." At ease Henry. I would like your report before rounding up the men." Vincent said as the man did as he was told." The place looks secure though they seem to not understand the word quiet. As for the horde Will and Jack said they're coming. Better to move out these people soon sir." The guy said as he waited to complete the instructions." Noted solider. I want four men off the lines. I want the eight to pair up and keep watch. Dismissed." the guy saluted his leader once more then left.

" Awe. The big bad mobster has a heart after all. Raven teased. The leader just stayed quiet until the men arrived." I want you four to get up to those windows. I don't want any walkers sneaking up on us. We'll be looking for Erin. Dismissed." he order them." Let's go and find our sister." Vincent said as he exited the gym. It was a while before them stubble on the aftermath of a fight. Though the people were starting to get up while making threats towards people. This caused the older sibling to hit mumble something under his breath, before being forced to move on by his sister.

Erin and Haru just listened, not taking what the woman said to heart, before she seemed to calm down. The young man snicker when Kathryn mentioned that they were apart of this group causing the young girl to elbow him in the stomach." Sorry about that. We're not apart of this group Miss Kathryn. Ours is inside the high school here. We just came here for the night after saving a kid from Dana Point." he said while rubbing his stomach. The teenager was about to say something before a sudden voice caused her to flinch. She turned her head then sighed in relief to see it wasn't the devil standing there. As they talked the light side could only think of one solution to this problem.

" I hate to say this but I think I know where the bad vibe is coming from. To make things worse they maybe the only solution to this problem." Erin said with a disappointed look towards Haru." No way are we going to get those demonic twins involved. Vincent is pure evil and Raven is no better. Besides the point of dodging them is not seeing them at all." he stated while violently waving his arms." She was a fishmonger, and sure t’was no wonder. Oh. So this is where you were hiding. Hello." Vincent said making his half sister glare at him with her opened blue eye." That's rude Erin. Didn't dad or your mom teach you better?" Raven said as she stopped beside the oldest." This should be good. I wish we had some pocorn now." Haru said as he sat next to Kat then rubbing her back trying to comfort her.

" As I said before my family is dead. You two are just trash the guy left behind. Now than can we start making a deal or do I have to bring Clara out?" the girl said with a smirk." I'm disgusted you would say that to your older brother. With that said what kind of deal are we talking about?" he said seeming to have fallen for it completely." Kathryn, Grace, and her people get to stay here with your men for protection. Since Alex, Haru, and I have to stay hidden due to complications with the group already here. As a reward I'll bring you along and vouch for you with the council. Though you will be guarded along with Raven. Deal?" the lighter half ask while the other girl shook her head." Deal. Miss please make a list of things your child needs. Since I'm guessing you're running low on things. I'll let two of my men know your under our protection. Raven please talk to the man in charge. Anyone wants to go with me?" Vincent kindly said to Kathryn while hinting he wanted Jason to come.

Chris took off his gloves and put them in the duffle bag that Lisa was holding. Then he started putting his t-shirt and leather jacket on, as well as equipping his KA-BAR knife and Smith & Wesson revolver, determined to go and find a place to rest. He had enough excitement for one day. Just then, Leanne came out and admonished the two irish newcomers as well. Chris accepted the irishman's apologies as he and his sister got out of the gym only to get approached by Leanne, this time dressed differently.

"Excuse me! I think you two need to talk. Gimme that, I'll go find us a place to stay." Said Lisa as she took Chris's backpack and went off.

Chris realized that Leanne was trying to get rid of those two men by using him as a wall but that was okay. Those two were weirdos anyway. He listened to Leanne present herself and apologise for the past incident in the gym where she picked on him because of the whole Nikki thing. He put his hands on his hips as he took a deep breath then let go of the air. "My name's Chris. Chris Donovan. Sure...we can go on the roof and talk. Lead the way." Said Chris not answering all of Leanne's questions and still maintaining a high level of seriousness as he followed Leanne's lead.

Leanne Connor

Leanne took the stairs up to the roof, Chris followed her. She opened the door and they went outside. It was a pretty cozy setup up there. Leanne had used it as her private outdoor retreat for some time now. She would also shoot the walkers, with a silencer of course. There was a small patio set up there and she motioned for Chris to sit. She looked out over the town as she spoke.

"People haven't treated me like a normal person in a long time. At first it was great. I got the star treatment but like everything else it got old and then it just got annoying. I had no idea that I had stalkers even now I still have them. Considering how this world is going that's a tough pill to swallow. It makes my entire adult career/life look shallow and ridiculous."
She looked at Chris and smiled. "I want to thank you. You are the first person that treated me like a normal girl who stuck her foot in her mouth." Leanne chuckled and she looked at Chris and blushed a little bit.

"I don't know how to ask you this...but can we ...would you pretend to be my boyfriend so that the creeps will leave me alone?" Leanne heard how bad what she asked sounded and her face showed it. "Oh my god! Nevermind what I just asked you. That was stupid. If money were something of use I could ask you to be my bodyguard but since everyone uses it to wipe their asses these days I can't pay you. I must be getting more desperate than I thought I was. Please ignore me. I tend to stick my foot in my mouth more often than I would like. I'm really sorry and so I'm going to leave now while I have a shred of dignity left." Leanne blushed to her toes in mortification.

Leanne got up to leave but stopped. "How big was the horde you guys were talking about?" She pointed at a large group of walkers several hundred of them probably a few miles out of the city.

Blitz sat next to Camyllia munching on a treat the girl had given her. Though she wanted jerky it'll have to do. Right now they were sitting and leaning against the wall of the building both on edge from the growing groans

"Ya think they have a plan? 'Cause if we don' we're screwed," Camyllia says earning a "why ask me?" look from the dog,"Don' give me that look! Yer the only livin' thing close by that seems ta listen to the small ten year old," Camyllia sat leaning back against the wall,"Though I think Ethan would listen but I doubt anyone would bkther wit' it though," Camyllia said. Playing with her machete," What we need ta do is get the hell outta 'ere an' head east then north cause the colder the weather the slower the walker," She says pointing her machete up indicating north,"but these two twins 're just bad...evil maybe I don' know," She whispers,"I need ta find their kid sister...maybe when they go on that run I can talk to 'er." She says getting up Blitz getting up with her and walking by her side as they made their way into the building

Jason couldn't help but lift his hand and allow grace to grab onto his foreginger, as she switched the toy for his finger into her mouth, as that was big enough for her to wrap her tiny hand around. It was clean so he didn't worry about that. He looked at Kat as she now was worried for her child, explaining to him that she was teething, and that she didn't know what to do, and to top that off she was on the verge of tears.

"Try rubbing her gums with one of your fingers, Or you could use a damp cool towel or spoon for her to chomp down on. Both causes the pressure that helps with the pain." He looked at her as she surely would be confused on how he knew this. "I had younger siblings I took care of as babies. The tricks tend to stick with you."

He looked over at the boy and girl who were talking and then noticed the man from earlier and another girl. Who he got a bad vibe from...something the two kids had mentioned only moments before. His other hand was on the grip of his FN SCAR, relaxed but ready. He turned his attention to the boy who was oddly rubbing Kat's back to comfort her...which he foud...really odd.

Though his attention was on Grace as she seemed to calm down even more after nawing on his finger. He wanted to explain more to Kat that she had nothing to worry about as long as he was here, but suddenly his thoughts were dragged back tot he present when the girl kid sudednly made a deal for the other guy to take care of Kat.

Before he could object the man said deal, and offered to get a list of things for Kat....which was what he was planning to do once they were in a safe location.

"Hold on for a second..." He said looking to Vincent. "We don't even know if we are staying here for the night... I personally don't like the set up here, and there is a horde coming... I recommend we find some place with a second story and a way to block the stairs till the horde moves on by. Also, I rather not have third parties make deals for us and our group. Not really their place..." He said glancing down at the girl who made the deal in teh first place. He knew she was trying to help, but really it wasn't her call to even make that deal.

A mixture of shock and amusement was on Chris's face after he heard the proposition that Leanne made him and then she so quickly changed her mind. But at the same time he felt sad for her. All she wanted was to be treated like a normal person but instead she had guys drooling over her like she was a piece of meat and not a person with feelings like everyone else. And to top it all off there was this outbreak totally preventing her from having any kind of normal life whatsoever.

After she pointed out at the walker horde, Chris rose up from his seat and went to her as he looked in the distance. "Yes, those are the freaks that we faced before we got here. It looks like they're heading this way. They should be reaching us in a few hours I wager!" Said Chris with slight concern on his voice and face. "Listen, about what you said earlier...!" He said as he grabbed Leanne by her shoulders and slowly turned her around.

"I can't be your boyfriend, not even a fake one. I couldn't act properly and make it believeable! I just went through a dissapointment today and it will take me some time before I open up to someone else again." He said as he made a few steps back and crossed his arms, taking one more look in the distance at the horde. Then he pulled out his balisong, flipped it open and started running his thumb then his index finger on the blade.

"On the other hand...I guess I could be your bodyguard and protect you. Both from the drooling freaks out there but from walkers as well. I don't need you to pay me in anything." Said Chris as he went to the terrace they just sat on, cut a flower with the balisong, closed it, put it back in a pocket of his jeans and then headed back to Leanne, giving her the flower as he put his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket.

Leanne smiled at him and blushed. It had been a long time since someone had been normal to her and the small flower was a kinder gesture to her than if he had spent a fortune on flowers. Her smile was genuine and she was seeing him up close for the frst time as well.

"Well I can tell you one thing. That girl is an idiot and it's her loss not yours." She hugged him. "I'm glad to finally have a friend that isn't trying to get something from me. Do you know yet if we are staying here? There is another place in town to check out if not here. The highschool has been a good place to hide out too and they have more fences than we have here."

Leanne looked at him and said "if we stay here I can arrange for rooms if you like." Just as she looked back he was getting stung by a bee on the back of his neck. He smacked the bee and it fell to the ground dead. She grabbed his hand in midair. "Let me look, the stinger is still there. Give me just a second and I'll have it out." out of her pocket. She used a small amount of it and put it on his bee sting. Within seconds it had stopped hurting. She looked at the small tube and remembered a baby being with them.

"There was a baby with you guys wasn't there? Come on, let's go see what the verdict is and I need to find that mom." Leanne grabbed Chris by the hand and blushed tugging him along with her.

She couldn't help the curious look she gave Jason. How did he know about babies? He cleared it up moments later and she nodded. "You'd made a better mother than me," she commented as she watched Grace chew on his finger.

Kat flinched away when the teen boy started rubbing her back. She didn't like being touched by people she knew much less people she had just met. She unconciously moved closer to Jason. At least he was one she knew.
Her anger flared again as people made deals regarding her and her child. "Listen here, I am a grown woman. No one is making decisions regarding me and my daughter but me, understand?" she said sharply. How dare these brats think they could talk about her like she wasn't there? Her bitch side, which had gone away when Jason talked to her, came back in full force. Her arms tightened protectively around Grace and her back straightened, her jaw clenching ready to fight.
Her woman's heart, deep where she had buried it, like that Jason backed her up on the not making deals about her part. He also seemed miffed that the strange man before them was attempting to take over Kat and Grace. While she could take care of herself, she liked that she could count on him for backup. Him and his gun, which she was sure everyone noticed he was touching at the moment.

The teens talking wasn't making much sense to her so she just ignored most of it. It was like they were having a conversation that only made sense to the two of them. They must have been together for a long time.

"I haven't seen Ethan, but I'd sure as hell like to know where he is. In my opinion he should make out with the child-bride once his own child is taken care of," Kat answered Jason while bouncing Grace as the baby started to cry a little once again. She wasn't screaming but anyone nearby would hear her crying. "Shh baby, I know it hurts," she cooed gently, her personality doing a complete 180 when her attention was on her daughter. "I'm so sorry sweet girl. Shh..."

She was being bitchy about him and Nikki. In truth it didn't really bother her, the two of them being together. What did bother her like an abcessed tooth was the fact that while he was off playing tonsil hockey and God knew what else with the reincarnated Buffy action figure that his own child, who he swore to help care for, was crying and being verbally attacked and threatened with being kicked out by the people here.

Erin waited until the man spoke his peace, hands clenching and releasing her fists while he did, trying to decide on how to break this to them. This place was indeed vulnerable but the only place safe enough was the high school. With a child being dragged from place to place along with a very limited time frame the chances wasn't looking good. All the girl was trying to do was keep as many people as she could safe yet it seemed they were trying to bring her inner demon out. Her mouth opened only to clamp shut once more as Kathryn fliched away. Haru’s facial expression showed his hurt on his face, which wasn't unusual.

The clenching and releasing of the young woman’s fist quickened as the mother spoke. Clearly she was worried about the child, pissed off at the father, and who knew what else.” I hate to point out what you all most likely already know but I have to say it. First off that only two story building that I know of is the high school. Two is that we have a horde coming this way and Walkers hidden in the overgrown yards. Third thing is the very limited timing in which the horde arrives with a few miles still to go.” the lighter half stated before turning towards Haru.” Allow us to help get your group to safety at least. Because I don't want Erin to kill another bitten child in order to make sure they don't turn. I mean I really love this lovely Irish woman and eventually I would like to marry her.
