Zelda Flynn

Location: Hallway
Skills: Invisibility (unwillingly)

Zelda didn't exactly like the fact that for the most part no one seemingly cared that she had been around or noticed that she had even been in the room. Not to mention the fact that they were basically talking about mostly their team. And she was the one who ended up getting kicked to the sidelines in the perfect match up like she wasn't even there. Might as well not even be there or going to that meeting anyway if that was how the situation was going to play out.

Plus there had been the influx of emotions that everyone else was having, so many people were angry and going off on various things, and those weren't really the only issues that were going on. She really just wondered what everyone else's' thoughts were on that whole team thing. Aside from Victoria not participating in it at all. She had to guess there was going to be a bunch of arguments and all over that, totally was going to be fun.

Zarina Raynordattir

Location: Andy's Dorm Room
Skills: Technopathy

"I mean I can get that. Honestly too forever to get the watch to work. The reality hopping part of it was the incredibly easy portion. Since my mom not long after I was born had worked on making communications between realities possible. Which then helped lead to the reality jumping tech becoming more easily available to us. Time travel though was tricky, and took a lot of trial and error to get right," she commented with a bit of a shrug as she started following Andy as she was explaining all about the stuff that she had missed when she hadn't gotten to the meeting on time sort of thing.

"As for the framework stuff, I still don't even really know what happened to you guys there. I got drugged and poisoned sort of thing so I didn't get to see it or what happened," Zari added as they walked into Andy's room. Hearing Andy's question though about what she could or couldn't say to the therapist or whatever. "I mean, you can talk about whatever you want. I don't overly care. Remember when I straight up told people I was a half-Asgardian from the future and no one believed me? I typically say tell the truth and be honest. Also though I can't lie to save my life, since you know, my dad always can tell if I'm lying."

Outside New Orleans

"The list of people who could do something like that is pretty small when you think about it. Problem is whoever it is manages to stay hidden, and currently there is a different threat that's kind of a little more pressing. Maybe we can see about talking about that while we figure out the first of our several problems. Honestly should just start making a list that at this point is a mile long for it.

"Like where to set up the giant laser." Mira spoke up, looking at the others. "Simplest thing would be to find a place that we could set a trap for her, and then find a way to lure her to said trap. Issue here? The fact that the city has a lot of civilians, so we'd have to tread cautiously. And find the best place to set this up. Then figure out who'd be the best person to actually fire it off..."

"Max, you and Ben live here, do you have any idea where would be the best place to set this whole thing up would be..."

"I actually am a bit curious as to who you think is the one whose responsible for the magic blocking. Not sure if there is anyone around who'd be able to accomplish the feat." Klara commented, looking at Max with interest. She sincerely was wondering who it was that Max thought was the one responsible.

The conversation was interrupted however, by the sound of a rather loud crash sound, coming from a decent way away from them. Wasn't the sound of an explosion, no it was the sound of almost like a car crash, just about 5 times louder.

New Orleans Botanical Gardens

"Now see, you keep saying you want to help, but unless you've got a time machine that can send you back in time about a year and a half to fix things, because let me tell you. When someone basically mind controls you to do something you wouldn't normally do, and then having other people just constantly yell at you for stupid things within two seconds afterwards does tend to make one snap and not in a good way. That being you know, after the other slight stress that happened only 2 months before where literally everyone nearly got killed and then oh yeah, that big yelling blow up that occurred. So yeah, get a time machine and everything would be fine, you just might screw a bunch with the time line which might not be a good thing." Chrysi mused, laughing a little bit at what Ed was saying.

In her mind they had no idea the amount of stress that went into a lot of the choices that she made for various things. None of them could even possibly understand the thoughts or anything like that. So the only way to help would be to ensure that none of it happened. Which would have some big consequences. "Now, as for what exactly I'm stalling for, well, I'll let him explain."

"Wait who?" Pietro said, immediately looking around to see if someone else was there.

“And so I find the deceivers, inhibiting the good work of the Lord Thy God, the Phoenix who bears the cross in her genes - and she called unto me, her loyal servant, and bade me to spread her glory. And so I shall!” a voice called out, and Pietro's face went a bit pale hearing who it was.

Flying above them, was a familiar figure, with a bus floating above his head, as it was none other than Exodus. The guy who almost straight up murdered the speedster only a month before. And he launches it at the group.

Well, this was not going to end well. So Rogue had managed to grab Annie and Guin's bodies and pull them out of the way in time to avoid any damage. Meanwhile, Ed would be able to avoid the attack, getting out of the way. But the others oh no. Pietro they'd be able to see before the bus hit just completely froze up. He didn't even seem to try to avoid the attack like he was panicking. Jaclyn, Bethany and Perry all also would get hit by said bus. And all who got hit by it would get thrown backwards and have a lot of bumps and bruises and such. There would be a slight cracking sound as Perry would land awkwardly on her wrist, and Jaclyn would hit her head on the ground.

Though Pietro would not be doing too well. Having essentially taken a bit brunt of the hit. There was a very loud crack as Pietro hit the ground, and they would see his right leg and arm from where he landed were both now at very awkward angles that no one should be able to do ever.

"Will admit, was not expecting a bus but eh, you certainly know how to make an entrance."

Guin and Annie
The younger version of Mary glanced up at Annie when she spoke, before looking back towards Guin and Jean who were there. "Yes I did," she said simply, as she stood up from where she was, before turning around to face them all, tilting her head to the side. Almost like she was listening to something. "...I know why you came here... Though what you are going to try to do isn't exactly simple..."

"We figured it wouldn't be so simple... Do you know where we should go?"

"Well, see..." she started to say, before she took the crown she had been making and threw it forward, eventually it turned into a gateway, though they couldn't see what was on the other side. "She's hiding through there somewhere... You might find another version or two. Different aspects of who we are... But you'll probably know the one your looking for when you find her. Just the um... Other one is looking for her. So you might want to hurry. Probably won't be long until she comes here... It isn't so bad if she tries to destroy a piece here or there... But too many disappear and the chances of bringing her back are slim. So you hurry through. Because if you get caught there wouldn't be anything anyone could do to help you. If you can't find her through this portal, wherever you end up will have another doorway that's hidden... Good luck, you'll probably need it."

Through the portal, they'd find themselves now in a very familiar setting. Xavier's office. Charles Xavier was behind his desk, and there were a few other people who would be easily familiar in the room to them. Beast, Wolverine, and Mary were all there. Though Mary seemed a bit younger, not necessarily in full appearance, more of in terms of weariness. More like how she was back when the team had been working with SHIELD.

"You are crazy if you think it's a good idea to have him around," Wolverine grumbled, staring at Mary, and she sort of just rolled her eyes at that response.

"Last I checked you don't exactly get a say too much in it Logan, though I'll take your opinion into slight account. But tell me, isn't this place supposed to be somewhere sort of a safe haven for mutants who have no where else to go? So why not? Plus he helped us out. That explosion could have ended with casualties if he hadn't helped us out! Having him around will be better in the long run and you know it."

"Perhaps we should give him a chance," Beast mused, and Wolverine shot him a bit of a glare. "You don't have to necessarily like it, or want to be around him, however Marygold is correct. This is supposed to be a place for all mutants to come to, and live if they need a place."

"I can't believe you are actually entertaining this. After all he has done in the past you actually want to have him around. He's tried to kill several people, including some in this room right now, including you only a few years back." That line would allow Guin to likely figure out who they were talking about, and when this occurred, before the Mary in the room said anything.

"Get over it, people change and Pietro Maximoff never actually has killed anyone and you know it. He literally had his father more or less ordering him around for a decent chunk of his life, he chose to more or less turn himself in so to speak, to us, to try and make up for all that he had done in the past. We should give him a chance to prove himself and he deserves that second chance. Everyone deserves that sort of chance Logan, as long as they try to go forward to fix things and help."

"I don't know about this."

"Look, I get it. Most people don't agree with me, hell if Remy was here I'd probably get chewed out since he holds a bigger grudge over that whole thing I swear than anyone. But Pietro is trying to do the right thing. He deserves the chance to do it."

Xavier had been fairly quiet just listening to the arguing, before he spoke, "While Quicksilver has caused issues in the past for everyone here. I agree with Marygold, that he deserves a second chance to try and make amends. We should let him have that chance."

Logan left the room clearly not thrilled with the conversation that just took place. And Beast followed along afterwards. Mary ended up taking a chair by Xavier's desk, and the group would be able to hear them sort of discussing the events of the Hansen Power Plant, as well as Pietro having told them about a facility in the city that Magneto had.

One thing was apparent, that this didn't seem to be the Mary that they were looking for. So now came the hard part... Trying to find another doorway or portal through which to move around this area. Though the pair would hear another voice coming through. It was Pietro, and he sounded very panicked, Guina we literally just got hit by a bus by Exodus! was the only words they'd hear, but his voice was strained a bit.

Marygold

Focus: 90
Health: 90

She really wished that she hadn't really decided to venture out of the house. Considering how bad her luck and everything had been in the past year, was it really all that surprising? Personally, Mary didn't fully get what was even going on right now, considering that she did recognize a few of those who had caught her as members of the Thieves Guild, which was odd in and of itself. Since last she had checked, Remy was the King of the Thieves Guild. The others who had attacked her she didn't know who they were, but based on conversations, she thought that they likely weren't members. At least of the Thieves Guild anyway.

Having stolen one of Gambit's many trench coats (seriously the guy had an entire closet full of them) and had been wandering around the city, before she ended up down a side street and got attacked. It hadn't exactly gone too well for her, and the next thing she knew she was basically locked up somewhere. She was pretty sure they had injected her with a power inhibitor, but apparently they didn't get the memo that she didn't have any powers. They'd essentially been burned out by the Phoenix, either that or the device used to separate her and the Phoenix did something. So she currently was just sitting around since she ended up there a few hours before, unsure of what to do. Not even really having any sort of plans.

To think that a year ago, she would have probably tried more to create a plan to get out of whatever mess she was currently in, but no. That was definitely not the person she was anymore. She couldn't come up with any plans or ideas or anything. People were more likely to get hurt or caught in the crossfire who shouldn't be if she did that. No, definitely was a better idea to wait and see what was even the reason that she was there.

Simple list for us of things since my brain doesn't want to write out an elaborate thing explaining stuff.

  • Been a few months since Dark Phoenix happened, where Mary lost her powers
  • Mary gets more or less caught by a group of members from the Thieves Guild who are working with the Assassins to over throw Gambit's rule over it.
  • Stephen also ends up caught by the Assassins, who want to use him as leverage against his father who has a device that they are interested in acquiring.
  • They end up stuck together and in the middle of an almost all out war between the Guilds.
  • Chaos ensues.

Janelle Gauger

Location: Arena
Skills: Heightened Hearing

Janelle was waiting for Isaac to make the first move, just sort of listening to her surroundings, wondering when he would strike first. Sometimes it took a little while to orient herself completely, so he was able to strike her a few times with his sword quicker than she could defend herself. Took a moment for everything to orient itself again, and she managed to pin point him again, before she went on the attack.

She managed to land a few hits on Isaac that were fairly solid. Whirling her staff around as he managed to hit him a few times and knocking him back. Listening again to ensure that hopefully this time she heard him before he struck out at her to allow her to more easily dodge his next attack. This was definitely going to be an interesting sparring match to say the least.
