I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.
Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss
Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)
Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.
Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.
RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.
As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.
RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.
And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.
Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.
Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...
Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.
Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.
Billy was strong, but he had run out of options. The flesh slug had missed its mark, and he couldn't really take a second direct hit from Mariette. While he was trying to dodge, both Hilaria and Sophia rushed him down. Hilaria's massive shield struck him in the back, forcing his club directly in line with the pirate's ax. With a single cut, the hood ornament fell in two. Between being heated by the laser and struck with a magical weapon. it couldn't stay together. The flesh worm expired on the spot.
"What's this?" Billy dropped his club and caught the fragmented hood ornament in his hand. "My angel! Where-" Billy swung his head up towards the sky. "I say where the hell did the time go?" His magic was fading out of this world, and it was visible. The flesh slug deflated, his bone armor started to fall apart, but his eyes were still locked on the hood ornament. "I don't understand. Back in the day everyone wanted a ride. Everybody wanted to be seen in Billy's Cadillac. What ever happened to those days." Billy stood up. "Did I get enough leather? Was it enough to restore my baby?" He dropped the fragments. "It doesn't matter anymore."
Amaryllis's advance was delayed, since she was hit by Billy's bony fingers. But the dejected lich wasn't going anywhere. The last of his being faded away in the maw of the sword.
”!”
— Nuncio
"Seems I was late to the party." Nuncio spoke as calmly as he could, but he was watching a bleeding, half naked woman's sword devour a bone monster of some sort. He reached out for the white tiger that stood by his side. "Are ya still fightin? Dame's not gunna go wild and attack us right?"
Feral could feel the moment Endsinger expired. It was a shame, it wanted to be the thing that ended her, but more pressing was that the spirits were starting to leave. Not just the spirits, they were taking their grudges with them. Feral would have limited time to act. It would be tempting to try and jump Emily right now. She was vulnerable, if a bit guarded. Feral was sure that it and its double would be enough to overpower Emily, but where was the pleasure in that? Feral knew that with the fleeting grudges, it would not be able to fight Helga and win. So Feral would retreat for now. With a gasp, Lupa would sink to her knees and return to her original shape. There would be other opportunities.
Not for the Feral clones however.
The one behind Lupa rushed off to join its companions around Endsinger's corpse. They knew enough not to enter the null field, but were ready to attack anything and everything that left it. They were no different than hungry piranhas, and would sacrifice themselves for a drop of blood. The clock was ticking after all.
I've been holding off on doing my "New year Hype" because I was waiting for Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage to clear the fifth case. And now that it has! We can pop some corks and drink with dorks!
It's not easy to stick with an RP that's been around for 3 solid years, but @Mateotis and @Majoras End are the reason why I can continue this RP. I did say I would finish this RP so long as I had one player, and I'm fortunate enough to still have two! I think this is going to be the year Davis is defeated, and I'm kind of excited to see it happen.
Outside of my own projects, I've participated in a few. Mostly the series of magical girl roleplays run by @Ariamis, who was also a former player in my Danganronpa RP. And his roleplay is also on its third year and is still running strong! He must be doing something right. Rather than tagging all the players, I'd just like to tag the two who go above and beyond to make it interesting for me. Who would be @ERode and @Rune_Alchemist. Both are welcome additions to the roster, and on some days they are the reason I don't quit, haha!
But roleplays do end, or at the very least, players tend to go their separate ways. But it doesn't always have to be forever. I've had the pleasure of talking with @Melo recently, and it's nice to know he's doing well. And while I haven't talked to her in some time, I'd like to give a shout out to @Aewin for all the work she did for Tower of Carnage. We still use her banners, and of everyone who left, she is most sorely missed. And I'm unsure if he'll ever read this, but @Warpcircuit was great fun when he was with us. Even if he had me clawing my scalp out some days.
And now I'm getting to the person I really want to talk about. The one I was thinking about before I started writing these out. I'm not sure if it's the best or worst I saved for last, but it's @FamishedPants. He's been with me through thick and thin, he assassinates my brain cells via shit posts, and might just be the tism incarnate. It's hard to say if we are rivals or friends at this stage, and I honestly don't care. gunna kill silhouette this season, cutie <3
@Ammokkx Oh shit fam, am I being interrogated? Is there something wrong with lurking RPs that I use to be a part of? are you going to bust out the interrogation tools and make me talk? Guess I'd better come clean.
I'm sure you're aware that the Danganronpa formula doesn't squarely lend itself to the play by post experience. I speak as someone who's been running their Danganronpa RP since before the conception of this one pre=reboot. You may remember me giving mad props to @TheSeriousJoke last year. Running a 100% vanilla Danganronpa game is hard work, and I really do respect them as a fellow GM. had things moved a bit faster and I not had so many other irons in the fire I would have stuck around.
Now, fast forward a few months, my RP starts hemorrhaging a lot of users. Some nope out formally, but most just fade away without a word. Even the murder for my 4th case noped out without as much as a goodbye. I'm not one to stop moving forward, and neither are the players who stuck by me. The case was eventually completed and it just ended a week or so ago. Case closed, bad guy punished. Naturally I reflect on everything and wonder where and what my old players are doing. Turns out one of them still posts in here. Naturally I lurked, spotted you, spotted you calling out a lurker, and had to snipe you as fast as possible.
In hindsight, it was probably unnecessary.
Was that satisfactory? Can I phone my dog? I just wanna go home.
"Not cool." Denis repeated before folding his arms. "Not cool at all."
Noel leaned on her podium. "All you needed to do was confront Jezebel about it. There were ways around this."
Max shrugged his shoulders. "There's a reason I'm not the infinite detective."
"But you're gunna be infinitely dead in just a second, and I bet a few of you are pretty excited to see it happen!" Monokuma raised his paws into the air "It's punishment time!"
POLICE BRUTALITY
click the gif for BGM
Max was standing inside a high security prison. The walls were lined with monokuma bots wearing jumpsuits, making lots of noise and occasionally throwing trash at the police officer. It was clear max was nervous, but he kept his gaze straight ahead. Because in the hall with him was a mob of carnage sisters dressed as fellow police officers, and standing behind them was every carnage class chassis they had faced up until now, who were also wearing police outfits. Kyra was in the lead, and they all had their batons drawn as they bared down on him.
Max had nowhere to go. To his back was a concrete wall with no way around the incoming sisters. All he had at his disposal was a knife. Previously he had been fool enough to think it would be an effective weapon to kill a carnage class chassis, but not anymore. Perhapse in an attempt to give himself an easy way out, he turned the knife on himself, only to discover it was a prop blade. He didn’t have much tome to reflect on his mistake before he was enveloped by the carnage sisters.
Lucy cleared her throat. ”So he kills off everyone like that? Why do you all look okay with this?”
Emily shook her head. ”It’s just happened so many times. It’s sad, but you almost get use to it. It’s not that we don’t care, but we need to be strong if we want to prevent ourselves from falling into despair.”
”I’m just tired of grieving. Once someone’s dead, the tears are for you and you alone.I’m just tired of feeling sorry for myself.” Bliss closed her eyes. ”But what Max said was true. Faith sacrificed herself for Jezebel. There are still good people who walk among us, even if so many have died.”
“Well, like, I’m glad some of you can put on a brave face. But I feel like shit,” Jezebel wiped her eyes with her sleeve. “I wasn’t very nice to her towards the end.”
Denis put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. ”She still like you.” He forced a smile. ”In end, she think you worth saving. She protect you with life. She not too nice at end if memory correct.” He took a step back. ”It okay feel sad. You lost friend.”
“Zachary…” Jezebel’s voice cracked. “Did you want to get out of here?”

CHAPTER 5: THE PENALTY OF JUSTICE
Hello everyone, Dr. Killgood with a prescription of monokuma theater!
You know something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately is retirement. I’m getting older, and I feel I’ve lot a step or two. There are a lot of young cubs that want to take my place, but they don’t have the experience, charm, or wit to do it!
Those damn youngsters are ruining everything! They don’t buy houses! They don’t play gulf! They don’t watch cable TV! They aren’t into casual dining! They aren’t buying napkins! They don’t go to the movies! They don’t go on cruises! They don’t wear suits! They don’t even use bar soap!
