Hanna tilted her head slightly at Anni's initial response. Although, Hanna kept the warm, inviting smile in an attempt to use Jedi mind tricks on the gal -- and it worked! Anni seemed reluctant in her surrender, going against all of her instincts, but it was impressive that she even considered it to begin with. Hanna momentarily raised both of her eyebrows at the comment about being the neighborhood chatterbox, although in good spirits. “How could you tell?” she chuckled. Anni's flippant attitude suited her much better now, especially with that new look. Hanna let her eyes throw a quick glance at the girl from head to toe -- it was pulled off surprisingly well.

Ivory seemed to be a little bit off her game. She sounded more like a politician trying to convince an uninterested voter than an old classmate. However, this was Ivy's strength back then. She really had that high-society, high-effort thing down to a tee. “Will you relax, babe? We're not trying to sway voters here,” Hanna said with a rapid pace and at a reduced tone, meant only for Ivy, even if Anni would clearly be able to hear it. “You do look amazing, Anni. I just love what you've done with your hair. It really suits you, and the look you're going for here. Absolutely stellar --” Hanna fired up while starting to rumble through her handbag for her wallet. “Bartender!” She nearly shouted, busting herself as it happened, quickly covering her mouth to shut herself up. “Bartender,” Hanna began again after the man's attention had arrived: “Could I have a good old Screwdriver, please, and I'd also like to pay for everyone here,” she said and discretely indicated Ivy, Anni, and Lucas. “And I don't want to hear anything from you--” Hanna stared at Ivy for a split second. If it was not clear that it was about the money, then she would have to spill it out in plain English later. “Or anyone else for that matter,” she said and returned eye contact with the bartender. “And that's that. We're going to have a good fucking time tonight,” Hanna promptly concluded and handed the Bartender her credit card. “I have no idea why everyone gushes over Hasanabi so much, he's not that fucking hot,” Hanna followed up her order with her famous 720-spin turnaround in topics of discussion.

CJ introduced herself to the modest gathering in an ever so casual way, as one would expect. Hanna's smile crept back onto her lips after the momentary bewilderment concerning a political meme streamer, of all things. “Drinks on me CJ, so help yourself to whatever you want,” Hanna said and indicated to the bartender to include CJ in Hanna's tab. “I'm not trying to suck anyone's dick here, but I don't e-whore for nothing, so we might as well put that simp money to good use.” Hanna had been quite unfiltered in her speech during High School, but her adventures online ever since had certainly loosened up her language use by some margin, to say the least. There was such a thing as talking too much even in Hanna's mind. It was without doubt a nervous defensive mechanism. She was no stranger to being social, but that did not mean that Hanna was completely immune to its various intricacies and conundrums. However, she figured that staying loose and not making a huge thing out of not having seen each other for some time was the best way to go about this reunion.

Hanna finally shut her mouth for a second while watching the bartender get her drink ready.

The familiar scent of her old friend filled Hanna with long-lost joy and a sense of purpose. They were quite the team back in the day, accomplishing things of all calibers with great effect. As they released from the embrace, Hanna had to shoot her gaze towards the ceiling in order to slow down the waterworks, pushing gently below her eyes to manage and prevent a mess. She was slightly emotionally eccentric these days, and nostalgia was like sprinkling water on cooking oil in a hot pan in this case. "Not this, holy fuck," her thoughts muttered before the chatterbox spun right up.

“Oh my Christ, I don't even know where to start. So much has happened since last time. By the way, I'm so sorry that I haven't contacted you, babe -- but there's literally been some fucked up shit distracting me all the time, and this Streaming thing is so time-consuming. Do you use Twitch at all or watch streamers? You totally should. I'll make you a supermod VIP in my Chat right away. Anyway, fuck, I love your hair--” Hanna managed to interrupt herself for a split second, gently feeling the soft texture of the tips of Ivy's hair. “I brought all kinds of stuff for you. I have this deal with a company and their product line through the, well, Instagram stuff, I don't know if you've seen that -- anyway, that's not important. So, I brought some of the stuff that I get for free, anyway, for promoting it, right -- there's foundation, mascara, all sorts of shit for your nails, absolutely amazing conditioner, you'll love it. It's all back at the hotel in Portland, but we'll take care of it after this thing, alright? You can't say no, because I ain't leaving until you come get it -- it'll be great, we can do a little shopping as well, on me.” Hanna's mouth ran at full throttle. It was clearly, without any shred of doubt or misconception, a sign of being extremely excited and elevated. "Right back to Ritman days, huh? I thought I had changed at least a little bit. I guess this is what reunions do. They slap you right in the face and tell you that you accomplished nothing," Hanna's mind wandered in the middle of her babbling.

“Wait -- is that Anni Simcox and Lucas Watson right over there?” Hanna half-whispered as she interrupted her megaphone of a mouth, abruptly enough to be somewhat noticeable against the sound bed of music in the background. Hanna waited a brief moment for Ivy to glance at them or in some way confirm it. “It is, right?” She added before throwing gasoline on her fiery loud voice again: “Anni, Lucas -- is that you? Hey! What the Hell, you guys don't say 'hello' or anything? Come and sit here with us, damn it.” Hanna waved at the two, just a few feet away, bright smiles all around to appear as inviting as possible to both of them. Reunions were probably worse than the first day of High School in terms of awkwardness and every other pain in the book. Although, luckily, they had Hanna Whittle there -- the biggest fucking Ice Breaker on this side of the planet. "Don't fuck this up, Banana. You only have 1 shot with these guys this time," she thought.

Hanna had stayed at a hotel in Portland. She had wanted to go back home and visit her parents, but at the same time, there was the issue of her semi-public life and privacy. Although, she had promised her parents that she would visit, at some point, before going back to NYC. Hanna intended to keep up with her Steaming schedule, regardless of this little trip back home. She had made a sort of event out of it, another IRL stream, but different from the usual ones. The typical endeavor was to see and visit touristy locations and activities in and around NYC. These kinds of streams typically attracted more viewers than Hanna's gaming session. She figured it was because the people she knew on the influencer/fashion side of her professional life were able to tune in as well, having some kind of common ground to enjoy. However, the majority of her viewers were still the loyal army of simps and autists.

She took an Uber to Delton. The driver seemed unfamiliar with the small town in the middle of some crossroads, but Hanna assured him that it was quite easy to find and that any mishaps were quite alright. Hanna spent that time during the drive to get the Chat up to speed regarding all things Ritman High. It was as though pages from some excessive history tome spilled out of her mouth, as she kept yapping away without much pause. Eventually, the driver sort of chuckled at some of the more amusing points, which Hanna picked up on and included them in the 'conversation'. They killed time quite effectively, and before they knew it, they had arrived at the outskirts of Delton. Hanna had, at that point, finally reached the event at hand in her endless prattle.

“So, Ivy is going to be there -- obviously. Let me tell you, Chat: I fucking love this bitch like you wouldn't believe. She's like a superhuman or some shit. Ivy, essentially, ran the whole school and took care of everything. I'm pretty sure there's an alien in there, in her body, or something. Anyway, so, I'm kinda excited to see my sistha from anotha mistha again. And then, there's JD. I didn't quite expect her to RSVP to this thing. That kind of surprised me, but in a good way -- don't get me wrong.” The girl could barely take a quick sip of air before continuing her babbling. “This is all super cute and everything, but I can't say that I spoke with JD a whole lot. Although, I mean, you know me, Chat, I fucking talk non-stop, so me saying that I didn't talk with someone a lot should be a normal amount of talking to any other human being. We did get together at a few parties here and there, but that was about it. Anyway, JD is sweet, very laid back -- perhaps too much.” She chuckled while removing her seatbelt, thanking the driver, and stepping out of the car. A short walk to P.J's allowed Hanna to go on a bit more. “Now, the others that are apparently coming to this thing are an interesting bunch. I don't think I have a whole lot in common with them, but, I mean, that's never stopped me before, so why would it now?” She smiled and looked into the camera of her phone, and then shifted her attention to the Chat, which flowed with the usual kind of comments and emote spam. There were about three thousand viewers watching Hanna's stream at the moment.

“Now, one of these others is CJ. I spoke with her as I speak to literally anyone, but at least she, I don't know, somewhat heard what I said and reacted to it. But, I mean, I liked talking to everyone back then, even if it was like talking to a wall sometimes. So, maybe she's changed now, but I didn't have anything against her back then. On the other hand, I think Anni didn't quite just let me slide as the others did. I don't think she hated me or anything, but I could tell that I didn't come off as a 100% to her, for whatever reason, I still have no clue.” The girl chatted away without much worry for her surroundings, approaching P.J's from some obscure angle because the Uber driver could not quite find his way around Delton. “Lastly, there's Lucas.” Hanna began but sighed slightly before continuing. “I really tried, Chat -- I REALLY did. It seemed like there were so many issues surrounding this boy that wasn't really his fault. There were also these nasty rumors floating around on social media back then, and I tried my best to sort of dispel all that. There was nasty shit, like, he was a you-know-what shooter and everything.” Hanna said but lowered her voice as she mentioned the shooter part, avoiding to put the words 'school' and 'shooter' together so that she would not get in trouble. The Chat started to spam 'MonkaS' with a few 'Pepehands' in there. “Maybe I shouldn't talk about all this stuff, holy shit -- I should learn to shut up, at least sometimes. Oh well, it's out there now.” Hanna said and stopped right outside of P.J's, observing the flow of the Chat, and reading comments. “Anyway, Chat, I'm going to close right here. I'd bring you guys in with me, but I have no idea how the others would react to that, so let's give 'em some privacy, eh? I'll be on again tomorrow.” Hanna said and kissed the air in front of the camera on the phone to the Chat, closing things down.

Hanna was a bit distracted by the Stream. Even if she would have noticed Anni standing by the car, or rather just about to step out of it, Hanna might not have recognized her because of the hair and two years' worth of changes. Only brief moments separated the two from an outside encounter. Hanna managed to take a breath or two during the few seconds that she lingered in front of P. Johnson's main entrance. Okay, here we go. Deep breaths, in and out. I hope I don't make an ass out of myself, Hanna thought to herself but interrupted that moment of calm almost right away: “AAHH! Ivy!” A high-pitch screech swiftly escaped Hanna's stupidly wide smile and clenching eyes, lashes almost sticking together, as she stepped inside and felt the air of nostaliga. The girl nearly crashed into Ivory's presence at the bar for one of those hugs that only happens a few times throughout an entire lifetime.

After some discussion on the Discord, I'm changing my entry to this character. The power and all that is the same, though.

Dearly departed, yet memories live on. They're kind of samey, though.

Oh man, the characters are great so far from everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed going through the sheets, and the music. I freshened up my character from the previous iteration, making a few adjustments and rewriting some things. I realize I jumped ship last time, but the lack of posting everywhere (in my own game as well) really got to me. But, I'll give this my all, regardless, again, if we get around to it. I'm okay with being cut, though, to make room for someone else if you get a lot of players.

Edit: not using this character.
So, I have ChatGPT plus and access to version 4. I put 3 posts of mine into it from my 'The Spirits Within' roleplay. I let it analyze my writing, and then I asked it to write a simple post for my character where she fights some monster. Here's the result, if anyone is interested in seeing how it does.

I'm not the best writer, to say the least, but there's certainly a noticeable difference.
@BangoSkank
Aye, I've used Wombo before. It's quite amazing for a free model. I see they've updated things quite a bit since last I used it.

Yeah, there is this interesting parameter in Midj called 'chaos' that you can add. It sort of shakes things up even further based on what you put into it, so you can get quite different results.
