@Mao Mao is accepted. You can add your sheet to the Character Tab.

They also get special thanks for reminding me I needed to add [code] tags in order for the character sheet to be copiable. That should now be fixed.
Ben Urich - Daredevil's contact in the New York Bulletin. One of the last truly good reporters in New York, he's been working the Kingpin case for close to twenty years. Isn't aware of Daredevil's true identity and doesn't care who he is - the minute that Kingpin is brought down, he's convinced that he'll turn his efforts towards exposing the vigilante, aswell.

I currently have Urich set as a Spider-Man NPC and anchor for Frontline, but should you be accepted I'll switch him out for another character so that you can use Urich without conflict.

Just to add to this slightly, you may want to update how the sheet is displayed within the original post here. I had issues getting the empty sheet through quoting it, and had to get it from someone else's post! Unless I'm being dumb and there's a much easier way to get it that I missed.

Hm. I'll look into this.
Some general lore that all Earth-bound or knowledgeable characters would be aware of:

The Sentinel Program, led by Trask, was a United Nations effort. To date, it has three publicly known successes. First are the Sentinel drones, about the size of fighter jets, capable of atmospheric and spaceflight. Their weaponry proved capable of penetrating Chitauri wreckage in tests.

Second, a network of satellites in low Earth orbit capable of initiating a powerful electromagnetic field around the planet as a defensive shield for a limited time. While scaled versions of the satellites were tested on the ground, for obvious reasons the electromagnetic forcefield has not undergone practical tests.

Finally, the Sentinel Program's earliest success is the orbital space station, Bastion. Bastion station was designed to detect anomalies within local space and be an early-warning system for future alien assaults. It also serves as a carrier for the drone flotilla.

The Sentinel Program is lauded by the general public and viewed as Earth's best defense against further threats.

I'm not sure how I want to organize this kind of general lore, but placing it on the timeline felt superfluous.
after a busy weekend of christmas parties and concerts, finally got around to finishing my sample!

To my shame, I realize I also got a little premature here. For some reason, when looking at your character sheet, I didn't notice the sample had only just been added this morning. Join AndyC in the "we cheated the system" club.

Can't tell you how much I love the idea of potential Fred Myers/Ringer team-up posts...

Late responding to this, but funnily enough I was planning on getting some help from you when it came to 'ol Boomerang's dialogue.

Alright, got my concept done faster than I anticipated; still need to do that sample post, but I've got something cookin' that I could do sooner than later. Hopefully everything here tracks, tried my best to make this clean and comprehensive like the rest of the quality sheets around here :)

Though I prolly got a little too wordy in my Character Concept section....Oops!

Figured I'd let you know that, while obviously you still have to wait the time to be accepted, this concept is perfectly acceptable and does not fall under the villainous POV, so you're all good.

Let me know if you want help figuring out how to format the character sheet so it looks like the others. I know it can be tricky if you aren't familiar with the Guild's coding.

Also, as a general notice, please keep questionable topics out of the OOC.

I take it that I'm about to get a PM? Asking so I can make some time to respond.

Nope. Our previous convo from the IntCheck was good enough. Your sample just hasn't existed for 48 hours yet. So someone else could still apply and compete for the X-Men until then.
@Retired will you include cosmic stuff?

Check your PMs.
Okay, so, first thing first: @Bork Lazer, @TGM, @webboysurf, @Hound55, @Natty, and @Sep are all accepted and can move their sheets to the Character Tab. I appreciate your patience.

I believe that everyone else who would be at or past the 48-hour threshold lacks a sample.

I'm about to send out some PMs to people that either a) are about minor adjustments, b) provide background lore relevant to their characters, or c) discuss problems I see with their sheet so they can work on them without having to wait the full 48 hours.

The IC will likely be opened tomorrow, and the first mini-event will be introduced a week later.
Okay. My fever is in the process of breaking and I no longer feel woozy and in pain when I'm sitting and moving, so I can start catching up since I'm behind on accepting a few people and messaging others.

Give me a few hours to get some IRL things sorted out, and then I'll get to work.
