Natalie Ellis

Natalie was in the park, sitting on a bench, staring vacantly at the pond. This had become a habit. Ever since Homecoming. Things were going so well. She felt normal. She'd kissed Archie and it was like the floodgates opened. She felt happy and excited and trult content. Then it was immediately taken away. Airanna was there. Upon seeing Radvi....Natalie had shut down. There was chaos around her, but she'd frozen. Sounds became just noise. Archie had picked Eli up, said something and walked away. People came and took her to her room. She must have been walking with them but she didn't remember moving her feet.

There was no point. There was no point even trying to be a person while Arianna was out there. The toll Homecoming had taken on Natalie's mental health was very noticeable to her therapist, who was helping. Natalie's nightmares were worse. Her temper had gotten worse, and she would cry a lot. With little warning. Sometimes in public. She had seen Archie exactly once since Homecoming, just over a week after, but she told him she needed to get well before they had a second date.

Natalie wasn't sure if she was better now. If the pain has lessened or if she'd just grown numb to it. Either way, she would be seeing her friends today, and she now considered them all friends, even Archie. It was December the 5th. There would be new recruits to The Promise. Maybe some new blood might help things...somehow.

There was a new text from Cara.

"New arrivals scheduled to board at 1PM! Be at the Loading Bay or be square!"

As her phone was already out, Natalie started writing a text to Archie. She ideally wanted to see him private first, and not in a big noisy group, in public. She deleted and rewrote her message several times, before just deleting the whole thing in frustration. She'd gotten rusty, and wanted this first text in a while to be good. Then she got an idea. She wasn't sure if it was a good one. But she was going to do it.

"Cara?" She asked into her phone. "Could you tell me the current location of Archie Anderson?"
Jamin Redman

The alarm clock was put on snooze. For the fourth time that morning. Benjamin decided to reluctantly open his eyes to read the time, and immediately shout out of bed fueled by panic and adrenaline. He was going to be late! How did it manage to get so late without his notice?!

Hastily throwing on a black Wu-tang clan t-shirt and the nearest pants he had to hand, which were sweat pants, Jamin descended the stairs, grabbed his schoolbag, shouted a quick "Ma! I'm late! I'll see you later!" in the direction of the kitchen, and grabbed his jacket. He was already out the door and running along the sidewalk by the time he finished putting it on. There was no way he'd be able to make it in time on foot. Maybe. Maybe just this once...

Jamin had arrived at the classroom only a few minutes late, which was notably early for him. However at present he was inside the natural history museum. The bus ride had been uneventful. This whole day was, as far as Jamin was concerned, a write-off. It was an excuse to not be at school. He rummaged through his bag, taking out his headphones and a Sony Walkman, and was about to use them when he overheard one of his classmates remind them that they'll probably be tested on this. He inwardly cursed to himself. She was right, of course. Now that she mentioned it, they definitely would. He watched the student who'd given him this food for thought as she left. Aela Avdol. Not somebody who Jamin thought had any leg to stand on when it came to putting the work in. Not that she had to. She seemed to be naturally talented, while Jamin's approach to scholarly success usually involved playing it cool until the last possible second and then pulling a panicked all-nighter in order to get a B or C.

So, Jamin decided to look around. Most of the things he read were forgotten the moment he took his eyes away from the signs. However, one of the attractions finally caught his attention. It was a little Terracotta toy cart, made in some country he'd never heard the name of, dating back to a number he wouldn't remember BC. Still, it raised a chuckle out of him. Guess even back then, kids played with Hot Wheels.
I am definitely interested

Natalie wiped her mouth and managed a little chuckle in reply to Archie's laugh. Now he was no longer nervous, she was much more relaxed too. She still wouldn't go as far as to say she wasn't nervous, though. His hand running up her back had felt weird. Not good or bad, but like....like it made her entire nervous system glitch out for a second. Archie then downed his drink, making a show of it, and Natalie giggled and clapped as he did so. She was actually genuinely impressed he'd managed to do that with something stronger than what Natalie had taken a small sip of. He clearly didn't enjoy that but if impressive things were easy, they wouldn't be impressive.

She conceded that her drink was strong, and these 'jello shots' might be the way to go. That's when she noticed that Lynn's face betrayed that she wasn't having a good time, and Lynn went further into the woods. Eli and Amelia went after her, so Nat didn't feel the need to get up herself and check on Lynn. She wasn't sure if she'd be welcome anyway. Lynn was in good hands. She'd have to check up on Lynn later, though. For now she took another, smaller sip of her drink. It was actually very sweet but the rum was still overpowering. She didn't cough this time, at least.

Archie's heart monitor went off, and Natalie put her drink down, and put her hand on Archie's arm. "It's okay. I know how annoying those things are. They gave me a shock collar on the first day, if you remember, when they thought my...condition was caused by heart rate too, instead of fear. They are annoying, but they're necessary."
Thank you. And if you ever need an enemy stand user to get killed, hit me up too.
Awwww, is this full? Anyway, I think I'll keep an eye on this canon anyway.

Lydia Creel

Lydia watched these two new arrivals as they blustered their way in like a comedy act. The first impression Lydia got of them, besides both being very attractive (this was superhero school. Most everyone was attractive) was that they both seemed kind of childish, calling dibs and stuff. Lydia's foster family had outgrown this kind of behavior in their early teens. It was clear these were siblings, and from the way the boy talked, it was obvious they were Asgardians.

Soren seemed to be particularly interested in Binx, before somebody who looked a little like Nightcrawler, and could well have been, popped into the room and dropped a girl into the guy's arms, before popping back out again. The guy immediately and clearly started hitting on her in the least smooth way Lydia had ever heard. The sister then introduced them both to Binx and Lydia, and asked if either of them were HulkStan62.

"I'm Lydia Creel. And if you're Charlotte Danvers-Thordottir, I'm your roommate," Lydia introduced, letting Binx handle her own introductions. "I'm not HulkStan62 but I've heard of them. I actually follow her series. Why, are they here at Mobius?"

Gene Green

After Michael left, Gene took out his keycard, got up and went to his room. He finally decided to check it out, and it was niiiice! He was expecting some kind of student accommodation, and it was still a dorm, but it was a five star dorm! He found his bags next to his bed and began to unpack. He took care to make sure that he only used half the drawers, half the wardrobe space, etc. After he was finished he laid down on his bed (the top bunk) and just lay there, jetlagged from the trip and glad to get some downtime.

Mina was taken off to the side along with Reina after they were told that they would be playing Cops and Robbers with the prefects. Mina was excited. Her powers would help to incapacitate people, but not so much to keep them down. She was thinking about strategies when she and Reina stopped besides Grayson, who then chastised Reina for being injured, and chastised them both for not wearing their costumes. The costume thing didn't bother Mina, because he was right, and she was half-expecting it. She bowed her head.

"I'm sorry. My costume takes more than five minutes to change into. This incident has made me realize that I should probably rethink and redesign it."

Mina was about to leave and rejoin the others, but Reina's reaction to getting told weak was interesting. It was similar to Mina's own, and Mina felt herself empathizing. Despite herself, Mina cracked a small smile at Reina's parting words and turned her attention back to Grayson. She bowed again, still with that grin on her face, and turned to follow Reina. On the way, her eyes caught Amane standing to the side. She quickly looked away. She wasn't even ready to acknowledge his presence yet.

"Hey," Mina spoke to Reina, catching up to her, and offering her a fist to bump along with a friendly smile. "I speak from experience here. Don't let them get in your head. We're going to make him eat his words."

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi listened carefully to Grayson's briefing, before getting called into a huddle by the very tall girl. So, they were playing Cops and Robbers. And 1-A were the cops. Hotomi was nervois. She was no match for the prefects in terms of quirk power, and they most definitely had the edge in terms of training and brains after three years of hero lessons. However she might stand a chance of not getting taken out by them due to her Sheep Sense, which is why she'd be most suited to slowing one down and keeping them occupied.

So when Dulga explained that there'd be a team to keep them occupied and a team to deal the damage, Hitomi was confused why she'd be on the latter, but then Dulga elaborated that Lance Team would be hit and run skirmishers while the Hammer Team's job is to box them in, that made much more sense. Hitomi isn't the most fast or mobile but would be best served, as she'd already worked out, keeping them occupied and locked into a fight. She had yet to test her wool bombs but maybe they'd help bring the right prefect down. She'd have to make sure their quirk didn't nullify them first, however.
