Torvi weaved her way through people towards the bar, keeping very alert of her proximity to the stumbling, drunk fools of the bar. Last thing they needed was for someone to knock into her and somehow cause her ears to be revealed. While she had confidence that not many would notice, it still wasn’t a risk she wanted to take. She made it to the bar and patiently waited for the bartender. A man beside her looked over and smiled stupidly at her to which she promptly ignored him. However, when he opened his mouth to speak she gave him a look that seemed to deter him and make him turn back to his drink.

Finally the bartender came over and she ordered two more meads while sliding her stolen amas over to the man. As time went on the tavern seemed to be getting busier, much to Torvi’s surprise. It still seemed pretty early in the day for people to be drinking, but maybe things were different here. Or maybe life was just rough enough that people drank more often to help them to forget things. That was something she could understand, after all weren’t her and Bowyn doing the same thing?

As the bartender brought the drinks back, a man had entered the tavern and quickly made his way up to the bar. ”Hey Alatri, have you heard what happened yet in the marketplace? Apparently someone tried to assassinate some pompous Light Elf governor!” The man explained and it caught Torvi’s attention a bit. An assassination attempt on a governor of this world? How intriguing…

She took her drinks and left to head back to their table, her mind now pondering what she’d heard. She set the mead down in front of Bowyn before she sat down herself. ”So I just overheard something interesting. Apparently there was an assassination attempt on some Light Elf governor in the marketplace.” She told him before taking a drink of the fresh alcohol. She savored it for a moment before speaking what was on her mind. ”Do you think it could have been orchestrated by some rebels?” Her tone was hushed as she asked him his opinion.

Kenia watched Zelginn closely, that darkness still there. One of her hands had slowly moved to where she had one of her poison laced daggers hidden on her person. She would only use it if she absolutely needed, knowing if she did than questions would eventually be asked by Malachi. Though questions were probably already going to be asked after this child left and it caused Kenia to feel a bit of anger towards the intruder. How was she to explain things to Malachi without ruining his trust in her? Could she come up with a convincing lie or would it be best to just tell the truth? She would have to explain more of her past if she did so and she wasn’t quite sure she was ready for that. She decided she would cross that bridge once it arrived.

Thankfully Zelginn decided to leave, but not before making what sounded like a veiled threat. It only confirmed her decision to make him leave. He was a danger and they now would have to be even more cautious with everything they did. She sighed as she stared out the now broken window. ”I need a drink… She mumbled as she shook her head before moving to grab the broom Rei and Cora had left from earlier and began sweeping up the glass. The soot trail would definitely need the mop. Just looking at the mess Zelginn had left behind made her even more irritated.

”What in the world is going on? I hear all this commotion, find soot everywhere, discover one of the dogs closed up in the pantry, and then come here to see you cleaning up glass from a broken window.” The booming voice of Kenia’s father, Nym, travelled to her ears and she spun to see him. She immediately had the look of a scolded child as her gaze dropped to the floor.

”I’m sorry Papa, we’ve had quite the...eventful morning. We had an intruder in the house, quite a mischievous intruder. He’s the one that caused all the commotion and then left through the window.” She explained as she finally got the courage to look up at her father again. The alarm in his eyes didn’t help her unease at all. He glanced over to Malachi as well as if to ask him to confirm his daughter’s story.

”If that be the case then I fear it may not be safe to train with the other two today, just in case this intruder sticks around to try and see something.” Nym suggested and Kenia knew he was probably right, however she looked to Malachi for his opinion.

Azriel found such joy in Umber’s desire to mess with O’Ner as well and couldn’t contain her giggle as he ordered more dancers for the undead man. She watched briefly for O’Ner’s reaction before turning her attention back to Xenelith. His explanation of the group he had come across was quite intriguing to her, especially when he began explaining the fox to them. Something had obviously happened there that he held some sort of resentment for the man. ”Now, now Xenelith, remember not to underestimate your enemy.” She said to him teasingly as she took the wine and poured herself some. She took a drink of it and grinned, enjoying the warmth the alcohol provided.

The prospect of the male fairy being cowardly was intriguing to her. Was he really a coward? Part of her hoped so as she did enjoy cowards. They were the most fun to torture, at least until they started begging for their lives. That’s when they bored her and she needed to rid herself of them. Would this moth fairy beg for his life? She hoped not.

Her attention turned to O’Ner once more as he asked what their first plan of action should be once they got to the ball. ”Well observe, of course. Better to let our enemy make the first move, no?” She suggested as her eyes fell on the hookah the women finished setting up. The rest of the drugs they’d ordered were there as well and she debated momentarily on what she wanted to start with. She settled on just the tobacco for now as she slowly inhaled the substance. As she did so she heard Jack’s voice and glanced at him briefly, grinning to herself at his reaction before exhaling the smoke. She then looked back to O’Ner who had his hand on her face. He said something to her after letting her go and Azriel couldn’t help but snicker.

”Come now O’Ner, why not shapeshift and enjoy some of these women? It’s easy, watch.” She asked as she beckoned the girl towards her now. The woman obeyed and now knelt beside Azriel who gently caressed her face. She watched the woman for a second, catching the slightest hint of fear in her eyes which only made the dark angel smirk. She pulled the girls face to hers and kissed her deeply. After a long moment she pushed her away and then looked back over to O’Ner. ”Her lips are so soft and lovely, wouldn’t you care to feel them on you?” She asked him while now shooing the girl back over to him. Yes, perhaps she was being cruel, but it was just so fun. Wasn’t that why they came here after all, to have some fun?

I've got a basic idea for a werewolf character now. Will do my best to get a CS up by late tonight.

Haha that's exactly the song I was singing in my head when I posted that
<Snipped quote by Tae>

Well to be honest, monsters and all, they did not flat out invented mass destruction weapons... so in a sense, humans are the real monsters.

Precisely my point :P.
Because they've been brainwashed to think the monsters are worse than they actually are hehe. Who are the real monsters >:P?

Risa seemed to have the same sentiment as Elsea and she was glad someone else in the group also understood that forcing anyone to do anything was wrong. She'd really grown to like Risa over the last week, loving her sweet nature and always looking for the good in people. It was a good quality to have, however Elsea feared that with what was to come Risa would change the most. They were going to have to make some very tough decisions here in the future.

When Dio began speaking she turned her attention to the other female fairy. Unfortunately Elsea hadn't got to know Dionaea as well due to the discovery of her brothers and missing family. The image of the dead fairies flashed in her mind and it made her a little sick. So far she'd been the one to experience the most consequences from their actions. Elsea may not have been able to talk to her too much, but just seeing her pain made her want to help in any way she could. At the end of her speech she also ordered Elsea food which came as a shock, but also caused Elsea to giggle just a bit. "Yes I'll take the potato cakes, thank you Dio." She gave the girl a smile, deciding she'd eat them just for her.

"I do agree that finding Dio's family should be a top priority, but we need to do so with caution. I promise you that the enemy wants us to try that and we don't want to fall into their trap." She said as she looked around to the others. They needed to really think through their plans otherwise it would blow up in their faces.

Elthrael began speaking and his words ignited anger in her, but just before she snapped at him she paused. That's what he wanted, he was trying to anger her and Kyran it seemed, but why? What was his goal there? She had a feeling she might know why, but wasn't sure enough to call him out on it. Instead she decided she wouldn't react entirely in the way he wanted. So instead she grinned at him in a rather mischievous way, but let him speak. She'd wait till he finished before she'd speak again. He spoke of heroes and how in trying time the grandest of acts are taken. She scoffed a bit. "Heroic acts often lead to a change in the person as well and still for the worse. Some become arrogant and think they deserve praise for their acts which is a poor quality. Others are haunted by their acts for the rest of their lives. Yes hard steps must be taken, but taking those steps will change you." She'd never liked the fantasy of heroes and always believed heroism to be a facade. History always painted heroes to be more grand than they really were. Yes hard choices must be made, but to her that wasn't being a hero it was merely doing the next right thing.

"Also it's adorable that you think I'd still want you to train me. How arrogant of you to assume such a thing. Besides," She paused as she snapped her fingers, a small flame igniting right in Elthrael's lap. She let it burn there for a few moments, keeping it from spreading yet letting it burn a small section of his clothes. She waved her hand and made the small flame dissipate before it could really harm him however. "I'm learning just fine without your help." She said with that same mischievous grin before looking away from him and to Kyran once more. She'd considered igniting him in a pillar of flame, but that would be too revealing. Keeping the tiny flame hidden by the table in his lap was much less revealing while still showing him that her power was growing. She'd made sure one of the first things she began practicing was control over what she burned. She wanted to be sure that if she started a fire she could stop it just as quickly. She didn't want to have a second incident like what happened in the forest.

It was time to address Kyran again and this time she felt a bit calmer. Her initial outburst of anger had dissipated with Dio and Risa's earlier words. "Aye, I understand that their best chance of survival is learning to use their magic. Forcing them to learn, however, is out of the question. You need to look at the situation from their point of view. In our world we don't have magic, we don't have people appearing in the sky like Aklenroth did, and most who see a talking skeleton will most likely view them as the Devil or some other omen of death. The Devil is known to be a trickster and lie, so can you blame them for not believing that he really would send them home? They don't know who to trust and a talking skeleton is the least likely being to trust to us. So many humans are going to be frightened and untrusting and if you tell them they must fight in a war than you will be an enemy as well and they will turn against you." She explained to him, hoping her words would help him understand why she'd gotten upset. "While I agree that we need to find as many humans and away them to help, if some decide the do not wish to help than we must respect that." She said and quickly stopped talking as Alie appeared with their food.

She slowly began eating and had to admit it really was delicious. She was glad that Dio had actually made her order something. She let a few moments of silence pass before she looked to Risa and Dio. "So there is to be a ball, aye? What say you we go shopping for dresses after this?" She asked them with a grin, trying to change the subject. While she had a feeling Kyran's mother may have dresses they could wear, she thought it might be fun for them to have a moment of normalcy and fun by dress shopping. She'd seen many shops with pretty dresses in them when they arrived and knew it could be fun to look closer at then with the two fairies.
