Nyx Nebula

Well, she was here. Nyx still wasn't sure how she had managed to convince Security that her sword was a replica and part of her "cosplay," consisting of a blue cloak and her usual outfit, but she was glad she did. She would have hated to miss out on the experience of seeing new weapon models for upcoming games. Though she couldn't discount her luck; she only made it to Security itself because another person at her community center had to cancel last minute and gave her his pass. She'd already passed by several of the FPS areas with a bored expression on her face, and was headed towards the fantasy section when she bumped into another girl who seemed to be around her age. The girl knocked her down, and that's when the voices started up again.

As she sat on the ground, held up by her arms, a series of thoughts flashed by quickly.

In a flash, the thoughts passed through and she was back in reality. She looked up at the girl and an elderly man who had nearly bumped into her as well. 'Only three of us?' Nyx looked around. There seemed to only be the three of them there, but why did the man imply a third other than himself? Bite! No, shut up. Nyx shook her head to dislodge the thoughts and spoke up.

"Sorry, are you okay?" she asked the other girl as she adjusted the cloak piece of her "cosplay" to better hide her weapon. "Nice horns, by the way."
I accidently created a 3D effect with my voice color choices.
Fallen Angel

"Well, Stel, welcome to the jungle. They say it gets worse here every day." the teenager said to herself as she did her final check over her controls. Pretty simple to her, but somewhat alien at the same time, her lack of experience with her AUG would probably show itself rather quickly, she imagined.

"It looks like everything's been handled already, so all that's left for me to do before you deploy is to wish you good luck and happy hunting~!"

A few seconds after that final comment the Red Power's comms shut off that particular channel automatically. A feminine voice rang out in Stel's earpiece, "She should really change her voice synthesizer to something less grating." Adam. The AI that ran on the Red Power seemed somehow annoyed at the other of its kind.

"How can you think it's grating? You don't have ears. Is it, like, a bad waveform or something?"

She was met with silence and the light for incoming comms being turned back on in full, just before another too hyper voice came on. But something didn't seem right to Stel about what she said. Ultima MAs...? She didn't get to continue the thought before another voice chimed in, "Banshee" apparently, and the only information gained was that there was another fast AUG onboard. One that was choosing to attack the communication capability of their target. Another voice, this time identifying as "Watcher," expressed similar intentions.

"Probably for the best that we go with them." Stel said under her breath. This was all for the purpose of testing her AUG, and she had a hunch that-

"We are absolutely not playing cleanup here." Of course Adam had a problem with that, why wouldn't the AI have a problem with its pilot's desires?

"Look, I'm not saying we're here to clean up, it's just that I reeeaaalllyyy doubt that there's nothing there but regular Mobile Armors. If the choice is between destroying their stuff and destroying their talky stuff, I think the smart play is to do the talky stuff. If they have an Augment, it'll be guarding their important stuff, right?"

"You think that an Augmented Armor is going to be guarding their communication network and not their mystery package?"

"More that I think they're going to have their network near the most defensible place, which is probably where they'll put the package."

"... That's not a terrible thought, but I can tell you're trying to play to my sensibilities, so I'll respond in kind. It would give us more battle data to target their units than their installations."

Shit. "But we might not get a chance to target a stationary setup again for a while, and we'll probably be fighting a bunch of Armors more often, so the data collection side points to my idea too!"

"Fine, but we're destroying any Armors we come across, even if they're out of the way. I'm not built for slow or quiet, I'm built for quick and loud. Got it?"

Stell sighed. "Alright, deal. You target, I'll pilot. But that does mean we're not going with the arrowhead, right?"

"Correct, we'll launch with the anti-comms. Opening outgoing links, let them know."

Oh, good, she had to do the talking. Stel spoke into her mic, "Uh... heya. 'Fallen Angel' here, we'll be going with the... Banshee? Her and... the guy going with her. Oh, and anyone else with them. Sorry." A few seconds of dead air passed as she had a minor panic. "Hey, cut the comms alrea-" Maybe it would be a good idea to become more familiar with her communication controls...

Name:
Nyx Nebula

Appearance:
A young girl with black hair, always seen in a hoodie of some kind. Fairly unremarkable, nonetheless she is in great physical fitness.

Concept:
A relatively normal girl whose most out of the ordinary feature is that she hears voices in her head. She tends to talk to herself, either in her own mind or out loud, and has a bright mind with a lot of intelligence. She recently bought a katana that she cares for better than she cares for herself, having grown up obsessed with bladed weapons but unable to afford one more impressive than a knife until now. Despite being raised by a rather poor family, she had an impressive collection of knives that she lost alongside her parents in a housefire a year ago. Since then, she's been living in a community center by herself. Ever since she lost her parents, she's been itching to fight anyone and everyone she could, with or without her prized weapon.

RC1: Dorumon [Digimon]
- Vibe: A digimon with a high combat instinct that gets attached to what it fights, creating a sort of "Battle Bond" with them. The main digimon that can perform "Death X Evolution" upon death, turning into a monster beyond life and death.
- Power: {Endless Evolution}. Like all digimon, it can digivolve and degenerate endlessly to gain further and further power. {Death-X-Evolution}. The ability to digivolve into a far more powerful form and revive itself upon death.

RC2: Lelouch vi Brittania [Code Geass]
- Vibe: Smug, overconfident genius who loves his sister more than the entire world, only to finally choose the world over her as he went through his trials. He's the greatest version of the "genius" and "strategist" archetypes.
- Power: {Absurd Intelligence}. Lelouch is a genius through and through, able to win against unbeatable odds with the pieces he has under his control. {Geass of the King}. The ability to activate geass to command a person to follow any order given to them. The requires direct eye contact, (though mirrors count as direct for this purpose) can only be used once per person, and will eventually become unable to be turned on and off at will, remaining activated at all times.

RC3: EMIYA [Type-Moon] {The Abridged Series version, mostly}
- Vibe: Self-Contradictory.
- Power: {Mind's Eye} The power of minor premonitions. {Projection}. The ability to create/summon weapons that he has seen in the past at a slight power decrease of the weapon. {Battle Prowess}. EMIYA is incredibly skilled in sword and bow based battle. {Unlimited Blade Works}. A Reality Marble, ie a closed space dimension, where all of the swords he has ever known or seen even once exist, though weaker than the originals.

Just as a final "making sure it's fully accepted" thing, here's my full CS.

Someone said in the interest check that not choosing cringey RCs would be the hardest part. Well, I went ahead and did that so no one else would have to feel the shame. :D

Wow... Yeah, you absolutely did. I'm impressed. That alone might make me jump in, if I'm feeling it when I wake up I might go to the discord, if I get an idea. Congrats on selling this concept, lol.
"Suki Emiya, we meet at last for the first time for the fiftieth time."

"I’m Emiya? Alright Rin, let’s see if I can raise your flag!"

Tsubomi would need to be a little patient. While Suki could cover a lot of ground, her speed was entirely dependent on how eager she was to get to her destination. And it became apparent early on that she was not eager to return. When Suki finally turned up, her head was hunched forward. Her bangs covered her eyes, and her lips were pursed. She swayed side to side like the walking dead, and held an unconscious frog in one of her hands. It was natural for Suki to be covered in blood, but she had dirt caked in the folds of her dress and leaves sticking out of her hair.

She dragged her feet in front of Tsubomi . "I don’t feel like eating out." Her voice was weak.

Tsubomi, for her part, came to the conclusion from the way Suki carried herself and the lack of the Light Girl, that she must not have captured her. ”That’s rare, for you. Isn’t that your whole shtick?” A bit of a low-hanging fruit, but it would hopefully perk her partner up. ”Besides, I don’t think we won. Who knows where we’ll be eating.”

”There’s only so many places to eat in Hibusa. It’ll be one of them." She placed her thumb on top of the frog’s head and rubbed it side to side. ”How long were you waiting here? Did you see me enter the forest?"

”Probably. And yeah, I saw you go in the forest, but I tried to go around after that and only came back here a little while ago. What’s with the frog?”

”This guy?" Suki tipped her head back. Her crimson eyes were locked on the amphibian in her hand. ”He and about fifty of his friends jumped me. I can confirm that none of them were princes, but I think we can make this guy talk." She turned the frog over in her hand. ”I think it’s a guy anyway. He might be a girl. I’m not sure how you tell with frogs." She used her pinky to stroke the side of the frog.

”I think if you got hit by that many frogs, the blonde girl is to blame. She seemed to have some sort of frog based magic, which is weird, but maybe we actually can get some info out of it.”

She shrugged. ”I’m not hopeful, but I couldn’t return with Homura, or I guess Lycoris is her magical girl name. I thought this would be better than nothing."

”You learned the new girl’s name!?”

The pitch change in Tsubomi’s voice caused Suki to jump. ”Uh-um, Maybe?.I mean-" She rubbed the back of her head. ”We introduced ourselves. I was surprised she gave me both of her names. At first I thought she might have been into me, but that was before the frogs jumped me. On my way back here I figured she probably gave me a fake name to keep me stunned with surprise. The timing seemed a little too perfect." Her eyes darted between the frog and Tsubomi. ”W-why, ya think she was telling the truth?"

Oh, they had talked to each other. ”At the very least, I think we can figure she gave her magical name. But if she goes to our school, we can easily find out if that’s her real name too. Besides, I don’t… I don’t think that girl would make a good liar.” After a moment’s thought, she pressed on. ”Also, I don’t think the frogs mean she’s not into you. You’ll have to find that out later, most likely.” Chances being what they were, Lycoris probably didn’t like Suki that way, but maybe the thought would help cheer her partner up.

It did seem like that was the case. Suki was looking straight up into the night sky with a finger on her chin, considering Tsubomi’s words. ”You know what, Rainbow? You’re right!" She hugged Tsubomi and spun fast enough for the centrifugal force to lift her legs into the air. Even the poor frog’s limbs shot outward from Suki’s grasp. But her geas did nothing to Tsubomi, who was unable to feel emotions the same way others could. ”That’s why I try to let you do all the thinking for me!" Once Suki set her down, she took a long look into her eyes. ”I guess we should talk with the others then. Maybe we won’t get to eat what we want, but I know we didn’t kill the fewest miseria. And not eating a free meal would just be silly!"

Well, that went well, at least. Tsubomi was about to turn back into her regular form as she was spun around, when she realized that maybe there was still a Light Girl around to see that. She let Suki continue her happy moment and did her best not to ruin it. ”Yeah, I wonder what it’ll be.” With the relatively little time they’d known each other, Tsubomi had found that faking empathy went a long way with her partner, and with people in general, which she had to thank her for showing her someday. But for now, it was enough to stop her from moping so they could get back.

”I’m curious though." Suki kept her hands on her partner’s shoulders. ”You saw me enter the forest, but you decided to wait here after the text. What would you have done if I didn’t come back?"

”If you were giving off the feelings of dread people usually do when they’re about to die, I’d have come in to find you. You seemed more bothered than scared.” It wasn’t untrue, at least.

”You can do that?" Suki folded her arms behind her back. The frog was still unconscious. ”I guess we do need to spend some more time working together. Next time we’ll go out at the same time. I just had to uh, tell Boss Baby something once everyone went ahead. Heh!" She started to walk back with Tsubomi. ”Wonder what was with Eyeball’s text. ‘Changed my mind’? What does that even mean?"

”I have no idea what it means. Maybe she meant about eating? Or about going after Lycoris?” She hadn’t felt anything super out of the ordinary from Evil Eye, which might have been a warning sign in and of itself, if she had stuck around.

Suki pouted. ”If she’s thinking about skipping, we’ve gotta force her to come!"

”Right. Let’s go back then.”

”But I wanna know what’s happening now!" Suki sighed. ”Let’s keep gossiping until we get there. So, do you think the new girl and Bedshaker are going to get along? She’s not very good at holding partners."
"You should rename your thighs to 'The Gaza Strip,' Lycoris."

Can you tell my rainbow is different? It's because I'm on a different computer and don't remember the link I used :L (It's also why this post is so short, sorry.)

As her partner passed her, Acid Drop thought only a single thing. We're going to have to eat her cooking, aren't we? That was almost enough to push her to drain her entire stock of energy by itself. But they were reaching the forest, and the Light Girl was already setting it on fire. Tsubomi stopped to let her partner handle the chase and started to go around the forest to cut off their target. That is, until she got a text from Rei.

The Miseria are pulling out so we should too. If no one caught the newbie that’s fine, we can always approach her in school. Let’s wrap things up because I know you’re all hungry.

Oh. That was anticlimatic. Though anticlimactic might only be the case for her, considering her partner's personality. Still, the thought that the new girl would be at the same school as the Club made her wonder how things would be playing out in the future. Maybe if she had gone all out... would she have caught up in time, or would she have been caught her before the text? Regardless, she was more than ready for the next time she met one of the Light Girls. She began to head back, but decided to wait for her partner at the entrance of the forest, first.
