It seems the long summer, which gouged with fangs and gave us hope, has come to its end...

From Apocalypse, it seems like Light is friendly and Dark is antisocial. The other games don't really expand on a player being able to choose one or the other directly, it's more complex, so IV:A seems like the best example.
Fallen Angel

"Other batteries, got it." Stel said to Adam. "Should we get them now or close up?"

"We're fast enough to get there before they can hit us, but that means more possibility of errors." A pause. "If LINEBREAKER is hitting the Arthropod, then we need to distract." A crosshair became visible on the various screen Stel was looking at, and a hum could be heard as the Brimstone charged its single-shot plasma blast. "Shoot at one and hit the next up close."

"Got it." The Red Power flew past the Arthropod, Stel carefully aiming in her cockpit and the AUG following suit, pulling up the Gatling-turned-cannon in front of it and firing its plasma blast at the furthest enemy cannon. She didn't quite hit, but the blast struck just below the target and sent it reeling for a few moments. They didn't waste the advantage, continuing on to the nearest target in a swerving pattern until finally pivoting and rolling over it, slicing through the barrels from above.

It wasn't until they were well behind the cannon that Stel let out a deep breath, still concerned about whether she had hurt anyone. "Let's hope that's enough of a distraction. And hey, that was pretty cool piloting, right?"

"We'll find out soon, I'm sure." Adam replied, ignoring Stel's praise for herself.
Still interested, sorry for the delay, just got a bunch of RPs I need to get to before I can get started on a CS.

I'd also be okay with a discord, personally.

Tsubomi's spirit animal is a sloth.

“You know it’s a party, right?”

Tsubomi felt a slight jolt as Rei bumped her soda with her own. By the time the action was processed in her mind, Rei had already said something else.

“-l me you’re scared of the new girl. Just cause she doesn’t transform into normal clothes doesn’t mean she’ll bite.”

Bite? No. Shoot? Possibly. But if Tsubomi were actually scared, she'd... Oh, she realized it was a joke a moment later.

“-at your partner’s making in there. I can’t recall ever eating anything Suki’s cooked.”

To that, Tsubomi took a long few gulps of soda. She was tempted to tell the boss that Suki's cooking was quite possibly more dangerous than the Light Girls they'd seen earlier in the night, but... Then she wouldn't learn anything about her green-haired senior. Then again, would she get in trouble for not warning her? In the moments she had thought about this, Mercurial had set up balloons an-

-BANG-

Tsubomi jolted in her seat. She knew herself well enough to know that she was a bit... slow, physically but more-so mentally, when her guard was down, but getting startled by a party popper was just embarrassing. She cleared her throat and tried to banish the slight blush on her cheeks, speaking a few seconds later. "Speaking of partners... Willy's already got the new girl under control, I think..." She took another swig of soda, only to find that it was the last of the can. She stared at it blankly for about ten seconds before shrugging and setting it aside. "So you think that pink hair goes to our school? Sorry I couldn't catch her. But Oros thinks she knows her name, now..."

She reached back and bent slightly to grab another soda from the cooler. "She goes by... 'licorice,' I think she said? And her apparently her real name is either that or, what was it? Homm-ura, I think." It was about that time that Earthshaker went into the kitchen. Tsubomi's head turned to follow her and stayed looking at her until the door was shut. Her head lazily moved back to look at Nyxia. And after a minute or two, Earthshaker returned outside to sit across from that very girl, saying something about the "food" coming soon.

This would make for an interesting interaction, so maybe she should transform and harvest some of it?
...
Nah.
@Zeroth
Pretty deep SMT cut there, lol. I think I'll pull something similar.

@Eviledd1984
I'm assuming that Alcor is off the table as too strong, so if we have to fit in low level, I'll try out Rox, the evolving demon as my initial pick.
<Snipped quote by Eviledd1984>
You mean out of the WHOLE list? Isn't that kind of--

Fugg it, I pick YHWH! XD

@Eviledd1984

Pretty much, lol.
I'm thinking Okuninushi if we're all going OP, otherwise probably Alice if less OP, and Fenrir if not at all. :P
@Eviledd1984
I mean, if you're giving us anything from SMT, I'm down for that. It's been a while since I've had to choose a favorite, but I can figure something out.
I'll throw in an "on the fence" as well. If you decide there's room for another player or if Scribe doesn't want in once the OOC is up, I'd be down to join. Gonna need to see the demon list and have a little more general info though, but as a fan of Devil Survivor (and SMT as a whole) I have to at least throw in some interest, lol.
Nyx Nebula

"I cannot be destroyed! You are all damned!" The thought reverberated through Nyx's mind. This on top of the red-eyed people? How was she supposed to-

Fight! Bite! Tear! Strong, strong, strong!
Hate to agree, but that's right. We're going to have to fight our way out of here.
But I don't want to kill anyone!

It was about the time she thought this that she saw one of the red-eyed people bash its way through a nearby wall.

BITE! Strong foe!
I don't think you have to worry about killing these things.
Good point. I doubt that sword of yours will be enough to kill these people anyway.

Nyx felt herself go limp. She was in way over her depth here, and if she did accidentally kill someone, she'd never be able to get past it, she knew.

You need to grow up. If you want to survive, you might have to kill something. That's part of life. Something has to die for another to live, it can be as simple as eating. Something died for you to live. So fight back!
Be that as it may, fighting is different. The only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed. And our host doesn't fit that category.

Nyx was struggling to breathe as these thoughts raced through her. She tried to grasp at the hilt of her sword, but couldn't get a grip on it.

Screw this. At that moment, the voice that declared itself 'Archer' took control of Nyx's body once more, taking advantage of her muddled mind to do so.

"He who runs away and doesn't fight, runs away first!" Nyx heard herself say before feeling her body run far beyond her top speed up the nearest stairs to the next level above her.

Wh-what are you doing!?
Saving your ass!

When they finally arrived at the highest level of the convention center Archer, as Nyx, scanned the area below to get a grasp of the situation.

H-hey, maybe we can talk to them? Or the others might be able to-
You've been wanting to fight people recently, right? So you don't want to kill them, fine. But now that you're finally given a fight you're cowering? You need. To grow. Up.

With that, Nyx found herself holding a much more impressive bow than the fake one Archer had shot at Lucian, and she felt her body obeying her again.

Now focus. I'll handle the arrows, you just aim and fire. If you want to survive, you have to fight. And if you want to avoid killing anyone, you'll just have to be stronger. Now get to work!

Nyx gulped down a deep breath of air, and pulled the string of her bow back experimentally. As she did, she thought back to when she was in middle school and they taught archery in a gym class. She was lost a moment in reminiscence, and when she focused on the present again she found that an arrow was notched on her bow.

She looked down at the floor below and towards one of the red-eyed people -- how was she able to tell that they had red eyes? She could never see that well before, she had to be well beyond 20/20 vision at this point -- that was approaching the other girl who had been in the Expanse with her.

Breathe in. She did.

Breathe out. She did.

And show them hell.

She let loose the arrow at speeds that left behind a burst of air around her straight into the leg of the would-be attacker. As she was knocked down by the force of loosing the arrow, she had a single thought in mind: hopefully that girl would be able to react in time now.
"Water? No thanks, don't touch the stuff. Fish fuck in it."

Gotta love short posts that take too long to make.

Tsubomi watched the display in front of the group with a bored expression. On the one hand, she knew what Oros was like by now, and on the other, Tsubomi had a terrible case of resting apathy-face. Besides, the important battle was still being fought in her mind, but not for long. By the time the bra came out, she was already texting an order for takeout later in the night.

Soon enough the group arrived at their destination, what could charitably be called "Suki's home." Sure, Tsubomi could have had the food delivered here, but to be honest, she wasn't really hungry yet. Which would probably get a better reaction out of her partner than openly eating other food than what she had made. And- oh, there was beer here. Despite being four years below the legal drinking age, she had no interest in it, having had more than enough for a lifetime already. As soon as Suki finished pointing at the drinks, the harsh smell of her cigarette filled the air. Ah, yes, the easiest to attain and worst smelling narcotic there was, tobacco's scent on her clothes would be hard to explain away to Tsubomi's aunt and uncle. Oh well.

Normally, a person might spend the time given to them in such a situation to reflect on life, or to strike up a conversation with someone, especially with the new girl. Unfortunately, Tsubomi's mind was totally empty, almost like she was in a trance, or a meditative state. It was her normal state, not conniving like some other Dark Girls or even like she herself was when transformed, not excitable or depressed, just... empty. Blank. And she wore a fitting expression for this fact as she sat at one of the picnic tables and drank a soda. She would drink a water, but she'd long since sworn off the stuff.
