I only come back here to update my cosplay list. There was a time when I enjoyed writing about crossdressing characters...then I became one.

This one anti-Christian guy tried to convince me that "sex was the ultimate form of love." I then concluded that all rapists are just misunderstood affectionate people. He got triggered.

On November 6, 2022, the video game industry gave way its technological breakthrough of the century. Developed by Argus, Sword Art Online, a Virtual Reality Mass-Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, became the world’s first “full-dive” entertainment system that completely immerses the player into a programmed world of blade-clashing frenzy. Made possible by the use of NerveGear, a player’s conscience helps to interact in the online world, making the experience feel phenomenally realistic.
10,000 copies have been reportedly sold since its release in Japan (with no word on an international release). Servers were launched at 1:00 pm Local Japan Time, officially beginning what many would consider to be the worst technological disaster in history. Unknown to the 10,000 players connected to SAO, development director Kayaba Akihiko, also the genius behind the design of the NerveGear platform, had planned to imprison every single player within the virtual world of SAO. By removing the option to log out of the game, the players were forced to complete all 100 levels of SAO or literally die trying. To ensure that none could escape, the NerveGear helmet would send an electric charge strong enough to destroy the brain if ever tampered with or if the player dies in-game.
<<Here is the story you didn't know>>
In what seemed like token of his appreciation, Kayaba issued the players an object designated as <<Mirror>>. Accessed through one’s inventory, it dramatically changed the appearance of an avatar to match exactly that of its player's in real life. For most, it made the experience even more terrifying. Those who only looked larger than life were quickly humbled when their true faces were exposed. Some were shamed when revealed that they were the opposite sex of their avatar. However, only a handful remained even more uncertain of their fate when they realized a startling truth:
"The Mirror didn’t work on me...."
Word quickly spread about these "Breakers," glitching players who were accused of "breaking" the game when their avatars were spared from the transformations. Shunned by the SAO community, Breakers were often victims of crime and discrimination.
It was only up to the early months when a Breaker would find himself ostracized by other players. They were easily spotted: Attractive appearances that warranted scrutiny; anomalies during battle; equipment that is only obtainable for impossibly higher leveled-players; perhaps even a large sum of money and an abysmal inventory of expensive items to boot. As time went on, regular players were able to earn more experience and eventually level-up in skill and fashion. Now able to blend in with the common players, some Breakers took the opportunity to build. One lone player in particular was said to have acquired a vast amount of Col to fund a network of resources and a base of operations.
<<The Brotherhood>> became a shadowy guild notorious for its influence, secrecy, and riches beyond what any player could imagine. In truth, the Brotherhood was designed as a haven for glitching players seeking refuge, and a select few serve the Brotherhood directly by utilizing their unique abilities. By imitating the mannerisms like that of western secret societies, their exclusive activities ensure that only those of their kind may enlist in their ranks. Following a simple hierarchy and order, they are able to thrive and exist peacefully in the Brotherhood. Though life isn’t easier in the game of death that is SAO, the Brotherhood at least has more than they could ever need in a time of uncertainty: their loyalty to one another.
NOT ANYMORE
It began with signs of discord within the Brotherhood. One group believed that their unique abilities as glitchers, and all the spoils and luxury that came with it, should only benefit those of their kind, and that doing so would help to live a stable life within SAO when the community only hated them. Another group insisted that all the perks of being a glitching player made them rightful rulers, and that the hateful wayward community needed a proper judge to rid them of their impurities. Heated arguments eventually led a tragic night where both sides were involved in a violent fight. Several within the Brotherhood were killed as a result, but among the most heart-breaking was the loss of a child whose death was entirely accidental. Without another word, many walked out and left the Brotherhood.
In the following weeks, rumors spread of a group committing several acts of player-killing while maintaining a green colored cursor instead of the infracted orange color. All eyes have turned to the secretive Brotherhood, the only guild rumored to house glitching players. With the SAO community outraged, every member and former member of the Brotherhood are equally guilty. If they will not answer for the injustice, they will certainly be forced to. While every player and Guild will be out for their heads, the true threat to every glitching player remains unseen. Observing them since they first logged in, a cold and emotionless enemy patiently calculates a plan to rid SAO of their existence.

Character Generation and Development
As a "Breaker," a glitching player in Sword Art Online, you have the choice of joining one of two factions: <<The Brotherhood>>, a secretive guild that amassed enormous wealth and influence, or The Wolfpack, an elusive group of former Brotherhood members who are left to their own devices. Both are thought to be responsible for the recent incidents of player-killing. Life in SAO is never easy, even if you were rolling in money or gifted with special talents. Expect a slice of life, drama, comedy, maybe romance, and lots of action.
[Character Image]- Anime images ONLY. Fuck, that was close.
Display Name: [The name of your character in Sword Art Online]
Ephithet: [Title(s) that your character is known by (e.g. Kirito is known as The Black Swordsman)]
Alignment: [Brotherhood or Wolfpack]
Age appearance: [Of your character in-game, not in real life]
RP Speech Color: First come, first serve. This color and this color and this color and this color and this color and this color and this color and this color and this color and this color are taken. Sorry!
Appearance: [Your character's in-game appearance only. Please note that the item <<Hand Mirror>> had no effect on you]
Weapon(s):
Skill Slots: A list of abilities that you have assigned your avatar to excel. A maximum of 5 may be allowed at this time. Please list the name of the skill and what purpose it serves for your avatar. For examples, please refer to these links: Here and Here
Breaker: A unique ability not seen or categorized within the world of Sword Art Online, this is the glitch that gives you an advantage. Each Breaker is unique and can range from offensive to supportive. For now, please list only one. Your character will have the chance to discover more as the story progresses. Some of these can include the ability to teleport (with some limitations), carry seemingly unlimited items, creating mirror images that can attack, the list goes on. "Unlimited Budget Works" is mine, thank you.
**You're probably wondering, "where do I put my level?" or "Where can I put armor/items?" Anything that I do not require of you to state does not have to be included. That can change. :)
Since I did not expect this many people to be interested in a roleplay based on that shit anime (let's face it, it's shit, but fun to RP), I will need a little more time to make some significant changes. What I don't want is too many people under one roof. How does everyone feel about having two factions of the glitchers? A schism within the Brotherhood?
And that's without the stupid webcam edits that I cheat with. Not as terrible as I thought it would be. Just wish I got a bit thinner. Imagine walking into the mens room wearing this.
Outfit: Girl disguise for Nagisa. The wig is made of three parts. My friend styled the two pig tails which are more like bunny tails. He worked really hard on it, making me sit down and wear it as gelled and sprayed it so it was super solid. The white med tape is just accessory and not originally part of the outfit. I used it mainly around the neck to conceal the Adam's apple. This was taken after the rave and right when I began to develop pink eye. D:
A ménage à trois of sorts, eh? I would be down for that. If you don't mind letting this stay open for another 12-24 hours, just to see if we get any more takers, then I'll go ahead with the trio if no one else steps in.
also why does everyone get impressed when they impress me i dont get it
I've seen your material. The community seems to hold you in high regard.
I feel really warm inside knowing that this somewhat interests you.
fuck it why not, after some shuffling around of shit I should be (hopefully) able to do this™
always wanted to do a SAO RP with some competent RPers.
I'm sure Guild has seen plenty of decent SAO roleplays with cool roleplayers. I just want to add to the usual formula of "SAO RP = Original Characters + Level 1 Survival Mode." Everyone gets a unique ability that puts us at a major advantage. If I can get like 3 more people, I'll throw out a thread.
The setting takes place in what is known as the first half of SAO's Season 1 anime. A story of its own, this roleplay follows the adventures of a mysterious clan known as The Brotherhood, a group of glitching players. Armed with abilities that would otherwise give them an unfair advantage in the world of SAO, they are a constant target for psychotic player-killers and the self-righteous Knights of the Blood Oath.
Recurring themes: Friendship, love, death, hope ---just giving you an idea of what you'll be running into.
Canon ground unscathed? Yes. Anime's storyline will basically be a guide on how we pace this. Canon characters (Kirito, Asuna, etc) will be NPCs if ever encountered.
Set ending? Yes. Your character either survives to see Kirito complete SAO, or dies with a shred of hope.
If we're lucky: We can go on to follow the later installments such as ALO and GGO.
NOTES:
8/21- Didn't expect this many to be interested. Will need a little more time to finish a decent OOC. Leaning towards the possibility of two groups of glitchers opposing each other. 8/22- Still open
He woke up to a dull ache at the back of his head. The iron taste of blood was fresh on his tongue. He frowned and instantly regretted it, his eyes tearing up from the pain of a cracked lip. He tried to recall what had transpired:
An anime convention.
Stupid rave.
Horny neckbeards chasing him down.
A fight.
He turned over to his side and discovered a pool of blood under him. Thank God, he thought. He thought he pissed himself. He managed to glance down at his waist. For some reason, it really hurt down there. He stifled a sob from the sight of bloody hand prints over his thighs.
What the fuck did they do to me?
Is this what they meant when they said I had to...
I never did put much faith on these things, but it's quite impressive. See, I've had all these years of drunk partying, raving, and fleeting romances. Yet I never considered the kind of people I could be compatible with. It was always a hit or miss for me. While I still don't see myself crushing and gushing over anyone in this community (well, maybe 2 whom I'm reluctant to identify), your input does make a good reference should I ever think about acting my age and settling down for once.
