Brigit calmly ate the salad that she and Katherin had put together, it was quite good even if she said so herself. She had to give credit to Katherin for picking out great textures and the fish, my god the fish was delicious. Kyo certainly was a great chef with how well it was cooked, it melted in mouth and the flavors were beautiful. She quietly ate her food while keeping an eye out for Katherin.

After she had finished, she helped Kyo gather the dishes and rinse them. It was then that the housekeeper announced the next activity. Swimming!!, she had never been to a body of water so she didn't know what to do. She held on to Katherin as they followed the housekeeper to the third floor and to their locker rooms.

Apart from the orange jumpsuit she was given at the police station, Brigit didn't have anything. So she helped Katherin to a seat and began looking for a dress that would suit her. After having found a size she thought she was, she took the low back one piece black swimsuit and started stripping down.

As the orange jumpsuit came off, it revealed a body covered in countless scars both big and small, she silently put on the swimsuit as no one was around to look and comment on her and then went and sat alongside Katherin.

She fiddled with her tablet to ask her friend "Do you need help in picking out a suit, Katherin."

"I'm not sure that it is a good idea for me to get into the water Brigit. What if I freeze the pool?" Katherin asked worriedly. She had been worrying about that possibility since the housekeeper told them they were going swimming. She didn't want to hurt anyone experiences those she was living with. "I should put a suit on anyway." she said with a sigh. "I think Im an eight but I honestly don't know."

"Don't worry, Kat. It would all be fine. We did well in the kitchen, didn't we? We sure can do well in the pool. I'll look for a suit for you, okay." Brigit wrote on the tablet carefully before letting it play out as she patted and massaged the back of her friend. It felt rather good, to be able to be of some help to someone, a bright smile crept on her face as she got up and started looking for the suit, keeping in mind the size mentioned.

She soon found a lovely yellow and blue swimsuit for her. It seemed to ooze cool and cheerfulness, she smiled brightly as she picked it and gave it a lookover before going to her friend. She kept it on her lap gently and took her tablet.

"Here, try it on!" she pressed play as the other girl grasped the fabric.

"Thank you Brigit." Katherin said as she took the suit. She carefully ran her fingers over it feeling each inch. Once she had a feel for the suit she stood and stripped. She thought about going into one of the changing rooms but decided against it. It wasn't as if she had anything that Brigit hadn't seen before. It took her only a few minutes to put the suit on. The nice thing about swim suits was they were pretty straight forward. "Alright. Let's try this."

Kyo eventually returned to see the others already on their way upstairs. Thankful that he had been able to catch the end of the line in the hall, he followed behind to the locker rooms. Since he already had his suit on, he really didn't see any need to change, but he did search the closet for something to replace the baggy T-shirt he had pulled on over the swim trunks. He couldn't do much about his legs, but at least the shorts were long enough to cover them a little past his knees. They could have been much shorter.

In the closet, he did find a rash guard that seemed about his size, and was even more relieved to see the long sleeves. After changing as quickly as he could in the one of the changing rooms, trying not to feel too awkward about changing even just his shirt someplace other than his room, he stepped out and searched for a safe place to leave his tablet. He couldn't take it with him in the water, after all.

Jess doesn't succeed in getting the housekeepers attention. Look... Even she doesn't care about us. Jess sighs and follows the rest of the group up to the third floor. The housekeeper speaks, "Girl's lockers on the right. Boy's lockers on the left. As you enter you'll see a door. This leads to a large walk-in closet where you will find suits of various sizes and styles." Jess slowly walks towards the door on the right. We can't do this... We can't do this... She continues and enters the locker room, coming to the big walk-in closet with the swimsuit choices. None of the other girls are currently in the closet choosing a suit, they all have either already gotten them and are trying the bathing suits on or haven't gotten there yet. She starts looking around, touching some of the fabrics. I'm not sure why you're even looking... You'll look horrible in all of them. Jess retracts her hand from the current suit with a quick motion. All the hurt and pain coming back up again - resurfacing. Really... You know we can't go through this again, not with what happened... She slides to the floor, with her back against the wall. Jess closes her eyes as the tears stream down her cheeks, she can feel the liquid run down her neck and drip onto her clothes. All she wants to do is forget...

Brigit smiles as she watches Katherin change into the suit, she looked pretty, like a painting. Just then another girl walks in, their partner from the Kitchen activity. She wears a glum look, as if the world is bearing down on her shoulders.

"Just wait a moment here, Kat." Brigit types on her tablet and let it play as she gets up to follow the girl. She watches from a distance as to scene that unfolds, the girl just slumps beside the closet and silently cries. Whatever was haunting her had quite a bit of control. Brigit walked silently towards her, crouching down and sitting next to her. She then types into the tablet.

"Anything wrong, Jess?" as she places a hand on the girl's shoulder to gently shake her out of her misery.

Jack walked over to the pool and just sat at the edge, he hardly feared much, but the water was an exception, he grew uncomfortable at the thought of nit being able to breathe yet move freely. He decided to not even bother with getting into the water, he hated it.

With the tablet safely stowed away, Kyo slowly exited the locker room. Any kind of sports activity made him a little uneasy, honestly. If it wasn't his general difficulty with most types of physical performance, there was always the fact that he would have to go without a form of communication. It wasn't the end of the world, but it was inconvenient. At least he was covered.

Stepping close to the side of the pool, the scrawny boy peered into the water for a moment before sitting down on the edge. Poking one foot in, he was a little surprised at the water temperature. It was a little warmer than he expected, though still a little cool. As he waited for the others, he let his legs hang off the side so he could get used to it. Might as well not be completely unprepared.

"Gather round children. It looks like we are still missing a few. That's alright. Who here knows how to swim?"The housekeeper asked them.

Aaron was by the pool with the Housekeeper and the others. The water seemed to by oddly temperate.

"I haven't gone swimming in a long time," Aaron said. "I wonder if it will be the same as before."

Jess feels a gentle touch on her shoulder, "Anything wrong, Jess?" asks a concerned voice. She looks up and sees Brigit siting beside her. Jess hates for anyone to see her cry - to see her look weak. She has gotten pretty good at hiding it from the world, but right now, she is helpless. Jess lets out a sob - a small gasp, she clinches her eyelids shut, savoring her moment of solitude. Don't talk to her, she doesn't care about you... Jess shakes her head sadly, "I... I ju-..." she sighs, "I just..." She can't even finish without the tears welling up in her eyes once more. "It's my past. This brings up so many memories and I just can't deal with it right now. I don't know what to do... And here I am just rambling on and on to you. I can't even stand letting people see me cry and here I am... I don't even know you." She hides her head in her hands. At this point Jess is shaking uncontrollably from the stress.

Brigit silently wrapped her arm around the other girl that shook ever so mildly as a sob slipped upon her query before she let the dam break and tears flew down freely. Almost everyone here wasn't coming from a happy place in their little lives and Brigit understood that it was through each other that maybe they can find a modicum of inner peace. She hugged the girl closer as she sobbed and tenderly kissed her forehead, as Jess questioned about her sudden release of emotion Brigit took the tablet and typed in slowly.

"Well, since Katherin there can't see. I'd say that you are the only one in this house that has looked at me like this." she said, obviously pointing out to the numerous visible scars that marred her beautiful skin. Cuts big and small covered almost each inch of her body upto her shoulders and down her back, yet Brigit let out a warm smile. She was incapable of feeling physical pain but she could empathize what a wounded heart felt like.

"You will go into the water. Start by dipping your feet in. But swimming is a skill you will need."The housekeeper answered sternly. She felt strongly about not getting everyone comfortable with water.

@KatherinWinter"no, no I won't, you can make me go to the Desert without shade or water(wait, I could just make shade at night) but I'm not stepping into water"jack threw his hood over his head and stood up, but he was fair enough to apologize for his anger"sorry, I am just horrified by the water."

"Is there something about water you don't like?" Aaron said.

You couldn't help but feel some kind of curiosity from it. Aaron had to wonder why Jack so did not wish to enter water.
