Completing, and 3 years. That's guild myth.

I need give kudos where it is due to @Hekazu for providing perhaps one of the longest running Dungeon and Dragons tabletop games here on the Roleplayer Guild, coming in at over two years worth of time. Amusingly it has now surpassed in duration my previously longest standing topic that I had been part of here on the forums, a topic that was several year ago now; one I considered to be exceptional in surviving so long at all at the time. A notably rare gem then, I will concede, followed up by this find.

Continued, while the progress of his game might be at the Advanced Roleplay section's pace with once every few days, the game itself is still remarkably alive which is indeed a feat of strength for a medium that has a poor turnout and turnover. No less while the adventure might be a module, the story all laid out, that is tremendous dedication by the Dungeon Master and to some extent our party as well.

I suppose if I can add to what @The Harbinger of Ferocity was gushing about above, I finally had a chance to read through the first ten pages (out of like, 30?) of @Hekazu's D&D story and I can definitely understand why it has lasted. His writing is on point, and really keeps the momentum going with regard to combat and plot!

Of course I was also reading it because I wanted to see how the whole "dice system" was being used online since I asked about it the other day in DC, but otherwise, I really love the story and hope to be able to jump into one soon! (shameless pleading never hurt anyone, lol)

Today in The Walking Dead we officially closed the chapter on Year 4. It took two years in Rp to get it done but we did it. The chapter closed and we begin a new in Year 5. I am so excited for what is in store for this story but more than that I am beyond proud and honored to have been able to GM this Rp for so long with such amazing Rpers. Some have been with me since the very beginning of the RP, others are new.They are all stupendous.

@Sigil - The man who probably has had the most colorful characters to ever grace an RP.
@Nallore - My whip cracker who has taught us the most important lesson to date - Never Kiss A Corpse.
@Morose - One half to probably the cutest ship ever and who has actually made a skill out of playing monopoly.
@FantasyChic - Who came in, made me wonder, and turned into a true friend.
@Rivaan - The sweet heart who welcomes everyone with open arms.
@ONL - Our resident Viking who always leaves us guessing.
@Remipa Awesome - Who made playing old cool again.
@QT - Who picked up the mantle of another and kept things moving.

There have been so many others but these are my current Peeps in TWD and I couldn't ask for a better group. I have said it before but I will say it again - Thank you, it's a honor to be your GM.

Okay, so while I have a bit of time during lunch I shall drop names of people who I've come to really admire on RPG/Discord in the short few months I've been on here :)

@Ruby is just pure awesome, and was one of the first people I met on RPG and started chatting with on DC. She is an excellent RPer/writer, and I see her as like "the big sis I never had" and def loving her new RP.

@Ghost Shadow, another awesome d00d, really interesting character ideas, and a great writer to boot! Love RPing with him.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity is like one of those spirit guides in all things, and he's fairly well groomed for a lion which is always a plus. But, he's been a great source of D&D info the few times I've been able to pick his kitty brain on DC :D

@Briza is well...Briza, lol. But srly, she is fun to chat with, her writing style is so eloquent and rich with details, and her characters are equally as interesting.

@HaleyTheRandom, whose posts I love because they really get the community engaged in the topics, whether serious character/RP building stuff or just silliness. She is a fun addition to RPG :)

I know I'm prob missing people, but lunch period is over and I gotta run to class :/

And so they have. After more than 2 years, my Rp After Miranda has closed its doors and our heroes are taking a well earned break. It has been an amazing two years and we will be back for Season 2! I want to thank everyone that was part of this Rp over the years but I want to call out @Sigil @Morose @Bluesky44 & @FantasyChic for seeing it out until the end. It has been a long time coming, with tons of twists and turns. The crew has broken into two and we have been left with a cliff hanger. Of course we have. That's how seasons work!

So stay tuned because The Prometheus will return in Season 2, along with perhaps another competing ship and a new captain! Oh the possibilities are endless when it comes to events in the 'Verse. Don't worry, you can't stop the signal. Stay Shiny! And thank you for being here for this wild ride! You are, as always...

I hope so too and for everyone to have increased amount of luck when it comes to roleplaying because i feel we do it for the same reasons and yet also different, though when i say this and i will quote it.."My RP luck on here is bad" I at times have a hard time believing those that say similar sometimes.

@TheSeriousJoke is an amazing GM that needs to give themself way more credit than they are. Being able to retain the interest of more or less 7 players is hard and she's stupidly good at giving out just enough details to get everyone hyped while basically telling nothing about her plot.

@Savo is super enthusiastic about everything. Always super involved in everything and at least has the motivation to get something moving, even if he takes 5 years to post.

@Pyromaniacwolf is the funniest guy in the discord. Actually a joy to talk to.

@xxlanatjexx should be less down on themself. You're doing great, stop worrying so much.

@addamas is a fucking riot and a half. Snow is probably the unintentionally funniest character in the RP, and they're always super positive in the discord. +1 rep.

@AimeChambers is the best writer there, no contest. Engaging characters with well-paced posts that apparently contain BG spoilers I can't even begin to puzzle out.

@KenjuGuy I'm going to be honest, Ginshi is slowly becoming my favorite character in the RP and I don't know why. The guy's just so likeable yet grounded and feels like such a good addition to the crew.

@Vocab I can't wait when you kill off Shirou.
