Hello! I'm...
🦋 Lu 🦋

she/her
23 years old

I began role-playing in like~ 2012 in a Warrior Cats forum. I RPed consistently there for a few years before playing cats lost me, and I moved on to... not RP for several years, continually joining forums followed by never getting into the swing of things. And here I am!

Cassandra "Cass" Myselii

Time: Morning, Location: Town Square

She had come into the town square from a side lane she had wandered into in her meandering way. A mass had collected in the heart of town. Everyone seemed on edge. What a time to arrive in town. Cass stood, shuffling, at the fringe of the crowd. Butternut had become inpatient with her meandering and took the opportunity to writhe from her arms and bound away, disappearing as he skirted the crowd.

"Butternut!" she gasped as her cat abandoned her. She was not especially worried for him, but, instead, felt utterly lost and laid bare without him.

She shifted her weight from one foot to the other and back again. She wrung her luminescent hair in her quivering pale hands. Cassandra stuck out in a crowd, though, blessedly, not nearly as much in this one. She closed her eye, took a steadying breath, brushed the cat hair from her clothes...again, and approached the nearest person.

"Ah-um...my name is Cassandra or Cass...whichever. I-uh- just arrived. she tried to approach with confidence, but started and stopped, her eye darting around the crowd only glancing over to whom she was speaking. A human woman with silver hair who had a magical energy within which was magnetizing to Cassandra, it drew her in like the smell of fresh baked bread or roasted squash once had. She was tempted to lay her hand on the woman's shoulder, only take a little, surely she'd hardly notice. Cass put her hands behind her back, newly grateful she hadn't come to town hungry. Cass bit her lip and a small gasp escaped between them when it stung, "What's going on?"

Waking-Lion

Waking-Lion nodded, "While we certainly do not wish to anger Monono," he said, acknowledging the elder's concern, "what if we fail to find these men? What if what they took is gone? Whether they are punished or not, whether what was taken is returned or not, finding new resources will only benefit us. And-" Waking-Lion nodded now to Nakai, "If the spirits will guide us, surely, we may travel more boldly.

Waking-Lion steadied the nervous energy that was rising within him, coiling like a venomous snake in the pit of his stomach, its hissing filling his body with dread. He did not like the idea of leaving the camp behind, unable to protect it from the unexplored horizon. However, he had suggested the expedition and wholeheartedly believed it the best course of action, so he would go in spite of the dread within him.
@ScreenAcne, I'm so sorry to hear that. Be gentle with yourself and give yourself the time and care that you need.
Anathema Dunn

Time: Early Morning, Location: Hotspring

“I’m sorry to ask, but you know where my things are…can I ask you to retrieve them,” “You should get your things too, you look colder than I do,”

Anathema nodded, a faltering smile flitting across her face for half a moment. She was exhausted with worry, and while she was relieved Céline had returned to consciousness, she worried still. The question of what had brought on this episode nagged at her. Wordlessly, Anathema fetched Céline's belongings from the other side of the spring where they had been seated on stones moments before. Boots, coat, bag. And her own things, shoes, stockings, coat, bags.

She dropped her portion, save for her coat, at the edge of the group, not taking time to be gentle. She placed Céline's bag and shoes beside their owner. Anathema paid loose attention to the conversation as she returned, yet happenes to note the short blightborn refer to the dark-haired woman from the spring as though she were a person of high birth.

She helped Céline into her coat. Then wrapping her coat around the blighted woman's shoulders, Anathema spoke in the hushed tone of someone who doesn't wish to damage a fragile sense of calm, "Céline, do you think you can make it to the Temple if we help?" she surveyed the group, if they had to carry her it would be a team effort as they were each dwarfed by the hare-like woman.

“Im Sya, the towns inn keeper, can I ask your name? We got all busy.”

'Sya, inn keeper, certainly not new in town.' Anathema recorded the second blightborn she had met to memory. I suppose a round of introductions are due. Céline," she gestured towards the rabbity woman, now bundled in coats, "and I am Anathema. We are each just arriving to Dawnhaven, though perhaps that's something you guessed already. For helping her, thank you Sya and..." she trailed off, expectant eyes on the remaining stranger.

Hey, all!

I'm giving everyone I'm currently role-playing with a heads up that my posts may become somewhat erratic for the near future due to personal shit. I'm still bopping around and will do my best to post as I find time and precious motivation.

Thanks for understanding!

Walking-Lion

Waking-Lion stood solemn, quiet as he considered the ceremony. Presented with the evidence, anger burned in his belly like the fire his dark eyes stared into. To steal was a cowardly way to live, and, more importantly in the moment, the village was bound to suffer for it.

"Shall our hunting parties travel further? Shall we send scouts in search for areas where game, fish, or forage is greater?" Walking-Lion spoke in questions, but truth be told this was his way of making a suggestion. He was still a young man and must defer to the elders. He did not comment on the thieves' escape, they would all be more vigilant moving forward. Certainly that would be enough to prevent reoccurrence.
@ScreenAcne, okay, sounds good!
