The only word I see in almost every character sheet is "bullied", and I can't help but sweat a little. So, let's take care of the elephant in the room, yes? I did this in the previous game, so might as well do it again here.

----------------------------------

MEIR—@Salsa Verde
Going with the same setup as in the previous game: Meir probably got the worse from Nat's buddies rather than herself, but neither did she stop anything. Nat and Meir exchanged a few words here and there when the rest of the gang wasn't around, maybe? Surface-level things, school shit.

WILLIAM—@Gisk
Again, going with a similar setup as the previous game: Natalie follows William on Insta/social media due to the music thing. But, there isn't much beyond that, and he wasn't a target of Nat's buddies either.

SARA—@banjoanjo
Going with a variation of the previous game: Natalie being insecure about her own sexuality at the time, she took her frustrations out on Sara in the dreaded but classic 'bathroom encounters' with snarky remarks and outright nasty commentary. I'm thinking this is also because of Sara's heritage, coming as an immigrant, being an easy target.

JACK—@nodogs
Going with a neutral standing again. Natalie probably dumped some interesting gossip about the 'plastics' on Jack every now and then. No fucking honor among thieves here.

MELANIE—@Benzaiten
I'm thinking that Melaine gained some good standing with Natalie in some PE class duo/team sport or competition thing. Then, whenever this bullying cycle began, Natalie would let any remarks from her buddies slide, but then sort of 'apologize' for her not doing anything about it AFTER the cycle ended. Let me know what you think about this.

OLEANDER—@Aeolian
Under the radar as it were. I've got nothing here, love. Unless you've got something in mind, of course. I'm all ears.

MARCO—@udonoodles
My thought here was to have Natalie like Marco's artistic expression to the point of quietly 'protecting' him from any bullshit that the rest of the school might have given him. She'd follow him on social media if he had/has any. There could also be a few occasions of conversation beyond a word or two, perhaps? She'd let him know about the art and that he should talk to her if anyone would give him 'shit'. Let me know what you think about this.

DANTE—@Laertes
I'm thinking that Dante would've received the full premium package of snarky-ass remarks and mean comments from Natalie's buddies. I'd say that Nat herself would've been either indifferent about it or given Dante a 'pass' every now and then. I have a question, though: how well known would that transition have been at Ritman, if at all? I think Natalie would lean more towards not doing anything against Dante if she knew about it.

SAMUEL—@Rockette
Sorry, pumpkin, Sammy gets the full ride of diehard bullying. Natalie won't even recognize him now, though, right? I'd say she'll be kinda stunned, embarrassed about all the shit at Ritman.

Hanna felt as though she recognized the man with the crutches accompanying Zhalia Ramshorn. He had a rather handsome visage, easily standing out in a crowd. It was a momentary distraction for the lass otherwise engaged in conversation with aspiring fine pastry tasters.

"Of course you don't, Scott—flying high and mighty up there in the faculty clouds next to the Gods of education and outstanding morality. But, you know, us mere mortals down here on the ground do enjoy a bit chit-chattering. Although, I suspect that the 'eating people' thing was a bit out there." Hanna gabbled in the typical fashion, but with a sense of lightheartedness and humility. Even if some words of hers could be perceived as headstrong, she usually made up for it with mellow tones in her voice or a pretty smile. "People talk the most during celebrations, though. It's been scientifically proven, you know, I think. OH WELL, I'm going to taste one of your brownies, because people also EAT at celebrations." She continued, snagged one of those gorgeous brownies—although a bit warm to the touch—and took a comically giant bite that puffed up her cheeks when it was all in there, being chewed at.

When some of that brownie had gone down, the word factory spun right up again. "I'd like to be in some kind of cult, though. Wouldn't that be something? I mean, not in one that eats people, because I don't think I'm into that, even if I haven't tried it. Maybe it's good?!" Hanna exclaimed with a hint of sarcasm. "But, maybe in a Love Cult or something like that. Can you imagine? I think I'm the type they'd try to recruit. I bet I wouldn't even realize it's a cult until someone is trying to put something weird up my butt." Hanna chuckled at her own joke. "Jokes aside, I hear what you're saying. It is indeed important that we do this thing properly. We're under enough scrutiny as it is. Believe you me, I've been on that side of this coin once all the while trying to figure everything out on this side we're on now—what a fucking ride that was, jeez." Hanna finally stopped talking for a second to take another bite of the brownie. "These are delicious!" She tried to say with a stuffed mouth.

Hanna's gaze lingered on Zhalia and Simon as they departed the food tent. The gal's process of swinging back and forth between flamboyant chatter and profound pondering was a rather harsh roller coaster ride. She plunged into her mind once again. Of course she didn't eat people. I don't know why I said that. I think I just have an issue with Necromancy, that's all. Should I judge someone on that merit alone, though? Obviously not, but it's easier said than done. I've still spent most of my waking life judging people for petty things and acting on it, often with hostility. I wonder where Janet McMillan is these days—I'd like to apologize to her, I think, and buy her something nice. Even though Hanna's thoughts could take her for a long walk on the beach, her presence in the real world rarely faltered because of it. She could certainly do several things at the same time.

Hanna grabbed a clean plate and put down the brownie she was gorging. Then, she spent a second or two focusing on her internal energies flowing throughout her whole body, centering in the pineal gland, reaching up and out through her crown. A faint distortion of light in a tiny space above the table began to form. Hanna reached her hand into it. It would certainly be a bizarre sight to any ordinary person observing it from just a few steps away. It would look as if Hanna's hand just up and vanished into thin air, leaving her arm visibly chopped off by the wrist. From this tiny pocket dimension, Hanna retrieved her cell phone. "Okay, here we go, selfie time!" Hanna almost cheered as she tried to catch the light and angles next to Scott and Kelly. "Come on, big smiles you guys." Hanna snapped the picture, which would capture the beautiful food on the tables as well as the two wonderful people she was with. Now, whether Scott and Kelly actually posed along Hanna was another matter altogether. All too often Hanna would participate all by herself, but she did not mind.

@Krash
Oh my, sorry to hear that! Get well soon. Drink lots of water, rest, and you'll be back on top in no time!

Cas, let me know if the name-font is wrong. I tried to find one that matches the one you use in the character sheet.

DAY 1 《》 STEELWATER [RD-PRS] 《》 After Noon 《》@Exit@Aeolian

▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇
A tiny, sinister although playful smirk came onto Emilia's lips after the 'no ammo' comment. And, that Clarke name was probably not going to go away anytime soon. Luckily, the rest of the team did not hear it, otherwise, Emilia would probably have to endure plenty of teasing until the end of time. The rest of Christina's words were half expected, yet difficult to realize. It was an almost inevitable truth to face. The moment that General McMahon had said Benjamin's name at the SWARG meeting this morning, Emilia could piece everything together herself, although reluctantly. She certainly did not want it to be this way, but how could she possibly correct it? This Archon that Christina mentioned was Ben, or perhaps they had to say Bahamut now. From what Emilia had heard, being in an Aeon/Spirit-induced Archon form was extremely intoxicating and addictive. Those who were able to assume that form did everything they could to maintain it for as long as possible.

"What happened to Ben? I don't know. I got a message from him some time ago that said that he had to do something, something he couldn't do while..." Emilia paused and let out a modest sigh. "...he was in the UDF, or something—memory is a bit hazy." She did not lie just then, but neither did she speak the entire truth. His real words in the text message had been '...while you and mom were around'. Although, it heavily implied that doing whatever it was that he had to do would not be possible while serving the UDF. While you and mom were around... hmpff, what does that even mean? I'd rather go with him than do this. Or, maybe that's just wishful thinking. No, it isn't, you are just afraid. Who am I talking to? Emilia's thoughts wandered, trying to hide wrinkling eyebrows and marginally frowning nose bridge. "So, you saw his Archon form? Does it look like the actual thing, Bahamut? It's, like, a mythological dragon or something where he is from." She asked with a hint of exhaustion on her face. The thought of having to go up against Ben, or any of his old team for that matter, had started to nag at Emilia's mental state.

After chatting for a few moments, things inside the PRS took an unexpected turn. The ordinary fluorescent lights switched mode in an instant to a deep red that consumed all other colors visible to the eye—clothes, equipment, and things appeared as if drenched in blood. Rotating emergency lights of yellow hue began to slowly spin within tiny blubs in the ceiling. And, a muffled commotion could somewhat be heard coming from the level below. Something was clearly wrong. As if on cue, Errikos' voice rang out in the PA system to warn about the outbreak in the Research Wing, and Oerba showed her pretty face riddled with despair and urgency. The young gal did not have to say two words. Emilia was quick on her feet and gestured to Christina to tag along. "Robert, Scylla, Aaron! Down below!" Emilia shouted as they descended deeper into the PRS towards the Research Wing. She had little to no idea where the others were, but Emilia assumed that all the warning lights and Erriko's voice were perceivable throughout the whole PRS.

The sight within the Research Wing was bizarre. It was almost as if there was another room in there connected by sliding doors and what Emilia thought to be reinforced glass of some kind. Inside, she could see some manner of pitch black smoke slowly swirling about in a corner, and then those people or whatever they were. They looked like corpses but mindlessly walked around and were somewhat aggressive in their twitching and motions. "What the... are those Stiggies?" Emilia asked with bewildered tones. She waved her arm at the door to see if it was motion activated—alas, nothing happened. There was a contraption next to the door that said 'IntCom' with a button labeled 'PTT' (Push To Talk). Emilia did not hesitate. "Isolde, are you in there? How do we open this door? It doesn't seem to respond. Is there a button or something?" Emilia spoke with a hurried voice while waving her other arm at the door, even putting her hand at it to see if something would happen.

Summary
Emilia and Christina continued their chat. They were interrupted by emergency lights, Errikos' voice, and Oerba. Something was wrong in the Research Wing. They hurry downstairs to find a bizarre view. Emilia has some trouble with getting the sliding doors to open.

Quest Steps
The sliding doors need to be opened manually, somehow. Anyone can create a way to make this happen either through Oerba (if that's alright with @Aeolian) or simply figuring it out on the spot. Or, @Krash has Errikos open it remotely again after seeing people coming to help. Inside, these 'zombie' Stiggies are classed as CANNON FODDER without a BOSS, so just slice away.

@nodogs
So, are you going to join us? Reprise Jack?
@Prisk

Oh! I'm sorry. I honestly didn't realize I was bringing in zombification into the plot. I genuinely thought that's what happens to humans when they first get infected with the stigma, like that plant in real life that turns ants into zombie-ants. lol

We can totally retcon the zombification part of my post if it isn't befitting for the plot.

No-no, I like the idea! The original infection expresses itself with pretty intense symptoms, I think I mention it in one of the lore images, but there is no 'rage' factor or anything like the zombie-ants. BUT, this 'new' strain should have that. It could be that anyone who is infected by the 'new' strain will experience this process, whereas all people don't turn into monsters after the original infection.

This adds another layer of threat to the whole situation. It could even be related to Ben's Archon form. Like, he is a super spreader of this new Stigma strain, but doesn't show symptoms himself.
Here's something that didn't occur to me before. @Aeolian's description of the 'new' Stigma strain and what it did to the people in the PRS Research Wing is essentially zombification, if I'm understanding it right.

Would a sort of zombie apocalypse on top of the already existing plot be something for us? It can be as extreme or subtle as we want, but I'm thinking it can add another layer of creativity.

If anyone has thoughts about this, do share. I don't feel the need to tag everyone for this, but it's worth thinking about.
