Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@The World: Okay, while you think your bio suffered for it I think it's way more approachable and understandable now. Accepted.

@DarkRecon: Before I even get into anything in the bio, I need to know the details of the project she apparently comes from. Kind of have to run that by me, even if it's just in PMs.

@webboysurf: This is looking good so far.
After the shuffling noise, and the sound of something falling from a shelf, the sports goods store was just as eerily still as the rest of the shopping center. Nothing moved or made the slightest sound. While there was blood out in the main area, there wasn't a single sign of anything of the sort within the store.

Here and there, there were items that had fallen, possibly knocked down during the evacuation effort. By this point, it was impossible to tell if anything had been knocked down recently, so there was no way of knowing where the sound had come from in the first place.

To put it simply, it was impossible to figure out just what had caused the sound.

But it wasn't as if a Beast-class demon was a bad guess.

As they neared the rear of the shop, however-

A figured blurred from around the corner, arms raised, poised to attack. It let out a loud sound, not unlike the war cry-

-of a young girl?

A baseball bat over her head, the girl looked to be no older then roughly nine, wearing a stroped tanktop and denim shorts with orange, striped thigh-high socks.

She paused, the bat still raised over her head.

"... W-wait," she started, "You're not demons?"

@Eviledd1984: And outsider character like that wouldn't really work at all.
@DarkRecon: I think so, but I would be able to answer that question more easily if everyone who's been accepted put their bios in the characters tab. ^^;
@The World: That's okay, the earliest I'm planning on starting is probably next week.
@Silverwind Blade: okay sorry for the delay, I think this is acceptable now.
At least the kid was alright.

Not that it mattered to her, really, it was more simply to spite the demon possessing the woman that she hadn't actually achieved anything. Then again, maybe she was fully aware of that fact...

Dripping with gore, Elizstrazia scowled.

"I'll tear that thing apart," the scale demon half-snarled.

Before she could press onward in hopes of pursuing the possessed woman, however, a blessed weapon was abruptly careening through the air towards her.

A blessed weapon---!

Anger.

White hot fury raged through the girl's heart at the mere sight of the thing.

It wasn't as if she recognized it. It wasn't as if she knew the wielder.

Rather, it was rage at the thought of what it stood for.

The halberd bit through empty air, as Elizstrazia hurled herself backwards through the air, her clawed feet grinding rents into the tile below, her lowered position dragging her nails through it as well.

Before she could lurch forward and retaliate, it seemed as if Katherine stepped in to try and angrily put at stop to the attack with words rather than violence.

The petite white-haired girl glared in the direction of her attacker, her crimson eyes burning as she slowly straightened.

"She's right, you know," she commented, cocking her head to one side, "We're not here to work with that idiot. But hey, if you want to scrap, that's fine by me!"

She leaned forward, her grin coming across more like baring her teeth, the sharp points glinting in her mouth.

Tearing apart someone who represented those bastards at the Church was hardly a negative in her eyes.

@LongSwordMain: There hasn't been any domestication of any extraterrestrial lifeforms.

@The World: I'd try and make things a little more concise just because it was a lot and extensive technical specs in the context of an RP bio can be a bit overwhelming, but my main points of advice are just to try and change up the main weapon and its appearance enough to not basically just be the Guren. Maybe something plasma-based could fill a similar role?

@Kero: I won't say no to esper powers, but I'll be scrutinizing any bio with them pretty heavily.

As for using an AC6 build, that's fine.

@Silverwind Blade: It's just how obvious it was with being literally branded Gundam, I'll take a look at the altered bio in a bit.

"Uwaaah..."

This was... a lot.

It wasn't as if the girl was entirely unfamiliar with being in public places. Much of her life had been spent in and out of the hospital, after all. But this was a particular dense and bustling sort of crowd, and it had only been her first time ever getting on a plane in the first place.

In some ways, it actually made her happy. At one time, she thought it was something she'd never live to experience. The sensation of lifting off, of moving through the sky, and now arriving at the airport, it was something entirely different from any of her prior experiences.

However-

That didn't mean it wasn't kind of overwhelming. Certainly, crowds weren't entirely unfamiliar to her, but the petite, white-haired girl found herself practically drowning in people.

She couldn't see around them very well, and it was so loud and bustling it felt like she might be swept far away in the tide.

Needless to say, Sophie was not exactly used to this kind of experience.

But she had to persevere! This was her opportunity not just to see the world around her without any training wheels on, but to grasp at the kind of things she had always dreamed about!

If she couldn't make it through the crowd, then she couldn't make it even further beyond!

But practically everyone here was taller than her and that made it incredibly difficult to see that beyond.

"E-er, excuse me... Ah! Pardon me, um, I need to get through? Please...!"

It was perhaps something of a miracle that lead to her finding a somewhat viable path through the bustling crowd.

Less miraculous was how she caught herself up on her own feet as she was just about to escape.

"Kyaaaaaa?!"

The world accelerated around her quite abruptly, as Sophie found the floor rushing up to meet her.

"Ooof!"

At least it hadn't been a particularly hard fall, and she wasn't feeling unwell at the time. But she still felt the air knocked out of her, and the slight jolt of impact through her chest and stomach rattling her small frame.

It took a few moments for her to start picking herself up, and it was at that moment that she finally saw the sign just ahead of her.

"Ah! That must be them!"
