"Humanity takes great pride in three things. Their willpower, their greed and their mortality.

Their will and endless greed allows them to grow and accend past other creatures
But their mortality denies them divinity

It's a delightful purgatory between being Fallen and being Divine"

Thanks to OMR's 'generosity' and the Hayward family's influence, Faye was able to get a room in one of the best 5 star hotels on Frankfurt. A place where both the OMR could keep an eye on her, was easily accessible for when they wanted to run some more tests about her abilities and it was comfortable enough in order to not offend the Hayward family and satisfy Faye's own tastes. With an incredibly soft and big bed, just the way Faye liked, she had a wonderful night of sleep despite being away from 'home' and the forest.

As the new day dawned, Faye was woken up by the few rays of sunlight that were able to pass through the heavy curtains that covered the windows, blocking both light and sound from the city below, a request from Faye herself as she wasn't accustumed with the lights and sounds of Frankfurt at night.

"Hnnng... What time is it...?" Faye muttered, yawning as she rolled on the bed and reached for her cellphone, only to immediately jump off the bed, alarmed as she saw the five lost calls and the three alarms that had failed to wake her up.

"Dammit! I am SO late!" Faye said to herself as she immediately started wearing her clothes and getting ready to go meet Amanda and the rest of the group.

Thanks to her portals and her blink ability, Faye didn't take too long to get to the meeting room. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to go back in time so she was still late.

"I'm sorry! The hotel bed was so comfortable and I- Ack!" Faye begun, her voice being heard before her presence was noticed as she blinked inside the room where Amanda, Madeleine and the other members already were, before she interrupted herself with a loud yelp, stumbling on the pile of documents Morgana had just stepped away from, making them all fall on top of her in a rain of papers and documents.

"Why would someone pile up documents like that?! That has to be made on purpose!" Faye complained as she stood up, looking at the huge mess that it caused, knowing that she definitely wouldn't be able to clean that up by herself.

As she gave a small look around the room, which seemed to be more a dungeon of documents and papers, straight out of a clerk's nightmare, she was relieved to hear from Amanda that she would accompany her to Minsk, since she would need her abilities to help uncover exactly what was going on there, meaning that she wouldn't have to deal with all that paper, with that job being left to Morgana and whoever else would prefer staying there instead of going to Minsk.

"I'm sorry Morgana, I didn't mean to..." Faye said, with an awkward smile as she looked to the amount of papers and documents now on the ground and then to Morgana again.

Myra kept staring at Vrexen for a moment as she offered him the meat, pondering why he seemed rather reluctant in accepting it. Sometimes, despite how... 'simple' Vrexen's way of thinking seemed to be, it was hard to figure out was was going through his head. After some encouragement from Astra though, he finally accepted, taking a large bite from the meat she offered him. Surprisingly enough, even Vrexen liked the meat, which was evident by his reaction upon tasting it, going as far as even making him hum in delight. Satisfied by his reaction, Myra smiled as she looked at Astra and Vrexen.

With Vrexen back on the group, Myra felt as if things got 'balanced' once again. Astra would continue to show her the wonders she could buy with the shinies she loved so much while Vrexen's... inconstant behavior would keep Myra's instincts sharp and give her some chances to sharpen her claws once in a while. Surprisingly enough, Astra seemed to be happy with Vrexen's return as well, which was a bit confusing for Myra, since it wasn't really that hard to realize Astra didn't like Vrexen that much. Still, judging by her tone of voice and her words, she seemed to be genuinely happy about it. While most of the stuff Astra was talking about, mainly about how she and Vrexen could be an 'item', flew right over Myra's head, she got the overall idea that Astra was happy that the 'team' was back together.

With their small 'reunion' over, Astra and Vrexen began discussing about their plans, or better, Astra's plans. While Myra was distracted most of the time, mesmerised by both how the light reflected and shined on the wings of the fairy Vrexen had just pointed to and because it was her first time seeing a person with wings. Such a sight was not only something new to Vrexen, but Myra as well. She couldn't help but to wonder how did that work. The woman's wings looked so beautiful and fragile and yet, she was able to flutter and fly around seemingly effortlessly through the air with them. Judging by how she moved too, she seemed to be very agile as well, which only made Myra even more puzzled. Myra's intense, curious stare was only broken when Astra gently rubbed Myra's head. While she didn't know what she did to receive the praise, she was still happy for the attention received.

Catherine let out a smirk as she noticed the dragon's surprised reaction as it breathed the gas. Truly, dragons were very similar to some nobles. So arrogant and proud that they thought of themselves as gods... Which only made it easier to strike them down. Surprisingly enough though, even though it was clear that the poison was working, it only made the dragon woozy, despite how concentrated it was, something which did made even Catherine a bit surprised.

"Hm... I may have underestimated a dragon's physiology... Interesting..." she said to herself, looking to the surprised dragon almost as if she was watching a test subject.

"Producing a more concentrated mixture, without making it lethal will take some rather difficult to find materials... Although, if everything goes right, resources won't be a problem after this mission and I'll have enough funds to make some very interesting toys..." she said with a chuckle.

Still curiously studying the dragon's reaction, it was only after he spoke that Catherine noticed the newcomer. The strange adventurer seemed to have appeared out of thin air and offered to be the one to pay the 'toll' in place of the group. Although it seemed to be already too late. Not only because the dragon would certainly be offended by Catherine's sleeping gas, but because of what Fei was about to do.

"If I were you, I would wait for the sleeping gas to..." Catherine began to say, trying to warn Fei about the gas, before he could rush towards the dragon. Unfortunately, she was already too late, as when she began saying that, Fei had already started rushing towards the dragon, jumping over it and smashing it to the ground with a mighty attack, having enough force to crack the ground underneath the dragon.

"Dissipate before going in..." Catherine finished her sentence only after Fei completed his attack, sighing.

"I mean, at least this will serve as an experiment. It's the first time someone who drank an concentrated energy tonic gets exposed to a very concentrated sleeping gas. It's a lot of stress to someone's body. After all, both mixtures were extremely concentrated... Since he's a martial artist, I doubt anything bad will happen, but I wonder for how long the tonic will keep him awake..." Catherine said, shrugging before she turned her attention to her newest 'test subject'.

"Fine... I wont just keep watching... If he falls unconscious before the dragon is dealt with I'll go get him..." Catherine said, already foreseeing the protests that would come from the rest of the party should she only keep watching.

"If you guys want to avoid an impromptu slumber party, I would avoid inhaling the gas. Unlike Fei who drank the tonic, you guys will definitely fall unconscious within seconds of being exposed to it." she warned the rest of the party, before she grabbed one more vial and threw towards the dragon, who was still a bit stunned thanks to Fei's attack.

The moment the vial shattered on top of the dragon, the unstable mixture inside it heated up and exploded with enough force to send a shockwave to even Anki and Srikandi, who weren't as close from the dragon as Fei and Catherine were.

Myra was still eating when Astra began talking with her about both of them making a good team. While Myra could agree that being near Astra was definitely safer than being near Vrexen, she had a sneaking suspicion that her instincts might grow dull if she continued to hang around Astra for so long. Sure, she enjoyed the food, the shinies Astra traded were indeed pretty and things were pretty comfortable with her, but after a few days living that 'good life', Myra's body craved for the thrill of the hunt, the fresh, still warm meat, the sensation of her muscles tensing up before pouncing on a prey, the feeling of running after it... Vrexen was indeed dangerous and unpredictable, but being near him kept Myra's instincts sharp.

It was at this very moment, just when Astra was talking about him that Vrexen suddenly appeared behind her, much to Astra's dismay. Myra had no idea of what had happened with Vrexen before, but she knew that wasn't anything good. She could still smell the scent of blood coming from him.

Surprisingly enough, despite the things that Astra said, Vrexen didn't seem to be mad with her. Instead he seemed to be almost worried as he told them that they had to leave Aldrakh quickly, as he mentioned the name of one of the other demons, one of unsettling creatures Myra had seen back in Daka, something which immediately made Myra understand why Vrexen was acting like that. As much as she wanted to avoid meeting with the demon Vrexen was talking about though, what Astra said about the sun was indeed true. While the heavy smoke and the place where Aldrakh was located made the sun more tolerable, she had no doubts that if she got out while the sun was still high in the sky, not even her would be able to resist the effects of the sun... She wasn't sure if she would burn like Vrexen said, but she knew that the weakness she felt when she was back on the boat wasn't just because of the sea or the rocking and shaknig of the boat.

After hearing their words and agreeing with Astra's reasoning, Myra grabbed the remaining of the meat she was eating, holding it by the bone and approached both of them, waiting to see where they would go after offering Vrexen a bite from the meat Astra gave her.

Complying with Astra's request, Myra used her claws to cleanly cut a chunk of meat, handing it to Astra soon after, licking her claws as she curiously watched Astra as she began her 'performance'. Changing her expression and even her tone of voice in an instant. Her loud exclamations as she looked to the meat and then to the orcs. Truth be told, Myra was confused at first. She didn't need to know much about words to understand that the things she was saying to the orcs weren't exactly praises or anything like that and the orcs' expressions made it clear that they were equally stunned with Astra's little show, if not extremely annoyed by it. Myra was even worried for a second that things might become ugly, but the moment Astra ate the meat, she once again completely changed both her expression and her tone of voice in a second.

Clearly displaying her satisfaction, to the point of pleasure as she took a bite from the piece of meat Myra gave her, all the stares and attention she drew with her previous words immediately began looking at the orcs and the meat they were making, incredulous that it could be really that good. With so many eyes on the meat, many of which were on the piece of meat Astra had bought for Myra, she began getting worried, especially when Astra shared the piece of meat she had cut for her with a stranger. Surely, Astra wasn't expecting Myra to share her food with all those people who were watching... right?

The very moment Astra sinalled Myra she could start eating the meat, Myra immediately sank her teeth into it, taking a big bite as she warily looked around, giving a piercing glare at anyone who got too close from her food and even hissing if they didn't get the message and approached it even more. Just as Astra had said though, the meat was indeed delicious. While Myra did enjoy the different seasonings and tastes they used on the meat back on the inn, this one was much more 'pure'. It was meat. High quality meat and that was it. It needed no seasoning other than a little bit of salt to draw it's full flavour. The fat almost melted on Myra's mouth, mixing with the meat's juices and only making it taste even better. Surprised by how good it tasted, Myra looked to Astra with a surprised expression, before she turned her attention back to the meat and continued to voraciously devour it, savoring every bite of it.

With a voracious look in her face, Myra continued waiting expectantly as she listened to Astra discussing with the orcs. While Myra should probably pay attention at what Astra was saying, she was currently too busy being entranced by the piece of meat. The sound of the meat sizzling and the juices evaporating as they touched the hot embers below, the way how the fire was carefully roasting every side of the meat as it continued slowly spinning over the fire, the juices from the meat slowly dripping into the fire, evaporating as they touched the hot embers below, even the smell the meat gave off, having no unnecessary spices or condiments, just the pure flavor of the meat and some salt to enhance it, everything contributed for Myra to be completely distracted and entranced by it.

While Myra did like and enjoyed the raw meat she hunted, being a predator herself, thanks to Astra's influence, she had discovered the wonders of cooked food and recently started developing a taste for it. From the seasoned meat she ate back on the inn to this one she was going to eat now, each food had a different taste from the other, according to the type of meat, how it was prepared and even the spices used.

It was only when Astra had a strange reaction when talking to the orc that Myra finally looked away from the meat, trying to understand what was going on. Unsurprisingly, Myra wasn't able to really grasp what exactly the orcs and Astra were talking about, both due to some words she didn't know and because Myra didn't really know how to 'read between the lines'. What she did understand though, despite being a complicated word, was when Astra mentioned 'bargaining'. She had already used that word a few times before and always when she was trading shinies with other people. Somehow, Astra seemed to always be able to convince the others to give her stuff for less shinies than they had initially wanted and in some rare cases, even for free. While Myra already had a very basic idea of the value the shinies, or 'Amas' as she called had, she didn't yet understand the weird magic Astra used to always have trades go her way.

Unsurprisingly, it seemed Astra was successful once again, judging by the tone of one of the orc brothers. Myra was about to start devouring the meat, without even bothering to cut it away from the bone as Astra called her, asking for a bite. More specifically the first bite. While Myra didn't really have a problem with sharing some of her meat with her travel companions and was considering doing it even without receiving nothing in exchange, she definitely became more motivated once Astra mentioned that if Myra helped her, she would consider not having her wear the annoying 'clothes' again.

With nothing really to lose, other than a few seconds of waiting before she could sink her teeth into the meat, she nodded vigorously, approaching the meat and showing her claws, looking to Astra almost as if waiting for her to say which piece of meat she wanted and the exact size before Myra cut it for her.

Nuallán watched the humans' reactions as they walked through the city with an amused expression. From the architecture, to the demi-humans, the humans' reactions ranged from amazement, curiosity and awe, to even indifference, annoyance and discomfort. For Nuallán, the uniqueness in the humans' way of thinking, acting and even living their own lives was indeed amusing. He didn't know if it was a fruit of their short lifespan or their culture, but humans lived their own lives in an incredibly fast and intense manner. For them, every moment was precious, every experience, something to savour and enjoy. In that aspect, there was a stark difference between them and the elves, whom due to their long lives, often took their lives in a much slower pace and in a way less intense manner. Courtship on Elven society only happened after a long time of silent, distant admiration and often continued for many years before any kind of relationship was formed. Which was one of the reasons why Nuallán was so curious and surprised to see Caelan and Sophie already developing some feelings for one another despite having met each other so recently.

Surprisingly enough, just after Caelan and Sophie let go of each other's hands, embarrassed by what happened, he couldn't help but take a quick, small glance at Rosaria, whom he knew would greatly enjoy watching the two humans' feeling blossoming for one another. At that moment, their eyes met for a second, which caused even the normally composed Nuallán to look away, embarrassed after being caught searching for Rosaria's smile.

With the group sittin down to eat, Nuallán did so as well, asking for a simple but balanced breakfast with some camel meat, eggs and a bread and ate quietly as he kept a watchful eye on both his surroundings and the patrons that entered or left the place. The moment they sat down, Nuallán could see how exhausted and tired they all were. They had all rested only for a short time as they were on their way to Myriamor. Truth be told, the journey had been a difficult one until now, but the humans did well keeping up with them so far.

"Myriamor is famous not only by it's beauty, but by it's culture and it's perfumed oils as well. Desert herbs, while rare, do have an exquisite fragrance and hold medicinal properties too from what I've heard." Nuallán said with a smile as he looked at Aurora, who mentioned that the air smelled beautiful in Myriamor.

"Our stay in Myriamor might be short but please, take this time to rest and recover your energy. The journey so far has been harsh and we owe you all a well deserved rest." he said with a silent nod of approval, congratulating the humans for getting this far and thanking them for supporting Rosaria.

Most of the humans were holding on pretty well despite how exhausted they were, with the exception of Jomari of course, whom despite everything, continued with a rather hostile attitude. His comment about the food and the way he asked Rosaria about who were they going to meet didn't pass unnoticed by Nuallán, who sent him a sharp glare as he did so that quickly passed the message that unlike Rosaria, he wasn't that patient.

"Even though Princess Mikazuki is Lady Rosaria's close friend, she is still a princess and deserves to be treated and respected as such. As Lady Rosaria's guests, I ask you to be on your best behavior." Nuallán said to the group with a serious tone, although that could be considered a friendly reminder when compared to the gaze he gave Jomari.

It was at that moment that while Nuallán was looking around and watching their surroundings, he noticed that among the patrons, there were two faces that he had seen a few moments ago when they arrived at Myriamor. The light elf and the feline demi-human from earlier.
Instead of looking straight at them though, Nuallán kept looking around making it look like he was still searching around, before he looked at Rosaria after a moment, seemingly not finding anything suspicious.

"Lady Rosaria, don't be alarmed, but we might have been followed." Nuallán whispered, as he approached Rosaria, giving a small affirmative nod towards her and letting out a calm expression to try and make anyone who might be following them to think that they still didn't notice anything.

"I don't want to alarm the humans and ruin their rest... or yours. In case something happens, I will deal with it, silently." Nuallán said before he went back to his seat.

"Well... I should probably have mentioned you to be careful with it. It's the same formula I use when I'm too busy with my research to bother with sleeping... for a few days..." Catherine said, laughing as Fei Bai Ho mentioned that he seemed to be a bit 'shaky' from the potion she gave him.

"Besides, it's very difficult to find a formula strong enough to have any effect on me." she said with a smirk and a shrug.

Before the group could even discuss what they would do next though, a sudden, strong gust of wind and a strange feeling of dread in the air immediately told Catherine that there was something wrong... Mere moments after that, Srikandi shouted, calling the group's attention and saying they needed to run and hide now, confirming Catherine's suspicons that something bad was about to happen...

Unfortunately, the sudden roar that cut Srikandi off and the snowstorm that quickly followed it made it clear that that there was no time for them to hide anymore. As the dragon started to talk, fully displaying it's arrogance, Catherine couldn't help but roll her eyes, annoyed as she sighed. Such arrogance was exactly like the one used by many nobles and kings, something which always annoyed her to no end. Fortunately, in most cases, those arrogant types, be them humans or not, were often so self centered that it was rather easy to fool and manipulate them if you acted in the way they expected you to act and said the correct words.

"I don't know if anything we might have brought for our expedition will be of any interest to you... I mean... Other than my potions, I don't usually carry valuables around. See?" she said, looking to the rest of the group with a discreet smirk before giving a step forward, shrugging as she took one of the potions from her coat showing it to the dragon. What neither the dragon, nor the rest of the party knew though, was that the potion Catherine got was in fact, a very potent sleeping compound, that would immediately start turning into gas upon contact with the air.

"I do have some potions to serve as payment for your 'toll' maybe? Some energetic tonics, there are even a few hallucinogens that a few nobles like to use recreationally. Or maybe, you might be interested in this one? It was a request made by the royalty. Took quite a while and some rather expensive ingredients to make this perfume." Catherine said, as she and dangled the potion between her fingers before she 'accidentally' let the potion slip from her hand and fall to the ground.

As the vial broke on the ground, just a few meters away from the dragon, it's liquid started turning into gas the very moment it came in contact with the air. Thanks to the wind and the way Catherine positioned herself when she went forward to speak with the dragon, most of the gas went towards the dragon instead of the group. Despite that, they could still smell the rather sweet scent that the gas had.

"Dammit! This one took quite a while to make... Oh well, pay no mind to the gas. It's probably just going to make you smell good for a few hours or so." she said to the dragon, tapping her nose before she turned to the group, doing the exact same gesture, but with a slightly more serious expression, before she turned to the dragon again, feigning an apologetic expression. Now she just had to wait until the potion made effect. While it shouldn't take too long, considering how strong it was, she wasn't sure if it would be enough to make the dragon fall asleep. In the worst case, it would at least cloud his judgement, making him slower and more lethargic.

December 30th, Frontline trench

Unlike other soldiers and shocktroopers, who more often than not were advocates of 'the bigger, the better' mindset regarding weapons and equipment, Emmerich's equipment was kept to the bare minimum. Wielding only the standard federation sidearm and his trench knife as his weapons and only taking the most basic tools, even his shocktrooper armor seemed to be less 'bulky' and have less protection overall than the others. While he knew very well how effective rifles could be on the right hands, when the combat happened in such a close range, a pistol and a knife would often show themselves to be way more effective and less cumbersome than a long weapon. After all, be it a pistol a shotgun or a rifle, a bullet was a bullet. When well placed, just one was enough to end a life.

Cpt. Middleton's explanation was kept short and simple. Every soldier there knew what they had to... or so Emmerich hoped. That mission could be quick and fast if they pulled their cards right. Being an Imperial himself, he knew very well how the empire liked to build their trenches. While they may appear confusing to those who weren't familiar with their layout, if one paid enough attention, they would realize that they were all designed and built in a very similar manner, with a very similar logic behind it, so every soldier could quickly memorize their layout and knew how to navigate through them even when being transferred to another battlefield. With that knowledge, it should take him only a few minutes to situate himself and know exactly where they should go to raise their chances of finding an NCO.

Unfortunately, no matter how efficient Emmerich's plans were on his own head, they proved to be useless when the gunner, Mehetabel, ran ahead of the rest of the group, throwing herself into the trenches without any support or plan.

"Shit..." Emmerich said to himself, cursing as he watched Mehetabel rushing in.

It didn't take much for the first gunshot to alert the imperials of their presence. With the element of surprise gone as Alex rushed behind Mehetabel, shooting the first imperial in the head while Victoria used her bayonet, brutally impaling the second soldier. If being silence wouldn't work anymore, they would have to be as fast as possible and get out before the imperials could call for reinforcements.

With fast and agile movements, Emmerich rushed inside the trench just to see an imperial soldier a few meters away, recovering from the sudden shock of seeing the two other soldiers suddenly killed in such a brutal manner. The very moment he started raising his rifle to aim at them, Emmerich was already close. With experienced movemends and a cold efficiency, Emmerich knocked the soldier down with a knee to the stomach, making his rifle fly away from his hands before he buried his knife on the soldier's throat.

Just as Faye finished to talk a bit about herself, Xaviron made a rather interesting question about the Fairies, mentioning that his instructor said that the fairies were leaving this world in large groups. Such question made Faye's expression become a bit more serious and thoughtful as she replied.

"Well... Yes and no. Fairies aren't leaving the world. They are just leaving the human world. The world is much bigger than what humans think it is. Places untouched by human hands, where natural, primordial magic still flows strongly." Faye said, the brief silence after she spoke being a clear signal that she wasn't going to say much more about the exact places where fairies lived.

"Still, there are still some humans who have contact with fairies though... Sometimes knowingly, others, unknowingly... Those who are closer to the world than the others, closer to magic itself." Faye said, with a mischievous expression as she gave a small glance to both Micheal and Xaviron himself, clearly hinting at something.

"There are two main reasons for this... One is that the modern world... The 'human' world isn't a place for the fairies anymore. Fairies feel magic, live magic, they are magic... Free, wild and untamed. Humans, in the other hand, always tried to control and posess magic, to shape it to their own desires. Their magic formulas, their spells and their enchantments force magic to flow how they want it to flow... It's the complete opposite of the fairies' nature, going against their very essence. The other reason, perhaps the most impactful one is that there is nothing more terrifying for the fairies than the energy that the 'Abomination' unleashed in this world after the Shattering... The seeds that it planted continue to slowly grow and take roots. The Earth itself fights against it, but no matter how powerful and mighty is the magic that run through it's 'veins', it won't be able to stop the corruption forever..." she continued, her tone becoming darker more serious this time.

As the other members began talking about their own origins, stories and how the came to the OMR though, Faye's curiosity quickly made her mood get better as she listened curiously to their words. While she did notice that the group was pretty 'diverse' before, it was only now that she was realizing how true that was. Each one of the members had a different background and came from many different parts of the world. Each one with their own stories to tell, some even having mixed blood like Faye, such as Xaviron himself. Even when talking about training and skills, there was only a few similarities between the members.

Faye smiled, satisfied when Scarlet accepted her suggestion to try a bit of her Bockwurst.

"Avi said it's like a sausage made of pork and ground veal. It will be my first time eating it as well so we can give it a try together when it gets here." Faye said with a smile.

"I don't know that much more than you to be honest! One of the reasons why the OMR called me here to be a recruit is because they want to study, register and test the limits of my abilities." Faye said, with a little giggle when Scarlet mentioned that she should at least know more about the OMR than she did.

"I have a feeling that the fairies would get along rather well with these trickster gods!" Faye said with a chuckle as she turned her attention towards Micheal when he spoke about the Shaman Confederacy.

Faye already knew Morgana was an expert in 'human' magic, but the moment she said a bit more about herself, Faye had realized that Morgana was much more important in the magic academic society than she realized. Even though Faye herself didn't care much about 'human' magic, she knew about the Department of Heretical Studies and how influential it was on the magic academic society.
Other than that, Morgana did, surprisingly enough put into words the exact same question Faye made herself a while ago, about the reason behind the group's creation and the members that were chosen.

As the food the group asked for finally arrived and the group started voraciously devouring the food, Amanda mentioned how hungry the group was. Which honestly, was expected after such an... 'agitated' day.

"Here you go Scarlet! You'll definitely won't regret tasting it! It's great!" Faye said as she cut a piece of her bockwurst and passed it to Scarlet. Merely by looking at Faye eating, was enough for Scarlet, and pretty much anyone else, quickly realize that she was simply loving the dish she asked for.

When Amanda asked about how it tasted, trying to figure out what exactly 'eating' felt lke, Faye got a bit surprised. It was definitely a hard question to answer. After all, eating was something so natural that nobody ever really stopped to think that much about it.

"It's not just about ingesting nutrients! Food is simply delicious! There's the taste, the food's texture, the smell, even the appearance influences on how one can 'enjoy' their food! Plus, food tastes especially good when you're hungry!" she said, chuckling as she stopped eating to answer Amanda.

"The meat has a very juicy texture and the inside is really smooth! I don't know what they used to season it but it's awesome! It's like if it was smoked, but it also has some herbs inside that give the meat that 'zing', you know?" Faye said, trying her hardest to describe what 'eating' the bockwurst was like.

"It's very hard to explain properly how it feels, but if you have the opportunity to try it, you definitely should!" she finished, encouraging Amanda to try the augmentation she mentioned about.

The moment Amanda began explaining about the Agent Potential Calculator, mentioning algorythms and other complicated stuff, it was almost as if Faye's brain immediately began ignoring the boring stuff, concentrating only on her food, that was, until Amanda mentioned that she had a high future potential, even though she was very inexperienced.

"Wait, you mean that even me, who never had any formal training before, have a promising future as an agent?" Faye asked, surprised.
