I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.
Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss
Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)
Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.
Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.
RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.
As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.
RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.
And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.
Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.
Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...
Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.
Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.
Isaia just stared straight at Davis. ”I have no idea, but I think we’re going to find out.”
”You sound like you might miss me Daimyon.” Noel wore a coy smile. ”I wonder how you’ll choose to remember me. You actually get to decide, unlike most of us.” Her smile soon faded. ”I’m not sure what’s going to happen, but you need to get into my room. There are some things there that everyone will find interesting.” She smiled again. ”Also, please develop the pictures. I took a lot of nice ones.”
”Guess what time it is? Can ya guess?” Monokuma folded his arms behind his back. ”It’s time for one last PUNISHMENT TIIIIIIME!”
Blast off
Before Noel was a massive metropolis, skyscrapers as far as the eye could see. There were clouds floating around her head, but there wasn’t much she could do about that. Her wrists had been bound at her hips, and her legs had been tied together. She had been tied to a a giant piece of rebar to prevent her from bending forward or backwards. The lower half of her body had been placed inside a phone booth, While four monokumas stood outside of it.
Once she had been lowered inside, they gave the booth a spin. As soon as it stopped, she had been decked out in super hero attire. She was wearing most of her Justiciar uniform, but a red cape with a giant gold monokuma had been stitched to her shoulders, and she was wearing goggles. It took a few seconds for her eyes to stop spinning, and the monokumas gave each other a thumbs up.
One of the monokumas ran up behind the telephone booth and kicked it forward, causing it to rock and almost fall off of the skyscraper. Only it stopped at a forty-five degree angle and then, nothing.
Until the explosion.
Noel was launched out of the telephone booth. Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings at a single bound! She flew over the concrete jungle, but her momentum could only cary her for so long. She eventually dipped, and dissapeared behind some buildings. The monokuma bots kept an ear open for the sound of glass shattering, a womanly screem that wasn’t Noel, and a siren.
"And with that, the game is concluded." Davis turned around to leave. "Though a word of caution: Just because the game is over, that does not mean you don’t have to escape." Davis rose his hands up into the air. "The rules are all NULL now. You and the carnage sisters are free to do as you like." He looked over his shoulder at Alice. "Even Parker."
Isaia pounded his podium. ”I knew the jabberjaw was lying!”
"Friends, it has been a pleasure. I’m sure you’ll all make your way to the top of the tower. It would be a shame if your adventure ended here." Davis sunk into a trap door in the floor, and vanished.
Cyrus adjusted his glasses. ”Well, we’re not going to escape standing around here. We should look and see what Noel prepared for us.” He looked at his handbook. ”With the rules removed, nothing is preventing us from breaking into Noel’s room.”
Jezebel wrapped her arms around Zachary. “Just a little further.”
Elsewhere, a safe slid open an extra inch. Just an inch, a bit wider than a finger. But it had already slid four inches previously. Five inches didn’t sound like a lot. It wasn’t much to a lot of people. But to Alice, it was freedom.
At last, she was able to insert her claws into the pathway. She had eight different pairs of claws, but only these were strong enough to open the safe the rest of the way. But the fingers were blunted, and the only way she could get a hold was if she had those five inches. With a beastly cry, she forced the door open the rest of the way. A cacophony of metalic screams pierced the air as the door was forced against its locks. It glowed in spots, the metal turning into slag as it was pushed open.
Her other sisters had been waiting for her. They could come back to life as many times as they wanted, but that was only because their chassis were so cheap. Their weaponry couldn’t penetrate her, and they were much too slow to even land a hit. A single swing of her chains were enough to dispatch them. Only Kira posed a challenge, but not a threat. She could kill an infinite with a snap of her fingers, but against her advanced sister? She was just a joke.
A joke that Parker fully intended to finish before moving on to the rest of the facility.
Once everyone returned to the patients quarters, the first thing they did was approach Noel’s room. With a single kick, Dennis sent the door flying open. Splinters littered the floor, but no one entered the room. Not right away.
”You first.” Denis offered to Daimyon.
The room was much like one would expect of the infinite reporter. Newspaper clippings everywhere, with a camera hung up on the corner of the bed.
The first item of interest was a crumpled letter. It had seen many hands. Noel must have gotten it from Krista’s room, and Krita got it from Marianne But the note in particular had been written by Shona Moffit. The first infinite in the infinite killing game. Even if every day was new for Daimyon, seeing her handwriting scrawled across the page was strangely nostalgic.
To my companions,
I doubt very much that I will be alive when you read this. Dr. Killgood wants to make a statement by killing one of us. If our captors are anything like Ultimate Dispair, then they will keep as many of us alive as possible. They want us to participate in a killing game, and they need players for that. By killing one of us, he plans to drive us into despair. If everything goes right, I will be that sacrifice. I will save the more important members of our group.
The temptation will be to look at my death as a great loss. While such feelings are appreciated, they undermine what I am trying to do. If you could spare a moment, I'd like you to read about my origins.
When the calamity was underway, I was not a very attractive girl. I was healthy, but muscles aren't desirable on a woman. People called me sausage, Arnold, butter face, and a great number of other unpleasant things. The despair gangs in Ireland picked up on my low self-esteem and were quick to accept me among their numbers. I did not fully understand what they were about, but joined them regardless. They gave me companionship and made me feel beautiful, something the locals never did. Sixteen is a confusing age for any child.
But then came the initiation phase. They wanted me to show them what I could do, and took me to my neighbors. I remember the Kanes well, two elders who took every opportunity to mock my appearance. I had thought about killing them many times, but being asked to do so by my “friends” was different. It was impossible for me to do. I would love to tell you that I saved them and slew every gang member present, but I wasn't the infinite knight yet. I was only able to save myself. They wiped out the entire neighborhood while I fled. It wasn't until I encountered a resistance group that things started to get better. I thickened my skin, studied chivalry, and became a master of medieval warfare.
I'm telling you this in hopes that you will see me as Shona Moffet and not the infinite knight. I was a human with splendid morals, but I am just as fallible as the meekest of you. I need not be put on a pedestal too tall for you to reach. If you stick together, I'm sure you can be just as strong as I was, if not stronger.
Please don't be mad with Calvin. I insisted he make a sword for me to slay the carnage sisters with. I knew Monokuma would select him as a “damsel” if he was isolated from everyone else. If this also comes to pass, then my plan really did work exactly the way I wanted it to. And if you're reading this, then someone took my E-handbook and entered my room. This was also intentional, and just one more way I was able to outsmart our captors. If not, at least I die a true knight.
Under the letter was a weapon chest. It contained all of the weapons that Calvin had made while he was alive. Among them was a K-bar with the initials “A.P.” engraved in the handle.
There was a bit more to go through, but Daimyon was interrupted by a sudden announcement.
”Hey uh, I know the game is over and everything, but you know what? I don’t think Davis gives you guys enough credit for what you do. So you know what? I’m going to give you guys a bonus reward! I’m going to bring one of your friends back from the dead!”
”Hey uh, I know the game is over and everything, but you know what? I don’t think Davis gives you guys enough credit for what you do. So you know what? I’m going to give you guys a bonus reward! I’m going to bring one of your friends back from the dead! ”
Cyrus looked at the monitor in Noel’s room. ”What’s that bear talking about?” Though all the old infinites were taken back when they saw Shona’s face pop up on the screen
”This muscle bound amazon is Shona Moffett. Because she's the Infinite knight, she's a little stuck in the dark ages. You won't find her on twitter or anything because she's a total square.”
The sound of an elevator opening up could be heard just outside.
Nuncio breathed a sigh of relief, happy that no one noticed his momentary daydreaming. Or at the very least, weren’t going to question him about it.
”Stray cats ain’t nothin’ special. I’d think it was weird if one wasn’t livin’ in a warehouse.” He placed his hand over Fabio. The hair on the feline stood up. Nuncio was pumping all kinds of beastly magics into the arabian mau. What appeared to be a chubby kitten now had his blessing. Fabio sprung to his feet and bolted into the air, zipping around the roof like a cheetah. ”Relax Fabio! We need stealth!” Though oddly, the kitten didn’t make any sound. ”Anyway, short of gettin’ picked up by magical senses, Fabio is indistinguishable from a normal cat. Unless he’s, ya know?” He gestured towards Fabio, who was presently displaying speed and agility beyond some magical girls. ”Fabs, please.” The cat stopped and sat in the snow. ”You get a treat when we’re done here, kay?”
Nuncio looked towards Mariette when she mentioned that Sammy had been moved. ”Kinda curious how you know where she is moment to moment.” He squinted his eyes. ”You better not be a Mint agent.” With a snap of his fingers, Fabio was on the move. ”Might as well have Fabio approach the warehouse without any magical assistance. If he can’t find a way in, I’ll have him make his own li’l opening.” Nuncio chuckled and looked at the image displayed by his anatomy doll. ”Ready for a distraction.”
Tetrad’s smile diminished bit by bit as Ronin spoke. Body guards don’t get drunk? She’s not 18? Anti-drunk magic? Just say you don’t feel like a sip. Geeze, apparently fun sized people can be up tight too.
“Well, I’m 19. But the legal drinking age is 21 anyway.” Tetrad grinned. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. “First rule of being an agent is that you don’t talk openly about objectives. But nah, she seems well guarded, so I’m just having a good time.”
Tetrad raised an eyebrow. Reaver had just downed a glass of acid. That was kind of a turn off. Well, to everyone but Cindy. To Tetrad it seemed kind of desperate. The kind of dedication you show when you want something bad. Tetrad was sure this guy wanted a little more than a hot piece of ass. Even with regeneration, that couldn’t have been a pleasant experience. “Might wanna watch him.”
Then the assassination attempt happened.
“Are you kidding me?” Tetrad said a bit louder than she should have. “Who goes to assassinate people wearing their clan’s logo? Who tries to kill a lightning queen with a metal frickin’ knife?”
Tetrad looked at Goblina. The entire situation felt fishy. She came in, gave a half-assed report, was the first to declare it an assassination, and was the one who both found the Beacon themed jewelry AND the phone. She could have staged this entirely by herself. Goblina was likely a mint agent, or whoever was staging this. If there weren’t even more hiding among the party, that is. Though for obvious reasons, Pointing out that Goblina was a possible Mint plant was far more likely to backfire at this point. Now she needed to get more details. Where did this beacon girl come from. Was she even really beacon?
“I would not be too quick to run off, your majesty.” Tetrad kneeled beside the unconscious beacon (?) girl. ”This assassination attempt feels like it was intended to fail.” Tetrad was searching for a wallet, something that could be used to identify who the woman was. She was also going to try and divine her accessories to see if they changed hands in the past. If this girl was willingly setting up beacon to fall, then everything present could have been planted. ”A bracelet and phone are hardly conclusive evidence. Without a proper ID, we have no idea if the phone or bracelet even belongs to this girl. Furthermore, If this was Beacon, they might be trying to draw you into a trap.” She pinged Veronica to get her to read her memories. There was no way she could explain all of this in time, and she doubted the headstrong queen would wait for a proper investigation.
”DID SOMEONE SAY ASSASSINATION!?!?!?!?”
”Lotus, Plz.”
— Lotus & Faith
”!”
Lotus floated over, but by then everything had concluded.
”Mmmmm. Weakling, she was taken out with a single punch. It was a mercy she was dealt with before I could intervene.” She looked to Cindy. ”The Cardinal, on the other hand, sounds like a worthy opponent.”
Faith danced over. She nearly screamed at the sight of the downed body, but then realised she was just out cold. ”How ghastly! She looks rather peaceful now that she’s sleeping though~!” Faith placed her hands together. ”I suppose we’ll have to table our discussion for later then. Would you rather we remain here, or come with you?” She hugged her harp against her chest.
Veronica was not oblivious to the small round object hovering after her. Years of shady work had taught her to be aware of such details. With all of her magical facilities overpowered by the magical aura, it was impossible to tell what the drone did or even who it belonged to. It could possibly a bomb, possibly a camera, it didn’t matter. Veronica wasn’t bothered by its presence. So long as it stayed away from Cindy, she was happy.
Of course, someone was not happy about it.
”Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet dunked on!”
— Betty Bio-Hazard
Like most wind girls, Betty was attune to things moving around in open spaces. She popped into the air and roundhouse kicked the drone deep into the rave. It bounced off the far wall before landing in a minotaur girl’s bra. She jumped a bit, clearly unsure where this bit of debri came from.
“Betty.” Veronica looked at her bodyguard out of the corner of her eye. “Keep the violence to a minimum.”
”Of course!” Betty saluted. She was still dressed as the norm, but had her weapons hidden from sight. It kinda worked for a rave. ”Was that Amaryllis on the roof? I should say hello to her, it’s been a while.”
“We have more pressing matters to attend to.”
Of course things had to get more complicated. As soon as Tetrad notified Veronica of what was going on, She looked at Tetrad’s memories to get a glimpse of what just transpired. Everyone needed to be updated, Ronin included.
“It seems that Cindy is going to leave the rave to assassinate the cardinal. I had not anticipated Cindy would be so careless with her own safety, but here we are.” Veronica growled. “We are not done here though, I am not convinced the rave is more than it seems on the surface. Ronin, you will have to follow Cindy. I do not think we will be fortunate enough for her to take Cradle as a whole with her. But should the need arise, I can get everyone to your location barring any interference. I can only hope that Tetrad can uncover the assassin’s true allegiance before Cindy starts a war with Beacon.”
”No pressure.”
Veronica was able to pick up on Ronin’s emotional response to something happening in the rave. How bothersome sisterly love was. “I will protect your sister to the best of my ability. You need only concern yourself with stopping this war.”
It wasn’t too hard to find the small harpy. The sea of bodies was vast, but it was hard to not notice Justine approaching the poor girl. There was a magical boy with her, but he hardly mattered in the moment.
“Seems Justine is here. This just gets better every second.”
Veronica walked up behind Eli, looking straight over her head at Justine.
“I thought vampires preferred things that bled.” Veronica stepped through Eli so that she was in front of her. “I suppose that’s only real vampires, huh?”
”Guess I gotta step in.”
— Tonya “Mac” Murphy
Age: 24/11 | Gender: Female/Female | Illusion, Gravity Body | Power of Friendship, Regeneration, Third Eye | Moirai Coercion, Soul Jar, Martial Training, True Sight, Parasite, Gifted, Awareness, Overcity Shift, Mystic Artifact
Things would be turning into a shit show very quickly. Fortunately, the firepower in here was strong enough that Mac didn't really have to worry about it too much. She just needed to get Justine out and then catch up with Cindy and the others to manipulate things on that end. What a pain. What a waist of perfectly innocent lives.
But while she was thinking about it, she beefed up Viper's disguise, just so that it wouldn't fall apart too soon. Third eye people were a pain in the ass.
"As a blogger, you need to have what your readers want."
— Trixy
Trixy raised an eyebrow. "Veronica wants us all inside? I don’t think we need three of me running around. Hey Glacier."
The clone swiftly returned. ”Did you call, beautiful?”
"Yea, we forgot to do something." Trixy held out five leaves. "Before you run off, let me get you squared away."
An under appreciated application of wood magic was knowing the state of a plant that you touched. Trixy was unable to communicate with her clones, and if something happened to one of them, she’d have no way of knowing they had been defeated. But she could triangulate the location of a few leaves placed on Glacier’s body. Should her body fade to dust, the leaves would scatter and let Trixy know that something was wrong. After tucking a leaf into her gloves, socks, and one in her pants pocket, the clone departed to remain outside.
"I wonder if there’s any food." Trixy giggled as she entered the rave, Holding Samantha’s arm the whole while.
"There are so many cuties in here!" Trixy’s eyes scanned the landscape of flesh. She felt like an adventurer who had just stumbled into a dragon’s hoard. "It looks a little crowded, but that’s okay." Trixy walked past the bar, but made no attempt to look at it. It sounded like a girl was having an emotional breakdown. "This might be our first rave, but I’ve made plenty of friends online. I’m sure we can talk to just about anyone. That’s what Tetrad told me." Trixy scanned the party for potential targets. Foir her blog that is. People who were reasonably attractive and had a distinct appearance. Bonus points if they didn’t look too threatening and were wearing something "fetishy." Like glasses, or socks, or glasses and socks.
"Do you see that girl in the blue dress? With the glasses and stockings?" Trixy only waited a moment for Samantha to respond. "She’s got some friends with her too, we’re going in!" She practically dragged Samantha along, weaving between ravers like a total pro. "Gotta get some footage for the blog too!" Her phone fazed into her hand. With a single flick, she activated her camera and slid it behind one of her belts. A pocket would have been more ideal, but her stylish coat lacked such comforts. Eventually, Trixy and Samantha skidded to a stop in front of the trio.
"Hello girls! cute outfits." She adjusted her eye patch. "Are you looking for people to dance with? We could use some teachers. However! I don’t think it would take long to learn. We’re both martial artists." She stretched her foot over her head and leaned against Samantha. "Mmmmmm, just let me warm up first."
The first thing Mika did when she entered the rave was take a firm hold of Katarina ’s hand. “Don’t worry about dancing, you’ve got me here to show you the ropes.” Mika walked towards the part of the floor where everyone was dancing. It was a tight fit, and there wasn’t a lot of space. On one side an oni-girl and templar knight were grinding, and on the other flank was a dark magical girl. She was twerking and looked to be holding a bottle of spirits. But Mika ignored them all.
“Alright!” Mika had to practically shout to be heard over all the other voices, and especially the music. “Now just put your hands up like this!” She placed her hands beside her head. “And then you just kind of shift your hips side to side, and kinda flap your hands! Like you have doggy ears!” Mika proceeded to do the caramel dance.
Su was unable to assimilate into the rave as easily as Mika was. Even if her job required her to deal with a lot of people, but she got to know them one at a time. People came in, chatted a bit, then they slept for the night. They might call for room service or have a question, but would ultimately leave a few nights later. Or in more extreme cases, rented out apartments indefinitely. No one came in or out without Su knowing about it. Su knew everyone in the Golden Trove. Here she was surrounded by unfamiliar faces. And not all the faces she saw she cared to know.
In particular, Justine.
Su had never been happy with how their last encounter ended. She allowed Helga and Lily to talk her down, but she knew it was only a matter of time until Justine returned. People like that couldn’t change. If she acted out, it would be the only excuse Su would need to finish her. Justine wouldn’t hurt her family ever again, not like she hurt Amber. She found herself fantasizing about their fated encounter, but dismissed her thoughts with a shake of her head. Regardless of what Su thought, it wouldn’t help anyone to start a fight. Moreover, she wasn’t going to let Justine ruin her night. She needed to focus on something else. Su got to do fun things with Helga all the time, so it seemed silly to take to the dance floor with her. Perhaps there was another interesting character in here.
That was when Su’s eyes fell onto a robed woman. Oriental magical girls were nothing new in Penrose, but she had seen few shrine maidens. Moreover, she had that look on her face that Su was pretty sure she was wearing not long ago. Su approached slowly, unsure how you were suppose to talk to people in here. Raves were places where people hooked up, and Su didn’t want to lead anyone on. Though she was still fascinated with the oriental woman. Su leaned up against the back wall and examined her a bit longer. She finally Decided it wasn’t polite to stare.
“What are you drinking?” That was a horrible conversation starter. Su decided to try again. “Never mind, I like your outfit.” She wondered if it sounded like she was hitting on her. “But I’m not looking for anyone.” What the hell Su? She rubbed her eyes and folded her arms. “Sorry, I’m just a little nervous. Feels like something’s about to happen.” She looked the woman directly in the eyes. “Su Fang, I’ve been out of town for a while, but I run a hotel. The Golden Trove. How about you?” A nervous smile crossed her lips.

What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.[/indent]
