Europe

Along with its neighbor, Klayd, Otheon is one of the two nations on the island of Salva. This island was named so after the fact that it was raised during the Dawn of Quirks by a powerful geokinetic, Salvatore Del Cano, to serve as a refuge for displaced peoples throughout Western Europe and beyond as quirked warlords rose everywhere to sow chaos and discord.

Otheon is a melting pot of various Western European and North African peoples. However, it is believed that the greatest portion of its population originally came from Iberia, Great Britain, and the Maghreb, which were particularly devastated in the aptly named Quirk Wars. Otheon does not possess an official language, though English is the most widely spoken by the population, who are usually bilingual or trilingual. Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Arabic are also widely spoken.

Locations:

Kessel - The capital city of Otheon, founded along the banks of the river Kes. It is divided into the Overcity, the wealthy, cosmopolitan portion that any tourist is most familiar with; and the Undercity, a large area of slums where crime is commonplace and heroes rarely patrol.

New Liverpool - A coastal city and Otheon's busiest seaport. Well-known for its picturesque beaches.

Salanaga - A coastal town built on tall cliffs. Renowned as a romantic destination.

Crater Lake - A leftover from a great battle between Salvatore Del Cano and a quirked warlord who attempted to invade the island. A massive crater was formed during their battle, which was then quickly filled with water from the nearby tributary of the river Kes. Nowadays, the lake is a tourist destination.

The Great Divide: A deep canyon that forms a natural border between Otheon and Klayd. Passable only through a single pass, where the town of Karakoroum is built.

Dos Arriagas: A pair of mountains of completely equal height; created by Salvatore Del Cano when he raised the island.

Right after Eirei's scuffle with the Bigman of Crime, alias Kingpin,
alias Shibuya City Mayor, Mikazuki Keyaru, gathered his thralls at this auspicious night.

His thralls also involved some of the most important Scientists and Company-owners.

The unsullied political figure, dressed appropriately for the occasion stood above his men, aura oozing like an eagle with bird's eye view of sermon. Keyaru lamented the fact that the Ultra Nomu, Nemesis, died before fully adapting to its immortal vessel while giving sermon to the Eight Bullets. Gravity's defied at this very scene, to the Bullets, Keyaru appears to be upside down but to him, it's merely the effects of many Quirks, giving an otherworldly appeal.

A string of a shamisen, strummed, played by a woman dressed in a furisode, gold piercing eyes, fiery red hair with a Kitsune mask.

"Godfather is disappointed." She exclaimed nonchalantly in a calm manner.

In a blink of an eye, faster than the eye could anticipate, six of his men were punished by death, there was no blood but lifeless bodies on the floor, leaving only two alive, who at this moment were in silhouettes.

"I regret giving you lot, the bioengineered Nomu-inspired surgery. I was there testing them and yet neither of you were obedient to my will!" Keyaru raged in disappointment.

A middle-aged man with darkblue hair, dressed in a typical business attire rebutted Keyaru.

"Ultra Nomu at the expense of its sanity is nothing more than a failed artwork of a vampiric freakshow, what you need is another test subject."

"Dr. Norma, if it weren't for your son's and Lord Chin's son's meddling heroics, this project could've gotten better results, oh well, no point crying over spilled milk, how's the Ideo Trigger going at Yaocorp" Keyaru regained composure and demanded results regarding the new Trigger drug.

"Ideo Trigger is best tested with a finer test subject, O' Godfather, there will be no need to go back to formula, after all, I'm something of a Scientist myself. Yaocorp will be hosting a conference at Otheon, next week, I can assure you that it will exceed even Solivar Angstrom." Norma's memory flashed quick, a flash of green, indicating that he used Ideo Trigger on himself.

Keyaru in mere moments, bite Norma to his neck, granting him the powers of the Ultra Nomu, Nemesis that Eirei defeated earlier.

"Do not fail me, Goblin."

Furthermore, what was once the Top 100 or J-100 has deliberately changed due to a stricter rank evaluation as enforced by the Hero Commision Chairman, Takami Keigo, former #2 Hero, Hawks and the Hero Commision Secretary, Todoroki Momo, (neè Yaoyorozu), formerly Creati.

The J100 is now the J20.

Unlike High Schools, College Students has its year sorts intermingle with each other regardless of year differences because they're already adults.

As of right now, Class 1B is with the Second Years, particularly Himura Rin, Yaoyorozu Matsuru, Tokoyami Izanagi, Akizuki Reiji and Akai Jace.

The dramatically outpoken athlete and overachieving member of Freshmen Block 1B, Takari Kyoya is the sworn and sole rival of Mawatari Jun. Despite his obsession with her, Kyoya values his blockmates and together strive for greatness, setting all petty grievances aside. Kyoya is the 2nd choice for 1B's Male Homeroom Rep due to his high speech charisma and battle IQ, only exceeded by the unbiased humble guy, Yuzuki Akira. Together with Mawatari Jun, who ranks 1st and Kazuma Yui, who ranks 3rd, the three of them are known as 1B's Trinity Suns.

Kyoya went to school with Himura Amaya in Shiketsu High and interned on multi hero agencies, namely Endeavor's, Hawks, and Monoma's.

During Act 1's introduction arc, it's revealed that Kyoya didn't participate due to his internship with Ironman, spoiler for Act 2. Kyoya fought alongside everyone against the horde of High End Nomu.

An empath quirk that involuntarily exposes Kyoya to feel people's emotions and copy their Quirks like a spongey-cat. Strong impression of people allows Kyoya to resonate on their emotional echo & Quirk skill level for that caught-up moment of "first times". Kyoya then gets to recall the sensation to use the associated Quirk of a person as long as they left him a strong impression. He can mix-match Quirks to attain varying effects, compatible Quirks that resonated with each other, becomes a new Quirk.

8-years flew since the battle between Hero Society against The League of Villains, amidst the Herobiz, Quirkless Heros grew to be commonplace due to the surge of Antiquirk Technologies and support items, those with Quirks became weary of the changing tides.

Under the belief that the Quirkless will be undermining their statuses as the ones on the top of the food chain. The Quirkless are now equal to the Quirkful, capable of hustling with the same opportunities and benefits, no longer swept under thou rugs. It's said that with great power comes with great responsibility, but people are just too divided by their beliefs. Some side with the Quirkful Status Quo, others are for Quirkless equality, then there's mutant minorities and some just wanted to see the world burn.

Humarise, an antiquirk organization has been working on the shadows, instilling a quirkphobic agenda to the masses. While the world is too indulged in their foolish things, Humarise has been on the move, dismantling societies as we know it and feeding on the Quirklesses beliefs. Under the pretense and advocacy that all men are equal, Quirkless or Quirkful.

If not for the purehearted, at these gray skies covering the balance between good and evil, there'd be no cause to strive for the meaning of true heroism.

This is a continuation of Just Another Hero from Act 1, it was a fun investment and everyone grew together, especially, I grew to find out the type of GM I am.

The reason why I'm making a new thread is the sales appeal and realization that Players flock to cleaner beginnings and I'm grateful that we finished the first arc.

The biggest difference is that All Might & All For One have died during their epic ordeal before the canonical storyline. This gives us the opportunity of exploring the facets of the never before seen aspects of MHAverse with dark undertones amidst the fun adventure-based roleplay it's going for. I'm also not a fan of bequeathing Quirks.

Herowork

- Provisional Hero License, Heroes under age 17, typically in High School, operates under temporary heroics and supervised by a Pro Hero.

- Providential Hero License, Heroes from age 17-21, typically College Students are considered seasonal/contractual Heroes, the license itself functions as ID & ATM Payroll since College Students are part-timers/OTJ of a Hero Agency.

- Professional Hero License, fully realized Heroes, this license is a card with holographic interface, functioning as ID, ATM, Passport & Work Authorizations including star rankings, befitting a Pro Hero.
° 1 Star - The Pro Hero is limited to work on their City's streets.

° 2 Star - The Pro Hero may travel from city to city within a Prefecture.

° 3 Star - The Pro Hero may visit their country's provinces, in this case for Japan, Prefecture Basis.

° 4 Star - The Pro Hero serves as an Emissary to their Nation, they are given authority to travel abroad & work with other countries.

° 5 Star - The Pro Hero deals with severe cases like Death Row Criminals, Dark Web Criminals, etc, this is the requirement to be part of the Hero Rankings.

° 6 Star - The Pro Hero has the right of warrant to apprehend perceived, corrupted officials/fellow Heroes.

Villainwork

The League of Villains this time is a society for villains, this includes villainous empires and the like. The League's top three Dynasties are the Yakuza, Humarise & Detnerat.

With All For One dead, he had no successor to snare.

Instead, we will have our own set of Antagonists, competing for the Demon Lord, title.

Eirei College

Eirei College is the #1 Heroic School in all of Japan under the tertiary education, this means that the likes of UA and Shiketsu are merely on the secondary education level for High Schoolers and your characters are College Students.

The school is founded by Endeavor, 11 years ago.

Q-Virus

First Generation Quirkfuls accidentally gained abilities through radioactive sources that altered their DNA such as experiments that virally gone wrong such as the mice that spread a plague that's called the Q-Virus, 150 years from our timeline.

In America, this became known as the Witch Hunts & the rise of the Creature Rejection Clan in Japan.

Racism against the Quirkful became a reality and soon, against the Quirkless.

30-years after the Dawn of Quirks, offsprings of people're born with Quirks, they'd mingle and passed on their genes, which spearheaded the later Generations through hereditary means,
this became the rise of classism of Quirks, historically known as The Great Quirkism, where society supported sinister ideologies of Shigaraki Hisashi aka All For One, who reigned in the shadows under the criminal underworld of Japan.

In the same manner, the origin of Heroes is found in the United States of America. Quirks were exposed to the world due to the glowing baby found in China. In Japan, Yotsubashi Chikara aka Destro preached the Quirk Liberation philosophy, where everyone can use their Quirks freely. His actions brought about a revolution and destroyed the Japanese Royal Family, granting All For One, puppetry over the Japanese Government, donning it as the Republic of Japan.

Besides All For One & Destro, Oji Harima, The Peerless Thief was also considered a Dark Lord/Villain King, making them the Forefathers of the League of Villains.

Quirk Singularity

30-Years has past once more, Third Generation Quirkfuls exhibited an evolved Q-Gene known as the Quirk Factor, a chromosome that made Quirks no longer curable. Unlike its predecessors, Third Generation Quirkfuls cannot have their Quirks reverse-engineered, decoded aka regress back to normal. Dr. Ujiko Daruma, a renowned scientist of this era, theorized about the evolution of Quirks and how the human race will embrace the new normal.

He coined the term, The Quirk Doomsday Singularity Theory. Unfortunately, many believed he's nothing more than a Mad Scientist, a Professor who lived by pipe dreams. Ujiko kept his Quirk under the wraps as the first true immortal human to exist, he will never die even if his Quirk is dampen.

The creation of the Nomu was the fruits of speed running the Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory.

Quirk Marriage

Herobiz reached Japan, the founders of the Hero World in Japan were the Todoroki, Yaoyorozu & Ida clans, which All For One intended to be his puppets but the rapid growth of the Founding Hero Dynastic Clans outgrew the influence of All For One.

Quirk Marriages became rampant during the first decade & banned for its inhumane practices.

Within these 30 years, there's a small crack in All For One's Villain Empire, it was the rise of Shimura Nana, who later taught All Might.

Fourth Generation Quirkfuls exhibited superhuman bodies that their predecessors didn't have at all, Quirks became more suited to the body yet at the same time, Quirks would often tear the body apart, leading to a failure of adaptation.

Quirktastic Era

Fifth Generation Quirkfuls lived the time of their lives, 80% of the World are Quirkfuls, this was the golden age & the rise of All Might, who secretly took down the Demon Lord, All For One.

Fifth Generation Quirkfuls are said to have a body, suitable for two Quirks, in rare cases, multiple.

This is the divergent timeline from the MHA Canon, where the RP interpretation of the MHA Story timeline began.

Quirktabulous Era

150 years has already past, Sixth Generation Quirkfuls are yet to be discovered.

Quirks will be taking after the early half of Canon in a Metahuman approach. Again, I'm just not a fan of the supernatural aspect of Quirks along with its power bequeathing plot devices, I experienced it the hard way so I don't want you to end up like me. You must train your Quirk to exceed its limits and become the best version of yourself.

Quirkless
I encourage the creation of Quirkless Characters however I am also strongly discouraging ourselves to make Batman the staple of representation. We want the approach to be realistic as possible, no one here, not even me and my GMs agree on having a Batmanesque character with absurd prep time skill and so on. Use your common sense and understand what fits in the verse.

Quirkful
The Quirkful are the people that're born with Quirks.
Quirk Types
We will be having a more detailed versions of Quirks because the Canon ones were lackluster.

Accumulation are Quirks that require an equivalent exchange current stimulus to work. Examples are Creati's calorie burning to use her Quirk & Dynamite needing to sweat to make explosions or simply stockpiling fat like Fatgum.

Contractor are Quirks that are fueled by an emotional stimulus to function. Examples include Dabi needing to be emotional to summon Blue Flames or Redestro becoming more stress to become bigger.

Emulation are Quirks that require complex scientific understanding, these are the likes of Overhaul, Half Cold, Half Hot & any Quirk that copies other Quirks, often are conceptual abilities.

Metamorphosis, no, not that. These are Quirks that give Secondary Mutations like Tsuyu, Kirishima, Tetsutetsu.

Nullification are Quirks that negates other Quirks like Eraserhead.

Psychokinesis are Quirks that require mental discipline to levitate objects or people or simply read minds or even energy blasts like Nejire Hado.

Transporter are Quirks that are mobility based like superspeed, etc. so you got like Warp Gate.

Breaks

Taking Breaks
It is inevitable people will need to or want to take a break from this RP and that is ok. Just drop me a message and we will discuss what to do. In no way, shape, or form will I tell you that you cannot take a break. Bear that in mind. You will be allowed a break, however if the timing is too sudden it may affect the flow of play.

Hiatus
Sometimes the RP may go on hiatus. This is usually a timed period and all will be informed. Of course while everyone returning once it is over would be ideal, it cannot be guaranteed.

Character

For Players
Generally I limit players to just one main character. However, with each arc a player plays through, they may make another character up to a maximum of 3. The player must be aware that keeping track of their characters is their responsibility. This applies for the character's activities too for their activity report. For more information on that, check posting.

For NPCs
Submitting new NPCs has no limit, and only NPCs that players desire to have a story effect or role will be checked by me for approval. Any other NPC that is intended to be flavor or accompaniment to the player's own story does not need any major approval or even the full sheet.

Special NPC Slots
Occasionally I will open a special specific type of slot for an NPC, as I need an NPC to fill a certain role. If no one makes an NPC to fill it, I will of course have to do the work myself, but usually these are unusual NPCs, or more major NPCs. Usually spots like this will open when the RP has need for a cast of enemies for the players to fight.

Work Ethic

Feedback
I am always open to feedback and requests. Do keep in mind that while I do have a vision for where I want the RP going, I am open to fitting in developments for the sake of your characters too. After all as the player, you are the one I am running this RP for. Naturally I will not accept anything that may undermine or hurt another player.

Behavior
I do not accept snark or back talk. I am able to recognize condescending language too, so don't think about sneaking that in either. Be direct, be up front, because I will be too. I will always try my best to have my own suggestions too should I ever reject any idea as alternatives, and while you don't have to take those suggestions, do not be unreasonable.

Common Sense
Common Sense superses all rules.

Quirky Power Pathway
Repressed means you're required to have a detailed backstory as to why your Quirk is nerfed and holding you back, you got potential to Reawaken it, this is a pivotal plot point.

Reawakened only applies for Repressed Individuals, this means that your Quirk is restored to its true function, much more refined than an Awakened Quirk.

Revolution means your Quirk has reached the Singularity Point, and you'll exhibit secondary mutations and even awaken another Quirk, this is for those who chose Repressed.

Or

Awakened means your Quirk Activation when you're young, you don't need an edgy backstory.

Ascended only applies for Awakened Individuals, you improved your Quirk and overcame limitations.

Evolved means that you reached the Singularity Point.

Differences between Repressed and Awakened Pathways.
° Repressed Individuals starts out with weaker versions of their Quirk.
° Awakened Individuals starts with Quirks that are already strong or stable.
° Their endgame stages are different, Revolution values raw power and refinement at the cost of their humanity while Evolved means absolute control over their Quirk while keeping their humanity.

Posting
When it comes to posting, please keep things clear. Include the location, and @ the relevant players. A lot of general etiquette. If possible, color your dialogue too. In terms of length, I expect the usual for Casual section, but anything too short I may have to talk to you. Anything too long, I will probably also talk to you, though only if you have been excessive for no reason.

Tenurity
Veteran Members that sticks with RP for spanning new thread per arc, will be having easier character sheets with less things to include, they just need to minl the old threads, while new members are obliged to follow the Welcoming Membership Sheet.

Combat
Combat in an RP is always a difficult subject, as it is difficult to figure out who won or who was successful, or even how to make a fight difficult where defeat was organic. The approach for this RP is to setup a list of advantages and disadvantages faced by you the player, and it essentially is a checklist of what needs to be done to sufficiently overcome a challenge.

Combat between Players will be discussed between both players. They decide how they want to do it. The only rule here is to not take too long and swiftly conclude. In such a case, a bout of 3 posts each back and forth is my recommendation. Long fights will be collabs.

Magaho, a cityboy in Shibuya, sophomore college level student in Eirei, is the Hero that's celebrated as Japan's No.1.

A controversial figure for the most part, due to his vigilantism escapades, Magaho mean no harm and meant well. He'd often find himself going beyond to save those he can while fully aware that not all can be saved, a price he's willing to pay wholly unto his conscience. Magaho stays true to Eirei's secret identity policy, never-ever revealing himself to anyone at all.

As Spiderman, Magaho's prone to quipping and pissing the crap out of his opponents.
