Sophie smiled at Caelan's statement. It was adorable how excited he was and quite contagious. She found herself excited too. She watched with surprise as he drank his entire cocktail in one gulp. She wondered how he was able to drink all that alcohol so fast. Didn't it taste bitter? She had never tried to do so nor even gotten intoxicated before, so she supposed she wouldn't be able to know without trying. She hoped she wouldn't get drunk and embarrass herself. Well. When in Rome. Or should I say.. When in Avalia? She took a drink off the tray, "Thank you so much!" She took a deep breath and sipped it from the straw. Her eyes lit up in delight. It didn't taste bad at all. It tasted like a wonderful tropical smoothie. Her eyes shut with pleasure as she sipped away at it like a soda. Soooo good!

"Listen here! Just because!" Alette's voice was just barely audible through the air. Sophie opened her eyes to watch her hiccup and interrupt herself. "Just because you are PRETTY and your voice is all pretty! Doesn't mean! I am gonna try to understand your big, funny words!" Alette fluttered from her hair and about the area until she almost crashlanded onto a nearby plant. She curled up on a leaf, possibly too intoxicated to do much else. Sophie thought this was for the best.

Meanwhile, though Slick and Leaf also seemed eager to enjoy the drinks, they did not seem interested in going for a swim, which was unfortunate. Sophie really wanted to get to know them better. Slick spoke like how she would expect a cowboy to sound and then just to behold Leaf, a bipedal, talking Cheetah, was an entirely indescribable experience. They both were so cool! Though she wanted to hang out with them, she felt bad that Caelan wanted to swim and no one else seemed to be volunteering to join him. He had been so kind to her she couldn't possibly leave him on his own. Besides, if this was the finest water in Avalia, she had to swim in it."Slick and Leaf right? I'm happy to hang out with you guys today! I am going to go for a swim and then come back after. Please take good care of each other and Aurora." Sophie found the words tumbling out of her mouth much more than usual. As the man with the drinks was walking away, Sophie quickly reached for another one before he left. They were just too good to pass up!

The man gave her a concerned look and tried to warn her that she was on the smaller side and thus should exercise some caution, but she did not hear him over the sound of the musicians starting to play their song louder. She joined Caelan at the swimsuit stall, "Hi! Ooh!" She looked down at the swimsuits and picked up a pretty one that was white and had a small skirt. She purchased it without hesitation and looked at Caelan, "Hope you don't mind I decided to join you! Where do we put these on?" She sipped on her drink as she looked around for a changing stall then excitedly pointed to one once she had located it, "Over yonder!"

Yuka's brows lifted with curiosity. Xavier was being a lot more compliant than she had thought he would be. She supposed when one was in an unfamiliar realm, there was not much choice. She got a glimpse of his cute smile even under his hood and giggled to herself. Oh I love men! To her delight, the men around her kept replying with agreeance to her proposal. Koldar was ready to go and was calling the bartender down to bring them shots and Aiko seemed ready to go too. She met his eyes as he wiped her hand for her, meeting his gaze with a flirtatious one. "What a sweetheart my Aiko is. I could just kiss you."

She caught a shot glass in her hand and raised it, "To Roshmi and to us! Well said Koldar!" She hung her head back and downed it, wondering if they all were only going to have one shot. She normally helped herself to at least six, especially when times called for celebration. "Oh gosh. This is a bonding moment isn't it? The four of us ought to have an exciting name for our party of misfits! What should we call it? Hmm..." Just as she was bringing everything into a tangent as always, she was caught off guard by Orias's questioning.

"My plan... Oh yes." She suddenly reached in between her breasts and pulled out a pamphlet casually. She opened it and showed it to three. She pointed with her nail, "Lookie here. An emergency amora station to the Avian Kingdom was set up by, you guessed it, the Avians, outside of Roshmi in response to all this war stuff. These papers are like all over the place! I can kinda tell from the map on here where it is so I'll just lead us there."

And with that, Yuka led them outside the tavern and towards the location noted on the pamphlet. After some time, they arrived at a clearing just outside the walls of Roshmi where a makeshift landing area had been created. An amora was docked and boarding already by the time they arrived. The amora waiting there was smaller than the usual but seemed to be able to fit twenty at a time. Yuka gestured for them to follow her on as she sat down on a long wooden bench on the ship. She glanced at Xavier, already feeling amusement as she awaited his reaction. Were there amoras on Earth? She wondered if how strange this all was to him. Once the amora took flight, the group found themselves stepping off into the beautiful Avian City.

"Sooo I don't think that baby Amora flies long distance so we'll have to find the landing dock up here that has the big one... Might also end up costing us some amas to ride this next one." Yuka told them. Winged demihumans of all sorts were stopping to glance their way with curiosity. Yuka playfully posed for them as she gave her comrades a moment to catch their breath.

Maeryn met the eyes of the red being as he spoke. He had heard rumors of the Sevens Sins being summoned but he had not been certain it would be followed through on. This news was bittersweet as power of that magnitude could aid in vanquishing the humans, but could also be dangerous if aimed towards their people. Could they trust their beings? There wasn't much history for reference, but with a threat like this, at least in Maeryn's opinion, this risk was potentially worth it. His eyes slid to the dark elf now as she spoke and exhaled gently before replying. His expression remained unchanged. "You are correct. I am not a soldier. I am simply a hunter who wishes to hunt before he is hunted."

He began to carefully decide on his next sentence, only to be interrupted by the sound of his daughter. He watched in apprehension as she went to pet the demon. Maeryn wished she'd listen to him for once, but knew the sweet girl was innocent and naive. It could not be helped. He gave Alaia a stern look, warning her with his gaze to halt her current activity. "My apologies. Fairies are of the affectionate sort. She will not touch you again."

Hoping to get something out of this before things potentially escalated up the wrong path, Maeryn quickly continued speaking, "I am here to gather information regarding the location of humans. If you have information that could perhaps aid in my task or a similar objective, I would be grateful to hear what you are willing to share."

Helio had been sprawled out in the crow's nest, his legs hanging through the gaps of the fencing."Noo behave, girls. Not the knees..."He muttered in his sleep, chuckling quietly. It was not long before his eyes suddenly burst open. In a haze of confusion, he quickly jumped to his feet as the sound of random voices filled the air. "She's just a friend I swear!" He exclaimed, looking around wildly. The sight of the sky before him made him do a double-take. The sound of the water gently cradling the ship reached his ears and threw him for a loop. It took him a moment to register recent events and process where he was as his gaze lowered toward the deck of the ship below him.

"Oh... Everyone's up already?" He rubbed his head as fatigue set in. His back ached and he felt even dizzier than his usual hangovers as the ship rocked on the sea. His lips parted and his brows furrowed as he watched Helmet Head launch an bolt from his crossbow. His gaze followed the bolt as it reached the other ship. He titled his head at this new information. "Another ship... Wait. Another ship!? Shit!" Helio could assess that there were definitely way more people on the other guy's ship. He knew better than to hesitate during a battle where they were outmatched. The timing was awfully unfortunate. He had been up late drinking and flirting way too much with the women on the ship. He had gotten five hours of sleep at best.

He shook his head in annoyance, then began to form dark energy in one hand. It was a black, dense mass with dark clouding that surrounded it, which seemed to coat his forearm as the ball was created. His wings flapped as he took flight and began to descend quickly. He launched a decently sized orb of darkness towards the deck of the other ship, "It's not even fucking noon!" He yelled with exasperation and anger at them.

Helio was known to be quite irritable when he was hungover and low on sleep.

Nabarra was apparently gone, which Yuka found herself indifferent to. Though she had been fun to rile up and possibly more fun if drugged, Yuka found her personality to be a possible clash with the upbeat environment she preferred. She shrugged it off with ease and focused on her cute male companions that she had collected. Koldar answered her question with two suggestions. Yuka considered his's words for a moment, thoughtfully tapping her chin with her nail. "Mmm yeah you got a point there. Ironhold..." She held up her hands and opened them, laying out her palms like a scale, lifting her left for the first option, then slowly lowering it and raising her right palm, "Orrrr River Kingdom."

As Aiko voiced his opinion, Yuka raised her hand representing Ironhold up,
"Cute little men with big, not-so-cute, yet powerful weaponry... Or gorgeous fairies with mysterious alcohol and enchanting magic?"

Yuka smiled wide and lifted both her hands into the air, "Both!" She exclaimed in agreement with Aiko and hopped off the bar. She grabbed the arm of a random man sitting at the bar without looking over at him, "Ey you. Amoras are all piled in with dark elves or what?"

"Uhhh.. Yes, ma'am. I heard they're occupied with dark elves being flown in. But, I think they're not using the amora site up in the Avian Kingdom if you could manage to get up there."

Yuka let go of his arm and shook her hand as if she had just touched something dirty. "Sure can." She glanced at her three companions, "Well. I know a way up if you three are ready to leave. Any questions or objections?"

After breakfast, Rosaria, Nuallán, and Jomari went off with the fluffy-tailed princess and her big guy to go find orcs. Sophie had nearly groaned at the idea of going traveling again but she had been happy to hear that she and Caelan were to stay with the quiet pretty elf girl. The cowboy and cat man had apparently been friends with the other princess and were going to hang around them as well. Though, she was fearful of what oddities Alette had told them.

Rosaria had introduced their group to an outdoor market area before she had left, where many seemed to be celebrating a small summer harvest festival. Ribbons were strewn from one window to another. There were stalls all decorated with gold and green with bountiful fruits and vegetables for sale. In the plaza, there were small little games that children were engaging in as well as games for adults to gamble their amas. Drinks were being handed out on platters and music was being played on strange instruments. A crowd was starting to form, but because it was still early, it was nothing too bad.

Sophie turned to those who accompanied her, wondering what they wanted to do. She felt rising excitement with the atmosphere around her. It reminded her of a renaissance festival, except this was their normal day-to-day life. She nearly gasped as noticed children splashing in the water right in the town. There was a stone large pool surrounded by grass and palm trees nearby with a small waterfall running into it. She wished she had a bathing suit so she could go swimming or at the least maybe she could paint the beautiful sight if she had somewhere to sit.

Alette’s voice in her ear suddenly startled her from her thoughts. ”Sophie! You have to drink this!” The pixie hiccuped before she could continue, ”The drinks are sooo colorful! I brought him here so you can-” Sophie watched as a bubble came out of Alette’s mouth on the second hiccup and she burst into giggling. She then noticed the man with the drink tray was stretching it out to their group. ” Would anyone like to try the Myriamor Mix? Made with the freshest fruit from the harvest. Do be advised as the liquor is quite strong.” As the man was offering them, the drunk pixie clumsily flew over to Aurora to pick up a strand of her hair and attempted to try to swing on it like a vine as she giggled chaotically.

Maeryn couldn’t help but smile back at his sweet adopted daughter. ”Your positivity is ever so comforting, Alaia. Just wait until you see what else Avalia has to offer.” He patted her shoulder. However, he was not so sure about his second statement. He was more so hoping he’d find perhaps a lead here as news always did travel fast to the orcs, but he knew the humans would have been kept very lowkey. He had a feeling it would take quite some time to finally get a good lead going, but he was a patient man. Maeryn had lived centuries, what was a few days to him?

”I have a source or two we can check in with, but most likely we will need to be patient. Let us grab food and rest before we start moving south. Come.” He moved forward into the Orc market area, the smells of various meats reaching his nose immediately. Upon scoping the area, he stiffened. Many of the orcs’ heads were all turned in one direction and Maeryn had quickly followed their gaze to the strange creatures. His hand moved to grip his bow as he took in the situation visually. His hand slid back as he saw the dark elf accompanying them and realized what exactly they were. He had heard creatures of such might be summoned, but he hadn't expected his own surprise at the sight of them. He had seen many beasts but nothing quite like the ones in front of him.

He glanced at Alaia after a thoughtful pause, ” Careful, little one, those are not animals nor beings that one should toy with. It seems as if demons have made their way from the abyss and may very well be allied with us. I am curious to question the elf hosting their party, but if you are afraid, I will not bring you with me.”

Maeryn was apprehensive of bringing his daughter so close to such unpredictable beings, but he recognized she was of age to make her own decisions, so he simply moved forward and allowed her to make her mind up for herself. He came to a stop near the stall and angled his body toward the woman. ” I could not help but have my interest piqued by your choice of company. So Basilian and Amarantha have gone forward with summoning demons?” This would be pleasing news to find out as many demons had unique abilities that could either usurp easily a human’s or perhaps be aided in locating them. Perhaps the Twin-Headed dragon might be using both their heads finally.

Yuka smiled at Koldar's question and leaned in to whisper in his ear, "Why? You want something from the black market?"She tilted her head thoughtfully at his next sentence then told him gleefully. Koldar and Xavier would probably get along well. They were both so serious and always went straight to business. The question was now, did she tell Koldar what Xavier was? Perhaps it was better just to hint and make sure she could trust these fellows here to play the game the way she wanted to. "Well, of course, duh! He's on our side! ...But let's not get it twisted here. We aren't going to be able to defeat all those dark elves today. I may have riled up some of the crowd, but we will need more not to be easy pickings. I may or may not have something key to our success here right now, but I don't think we should remain in Roshmi with it for the meantime." She side-eyed Xavier, winking at him casually.

She spun on her heels at the sound of a familiar voice and smiled wide. "Aiko!" Yuka ran up and went to give him a hug, then returned his space and spoke in a low voice. "Oohh hehe you know I am the reward."She ran her hand down his arm playfully,"But don't worry. You're very alluring and there's always another night." Yuka could remember Aiko's offer for a romp, but truth be told, she had not been quite sure what to make of Aiko. She was used to being the unpredictable one, yet she had never accomplished a feat like switching genders. Was that even something demi-humans could normally do? There was no way that had just been makeup and bra stuffing.

Yuka let her gaze go between the three of them as she said to everyone, "Well. We better go wake up Nabby girl and make a move before Roshmi gets filled with annoying rioters and grumpy dark elves. Where do you guys think we should go? Is there anywhere else with sexy nightclubs like the ones in Roshmi? Because I'd sure miss those! Hahaha!"

” It’s a pleasure to meet you, Arn Thorson.”Annya told him pleasantly and smiled. She took the letter in her hands once he had presented to her, surprised to find Arn meeting her gaze. He had come off a little reserved initially. Maybe this was very important to him. She took her time to look it over as she unfolded the paper and began to read it. Her brows lifted slowly. This was not just any dwarf, but a prince. She figured he had not wanted others to know, hence why he had handed it to her in written format. It was a formal decree and was undoubtedly real. Keeping him safe would henceforth become one of her priorities. She folded it up neatly and handed it back to him. ”Hungry for some breakfast? I think I could start eating my plate any minute now!”

Her gaze was stolen by approaching figures in the corner of her eye. Raven had brought two friends back. She was so relieved she was alright. She had so much she wanted to speak with her about, but she knew it was best they acted normal and eased Raven back into their group first. She just hoped the girl had good taste in friends. At least they did not seem to be dark elves. Annya expressed her genuine relief to the human girl, ”Raven! I am happy to see you’re okay. I was so worried.”

However, the male was quick to speak and seemed to know all their names already, even Arn, then claimed to be seeking her out. This was the second person to seek her out and somehow know her location. How long until someone undesirable found them?

Annya let him finish before smiling up at him from her seat. “The pleasure is all mine, Kaleb. I’m so glad you’re all in with me! Come take a seat and please enjoy some breakfast with us, all of you...“ It felt as if questions were flinging themselves at the wall of willpower she had put up in her mind. Luckily, all her years had taught her some semblance of self-control. If these were all genuine allies, maybe it was best not to question a good thing. They could certainly use the backup afterall.

Another voice rang into the air and Annya glanced at the female speaker. Yet another random who somehow found her way to her. She was with a male and they were clearly both winter fairies. Very long way from home.” Annya nevertheless stood up and curtsied back to Rue, ”Honor’s all mine, darling!”She told her with a grin and glanced at the male fairy as he introduced himself as Bowyn. ”Thank you Bowyn, both of you, for joining the cause and wow coming all this way! I have faith we can reach a good outcome at the end of all this.”

An hour would pass as breakfast was ordered and eaten. At the end of it, Annya stood up and offered an idea: since there were so many of them present, whoever wanted to go enjoy Slime Day could go for some hands-on training while the rest of them enjoyed the nice weather on the beach.
