Time: Morning
Location: Forest near Guarav Village
Interactions: Cyrus @Helo, Ophelia @princess, Dante @FunnyGuy Darius @Samreaper Menzai

Viola's nervousness was clear on her expression as she heard Cypress' words. Knowing Ophelia could be in danger was incredibly worrying, but Viola had no choice but to trust both in Ophelia's plan and her brother Cyrus. Still, it didn't make much to make her less nervous about the situation.

Despite the tense situation and how nervous Viola was, it was still impossible to ignore the impossible feats the two elves were performing. Starting with riding on top of huge rocks before throwing them at the Roc and only getting even more absurd from then on: Building domes of rock to protect themselves from the Roc and even making a cloud of dust to blind the Roc's sight. Regardless of how strange the two elves were, Viola didn't really have much time to worry neither about them or the strange Demi-human at the moment. The fact that they seemed to be Ophelia's allies also let Viola focus her attention on the thing that was clearly their enemy, before she started worrying about the strange elves and the demi-human who were nearby.

The two elves' warning echoed through the forest as the dust cloud rose above them, warning for them to stay under the dust in order to not let the Roc see them. Using that brief moment of distraction, Cyrus' words drew Viola's attention, as he asked if her plant was still hungry.

"The Roc will break free the moment it starts feeling the vines gripping him. I need it to be distracted, even if only for a single second, to bind it down with the rose's vines..." Viola replied, knowing what Cyrus was asking her to do.

Unfortunately, the dust was only able to delay the Roc for a brief moment. After it became aware it wouldn't be able to hunt from the air with the dust, the Roc immediately began beating it's wings, preparing to land and dispersing the dust. The very moment the dust cloud was blown away, Viola immediately started frantically looking for Ophelia.

There was no time for Viola to do anything but to feel her heart tightening with desperation as her eyes finally found Ophelia, with the Roc already diving towards her, ready to attack. Realistically, there was nothing Viola could do in such a short time and she knew that. Neither her not her vines would be able to close the distance quickly enough. Fortunately, the demi-human from before somehow was able to get to Phia quickly enough. Moving fast enough to turn himself into nothing but a white blur, the demi-human pushed Ophelia away in the last moment, taking her place as the Roc closed it's beak on the Demi-human's arm, ripping it away from his body before flinging the unconscious demi-human aside.

Despite the terrible noises of bones breaking and flesh being ripped, Viola couldn't feel anything but relief, even though one of Ophelia's allies was gravely wounded, even if he had his arm ripped from his body, the fact that Ophelia wasn't wounded was all Viola cared about.

But saving Phia wasn't all that the demi-human did. By jumping in front of the Roc, he also gave both Cyrus and Viola herself the perfect opportunity to deal with the Roc. With Cyrus using his magic to send every single big of plant and wood towards the Roc, Viola did the same.

The Blood Rose's vines tightened around Viola's body, their thorns piercing her skin and getting soaking in blood, contrasting with her beautiful, immaculately white skin. The moment the Blood Rose tasted Viola's blood, they shot downwards into the ground, burying themselves into the ground as they moved towards the Roc.

It only took a single second until countless vines shot upwards directly from below the Roc, quickly aiming to get a hold of the creature, focusing to first hold it down into the ground before slowly suffocating it, draining it's blood.

Rue relaxed when Bowyn wrapped his arms around her shoulders. She melted into his body and rested her head against his shoulder. ”She seems young,” Rue offered her response to Bowyn’s commentary. ”Time will tell.” She did not want to immediately discount the elf because of strength in numbers, but her anxiety over Bardulf’s identity hindered her ability to empathize with the elf. Rue had sympathy, yes, because she was clearly young and naive, which Rue noted by her rambling.

She sighed in distress and glanced towards Bardulf. He seemed stuck in his own head and then randomly yelled out. In reaction, lightning struck the ground in front of him and crackled off his body. Rue jumped a foot and moved behind Bowyn out of fear. Starfire whinnied and moved away from the human and over to the two fairies, deciding to protect them in case of any further danger.

”Why did he do that?” Her Pegasus glanced at her with annoyance and ruffled her wings.

”It seems he was triggered by something.” Rue replied as she patted Starfire's neck and soothed her until she relaxed. Last thing they needed next was a pissed off Pegasus.

Rue inhaled and collected herself after a moment. Then, she moved over to Bardulf and embraced him into a tight hug. ”Please calm yourself. I understand it was an accident, however if you do this in front of the wrong Avalian, we’ll be in trouble; and your life is too important. We can talk about this once we find suitable shelter. I'm here for you.” Rue let go of him and squeezed his hand.

A quick glance toward the new elf told her it was noticed by her as well. She shot the new elf a cold and wicked glance, one that promised vengeance if she dared speak out about their human. She held onto her polearm loosely, but looked ready to strike if needed. ”You will not speak about this to anyone.” Rue told her firmly and twirled her weapon effortlessly in her hand. It was evident that while she was sweet and compassionate, Rue would not hesitate to protect the group, but especially Bowyn and Bardulf.

Mister Luum was quite ready to carefully study Zeva’s demeanor the moment she answered his question but the young elf was much too fast! He nearly gasped as she seized his hand in hers. In an instant, Mister Luum found himself not only captured but stunned by her straightforwardness. He found her mention of it ‘being nice to meet him’ combined with the vigorous shaking of his hand as a subtle threat. It was like she was telling him he was helpless in her grasp. And then, she thanked him for helping her? No, this cannot be. This is… This is madness. Mister Luum’s eyes widened as he was almost in shock by how well she was obscuring her intentions from the others. He was thinking of his next move the moment she released his hand but then she hit him with her slightly extensive backstory. All the way back to her birth?! No! Mister Luum kept up his smile, finding it difficult in the presence of… his foe. Luckily, she got to the point fairly quickly. He was not prepared to dissect an entire autobiography. Then she thanked him yet again, nearly causing him to sneer before hearing Brigitte say she was finished harvesting the owlbear that appeared to have swallowed a few useful items.

“Perfect!” Mister Luum replied with a smile to Brigitte while also giving her two soft pats on the head. When Zeva asked what they were doing there. Her first direct question. One of the traditional first direct questions a militant interrogator would ask. What is your mission? Mister Luum was quite ready to address her when-

"I SAID THAT'S ENOUGH!"

Bardulf’s shout caused the middle-aged elf to whip his head around to him, only to witness a bolt of lightning striking too close for comfort. Bardulf could have very well ended the journey of anyone if the summoned magic made contact with them. As bad as it looked, it did not end there. Bardulf lept forward at breakneck speed while electricity surged across his body. You’re kidding me, right? From the sky? He summoned a lightning bolt from the sky… AND DID NOT USE THAT AGAINST THE OWLBEAR?!?! Mister Luum calmly shut his eyes and took a breath to maintain his usual warm expression but his eyes caught Zeva’s, causing his smile to drop. Now a more neutral expression set upon his face as he absorbed the reality of what had to be done.

While Rue and Bardulf shared an intimate moment of apology and comfort, Mister Luum crossed his arms over his chest and looked toward the now overcast sky. He managed a soft chuckle. You weren’t kidding, Vaeril, you enigma of an elf. They really are quite powerful.

“You will not speak about this to anyone.” Rue’s voice called Mister Luum’s attention before he let out a burst of haughty laughter.

“Voiced threats useless. You should know better than anyone what’s required to keep a secret from being told by another.” Mister Lumm bounced his eyebrows up and down, being both subtle and direct with what his words meant. “But as a group, we are quite bad at killing, so I have a better idea! Zeva…” He returned his excited gaze to the young woman he found to be far too suspicious to simply let go. “How would you like to accompany me and my not-so-merry band of-” He took a moment to look at everyone to find the right word for their group. “Pals? Yes, band of pals! Forget Aegnor Stonel and help us save Avalia. It’s not like Aegnor has a school named after him because he was a prestigious student. Give reason to those new top-of-the-line daggers you’re itching to purchase. Forget about chasing the adventure. The greatest one yet has found you! So what do you say?” Mister Luum gave her a nod, selling Zeva promises of everything she yearned for.

Thank Solaris that her backstory wasn’t too long to commit to memory.

Darius by@FunnyGuy and Dante by @Alivefalling

Time: Morning
Location: Gaurav Village
Interactions: Menzai @samreaper, Cyrus @Helo, Ophelia @princess and Viola [13org]
Equipment: 2 shot glasses, 300 Amas total, Flowers from Phia, Dante’s cellphone, and Dante’s knife

As proud as Darius and Dante were of their dust cloud, it hadn’t lasted long as the roc batted it away as it descended down to the clearing. Fuck, it’s getting closer, and- Darius’ thought was cut short by the sight of the roc craning its head down to bite Phia with its massive beak.

“PHIAAAAA!”

Dante felt his eyes widen and his heart race, the feeling of something stuck in his throat almost forcing him to vomit as he watched in fear of Phia about to be swallowed by the Roc. Still, by some stroke of luck Menzai had jumped out of nowhere pushing Phia out of the way but what was once a feeling of hope turned into despair. Flashes from Dante’s past flooded his eyes from one of his deployments in the military. Dante’s childhood friend Devin Halloway was killed in combat by a buried artillery shell, thats blast tore his entire arm and shoulder off. Dante suddenly zoned back into reality only to hear the sound of bones crunching and watched in horror as Menzai’s arm was ripped off as it threw him to the ground like a ragdoll. Dante had never felt so powerless in his life. He could feel his body get hot and his heart feel as if it would burst from his chest as a panicked rage filled his mind, turning everything red.

The ground began to shake and rumble around them and increased intensely as Dante’s only goal was to have enough power. ‘MORE DANTE, GIVE IN TO THE MAGIC!’ His mind screamed. It was at this moment the world stopped for him. As Cyrus and Viola struck forth with their respective attacks on the roc, a massive sinkhole opened beneath the creature’s planted talons. The roc fell down into the hole that collapsed beneath it. The creature shrieked as the sudden barrage completely caught it off-guard. Dante continued his spiral unable to stop what was in motion as from the ground a massive hand rose and grasped the roc as if it were a toy, crushing it in its tight grip the sound of bones shattering echoed through the entire forest letting out a death screech as it fell limp. The shaking of the earth progressed getting worse every second, Dante would not last much longer in this state.

“Fuck, that was awesome!” Darius watched in awe as his brother finished off the roc with power he hadn’t imagined Dante capable of wielding. “Dante, how did you- Dante? Dante, you can end it now! We need to get to Menzai!” Darius raised an eyebrow as the trembling of the ground was continuing to worsen. “Are you listening?! Hey! HEY! You know what?” Darius shook his head in frustration and started running as fast as he could until both his and Dante’s connection to earth magic was severed due to them exceeding the radius they were bound to. “Off! Now let’s get to Menzai and Phia. They-”

Dante’s knees buckled almost instantly as the connection to magic was cut, he fell to the ground limp face first. His breath was quiet. He was stable though unconscious.

“Fuck.” Darius couldn’t help but utter.

As Rowan sat, he pushed his legs out in front of himself, nearly reaching the rushing water beyond. He leaned back and turned his face to the sky above them before turning back to the Orc.

"My sister and I have taken on a charge that requires training. She is like a pup free of their mother's watch for the first time. Wistful, overconfident and absolutely infuriating at times. We've been using this clearing to avoid the eyes and attention of others. If this place is yours then, we will find another so as not to bother you and your... fishing."

He watched the Orc for some time, considering his docile countenance along with his odd choice of hobby. Fishing would never have been in the skillset of any of the Orcs he had met in the past. On top of that, he was quite curious why the Orc was here alone, without a tribe. The brief memory of seeing the Orc in the city sprung back into his mind and he was unable to keep that question to himself.

"I saw you in the city. You surprised me by not ripping the head off that ignorant fool of a Dark Elf. Can't say I've known of one of yours that wasn't jumping at the chance for a fight."

As Rowan paused for the Orc's response, he mindlessly picked up a handful of stones and started skipping them across the river. Suddenly, he realized the possible rudeness of disturbing the fish that could be this Orc's next meal and returned the stones to the bank.

Kenia's smile wavered slightly as she faced the mixed reactions from the individuals gathered around. The warmth in her eyes faded for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure, refusing to let their coldness dampen her spirits. She glanced at Jun's retreating figure, concern etching her features. It was clear that he carried a heavy burden within him, and her heart went out to him.

As Malachi tossed a few amas to Zion and made his dismissive comment, Kenia's expression hardened ever so slightly. “Not everyone with good intentions is trying to sell something! You never know, sometimes the best things in life come to us without any expectations of profit!” She yelled after Malachi, irritation clear in her voice. She let out a sigh before turning her attention back to Zion, appreciating his efforts to extend a more welcoming gesture. His invitation to share breakfast touched her, and she saw in him a glimmer of kindness that resonated with her own values.

Holding up a hand in refusal of the amas, Kenia replied to Zion, "Thank you for your kind invitation. It's truly refreshing to encounter someone who understands the importance of fostering connections and building bridges. I would be delighted to join you all for breakfast. Keep the amas, though, as it’s now a matter of principle to not accept them."

With a sense of determination, she followed Zion's lead, making her way into the house. Upon entering, she noticed another light elven man. “Oh! There’s more of you. Good morning, I’m Kenia. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She said in greeting to the man with a grin.

Amisra let out a small giggle at what Arlen pointed out. ”You make a very valid point, I suppose we need to break ourselves of that habit. I guess we could call him the child.” She responded with a bit of a smirk.

Amisra's breath caught slightly as Arlen's hands settled on her shoulders, his touch warm and comforting. The tension that had been building within her began to dissipate under the gentle pressure of his fingers. She closed her eyes momentarily, savoring the brief respite from the weight of responsibility.

A soft smile curved her lips as she leaned into the soothing touch, grateful for Arlen's thoughtful gesture. "Thank you, Arlen," she murmured, her voice filled with appreciation. "Your timing is impeccable, as always." She turned her head slightly to glance at him, her eyes meeting his briefly before she straightened up, her shoulders feeling lighter and more relaxed.

With a renewed sense of energy, Amisra nodded toward the direction where Tanithil and Ismael had gone. "Let's find them and make sure everything is alright. And who knows, maybe we'll stumble upon something interesting in the process," she said, her tone filled with a mix of determination and curiosity.

Amisra stood up, her gaze locked with Arlen's for a moment longer before she followed her captain out of the bar, knowing Arlen wouldn’t be far behind. Once outside, Amisra let out a sigh as her eyes scanned the bustling streets, pondering Tanithil's likely whereabouts. She knew him well enough to predict that he would probably try to keep to the back alleyways despite them being potentially dangerous. It wouldn't be surprising if they found themselves in some sort of trouble. With a faint smile, she turned to Arlen and Drosis.

"I have a feeling I know where they might be," she said, her voice laced with a mix of amusement and concern. "Follow me. They might have stumbled upon an interesting situation." She led the way through the busy streets, moving swiftly yet gracefully.

As she rounded a corner, she came upon the scene where Tanithil and Ismael were surrounded by the group of thugs. Amisra's eyes narrowed as she assessed the situation, realizing that their crewmates hadn't noticed their presence yet. Her gaze fell upon a nearby bin filled with potatoes, and a mischievous grin crept across her lips.

Without a moment's hesitation, Amisra swiftly picked up a potato from the bin and hurled it with precise aim, aiming directly at the orc's head. As the potato smacked against its target, she couldn't resist adding a taunting remark.

"Hey, big guy! Potato for your thoughts?" she called out, her voice carrying a playful yet confident tone. She merely intended to catch them off guard and provide a window of opportunity for Tanithil and Ismael to strike. She also drew her weapons, ready for a fight.

Ismael checked his disguise and just as Tanithil made notice of, he had ears the size of moon pies. He shook his head with a smile as he heard Tanithil speak out about his choice of appearance, "Of course, I was just choosing the image of someone I saw, I have a decent memory of them, which would make it easy to see what was off". Ismael then turned back to the mirror to look a little more, "But it seems like that wasn't much of an issue". Ismael nods to himself as he thinks up of the image of a version of himself as a Dark Elf.

There he stood, with a similar face structure to himself, just raised cheeks, a slightly smaller head profile, and massive ears. His body was identical to make sure he stayed in his cloths nicely, it made it very easy for him to feel like himself without being 100% himself. Ismael threw a nod to Tanithil as he was ready for them to move on, which ended up being pretty anticlimactic as they had to continue to dodge many of the more travelled areas incase they are spotted and they rat them out.

Yet the alley is no place for normal men, as thugs appeared and began to harass them. An orc who seemed to be loaded up with muscles, a nasty-looking scraggly man with scars and a nasty face, and 2 other dark elves, one who seemed to be the leader and another who seemed small in comparison to some Ismael has seen, yet strapping underneath. Soon enough, they were surrounded, and the first one to use lethal force as a threat was Tanithil, conjuring a weapon from his shadow powers. However the first one to throw an attack was an unknown ally. A potato came flying at the large orc, and Ismael used it.

He leaped backwards to close the distance with the fairy behind him, and the moment his back foot landed he used the momentum to spin on that foot to turn the motion into a spinning back kick right into the mans body. "How about a coin for a tip (teep)*?"

Bardulf took the various reactions in, and couldn't help but let out a slight sigh. He had only been here a week and was already causing problems. Even Rue's Pegasus seemed annoyed with him, and he had grown fond of the creature in the coming days. His gaze shifted downward for a few moments in reflection of the past few events. He did indeed let his emotions get the better of him, and frankly had no idea just how dangerous that would prove to be. Here, now more than ever, he would simply need to hide who he was. He had let a bit of his more savage side slip out, as he always had in the past, and yet again he was proven right that he would struggle to fit in no matter where he went. Yet his clouded mind seemed to settle as he felt the tight embrace of Rue. Even here in this imaginary world there seemed to be people willing to tolerate and protect him. This feeling of acceptance brought joy to his heart and his arms wrapped around Rue for a few moments while his head sunk into her shoulders.

His head tilted back up, and a slight level of dew rose in them to those who may be perceptive. He blinked away the oncoming tears and shook off his depressive self-depricating thoughts. His mind had a habit of breaking him down cruelly and letting that happen unabated could result in more trouble for his new friends. The realty of what was to come seeped into him and he would need to grin and bear any troubles that came his way. Any wayward emotions would need to be cast to the side, even if he became a husk devoid of anything human by the end of this journey. If it would keep his new "pack" safe, it was a small price to pay.

"I...am sorry. Won't happen again." His voice shook slightly but he finally returned to his more stoic posture and expressions, stepping back from the embrace and making sure to hide his face beneath his cowl with a few extra adjustments and fidgets. His neck turned to face his gaze to the new elf they had just met, who seemed bewildered with the events that occurred. "I can talk more of it when we are safe, but I think for now I need to....process some things.

"I don't think you would accept 'natural causes' to be an explanation of that?" He innocently suggested. "Also, maybe we should, uhm, move along before too many people come to look at what happened. All that magic might have made a lot of noise...." He nervously coughed at the end of his sentence and stepped to the side to let the others lead the way.

A sudden gust of wind lifted Phia's pink hair, causing her to turn around and gaze in astonishment. Colossal wings swept through the air as the roc descended downward, a whirlwind of dust and leaves sent in a frenzy through the air with movement. Through the haze, the fairy caught glimpses of the roc's immense form. The air became charged as colossal wings sliced through the atmosphere. The ground quivered beneath Phia's feet, and a surge of terror paralyzed her, leaving her unable to move.

As the menacing shadow loomed over her, the roc's wide maw descended closer, threatening to engulf her. Phia's body trembled with fear, her instinct urging her to escape. In that critical moment, she felt a forceful push that sent her sprawling onto the ground with a resounding "oof!" Phia hadn't needed to see who pushed her to know how it had been. Phia scrambled up on her palms and looked over. At first, all she saw was the Roc's shut beak and she gripped her head. Somehow it felt her life had flashed before her eyes more than it had when she thought she had been about to die. Her mind started to reel with flashes of horrifying images, flooding her thoughts like fragments of a shattered nightmare. Through the sudden sensory overload, she suddenly screamed.

"Menzaaaiii!!"

Phia's voice pierced the air, a desperate cry that resonated through the surroundings. Fueled by adrenaline, she suddenly fluttered upward, her eyes scanning for Menzai's figure. Relief washed over her when she spotted him flung to the side. With urgency, she flew toward him, her face etched with panic. She practically jarringly crash-landed onto her knees, scraping them up in the dirt as she came to a halt beside him. In a rare occurrence for Phia, tears brimmed in her eyes at the sight of the blood pooling. She paid no mind to it and she pulled Menzai's head onto her lap and then placed her hands on the remnants of his arm to heal the skin. Her hands began to glow with white light, illuminating the bloody duo into view.

Her gaze darted anxiously around the area, searching for any trace of his severed arm. Sighing with resignation, she shifted her attention back to Menzai's face. "...It's going to be okay Menzai." Phia told him softly, her voice choking up with emotion. "I'm going to protect you this time.." She clenched her jaw as the ground began to suddenly shake. Phia glanced over her shoulder at the others in time to watch as Cyrus and Viola had been attacking the giant bird. Then, all of a sudden, it started to sink out of view into the ground. At that moment, an oversized hand of dirt grabbed the roc and began to squeeze it in its grasp. Phia had stared on with shock. She hadn't realized the extent of the human's powers and what they were already capable of so early on.

Overhearing Darius's voice, Phia longed to rush to her friends' aid, but she knew she had to prioritize completing Menzai's healing first. With determination, she refocused her attention on him, blocking out the chaos unfolding around them. It hadn't seemed like Menzai was conscious, but in the case he regained it, she wanted to try to ease him. Carefully, she freed one hand and brought it to his face, her fingertips tracing a gentle path down his cheek. She would return her fingers back to the beginning of their trail to repeat the action again once they reached his jawline. She began to hum quietly to him a soft melody that had once flowed from his mother's lips while she cooked, years ago.

Barrock yanked his fishing pole after Rowan made his stone toss, a fish hooked to the bait. The man's attempt to ruin the meal did not really work, but his cohorts may, knowing the intensity a fight could rise to. But then again, they were here first. But he wanted more food. Ugh.

"No need to leave." Barrock said to the elf, firm and resolute. "You were here first, I shall just sit it through, cook my fish. You would need to not mind me observing."

When mentioned of the Dark Elf back in the town, the orc got visibly angrier, with veins popping on his temple and his eyes narrowing to a slit, but very soon after, they closed and Barrock let out a long sigh.

"A disgraceful trait I try to break away from. And besides, he is just a naive idiot. And naive idiots are no threats."

After a few moments, the orc's curiosity got the better of him, again. "The name's Barrock. What is your name?"

The room was well lit by enchanted lights mounted on the ceilings. Sinister contraptions and arcane symbols adorn the large and impressive laboratory, casting eerie shadows across the cold, metallic surfaces. The air, heavy with a foreboding sense of malevolence.

In the center of the room, Zalthraxis stood tall and imposing. His obsidian scales shimmer with a malevolent sheen, reflecting the pale glow of the enchanted crystals embedded in the chamber. He did not show any signs of anger, only joy.

Zalthraxis’ eyes gleamed with delight as he watched a terrified fairy, delicate and fragile, restrained on the operating table before him. The fairy's delicate wings were torn and tattered, evidence of her previous torment. Her delicate form trembled, and her eyes once alit with life, were now looking dull and near lifeless. Zalthraxis.

“I understand you are in pain. But this is an effort towards the evolution of your species, and you are doing so well. I am very proud of you for coming this far.” The Dragonborn looked down at the fairy placing his scaly hand on the side of her cheek smiling. The fairy looked up a glint of life sparked in her eyes as if calmed by Zaltraxis’ words but she was still speechless from the hours of screaming earlier that had torn her vocal cords. “It’s time for your bath my dear.” He said as he looked up towards the dark elves that had been working around them.

“Please prepare tank one.”Zalthraxis asked.

A few dark elves immediately began to work on activating the tank pressing numerous buttons and pulling different levers which caused the glowing red liquid to circulate. The fairy who had been lying there was now struggling like a rabid animal shaking and convulsing to free herself.

Zalthraxis did not get angry, he spoke in a calm tone. “You will rest now, we have a long day tomorrow. It marks your hundredth day of being here and soon you will break free from this chrysalis towards your final step of evolution.” He spoke as he inserted a needle into the fairies arm who shortly after fell asleep.

“Prepare her and place her in the tank; I have things to handle. Don’t make me come back here for anything but an emergency.” Zalthraxis’ tone changed as soon as the fairy had lost consciousness. He stepped out of the lab and made his way to his office where his transmission stand was. Zalthraxis’ office was well kept and simple for the most part containing a desk, chair and a few cabinets for storage of folders and other things aside from the numerous pictures of successful subjects and small private inventions he had placed around the room.

Once Zalthraxis arrived he stepped towards his transmission stand pressing two buttons.“Greetings, I want all missions you are actively following to be held. I have direct orders to send you both to different locations as scouts to either infiltrate or execute groups who have allegedly summoned humans. Violetta you will head to Riverbloom and Helio you will make your way to Roshmi. I will send others once I receive a successful word from either of you and if any of you see the female red or white hair dark fairies like yourself within these groups make sure they are also captured or killed. Do not fail me.” With the orders given Zalthraxis cut the transmission.

Time: One week after Zora arrived into Avalia.
Location: Riverbloom, Daisy Bakery
Interactions: Aurora @mole
Mentions: Barrock @Conscripts, Rowan @GingerBobOh

Even though Zora wasn't expecting Aurora to deny her help request, she still was relieved when Aurora agreed with it.

"Thank you, Aurora." Zora said, with a smile towards her.

While Zora didn't react to Aurora's comment about her facing loneliness and intolerance on her past life, she didn't deny it either... Zora herself knew better than to deny that fact. She knew that for every sailor and pirate that worshiped and respected her, there were tree or four people that saw her as a cursed woman.

"Your words are always as bright as your smile, Aurora. I should be the one to be thankful for having you as a guide." Zora said with a smile and a chuckle as she heard Aurora's words.

"What happened in my previous life might not matter anymore, but regardless of that fact, Rowan cannot expect me to be something I am not. He cannot turn me into a soldier like him... Or into a weapon to be used." Zora said.

"Avalia is my new home. I will do everything I can to turn it into a suitable place for me to live... Although I will do so in my own way. In the end, our goals are similar to each other right now, are they not? There is no reason why we shouldn't be able to work together instead of using one another with deceitful words, actions and endless scheming." Zora finished as she approached Aurora with a smile, offering her hand to guide her to where Rowan went.

Time: Morning
Location: Port Vanarosa
Mention(s): Tanithil @Lava Alckon, Ismael @Th3King0fChaos
Interaction(s): Captain Drosis @Blizz, Amisra @Tae
“Got it, captain,” Arlen nodded at the response. The older elf was right, no need to worry about what ifs. They had better things to do.

“The child works,” Arlen smirked. “Our adopted little menace, hm?” he huffed, amused, continuing the impromptu massage. He could feel her tension dissipating, and a warm, happy smile formed. He was glad he’d been able to help her relax, even if just for a little bit.

“You’re welcome,” he returned quietly, tone brimming with the care he held for his friend. When she leaned into him, he offered her a gentle hug from behind. Then, feeling she was ready to get up, he let her go. Before she stood up, she glanced back, catching his gaze. Arlen held it, expression openly fond as he grinned at her.

He huffed a laugh at Amisra’s decision, backed up by the captain’s assertion. “You’re right, if they didn’t get into trouble by now, we should be asking if they’re still the people we know,” he joked.

The captain led the way out, and he followed Drosis alongside Amisra. When the dark elf princess looked at him, he gave her a firm nod. If Tanithil and Ismael were in a situation, they’d just help them out of it.

He scanned the alleyways as they traversed the city’s least reputable streets – and that was saying something.

Amisra was the first to notice their wayward allies. He had to press a fist against his mouth to stop a chuckle, smiling at her antics. He wasn’t concerned about the thugs; his group outnumbered, outskilled, and overpowered them easily. Unless the thugs had some backup somewhere, this wouldn’t be difficult.

Despite his confidence, Arlen retained a level of caution as he scaled a nearby building’s wall, unseen to the enemy. Once on the roof, he fired one of his pistols – intentionally missing, but nearly grazing the fairy.

Then, just in case any of the four thugs were smart enough to look up, he stealthily moved alongside the roof, changing his position. If the thugs left, good. If they were stupid enough to stay, the next bullet would be going through someone’s head. Arlen reloaded, waiting to see what happened.

Enstille's skin crawled as attention was on him for a moment. No, no, no, he's not interesting, don't look at him. Luckily, the woman at the door seems to be more interesting at the moment. He turns and exits into the kitchen, scooping up some meat and eggs as Malachi so eloquently put it. Finding a corner with a small stool, he took a seat, resting the plate on his knees before realizing that he did not grab a fork. Hanging his head he stands and goes over, grabbing a fork. Who is this woman that has suddenly appeared and maybe knows Malachi? Either way, she is being way too friendly for someone he's never met. Upon seating himself once again, he realizes he doesn't have his plate.

Around this time, the Human enters with panic in his eyes. Enstille knows that look. He reaches in his pocket and grabs a ginger candy. Walking to the table, he makes sure not to get too close. Better to not spook the Human. He places the candy on the table an unstartling distance away from the human. After a moment, he realizes it is not close enough to be in his area of attention so he pokes it to push it. Alas, still not close enough. He pokes it again and it rattles closer.

"This helps." He barely croaks out. First words he's spoken today and they barely escape. He clears his throat and tries again, "THIS HELPS"

Oh no. Enstille's face goes pale. Too loud this time. Quickly, he returns to his stool in the corner suddenly becoming aware of the fork in his hand. Why was he holding a fork? The noise of the others entering the kitchen now snaps him out of his thoughts as he looks up. BREAKFAST! Thats why he has the fork! He looks around his stool and does not see the plate but is sure it was somewhere here. Standing, he begins to search. Eventually he finds it but is startled by the woman who has for some reason entered the house. She greets him kindly but all he can manage is "Hhhngh amma eeee" Horrified, he grabs his plate and sprints to his seat once more.

Time to eat. Eeew there's onions in the eggs, he better pick them out before eating. After the 3rd or 4th onion he's grabbed with his fingers, cringing at the slimy feeling of each, he recalls forks are better suited for this task. He looks up and to his chagrin, his fork is on the table.... Now surrounded by the loud ones and the new lady.......

Time: MORNING
Location: INT. MAMA MALACHI'S SUMMERHOUSE - RIVER PORT
Interactions/Mentions: The guy cosplaying as an elf @princess; the other guy who’s also cosplaying as an elf @GingerBobOh
Equipment:

"Jun... Can we talk?"

Jun jerked at the sound of Malachi's voice. With a cautious slowness, he twisted his head to the source. Well, sort of the source. Technically, he was staring straight at Malachi's feet, but that was the best they were getting out of Jun. After all, when facing the armed and dangerous man, any sudden movements might be reason enough for Elrond 2.0 to bust some caps.

"Look… I come unarmed."

Tentatively lifting his line of sight, Jun confirmed that the spray bottle was, in fact, out of Malachi's hands. Still not out of reach, though. If he wanted, Malachi could snatch it back in a heartbeat.

Jun returned his gaze back to the bunny stain on the table, tracing its outline as he waited for Malachi to start talking. An awkward silence stretched between them. Malachi was expecting some kind of response. Jun shifted uncomfortably in his chair.

"You can do it!" The blotch bunny, and definitely not Jun talking to himself in a high-pitched voice, cheered. "Even if you embarrass yourself, what's the worst that can possibly happen?"

He can blast me with a real gun and dump my body somewhere, never to be found again.

"Damn, June-bug, that's real messed up! You wanna dial that negativity down just a skosh? Ha-ha!"
The bunny's chipper laugh sounded suspiciously like Mickey Mouse.

Jun heaved a weary sigh and removed his glasses to rub his eyes. It didn't matter whether he dialed it down or cranked it up to the max. As long as these people refused to free him, there was no chance of escape. This could very well be his last chance to persuade them.

The sound of something sliding across the table and a loud "THIS HELPS" startled Jun. He squinted and scanned the blurry surroundings, but without his glasses, his world was just shapeless colors. His hands explored the table's surface until his fingers brushed against a small object. Bringing it close enough to poke his eye out, Jun discovered it to be a piece of candy.

Unable to identify which colorful blur gave him the gift, Jun just nodded his thanks to the space in front of him, then popped the candy into his mouth. The familiar taste of sweet ginger flooded his mouth, conjuring memories of grandma's can of mystery treat assortments. It was always a gamble what you'd pull out of the can. Last time, he got a packet of roasted crickets. He sniffed and rubbed his eyes with the sleeves of his shirt. Emboldened by the ginger candy, Jun found his voice at last. "I want to go home."

Silence. "Please let me go." Jun braced himself, fully expecting a torrent of words or water to attack him. When nothing came, he hesitantly continued. "I-if this week proved anything, it's that you need someone to replace me. Someone who can actually do what you want them to do. You know, someone competent and has time to w……………………………………………… adventure?"

Zeva’s questions were met by a cold gaze and stern words of warning from the female fairy, which came at a bit of a shock to the young elf. She had been treating the situation with her usual lightheartedness but she was coming to notice the gravity of what she unknowingly stumbled into. The air felt as if it thickened in that moment, and her breathing wavered briefly before it was cut by Mister Luum’s rowdy laughter.

“Voiced threats useless. You should know better than anyone what’s required to keep a secret from being told by another. But as a group, we are quite bad at killing, so I have a better idea! Zeva…”

W-what?? Killing?? Zeva’s head turned slowly towards the older elf, a bead of sweat forming at her temple as he alluded to her possible execution. He continued by suggesting that Zeva join their group, going on a bit of a speech about their noble goals to save Avalia from…evil? The juxtaposition of his enthusiastic tone and nonsensical words only helped to form a mixture of confusion and anxiety at the pit of Zeva’s stomach. The thought occurred to her that she may have traded the owlbear for an even larger threat, and this one was armed with weaponry and magic.

She played it cool and responded with a light, albeit nervous, chuckle as she fiddled with a strand of her hair. “Um. I don’t want to die! But what is it exactly…that you guys do?” Her eyes panned nervously at each member of the group, all of them appearing wary of her still, except for this jovial elf, anyway. “As fun as your proposal sounds, my parents will kill me before you all do if I just disappear and miss my classes. What does saving Avalia entail? Who are you all anyway?” Zeva’s mind rattled with many more questions but before she could barrage the group with more, she felt a spell of dizziness wash through her and she stumbled backwards. The wound on her arm had been left untreated long enough for the blood loss to be significant.

“Ughh,” Zeva groaned, taking the med kit out of her bag. “Er, don’t kill me while I fix my arm please!” She took a few cautious paces back, keeping her gaze steady on the group as she began to wrap the roll of bandages across her upper arm.

One week ago, Violetta had been in the dark fairy facility, dreaming of being let out to terrorize Avalia. Though hunting down fairies for the experiments was fun, she was invigorated to hunt down an escaped dark fairy. Didn’t this dumbass know how lucky they were? Fortunate? Loved? She couldn’t understand the desire to run away. The hunt would be as exciting as would be the capture and torture. Violetta sat on a tree branch outside Riverbloom, swinging her legs and fantasizing about the possibilities. Ripped wings? Loss of fingernails and toenails? Perhaps she’d scratch out their eyeballs so the toy would lose their ability to escape again.

She hummed to herself peacefully. Then, her attention was caught as she spotted a spider crawling down the tree passed her. A smile spread across her face as she stretched out her hand. The spider paused, turning to face her, and then hesitantly extended its front legs forward. ”There, there,” Violetta cooed to the spider as she began to pet its head gently. ”You don’t have anything to worry about. I won’t hurt you.”

”Your energy is dark. Why is that?” The spider inquired as it studied her, but didn’t flinch away from the soft pets. All eight of its legs were now on the palm of Violetta’s hand. The power of holding such an innocent creature only excited her. One wrong move and the spider would be toast.

”Don't worry your pretty little head.” Her tone was soft, but carried a malice behind them as she readjusted her position to rest her back against the tree trunk. The spider must’ve noticed, because it did not continue. ”Now, my lovely eight-legged beauty, have you seen anything strange nearby?”

”Like what?”

Violetta stifled a sigh and dramatically rolled her eyes. ”Any fairies who look… unusual?”

”No. I have not. I do see many fairies here, it’s Riverbloom.”

This time, Violetta couldn’t suppress a sigh and stared down with agitation at the spider. When she went to snap back, her transmission bracelet rang, causing her to jump and nearly dispel her new friend. The spider clutched onto Violetta’s fingers and wrapped itself around her. A quick glance was given to the spider to reward it for not leaving as she answered her call. Her heart race accelerated. Which one of the three would be calling her? She was giddy with anticipation. As she answered, she smiled and fixed her position to look more professional. The spider turned to watch curiously.

“Greetings, I want all missions you are actively following to be held. Do not fail me.”

Violetta listened intently, her eyes glued to the hologram. Her eyes widened as he spoke. Humans? HUMANS? Violetta gasped, but then remembered she had to answer, so she saluted Zalthraxis and exclaimed passionately, ”Yes, father!”

The spider shifted uncomfortably on her palm and stared at her. ”What was that about?”

”Don’t worry my friend!” she exclaimed giddily, and began to glance around with a malicious grin on her face, as if a human might pop out of the bushes now. ”We have some humans to hunt down! How cool is that? An actual human! I wonder what they look like? Sound like? I wonder if they like pain!” Her excitement was palpable, and Violetta could barely contain it as she giggled joyously, as if it were Christmas. ”My friend, my precious eight-legged beauty, the love of my life, have you seen anything strange nearby?”

The spider shifted once more and began to make a beeline for the tree to escape this deranged fairy. ”Hey! I am talking to you! I didn’t dismiss you.” Letta grabbed the spider and held it by its back legs furiously as her expression morphed into downright fury. ”Did I SAY you could leave? Did I tell you it was alright? Were you listening to me? I’m not done with you!” She raised her other hand and began to engulf their area into darkness. ”You can’t escape if you can’t find your bearings. Now you tell me what you know about this kingdom and what’s happened and if you saw anything strange or I will suffocate you, never to see your worthless spider friends again.”

The spider screeched as it tried fruitlessly to escape. Letta watched with amusement as it struggled and cupped her hands around it to further shroud the creature in darkness. It sank its fangs into her but she ignored the pain. Instead of shrinking away from it, Letta relished it and grinned with malice. The spider stared at her with horror when it found she was not affected by it at all. Letta began to crush her palm around it as it shrieked and screeched to escape to no avail.

”Fine! Fine! I’ll tell you what I know! Stop!” The spider screeched finally, pleading for mercy.

Letta grinned as she relinquished her grip on it. ”That’s a good little spider,” she purred, her darkness ebbing away while her expression melted like cookies in milk.

”There’s a group… They’re outside Riverbloom. There’s two light elves and a strange looking lady with them. They have been… practicing something. I don’t know anything else! I was trying to find a place to spin my web and started to watch them! They weren’t far from here!”

Violetta smiled maliciously and petted the spider’s head once more. It shrank away, but froze otherwise so as not to get yelled at. She continued petting the spider as it quivered in her palm. Then, with a giggle, she declared, ”You are the BEST!” she giggled and continued, ”I will reward you with your freedom!” She raised her palm to a tree branch. The spider quickly began hightailing it out of there.

Letta watched with a grin as it finally moved onto the branch and then slowly took out a dagger. Watching it intently, she waited until it began to crawl away to strike. A quick stab to the back of the spider’s back caused it to shriek in pain and shock. ”It’s time… To say… goodnight.”

Violetta cackled with joy and stood up on the branch. It had been a lullaby her parents had sung to her as an infant. She swiped the spider away from the branch and watched as it fell. ”I’ll miss you!”

Rejuvenated, Violetta sprang off the branch in search of these of newfound toys.

"THIS HELPS."

A piece of candy loudly rolled across the table and Malachi's gaze had followed its every movement as it made its way to the human. His gaze did shift to Enstille briefly. He's still so bizarre.

"I want to go home."

Malachi stared at Jun and sighed. Though his expression remained nonchalant and he had initially remained silent, his mind had not.

"Please let me go." His eyes remained on the young man.

"I-if this week proved anything, it's that you need someone to replace me. Someone who can actually do what you want them to do. You know, someone competent and has time to w……………………………………………… adventure?"

The sound of Zion and the blonde woman's voices filled the house as they entered. Malachi's glance shifted upon Enstille as he meticulously plucked onions from the eggs. After a brief moment of contemplation, he leaned in slightly to Jun and spoke with sincerity, "Jun, I must admit that I haven't been successful in helping you comprehend the intricacies of our situation... and for that, I apologize," His voice, though genuine, was low enough for only him to hear, "If you would grant me a chance, I'd be grateful for the opportunity to address your concerns and truly listen to you. I want to ensure you fully understand what is transpiring here before you make any hasty decisions. If, after our discussion, you still wish to escape, I will respect your choice... But for now, would you accompany me for a stroll?"
