For centuries Fairytale World has been ruled with justice. Kings and queens had yearly events were they would meet and speak of the kingdoms they governed. How to make the people more comfortable, making sure no one went hungry and of course catching up with old friends. Every land was rich with its own produce and landscapes. Lucious terran and mountainous regiens with tropical places and deep blue seas alike were great and well taken care of. Of course not everyone followed the laws of each land but those troublemakers were always delt with justly. There were those marrying and those in university studying to become the next great scienist. People had morals and treated others with great respect. King Triton made the seven seas wave back and forth with ease and calmness. Russsia was an icey white land that entertained many times a year. France had the best bread and bakeries and music that filled hearts with peace. Underland was calming down and the White queen was being as kind as ever. Everything was peacful and at ease.............................................................................That was until 16 years ago when the skies grew gloomy, the wild beasts of the land grew tiredless and the plans of those who wished to take wealth for themselves where set into play. Many beings from across each land allied themselves with a vicious Enchantress who helped bring about distruction and Kaos. Kingdoms fell in the length of nights and royalty was shattered to pieces as lives were taken from those who vowed to protect thier homes. Innocent lives were taken and royal babies were killed. Some were looked upon with mercy only to be saved for later dates to be used and molded into tools. Only a few royal childeren were not accounted for. Rumours spread like wild fire of prince's and princess's that were drowned benieth the watery depths of Ursula's fortress. To this very day their whithered bones have yet to arrive.

Belle woke with a start. With one hand she rubbed her face while the other felt blindly in the dark for her phone to check the time.
2:47 am.
Great. Every time she had to be up early to be somewhere she had a nightmare that woke her up.
Well this hadn't been a real nightmare per say. Just shapeless figures and darkness and people talking, crying and screaming. Sometimes the figures took on the shape of people, sometimes they just twisted and swirled like black smoke.
Belle yawned and tried to go back to sleep. She had to get up in the morning and head down the shelter. It was her day to do meds, which meant either holding down dogs while she squirted flea medicine into their fur or hiding heart worm pills in cheese to trick them into eating it.
~~
She managed to get a few more hours of sleep, but her dreams were still troubled. Nothing she ever could remember when she awoke, just a feeling of great sadness and sometimes great fear.
Belle got up a few minutes before her alarm and dressed in jean shorts, a red tank top and an oversized white shirt that fell off her shoulder on one side. She left her hair long and loose and, after sticking her phone and wallet in her pocket and snatching a book from the bookshelf, hurried down the stairs to the smell of something delicious in the kitchen.
"Buongiorno Mama," Bella said as she entered the kitchen and kissed her mother's cheek.
"Good morning my Belle," the small Italian woman said, smiling warmly. "Sit and eat. You are too thin. People will think I do not feed you."
Belle laughed at the usual morning greeting from her adopted mother. "Just a muffin Mama. I have to get to the shelter."
Her mother huffed. "I don't know why you have to right that bus like a gypsy [i]bella mia[i]. It is not safe."
Belle just hugged her while reaching around the grab a muffin. "I've been riding the bus for years Mama and I am always fine."
"Besides if anyone took her they'd bring her back," a gruff voice said.
Belle laughed and hugged her father. "Good morning [i]baba[i]," she said with a warm smile before heading out the door.
As soon as she got a seat on the bus she started to read. Right now she was obsessed with the Divergent series. She had already read all three books and was re-reading the first one for the tenth time before going to see the movie. She didn't notice anyone when she was reading, although people noticed her. Once she had a book in her hands Belle was in her own world. The only reason she didn't miss her stop was that she had ridden this route so many times it was a habit firmly ingrained in her. So much so that when the bus reached her stop she got up and exited the bus, walked along the sidewalk, opened and shut the gate, opened and shut the door and found her desk at the shelter before closing the book.
She reluctantly pushed the world of fiction aside for reality. Which meant getting the meds list and starting her rounds.

Ender; The Huntsman

The Northern Kingdoms, FairyTale World

The sound of Ender crashing through the thick snow was only punctuated by the howling of pursuing dogs. Damn they were closer now. It took every part of him not to panic as he dragged himself through the white covered forest at a faster pace. How could he have been so stupid. It was reckless for him to provide the resistance so many weapons. Medicine and food didn't turn these people into a threat to the Enchantress, so why should she care about his side endeavors to put more gold in his pockets. Ender turned to look over his shoulder. A lifetime of living in the wilderness had honed his sight, letting him spot the flicker of guardsmen armor a half a mile through the trees.

The dogs were even closer. At this rate the mutes would be on him in ten minutes unless Ender could find a way to put some distance between them. Up ahead he could hear the gurgling of water. It had to be White River, so named because of the churning whiteness caused by all the rocks. It was a dangerous river to attempt to cross. Normally he would travel the five miles up stream to cross the bridge. But he didn't have the luxury today.

Ender came crashing through the underbrush, nearly tripping over the sudden drop into the river below. Looking at the violent water he suddenly doubted the promise of escape this offered. The howls of the dogs behind him drew Enders attention once more. hmm...be torn apart by the dogs or riped to shreds by sharp rocks below. Such a hard choice with no pay off. Exactly the kind of choices he avoided like that plague. "Oh damn it to the nine hells." With a last bit of courage Ender pushed himself forward, falling through the air into the water below.

The water felt like stone as Ender impacted with it, the cold sending a shock through his body. He was immediately pulled under as the current swept him away. The Huntsman gave a strong kick, barely breaking his head above the surface. His lungs gasped for precious air as the water swirled around him. A sharp pain blossomed across his back as he was slammed into a rock, followed by several more that left his ribs bruised and a deep gash across his forehead. Years of honed survival instincts kicked in, pushing Ender to fight for every inch. He swam harder for the opposite shore, catching gleams of it periodically. After what felt like an eternity he felt solid ground under his feet. Ender threw himself onto the shore, his lungs burning from the exertion.

In the calm between breaths Ender heard nothing over the roar of the water. It would be hours before his pursuers found a place to cross. The Huntsman tried to pull himself up to escape but collapsed from the pain shooting through his side. It once again knocked the breath from him, leaving Ender gasping again. If he couldn't put some distance between him and the river the two hour lead would mean nothing. The young man began to gingerly pull himself up again when he saw a gleam of gold in the mud of the river bank. Dragging himself over it Ender dug through the dirt, removing a small pendant. Ender turned it around in his fingers, wiping away the mud to reveal strange runes.

Looking back across the river pulled Ender from admiring the object. He palmed it as he pulled himself back to his feet, wincing as more pain shot through him. The last thought he had before seeing the bright light was getting somewhere where the Enchantresses' men could not find him. After that it was just a rushing wind and whiteness..

Alice Liddle of Wonderland

"Snicker-snack. Oh snicker-snack sang the blade. How I love it when my dear Vorpal blade sings its sweet tune."

Alice Liddle stopped her dance around the room, leaning over the male figure bond to a chair. She ran the blade across his face, leaving a thin red line. The twisted gleam of her eyes were reflected back in the fear stricken stare of the man. She loved that look. It just sent shivers down her spine. If she could she would look into that fear all day. But even for someone who sowed madness for madnesses' sake there was still a job to do.

"For so long, years and years infact, my mistress has been searching for those missing royals. But damn it to hell, she just can not find them. This has made her very mad. But it is not her wrath you should fear. See, she isn't hear. No matter how much she rants and raves she cannot hurt you from afar. What you should fear is this." Alice once again held up the Vorpal Blade for the man to see. "I stole her from the Queen of Hearts. Isn't she beautiful. I call her GiGi. You see, GiGi would really like to taste some royal blood. And you keep her from that...well you see that just pisses her off."

Alice twisted the blade in her hand until it pointed down and thrusted it into the bound man's leg. He screamed through the pain, his face a tear soaked red. "When deprived of her greatest desires GiGi tends to get a little stab happy. But if you tell us where our missing royals are I'm sure she would be more than happy to end your suffer."

Ariel 6:30AM Earth

Ariel tossed and turned around in her sleep when her alarm clock went off at 6:30 it was time for her to get up and get ready for school, she grabbed her cellphone quickly turning the alarm off. She went towards her closet taking out a black t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans and Ariel then grabbed her bracelets that she always worse along with a necklace that her adoptive mother had given her for her birthday a year ago. Once she had gotten her stuff ready Ariel headed down the stairs and into the kitchen where her mother was making breakfast. "Good morning mom." Ariel said wrapping her arms around her mother's waist. "Morning sweetie." Ariel's mother said as she finished making scrambled eggs and some sausage. "Want me to pack you a lunch today?" She asked looking at her daughter as she set the plate down Ariel shook her head and smiled at the offer. "No thanks i'll just buy my lunch." She quickly dug into her breakfast a few minutes and she was finished. "Thank you i'll see you this afternoon." Ariel told her mother grabbing her backpack and guitar case and left the house where the bus was already waiting for her.

Ariel nodded good morning to the bus driver as she went to sit down at one of the empty seats, Ariel took out her phone again and plugged in her headphones and listened some of her music during the fifteen minute bus ride. As she cycled through the song choices she finally picked the one she wanted to listen to, Ariel quietly started to sing along with Here's to Us by Halestorm one of her favorite songs, when the bus came to a stop to pick up few other students Ariel's closest friend Sarah had sat down next to her and smiled. "Hey there Ariel." She said hugging her friend Ariel just simply smiled returning the hug while tucking a few strands of her red hair behind her head. "Hey Sarah." Ariel said putting her headphone back along with her phone. "So going with anyone to prom next week?" Sarah asked she just shrugged to herself. "Nah i'll probably just sing at prom I don't want to go with anyone." Ariel simply said. Sarah frowned and messed her friend's hair up. "C'mon there has to be there someone, boys would die to date you and you rejected them all, your really picky."

"I just haven't found the right one yet." Ariel said as the bus came to a stop at the front of the school as the other students started to climb out of the bus and headed into the school. Ariel had gone towards her locker opening it up to grab the books that she needed for class and quickly went to her first class of the day.

Ilya had already awoken, said his morning prayers, and eaten his hearty breakfast. He walked around his field, checking on his crops. The barley was coming along nicely, even though he had not used fancy seeds or a lot of fertilizer. After a few minor tasks to ensure everything was right, he went back into the farmhouse. It was a spartan dwelling, decently sized but very cheaply built. Ilya had at least bothered to get electrical wiring installed before he moved in, the countryside was littered with dilapidated houses lacking even basic amenities.

Once inside the house, Ilya decided to read for a while. He picked up a book on Russian history, and continued from where he had stopped last time. Currently, he was in the chapter on Andropov, who seemed boring even by soviet politician standards. It was sobering to see what the history of the real world, what he had never known before. Even a thousand fairy tales could not contain a fraction Earth's stories. The world he grew up in was one of black and white, simple conflicts, and happy endings. Unlike anyone else so far, Ilya had seen a lot of both worlds.

He glanced at the calender hanging on the wall, and let out a slight groan. I've been putting off long enough. They're plenty old, and this is only going to get harder the longer I wait. he thought to himself. Ilya put down his book, and grabbed an old notebook of the table. He opened it, looking over the handwritten pages, until he found a list. It had the names and last known addresses of the royals he had been charged with protecting 16 years ago. Over the years, he'd made occasional visits just to make sure his information was correct, posing as a man on a walk, or a parent at a school event, never interacting with them. His daily life had given him more pressing matters to think and worry about, but this was always at the back of his mind.

Thoughts ran through his head as he prepared himself. If they did believe him, if they did not want to go, he didn't know what to do. He had sworn to their parents to protect them from harm, perhaps that was better done here on earth. Forcing them to come with him would be the wrong approach, all he could hope was that they listen. Even if they agreed, he had doubts about his mission. The villains had slaughtered some of the greatest heroes ever seen, what could a bunch of teenagers do to liberate the land? When doubts came like this, he remembered what he swore to do. He may have born a crippled son of peasants, but Ilya had loyalty to challenge the noblest of knights. Ilya grabbed his coat, put on his special boots, and stepped forward. He pondered which royal to see first, and let his seven-league boots whisk him away.

It all happened so fast. In the beginning the Huntsman was surrounded by native forests, than there was a flash of light and then he was flying through the air. A scream escaped his lips and the snow covered grown ground quickly approached. Just as he began to reflectively curl into a ball he noticed someone with a mass of blonde air carrying a broad step into his way. Ender cringed from the expected impact as he gave one final yell of warning.

The first thing he felt was his head colliding with the board the girl carried, the sound of it cracking echoing in his head. The girl must have spun with the impact cause he felt a heavy mass hit his side with the possibly broken ribs. This made a whole new shock of pain course through his body. The only one saving grace was the think layer of snow that covered the ground. It acted as a cushion to stop him before cracking his head against the frozen ground.

Ender had no idea how long he'd been out, only that his whole body was on fire with pain. There was no way, with how hurt he was, that he could out run the soldiers now. His life was forfeit. As his father always told him, "Someone out there carries a sword for you. The trick is to die of old age before he finds you". Ender guest his luck has finally run out. It was then that he remember the girl he hit. With the little strength he had remaining Ender managed to turn himself on his side and say through tired and raw lips. "You need to run. Get away from here before they find me again." As the last syllable slipped past his lips the Huntsman passed out again from the pain.

---Ana Earth---

Ana stroked the top of her german shepards' head softly. The dog thumped his tail happily and snuggled deeper under the covers with his owner. Laughing, Ana began to weave a story from the dog's human like behavior. "You know, Kari, dogs don't tend to snuggle under covers. Thats more of a human thing... Hmmm, as if you were human, changed into a dog! Well, what did you do to get yourself transformed, huh?" she asked quietly. Kari just kept her head on Ana's chest, looking at her, then closing his eyes. "Was it a witch? An evil witch found you at your royal birth, you are a prince Kari! She cursed you to a little puppy and now you live your life as my pet. I guess things could've turned out worse for you. You should be lucky." The dog gave a small huff and settled back down. Ana sighed, dreaming of her dog as a prince. Not just any prince, but her prince. She could see the balls and beautiful gowns, people dancing. But, the only person she would focus on, is that faceless prince that had captured her heart.

That is what made sundays so enjoyable. Her official day off, from farming and schooling. Having no plans until noon she could lounge around and let herself weave tales and stories. And maybe, if she was lucky, that tune that managed to escape her memory over and over would return, and she would sing and hum and dance as if she were a princess herself. The thoughts toyed in Ana's mind, and her heart hurt with longing. So, instead of letting it get to her, Ana shoved Kari gently off of her, and began her day. It was "shopping day" as her friends put it, and new spring clothes were a must.

---Evan Earth---

"Ninety five percent of oceans are undiscovered still, and you want to cut funding for the ocean exploration project?" Evan asked incredulously. Running his fingers through his dark shaggy hair, he paced the small office room as well as he could. The redness in his eyes and lack of a shave proved the stress in the situation. "Professor, this is a Marine Biology University. The thought of cutting material about Marine Biology is simply unimaginable. My father will pay you the extra fundings. How much do you need?" He asked, looking at the tall elderly man desperately.
He shook his head sadly, "Evan, your father has helped us greatly over the past year, and its not a matter of just the funds. There are not enough students interested in the ocean exploration project in total. I'm sorry, there is no changing it." Sighing, the professor stood and took Evan by the shoulders and led him to the office door. Evan begrudgingly let himself be walked out. He barely noticed the people watching him as he walked back to his flat. Nothing in the world could stop him with his fascination of the sea, and if that meant doing it on his own, then he would do it on his own.

Adam breathed heavily as he was marched towards the throne room. The knights beside him were clearly still terrified of Adam's fighting skills that they just bore witness to. He had just finished another 'test' today. A test to make sure that he was in top condition for body guarding the King and Prince Gustan. Adam was in his human form, but he was still covered in blood, and the shirt was in shreds, while his pants were still in condition. His heavy breathing sounded like growls even as a human, and that alone scared the two knights beside him. Soon they reached the throne room, and they marched up to the throne. Once they were standing in front, the knights jabbed Adam into bowing before the King and Prince Gustan. Of course, Adam managed to shoot a glare at Gustan before bowing, showing his hatred for the Prince.

The knight spoke to the King "Your Highness. The Beast has passed the test again,". The other knight beside him quivered. Adam looked through his peripheral vision to see that the other knight who was staying silent, was trying to keep tears from falling. He remembered, his enemy that he had just killed was this knight's brother. He didn't care though, it was the knight's fault for deciding to fight in the arena today. That knight signed his own death sentence, to Adam's eyes.
The day was less then great for Gustan as he was yet again dealing with stupid maidens that gave him no eccitement. HIs father still insisted on calling up that awful girl named Drizella. She was cute sure but she was more like a wild boar ready to attack then she was a lady. Her crybaby antics left room for Gustan to think of her as a baby boar. Gustan had spent the whole day arguing with his father over the matter. He had no taste for women that were too much like the Enchantress. Something more was needed besides jaws or a terrified demeanor. It seemed that he would be doomed to live his life alone..'A lonely handsom king forever' What a pitiful lot in life yet it would be romantic enough.

Gustans day grew even better slowly with the news of Adam's next fight. Gustan spent his time trying to sneak into the areana the battle was held in but to no avail he was pushed out by his fathers guards without so much as a bow or a 'Your highness' from those scums. INstead of watching Adam die at the hands of a pathetic solder Gustan was cast out and left to wait as though he was a towns folk. How awful it was that his father had no intentioin of letting him see the gruel and awful fight he had been hoping to wittness for years. Sadly Gustan found himself in the throne room pacing back and forth like a impatient child.

"The news will come soon enough boy. Stop your pacing," the gruff voice of the king stated. The mans eyes had been on Gustan since they gathered here. GUstan was so busy stomping about like a angered spoild brat that is was annoying to see.

Gustan ignored his fathers voice and kept about his moping until the sound of the throne room door was opened. Gustans eyes shifted quickly and his feet picked up trailing right up to the door to meet the guards. His eyes full of curiosity and hope but once Gustans dark orbs spotted Adam still alive his feet stopped in place. Gustan's eyes narrowed and he crossed his arms.

"Your Highness. The Beast has passed the test again,"

A feel of uneasyness filled Gustan at those words. "Well we can see that you imbisile. How did he win this time? He ripped out the mans throut?" Gustan growled. His eyes set on Adam who was glaring at him as well. Gustan lifted a hand and swiped it aiming for Adams face just to tant him. An evil smirk pulled at his lipss.

"Gustan!!" the king roared.
The second knight quivered, hating that he had to answer Prince Gustan's question and recall seeing his brother's death, "Wo-Worse, Y-Your Highness. He-He smashed the kn-knight's skull to pi-pi-pieces with his own ha-ha-hands…" The knight then covered his mouth, trying to not let the sick feeling from the memory. Both knights watched in horror when Prince Gustan walked up to Adam and was about to strike him.

Adam looked up to Prince Gustan when he walked up to him, and was about to swipe at him. Adam's animalistic instincts took over a bit as his lips pulled back in a snarl to show teeth sharper than a normal human's. He stood up quickly and caught Gustan's wrist in mid-swipe in his own right hand which was still sticky and red from the dead knight's blood. He stared at Gustan's dark orbs with his own eyes that showed more animal than human emotions now, and he growled at the Prince, "If I were you, I would listen to His Highness…boy,"
The word boy was spat out like it had left a bad taste in his maw. Adam oh so wanted to kill Prince Gustan, right there and then. But he knew better than to do that if he wanted to keep his own life. He wasn't quite ready to die yet.

He then pressed his hand against Gustan's chest, and shoved him hard enough so he would trip backwards and fall on his behind. Honestly, it amused him to embarrass the Prince, even if he didn't laugh or show amusement at all. In all honesty, Gustan should be grateful that Adam didn't decide to kill him right then and there, and he should be counting his lucky stars that his father was around.
Gustan thought himself to be pretty smart and clever as his hand aimed for Adam but Adam had caught it in mid air. Gustans face turned red with anger but his eyes stayed on Adam who was more then angry as he held Gustans wrist. He could feel the pressure against his skin almost enough to break. The prince took a deep breath as his eyes grew a bit wide.

"If I were you, I would listen to His Highness…boy," Adam replied with a venom like voice. The sing of it ringed in Gustans ears just before the Beast used his palms to shove Gustan backards.

Gustan stumbled and his arms flailed about as he tried to catch himself with his feet but to no avail. The beast was too strong. Stronger then any mortal man sending the high horse prince tumbling backwards. Gustan was about to hit the floor with an oof but a pair of hands caught him. Gustan turned his eyes up to see his father shaking his head just before the king pushed Gustan in an upright position.

*~*~*Mei Tripitakas, Earth*~*~*

The alarm clock blared once again, giving off the annoying tone as always. It was immediately silenced by Mei, who became quickly alert and awake. She had already been lying awake by the time the alarm clock went off. She was quite used to getting up earlier than six in the morning, thanks to her time spent in that temple. She sighed as she got up and made her small breakfast, which was a plastic cup full of instant oatmeal. As she ate her breakfast, she finished her homework for her classes. After that, she quickly got dressed, gathered her things and headed for her first class of the day. She ran her schedule for today through her mind. Other than her usual college classes and homework, there was also a charity event that she was going to help out with tonight. The charity event was a festival, and the money received would go towards to helping the orphanages and after school programs for children.

As she headed for classes, she passed by the field where athletes were practicing and training in various sports. She herself preferred to run whenever she can, but unfortunately, there was no time for her to do so today. She didn't know why she preferred running over any other sport, it was just something that she liked, even if running was difficult at times. She continued on her way, ignoring the athletes and was more focused on recalling what she learned from last lecture, just in case the teacher decided to give a pop quiz.

When next Ender was conscious of anything it was that he was laying on something soft and warm. There was also something over him. He moved his hands pulling off the blanket and groaned from the soreness as he turned over and looked around. It wasn't much different than his own cosy cottage, though he saw some things unfamiliar to him. A cold circle against his forearm pulled his eyes from scanning the room and looked down. It was the pendent Ender had found in the river bed. He was surprised at how cold to the touch it was.

He picked it up and turned it in his finger in the light. It had an ethereal quality to it that screamed magic. Maybe it had been magic that pulled him away from his hunters. It was than his mind snapped back to the events in recent hours. The Huntsman jumped up from the couch looking for an escape. But he only got up half way before the pain in his side shot through him again. His whole body went rigid as Ender fell back on the couch in a scream of pain.
"Whoah, whoah, whoah!" Running forward she dropped down skidding to a stop on her knees in front of the couch her hands reaching out pushing lightly on his chest so that he wouldn't more and hurt himself anymore than he already had, "Listen, your hurt, the more you move the worse it will get. So stop being so stubborn and just stop!" She narrowed her eyes staring him straight in the eyes her voice firmer than normal as she began to lay down the law for him, "Now, this is what I've gotten so far, you fell out of the damn sky and straight down on top of me. Not to mention you broke my favourite snowboard." Standing up she pulled off her gloves and jacket letting them fall to the ground at her feet as she continued her little rant, "Unless your the Doctor and you have a tardis stashed away somewhere on the slopes, I will not excuse what has happened here today, and I most certainly wont let you go anywhere until your fit and ready to. Do I make myself clear?"

She placed her hands on her hips as she eyed him sizing him up and wondering how far she could take it before he retaliated, if worse came to worse she could always throw him out into the cold snow but she was not like that. Showing the thought out of her mind she huffed out a sigh giving herself a moment to calm down before she dropped back down to her knees her hands reaching out, one taking a hold of his while her other gently rested on his forehead brushing his hair off his face so she could see him properly; her gaze soft and showing her concern, "My name is Elise. My father owns this ski-lodge. I can tell you now that nothing is going to happen to you while your under this roof, but until your well again... I will not let you out of my sight... Do you understand?"
"The who and a what now?"

Ender was bent over holding his sides, head down as he tried to catch his breath. He barely noticed anything else the girl said until he felt her warm hand brushing the hair from his forehead. He looked up into the brightest blue eyes that he'd ever seen. But those were dwarfed by the girl's beauty. He gaped as Elise continued to stare at him with concern. Finally he has able to speak through parched lips. "Tha..thank you. Where are we?"

The Huntsman waved off the obvious repeat that they were in her father's ski-lodge. "I mean how far from the Enchantress' boarder. I'm not safe as long as I remain within her spear of influence."
"Tha..thank you. Where are we?" Her lips turned up in a soft smile as she heard him speak for the first time since they had been thrown together in the snow, relaxing slightly she let her eyes flick over his features; cracked lips, a soft pinkish tinge to his cheeks and the sound of his voice slightly horse. Standing up she made her way into the kitchen fumbling through the high cupboards as she grabbed a couple of glasses as she answered him, "We're up in north California..." Moving over to the sink she filled each of them up with water as she continued, "Lake Tahoe? Any of this ringing a bell or do you honestly not know where you are..." Her voice trailed off as she watched him the water overflowing in one of the glasses causing her to stumble slightly quickly shutting off the faucet, picking herself back up from her stumble she wandered back over to him holding out one of the glasses for him to take.

"I mean how far from the Enchantress' boarder. I'm not safe as long as I remain within her spear of influence." Enchantress? What on earth was he on about? The only time she had ever heard of an Enchantress was within the books that she read and the Disney movies she had watched over and over again as a child, the worn out tapes lining a couple of the shelves on the bookcase in her room, "There is no Enchantress... There's no Evil Queen, no big bad wolves, no poison apples... No dragons, dwarves, elves... No happy endings... This is the real world, fairy tales don't exist. You want to make it here, you need to work..."
Ender looked at the girl funny as she spoke. He'd never heard of this California. And he didn't know about these... elves...but dragons did exist. Hell he'd seen one fly over his head barely a week ago. If only he'd realized it than that the dragon had been tracking him Ender might have gotten a better start. He had to agree with the no happy endings. His whole life had been the opposite.

The Huntsman took the glass of water and quickly downed it. He almost retched it back up because of the metallic taste. Never had he ever had water that tasted so dirty. Finally he set the glass back down on the table and looked back up into those clear blue eyes. "Are you daf girl. After everything that...witch...has done to my people...our people...how can you say she doesn't exist."

He knew he was getting a little too excited. He hissed as another shock of pain went through his side. For the first time since the river Ender lifted his shirt to examine the damage. His whole side was purpled in bruises. The fact that he could still breath meant that at least nothing was broken.
She watched in silence as he took the glass sculling the water before placing it down on the coffee table in front of him, "Are you daf girl. After everything that...witch...has done to my people...our people...how can you say she doesn't exist." Was he trying to make her angry, because if that was his goal it was starting to work, "Look here, there is no magic, no witches, no warlocks! No Princes or Princesses... No Kings or Queens... Nothing! Its all made up! Make believe for the sake of little children! So get your head out of the damn clouds because here on earth, the closest thing we have to magic is the damn television and microwave popcorn! Stop filling yourself with nonsense about fairy tales and grand adventures, nothing like that is real, no matter how much hard wish; dreams don't come true, true love is a myth, and like I said, there are no happy endings unless your rich enough to buy them..."

She shut up as she watched him lift his shirt the purple and black bruising causing her eyes to widen with worry, closing her eyes she took a deep breath once again calming herself down; it wasn't his fault... He probably just hit his head a bit too hard on his way down from where ever it was he came from. Reaching out she took hold of his hands helping him up onto his feet before leading the way down the hall and into the bathroom, letting go of him she turned and leant into the shower turning the taps so that the water began to fall at a temperature that wasn't too hot to scold him but wasn't as cold as ice, "Here..." Standing up straight she turned back to him an apologetic look on her face, "I'm sorry... I lost my cool back there, I didn't mean to... Have a shower, the warm water should help you feel better. I'll get you some clean warm clothes, when your done just let me know... Towels are behind you on the rack..." Slipping past him she closed the door leaning back against it her eyes closing as she bit her lower lip softly.
Ender stared at Elise in confusion as she walked out of the bathroom. What is wrong with this girl. She was acting like their entire world didn't exist. How was that even possible. What kind of world could exist without magic and the like. Slowly he peeled off his clothes, avoiding any jarring movement as he stepped into the shower. The whole shower set up with strange. He didn't understand the whole temperature knobs. He ran into another issue when Ender couldn't find the soap. There as a bottle with some sort of thick liquid that smelt good and a puffy towel like ball.

Shrugging his shoulders Ender dumped some of the liquid in his hand and gently rubbed it into his body. As the warm water rinsed over him, washing away the soap Ender began to think some more. The last fifteen minutes hadn't made any since. It would think that the girl was simple in the head by her answers, but one look in her eyes told Ender that she genuinely believed what she said. If Elise believed in the world she spouted on about, yet Ender knew that the opposite was true than what could be real. Than again with the little magic the Huntsman had seen in his time he knew nothing was off limits to its practitioners, even whole new worlds.

Ender stopped in mid-scrub as a possibility struck him like a thunder bolt. No...it couldn't be. Ender quickly shut down the shower and practically burst from the stall. Pain long gone as she dug through his pile of clothes looking for it. Finally his hand came away with the pendent encased in his fingers. It was still freezing to the touch and radiated power. With a smile on his face the Huntsman ran out of the bathroom, forgetting his clothes entirely, and searched the house for Elise. He spotted his blonde mane and rushed up to her, grabbing her arm.

"Here...I have proof." Ender held up the pendent for Elise to see. He stared a hole into it trying to make the damn thing work again. But nothing happened. He saw Elise stare at him like he'd gone completely crazy, and to be honest Ender was starting to believe it. He was about to give up when he remember his last thought before the light. Maybe, just maybe. The Huntsman pictured his home in his head, remembering all the feelings the sight always brought him. Then there was a bright light and a whooshing sound.

When next he open his eyes they stood on the bank of the Shire River. Looming over them was the cliff hanging Bree Hold. Ender stared at it with a slight smirk, the cold breeze across his exposed nether region a distant sensation to him. "Still think its all make believe?"

Hansel - Fairytale Land

Revving his chainsaw, Hansel grumbled on about something do with how he didn't bloody care if the Aveana was a little chilly in her room and how she's got magic so she should just conjure up her own damn wood. Despite his displeasure, he continued to work; it was better than the death that would surely follow if he didn't comply, though, sometimes it didn't seem that way. However, any time away from the castle was a good time.

Once the tree fell, Hansel paused to take a swig of the small canteen of whiskey that hung from his hip. It was encased in a brown leather pouch with the seal of the kingdom on it, and while he loved whisky, the Enchantress's crest on it was like a taunt of her power over him. The thought only made him crave the drink more so the burning sensation in the back of this throat as it went down was a familiar and welcome feeling. Capping the canteen, he picked up his chainsaw and went back to work cutting it into manageable pieces. In almost no time at all, he had the wood loaded it into the bed of the pick up truck they let him use.

Sliding into the car, Hansel cursed the Enchantress for living so far away from vegetation. She just had to live across a monstrous platform several hundred feet in the sky. He knew she could just as easily have gotten more wood for herself, but she's so sadistic that she knew somebody had to go out in this weather to get it for her. Lucky for him, however, he'd never had to deal with her much face to face despite the face that he'd lived there for the past 16 years. It was reminders like that, that made him thankful for being the errand boy of a servant. He truly felt sorry for the poor blokes who had to deal with her on a daily basis.

Drizella - Fairytale Land

The empty feeling in her stomach didn't bother Drizella much as she sat at her vanity, admiring her own face. Gustan was a fool. How could he not be interested in such a picture of perfection? It's not like he was a real catch! He was loud and brutish and completely self-obsessed! He was no Prince Charming. While Drizella knew better than anyone that this was all true, she also knew he was devilishly handsome, extremely wealthy, and, most importantly, a prince!

Leaning her hand on her fist, the brunette sighed. What did she have to do to get through to him? How could she make him see that she was the one he's been searching for? Or perhaps...that's it! She's going to become the one he's searching for. Who cares if he doesn't fall for 'the real' her? As long as he's rich everything's fine because everyone knows the real power in this world isn't magic. It's money! Dr. Facilier taught her that.

However, there's a problem. What is Gustan looking for? Perfection is right here! What more could he want? Drizella mulled this question over as she touched up her makeup, applying generous amounts of green eye shadow to match her new green and gold dress. It was her new favorite because not only was it her two favorite colors (green for money and gold for, well, you know, gold) it also showed off her tiny waist. As a final touch, she added a gold hair bow to match her dress and shoes. It was perfect! Thankfully, his father extended an invitation to her family to stay in their castle for a while, which meant that Drizella had 24/7 access to the prince. Now all she had to do was pack!

Belle sighed when the dog spat out the cheese.
"Bruno, come on. Cut me some slack here," she said but the German Shepard just cocked his head at her.
"You have to take your heart worm medicine," Belle insisted. "I'm serious now."
His response was a yawn.
Belle put her hands on her hips. Alright, so she wasn't the most intimidating person around. "Oh you big palooka," she sighed. He put his paw on her knee, wagging his tail. Belle laughed and hugged the large dog. "The puppy act is not going to work on me this time."
He proceeded to lay his head on her knee and wag his tail.
Okay, so the puppy act worked on her every time. Belle spent the next fifteen minutes petting and loving on the large dog before finally getting the cheese into his mouth and holding his jaws shut. She massaged his neck until he finally swallowed.

That was the last of her rounds for now. Belle put everything away and went back to her desk. There was a list of phone calls she had to make, but she decided to take a little break and get back to the world of her book.
The door chimed. "Belle? You're already here? Good God girl we need to get you a life."
Belle looked up at Cynthia, her co-worker. "I have a life," she protested with a smile. "A very full one."
"Let me rephrase that : we need to get you a man."
Belle only laughed and brushed her hair back. "Don't need one of those. They're nothing but trouble. Besides, do you see any man getting passed my father?"
"Forget your father. The guy would have to worship the ground you walk on to get passed your mother," Cynthia pointed out.

They shared a laugh when the door opened. A man came stomping in, dragging a dog on a leash behind him. It was obvious the dog had been hit multiple times. It was whimpering and having a hard time walking. "Someone come here and take this damn mutt!"
Belle put her book down and stood. "What can I help you with sir?" she asked.
"You can take this useless mutt!" he snapped, jerking the dog forward. "Bitch got herself pregnant. I don't need this shit!"
Belle tried to maintain her hold on her temper. "That is why we encourage people to spay and neuter their animals."
The man scoffed. "Like I'm gonna pay so some greedy doctor can get a Ferrari."
"Well then you should have kept her penned up, sir," she added, a warning in her voice.
"I don't need some bitch to mouth off to me," the man snapped and jerked on the leash again. "Take this damn bitch or I'm gonna put her down myself."
Belle reached over and snatched the leash from him. "We'll take her. Now get out of here before I call the cops and have them arrest you for animal cruelty."
The man's eyes narrowed. "Don't threaten me toots."
"That wasn't a threat, it was a fact," she replied, her own eyes narrowing. "And don't call me 'toots', jerk."
She could tell the man wanted to come over the counter at her, but he just tightened his fists and stomped out. Without a word Cynthia went to the window and got his tag number. "Now, to call the cops or call my boyfriend the repo-man..." she mused.
Belle knelt to examine the dog. She was thin and terrified. Belle stroked her soothingly. "It's okay little one. It's okay. Cyn, can you get Doc Sherman on the phone? We need to get her pups checked and make sure that idiot didn't hurt them."
"Got it," she replied and reached for the phone while Belle carried the dog to the back. She talked to her gently as she cleaned her up and placed her in a pen with a thick warm blanket.

Ariel sat quietly throughout class had been fairly boring and routine she looked up at the clock seeing that it was almost time for swim practice which she had always looked forward to during the school day. When the bell rang Ariel left her history class heading towards the girl's locker room she was always the first one to get into the pool, she went inside the locker room where her bathing suit was along with her goggles and swim cap. When Ariel entered the school's indoor pool Ariel looked around enjoying the quiet and the stillness in the room. Ariel then jumped into the water doing laps around the pool and then the rest of the girls came in a few minutes later to join her.

Life...what a pitiful state to be in. What could possibly be worse then spending the day cleaning Rothbarts awful grotesque bedroom? The man was a wild animal and this place proved it. HIs clothes were left everywhere clean and dirty alike. The smell of swet, old food and who knows what filled the stenchy room and soaked into the walls and floor. The man had never let anyone step foot into this place ever since he took over the kingdom but after all these years he caved. Could not stand living in his own phecies it seemed. Took him long enough.

Oddy's face turned blue as she lifted up a pair of stale and rotten underwear off the old wooden stained floor. She gagged and her eyes rolled back in her head as the oddor filed her nostrels with a painful rush. Oddy scrunched up her nose while she preyed that this discusting nightmare would be over. Why did she have to do this? Why couldnt he learn how to clean himself? She pouted for a moment as she remembered the last time she made the man angry....That was when Oddy had kneed Gustan in the groin for calling her a Beast.

In her remembering suddenly Oddy felt the sting of tears fill her eyes. It was painful and itchy as she took a deep breath and decided to hurry up and get the task done and over with. Oddy turned to the large plastic hamper she had rolled in....that just so happened to look like a garbage can. In her endeveours to fight illness she accidently stepped in the way of the on coming air vent that sent a breeze of air straight towards the boxers and her face. Oddy gagged and ducked her head trying to keep far from the vent as she stepped back feeling her thoughts urn cloudy. So much for getting this done fast.
Once she was able to open her eyes and somewhat think clearly Oddys blue orbs set on the dirty boxers as her gloves let go letting the grotesque garment fall to the floor. She stood up fast and bolted to the window at the end of the room. Shakingly her fingers pried the latch that held the window shut until the sound of a click snapped making the window glide open. Oddy shoved the window aside to end of its hinges as she gasped for air. A painful burn hit her throut as she coughed for air. To live, that was her idea today.
After a moment of air Oddy was able to breathe somewhat better. Her attention turned back to the room...Ugh why me? her mind once again whined from her new chore. She froze for a moment pondering for ideas that could make this fast and simple until she realised something. Odette quickly ran to the floor and grabbed hold of as many dirty clothes as she could piling up her arms as she cradled them and made her way to the window.
She did her best to keep from breathing as she did and once the window was close enough Oddy swung and tossed the clothes out and watched as they fell down to the courtyard tile. Odette once again went back another time and another until every piece of clothing was emptied from the room. After she glanced around feeling pride over her work and stood around inspecting to see if there was any sock she had left behind. Her idea of tossing Rothbarts clothes out was much better then having to force herself to breathe.
Odette then began to continue cleaning the room. She spent hours dusting, tossing trash, placing things in order and vaccuming until the place looked the best she could make it. Oddy gathered her cleaning supplies and left the room all the while wishing she had poisin or something to leave in Rothbarts pillos or shaving cream. She did hate the man but cleaning was sort of a way to keep her mind off her problems sadly. She always did her best and lost herself in the task.

Ragnar~ Fairy Tale Land: Northern Forest.

Ragnar was silent, and still, in his position among the bushes of the forest. His arms drawn up in a series of curves, whilst holding the figure of a bow. He smiled as the modernized format of the recurve bow began to twitch in his arms. The string tightened, the wood shifted, and his left arm straightened out while his right one bent back and held the string tight. He stood slowly, just out from behind a tree, and held his posture a moment along with his breath. He then, with the release of his breath, released the string and slung the notched arrow forward. The simple, field-point, arrowhead swirled through the air tightly before sliding just in behind the left shoulder of a stag, and continuing in through the vital organs, before stopping halfway through. The mighty stag leaped forward in one movement, but landed on it's chest as it's legs gave way through the jump and it's body slowed to a dead still. Ragnar took a moment, not only to ensure the stag was deceased, but to also ensure there was nothing stirred up around him, and when he stopped his listening he proceeded forward. He pulled a couple of blades from his belt and smiled as he dug them into the cervine beast one by one, until each had done it's job and the deer was processed.

Once he had it all separated, he divided the deer up into specific sacks and he began dragging it home, but it was no mere easy task. He was carrying everything possible: Hide, Antlers, Meat, and even the skull and some bones. It took him a few hours to drag all of the stuff back to the small town he had been staying in, and when he arrived there was a small mustering of children to greet him, alongside a few elderly folk sitting together. The majority of the present people seemed excited that he had taken such a grand kill, for their nestled town of no more then several households could share this beast and feed themselves for a short time, before he would have to go off again. He dropped off sections of the meat to each household, and then he dropped the hide off at the resident tanner, while leaving the antlers with the local smith to made into knife handles. The skull however was placed inside his own home, upon the wall. While it seemed less of a trophy without the antlers, it was more of a reminder. It was his reminder that you can be a hunter, without being a beast.
Lillian Red~ Fairy Tale Land: West of the Northern Forest, along a beaten path to the Northern City.

Lillian strolled along, her shoes scuffing the ground ever so slightly, with her vibrant hair flowing, and her figure enveloped in a smooth, white, sundress. The dress was then wrapped in a pleasant pink-creme colored apron. Her arms bore a basket on each side, one on her left filled with various vials of seasoning and the one on the right was filled with all manner dried herbs. Both baskets were rather large, but long in the manner of flower baskets, and swayed softly as she made her way along the heavily traveled path. Her brilliantly colored orbs surveyed the way along from behind her glasses with a spectacular allure to the vibrant land. Her eyes wandered, and so did her mind, as she continued further and further forward. Her mind slowly slipped into it's world, something that is hard to imagine in the land of fairy tales, but it did so quickly nonetheless. She became so wrapped up in her thoughts and mental images, that she nearly missed the oncoming carriage of runaway horses, it was only by the luck of the screaming coachmen that she snapped into reality and leaped to the side. The wagon stirred up s fuss of men and women near the town, as well as a cloud of dust and dirt that covered Lillian in a thick coat. She huffed and choked on the dust a moment before laying her baskets down and wiping herself off somewhat, and then proceeded to the city of the Northern Kingdom.

The rest of the day for Ariel had gone uneventful, she got out and got onto the bus and road it home, she remembered that she had a tour of a college nearby she had been looking at schools since the year started and was getting ready for her own future. Ariel went to her car once her bus dropped her off the day had been fairly nice so far, her car was a blue Honda Civic Ariel put the keys into the ignition and drove off towards the college. Ariel turned on the radio and lowered the window to let the warm air come through a few minutes later Ariel was at the college where she had her eyes on for awhile now, she went towards the parking lot and then got out making sure that she had locked her car and headed into the lobby.

Ariel stood there seeing a few more students her age as they went on towards their classes she then saw one of the teachers and shook her hand. "Hello, i'm guessing you are Ariel and interested in a tour right?" Ariel smiled and accepted the hand shake and nodded at the man. "Yeah i'm just looking around thought it be a good fit." She answered simply walking with the man down the hallways as he explained the courses and other things that they did for the school.
