Lena Pierce awoke with a start as someone knocked on the door to her office. She sat up in her chair, having apparently fallen asleep at her desk the night before. She peeled the top page of a medical report off her face and placed it back on the top of it's pile before rubbing the sleep from her eyes and readjusting her glasses back into their proper position on her face. She stood up, slipping her hands into the pockets of her labcoat only for one of them to come back out a moment later, clutching a half eaten candy bar which she proceeded to take bite out of, ignoring the occasional bit of white fluff that coated it. Her snack was interrupted by yet another knock and she turned towards the door.

"Yeah, come in! The door's open!" She called out, swallowing a mouthful of chocolate. The door opened to admit the receptionist. They were the only two people working in the building, as the Diehlstadt Medical Clinic was a very small practice. "Dr Pierce." The receptionist said as she entered. "Those x rays you ordered came in this morning." She handed Lena a medical envelope before returning to her desk in the waiting room, closing the door behind her.

Lena opened the envelope and spread the x rays out on her desk before switching on the light box on her wall and selecting a few of the slides to place there so that she could see them. The x rays showed the upper back of a humanoid skeleton complete with a spine, shoulder blades and ribcage. This skeleton, however, also had a pair of wings growing out of the shoulder blades.

Lena studied the x-ray closely for a few minutes, munching on her old candy bar. The delicate finger bones of the wings showed signs of over a dozen minute fractures that had since healed up more or less nicely. Lena slipped what was left of the candy bar back into her pocket before sitting back down at her desk and picking up a pencil, at which point she began to finish a sketch she'd been drawing of an Angel's Skeletal Structure, for her book.

There were still a few hours to noon, and Masilatabhrata considered his options as he left the market. There were a few, trivial things he could do in the meantime (There were always people to bother, after all), but he conidred it best to just go home. He didn't have a separate shop for his business. The modest row home he held his life in he also took care of his customers. Would it be more profitable to rent a store? Absolutely. But word of mouth did him well, and he made enough to live comfortably. He noticed his clients always seemed more comfortable, and what was good for them was good for him.

A small group of people standing near his house barely caught his attention, until he heard screaming. He glanced back at them as he unlocked his door, "Can you stop that, you'll scare my bird-" He stopped everything, dropping his bag as he turned to face the three. The one was moving around frantically, yelling something but the alp didn't have the time to look at them.

The angel was what caught his attention first. Past experiences with the celestial beings left him wary of them, most especially the potentates. He couldn't figure out what rank this one was, however, that didn't put him at ease. Had she always been in the town? Wait. He remembered when he first came to the town, and someone had offhandedly mentioned an angel running the post office. That had been the reason any time he ordered a package, he would pick it up directly rather than let it be delivered. He had always been very methodical with his mail, so that he wouldn't have to meet the angel or have them so much as glance at his mail. Seeing her face to face made him think that maybe she wasn't that bad, or maybe she was and her looks were just deciving. In any case, he didn't like the idea of an angel being so close to his house. It could easily throw off the energy he had spent so long perfecting, and then he would have bad luck until he could fix it thanks to her.

He couldn't have thought of something to say to the angel before his attention turned to the man. Well, at least once he was a man, rather than a monster. "Holy shit." He walked down the steps , his red eyes focused at the man's own. Looking at them, there was no mistake. There was a bokor in this town, and he didn't even know it? He was frustrated with himself for not realizing this sooner. Whoever they were, they were better than Masilalt. His mother was a mambo, and while many of her teachings stuck with him, he now found himself wishing he had spent some more time paying attention to her in their short time together. "Don't you have more important things to do than to be standing here screaming?" Part of him hoped he didn't. Business could wait, right now this vodun zombie was his top priority.

Sophie

Oerba, Ian, Simon, Mulivon

Even if the jackal woman had noticed the slight look in the naga's eyes it was likely lost upon her. Or if the former her expression gave no indication of such. Having turned her attention to the counter she awaiting Simon or Albert to have a moment. They were quite busy and felt no need to rush them. Business picked up quicker here than she had expected. By no means did she intend to be around very many people. Coming early was an attempt to avoid such. The inner thought of her mind were interrupted when her acute senses picked up on a distinct scent of filth. Not that it meant much. It took very little for her to notice something like that.

Turning slightly she glanced over her shoulder, her ears swiveling slightly following her gaze. It was an unconscious action to listen as well as see what was going on. The source of the smell was a disheveled young demon who joked with the large naga, not a particularly wise thing to do. Sophie seemed to recall seeing Ian from a distance on a couple occasions but he always seemed distracted by someone else. Apparently moving on the male attempted making an advance on the woman she had observed earlier who wanted nothing to do with it. Thinking this a rather good plan herself she tried to turn away before anyone noticed but kept her ears alert. The young jackal was not keen on surprises.

Ian interacting with Oerba, Mulivon, Sophie, and Simon

"I haven't tried that kind of play yet," Ian sniffed himself a little, noticing that he did smell a bit rank this morning. "I'd ask if you'd want to try, but you've made it clear your interests don't swing that way." A shame, for the Lamia was truly a stunning individual that he'd love to be with on a more intimate level, but he guess it just wasn't in the cards. He gave a wave to her as he walked by, Leroy following up with a hiss of challenge at the serpent woman. He didn't care of the disparity of size between the two, Leroy hated to be challenged by anyone. His body posture seemed to say, 'Watch yourself, I know where you sleep'.

Ian then walked over to Sophie, giving a smile to her, he'd seen her around here and there but had never talked to her. A serious pursuit would have to still wait, but he could at least give a friendly introduction. "Hello there, madame, the name is Ian and I've some advice for you. Be wary of Oerba, she has a taste for the nubile flesh of beautiful women such as yourself, so do be wary she doesn't devour you one of these days . . . unless you're into that sort of thing." He whispered the last bit to keep the subject of the advice from hearing it. After that he'd give a small smile before he turned around to address the new face that sat down a seat or two away from the jackal-girl, sitting next to her with his hands templed, Leroy unfurling from around his head to look at her for a second, before scuttling down to the counter-top to recurl into a big ball of black fluff.

"Simon, could I have some coffee and a scone, please and thank you." Ian gave his order, before turning to address Mulivon. "So, not one for crowds I see, if I'm intruding please let me know and I'll gladly leave you be. If not, then maybe you could humor me a few questions about you, I do love to learn about the livesof others. In return, you could ask anything you want of me as well."

"So Mulivon, your name is immensely fascinating to say by the way, were do you come from and what brings you to our quaint little town of Dielstadht?"

"Good morning Simon Armijo. How are you?"

The llama smiled at the jackal girl, giving a nod.

"Good morning Sophie. I'm doing well, it seems my little corner is fairly popular this morning. I hope you're having a nice start to your day."

Albert headed behind the counter, seeming a little out of breath. Mornings were usually the busiest time for the cafe, sure, but never this early! The boy nodded at Sophie, the fear of Oerba having been put aside as he focused instead on work. His eyes flitted briefly towards Mulivon with a slight tinge of his cheeks before focusing firmly on the Jackal girl.

"Hi, what did you need?"

Simon took his focus back onto those in front of him. Oerba continued her usual teasing, making Simon simply smile his usual breezy smile. She was energetic this morning it seemed. As Mulivon made her statement for...fruit filled sweetbread? A pastry? Simon opted for a pastry, asking for clarification in the midst of this crowd was probably a bad idea, the hybrid saw the street outside start to get busier with the day to day traffic.

"Officer Oerba, please remember that despite your position as an officer, you are currently on private property and I would ask that you not insult my customers. Enjoy the coffee."

The hybrid smiled at the Naga, before tilting a head to Ian as he called out his own order, the llama heading up to the front to begin working on all the requests and help Albert out before the rest of the morning crowd came in. Maybe he should have asked Sarah to come in earlier...

"Ian, also remember our discussion about harassing my female employees and customers before you start your usual flirting."

Albert seemed to be helping Sophie, so Simon opted for multitasking, smiling at Mitch while he pulled a raspberry pastry and a scone out of the case. He was hoping the...Norse? Hard to tell really, the girl wearing a skull headdress, would like raspberry instead of lemon or blueberry. He put the scone well away from the front of the counter, mostly so Ian didn't simply walk off without paying for it. The coffee brewer was still churning away as Simon handed the pastry to Mulivon, before heading over to the snake boy.

"Good morning, what can I get ya?"

For a brief moment Ian addressed her and introduced himself by what she assumed was his first name. Giving a piece of wisdom she nodded respectfully but did not quite understand what he had meant. Glancing at the naga for a moment he had run off to speak with the one next to her. How rude, but no matter. The town wasn't so big that she wouldn't see him again. Though given that they were right next to her she would be able to hear everything. Besides Simon had responded to her so that would suffice for social interaction. "Yes I see that. I was not expecting it to be this crowded when I left the library this morning." Before too much else could be said he was off again. But just as before she paid no mind.

When Albert came over and asked what she wanted she paused. She still did not understand the draw of coffee and did not know which one would be better over another. After ordering a coffee from the manu she headed out with it in hand. Really, she should know a bit better what could have added in has attempt. Coffee was not a big thing in France during the 1800s. But sugar should be a given.

She waited for a few moments after Kirei exited the store and watched her causally make her way to the cafe. Anna could see all the hustle and bustle inside that little thing and raised an eyebrow in curiosity. It wasn't often that the cafe was so popular this early in the morning, which made Anna smirk a little - how busy Simon must've felt right now while Anna got to lazily recline in her chair. Though there was one advantage to having so many customers - more money, but Anna wasn't too worried about this. Not having to eat made making a living about twice as easy.

She took a few moments to relax, staring at the pause screen for her game. It had felt odd to be so open with someone she had just met. Of course the conversation had just flowed in that direction, so she shouldn't feel too bad about it, though it was hard not to think over it a few times. Kirei seemed to be friendly though it was obvious that the spider-woman wasn't used to conversing all that much ... Anna had to admit it though, most of her thoughts were drifting to her own comments.

Memories slowly broke through the floodgate of her past, how often she was mistreated, ignored, and judged because of what and who she was. Myth creatures had become more open lately, but it didn't change the fact that Yōkai were rare even compared to other myth creatures. Something about being a spirit made others even more cautious around you it seemed, well except in this town. Still, she was so used to being shunned and ignored, how could she ever believe any woman would want to be with her?

Kirei had mentioned trying to make herself seem attractive or tempt others with her cuteness. She curled her tail into her lap and gently petted it, wondering if she was even capable of doing that. Anna had only ever been herself and she didn't like the idea of acting just to try and get someone's attention. After all, if they really wanted to be with her, then they'd just like her... for being herself, right?

Eventually she settled on the same thing she always settled on - it was never likely anyone would really want to be with her. Even the few times she experienced being with a woman before, it always blew up in her face. It was just normal. So what could a cat do besides try and find happiness outside of love, if she knew she'd never be loved? That was definitely a question that had been plaguing her lately. She ran a store, but would she, could she ever do anything meaningful with her life? Anna sighed and slumped back in her chair.

'Gods, today is going to be a long day...'

"Ice Cream. Understood." Kirei said as she stepped outside the door and closed it behind her, leaving Nerd's Paradise behind her. She still didn't understand the name. Likely, it was just a wording convention for this part of the world. "Ice Cream." She muttered to herself. "I suppose the convenience store should have Ice Cream and whatever I want to eat. Anna has a microwave-thing right?" Those were one of the few electric devices she knew how to use. One simply sticks their food in the open area and then close the door. After which a few buttons are pressed and one can even watch as the food prepares itself to the length indicated by the numbers counting down of the device.

So she decided to walk in the direction of the store. Coincidentally, some creature stepped out of the Cafe, heading in the same direction as the store that Kirei had so decidedly headed off to. She, as indicated by body features, was female. Rather furry as well. Not so much as Simon's lower-half, but still there. "I see." She muttered to herself as she peeked at the girl in front of her. She had a cup in her hand as well. Hot Chocolate, to match the color of her fur? Perhaps coffee. The Spideress did her best to not be seen looking, but she was more obvious than she attempted to be. She got to do her hobby on the way to the store, watching other people, very obviously nonetheless.

Sophie was not paying particular attention to the others around her. She had ordered a mocha which, suffice to say, she had little idea what it contained other than what the menu had stated. Cautiously she took a sip. It was still quite hot so it slightly burned her tongue but besides she was fine. It was sweet and creamy that the plain one she'd made didn't have. It was actually much sweeter than most things she'd had drunk before. The human world did love having a lot of flavor in their food.

While she didn't see the Spideress personally the scarab did and her ears directed themselves a couple seconds before her eyes followed. This was yet another person she had not met. That wasn't too unusual given how short of a time she'd been here. Also the library didn't always attract a whole lot of people outside of school or college kids. But that made for a great place to read. Slowing a bit she approached her curiously. "Hello. May I help you with something?" The tone was not one of disrespect, but of actual curiosity. While she appeared appeared human at first glance she'd learned that appearances can be deceiving.

"Okay..." Eliza said when the girl's head said that she didn't need help in a rather...old timey way. She seemed rather confident in her abilities. That confidence wasn't enough to actually help her though as her body got up just to fall over again into some trash cans. Eliza gave the girl a kind smile when she finally admitted to needing help. "Hey! It's fine! We all need help sometimes!" She told her and started to think what would be better. Helping the girl's body over to her head, or picking up her head. She was brought out of her thoughts by an approaching voice. She turned to see a demon coming towards all of them, or rather the zombie. Okay, she would let this guy deal with the zombie. He probably knew more than she did...or maybe not. Either way, she had a head and body to reunite.

In the end, Eliza ended up going over and helping the body up, grabbing her hand and pulling her into an upright position before leading her over to her head. Once they were back together, yet not connected in a way that a normal person would have their head and body connected, she asked, "Are you alright? Or um...is your head not being on a normal occurrence?" Eliza wasn't exactly an expert on all monsters after all, and she was pretty sure this girl was a monster...or cursed...maybe both? She was going to stop speculating now. "If you need to see a doctor or something, I could take you to one. It's not too far from where I'm supposed to be making deliveries anyways...oh! I'm Eliza by the way."

Letting the small avian go, scaled hands grasped at her cup of coffee and took a sip, savouring the taste and enjoying the warmth. Her eyes darted to the strange speaking woman in the odd garments who was leaving the store. She then looked at the pathetic looking ferret currently hissing at her. In response, her impressive fang elongated even further, becoming like sabres. She bared them at the ferret, warning him of how easily she could end it's life.

Her piercing eyes flitted to the Jackal-woman, seeing no expression pass over her face. Must be another introvert. The serpent thought, her eyes critically roaming over the silent woman. She did this action a lot and it was usually involuntary. The trait came with her job. She had to always be alert and critical to ensure that there were no potential criminals about. There have bee a couple of times where she had to stop a robbery in a few shops she had been in, including the cafe. No one suspected the silent stranger who sat in a secluded corner of the store until he had pulled out a weapon and demanded money.

Those people were sitting in prison at the moment. Though, there have been a few accidents with the other officers where they accidentally murdered a criminal in a struggle. Oerba has, surprisingly, never had one of these slip ups despite her large size and her powerful muscles. She preferred to keep it this way.

''It matters not if I 'swing' this way or that. Either way, I still find you revolting, slutcubus.'' The snake woman responded, her red eyes staring at him with a superior gaze. His presence disgusted her on both a professional and personal level. His blatant unruly conduct insulted her as an officer of the law and his slimy personality insulted Oerba on a personal level. He held many of the characteristics the snake woman hated in just about anybody. She scoffed and rolled her eyes at his pathetic attempt at whispering.

''My hearing is impeccable. Do remember that the next time you partake in any... misconduct.'' The Naga responded, her eyes glinting with malicious intent when the sunlight shone on her. The police office had no evidence that the Incubus had actually been taking illegal substances, but Oerba had a feeling about it. The Naga, however, would not make any moves and risk being wrong. She eyed him critically as he left to try and flirt another woman in the cafe, continuing to sip on her coffee. Her eyes turned to the fluffy llama hybrid who approached her and chastised her insults towards the undesirable Incubus hybrid.

''Apologies, fluffy.'' The Naga responded, giving him a sultry look. She smiled at him sweetly but not so sweetly, her fangs showing involuntarily. As she finished off her coffee, she slithered towards the counter to where Simon had gone off to. She offered him the money for her morning coffee.

''I must leave, fluffy. Thanks for the hot coffee.'' At this, she turned and left the small cafe. She had looked around the street that the cafe was on, taking in the various stores and kiosks that where available. Her deft eyes spotted what appeared to be some sort of electronics shop. Oerba had little technology as she grew up in a desert filled with sandstone temples and contraptions ran by water. As such, she decided to see what all the rage was about these ''computers''.

She deftly and gracefully slithered into the store, looking around in it. She saw different types of what appeared to be these computer contraptions and several other electronics that she did not know of. Looking up towards the counter, she saw a woman with cat appendages sitting in front of some sort of screen. The snake woman slowly approached, knowing how some people could react to her appearance.

Mulivon eagerly took the scone from Simon, clearly enthralled with the idea of something so sweet being an acceptable morning meal. She hesitantly took a bite, as if expecting at any moment for someone to swat it away and ridicule her. Her fear was swept away with the bliss of the sweet treat, and the raspberry flavor a tasty familiar taste though not quite the same as freshly plucked. She couldn't help but let a little smile appear on her lips as to confirm to the world her approval.

She was able to fight the urge to continue eating it as the greater mystery came with how it would taste combined with the coffee. A sudden realization that Ian had been made to wait made her glow red.

"I am fine in the bevy, it was just the sudden voices that came from all around that I did not enjoy."

She said quite hushed, but loud enough that Ian might have made it out.
"I am from the forest of feathers at the foot of the frozen mountains in the north. My mother the current Grandest Raven said that I, descendant of the Goddess Mulivon, was to go to learn at the Dielstadht. She said that I was to go and use my blessing to aid in return the Dielstadht would show me of the world with endless sky."

She couldn't help but posture a little as she answered. Her 160 centimeters seemed far larger while she spoke of her origins, clearly she took great pride in her home.

"So Sweet Sounding Ian, where is it you are you from? Are you like The Albert? Though you did not cringe in fear of the Crimson Eyed Oerba. Perhaps you are of the kind that can change their shape?"

Dulla-chan

The red coated body, with the help of the winged woman, managed to stumble her way over to her head and pick it up, placing it securely in the crook of her arm. With great dignity, Dulla-chan placed a fist over her mouth and cleared her throat, an odd looking gesture with her head tucked under her arm. "Ahem. Thy should feel honored that thou couldst assist one such as I. I offer my thanks."

"My current state is quite the norm." She moved her head out from under her arm and balanced it on her shoulders, where it would normally be, striking a pose with one arm crossed over her chest and the elbow of her other arm resting on top of it, her fingers against her forehead in a way that covered one of her eyes with her hand. "I am the Dullahan. Herald of- oops -of Death itself!" In mid-speech she had to quickly catch her head, which had started to overbalance, before returning to her pose. "I need no mortal aid, however I will accompany you to this "doctor" as a sign of gratitude. You should feel honored." She didn't mention that her foot hurt quite a bit from when she'd kicked the trash can.

Mitch nodded at the naga and turned his focus away. He was having quite a time people watching as the cafe filled up, what with a trembling coffee boy, an impish (well, probably an imp) kid flirting with everything that moved, and a whole host of others sharing the space. An easy grin settled on his face as he stood, feeling like a part of the community, although he was nothing but a newcomer, an outsider to this incredible little town he'd stumbled across.

"Good morning, what can I get ya?"

Mitch had almost lost track of why he'd come in the first place, and the sight of who he believed to be the owner behind the counter wasn't helping. He was a centaur, probably a llama, shorter than Mitch (but then again, few people weren't) with soft brown hair and a friendly air to him. Mitch would be lying if he claimed not to be attracted. Ever smooth and polite, however, he recovered flawlessly and offered a hand, dipping down a bit in greeting.

"Hello! Well first and foremost, I wouldn't mind something hot, cider if you have it." He chuckled, glancing around casually. "Otherwise, I'd like some help, if you'd be so kind to oblige me. I'm new here, just got in this morning, and I kinda need a job and a place to sleep. Starting fresh, you know." Another chuckle, then he cleared his throat, regaining his professionalism. "Anyway, would you happen to know any places hiring? I've got lots of retail and technology experience, but I can do pretty much anything, if that helps at all." he smiled, as if hoping it would improve his chances. Simon shook the hand, giving a smile before checking the coffee maker one more time.

"Oh, a newcomer? I do have cider actually, though it'll be a moment while it warms. As for the other part, you may want to check the Willow Estate Apartments. They usually have some vacancies. As for a job...mmm...well, if you're good with tech you could always ask Anna over at Nerd's Paradise. She doesn't really sleep so I don't know if she actually NEEDS help, but...that's one place."

The centaur's eyes roamed to Albert as a thought went into his head. The Corner Garden Cafe had four total employees, including Simon himself. The llama turned around again and poured out several cups of coffee, placing one in front of Mulivon and staring pointedly at Ian.

"You pay first."

The llama cantered back over to Mitch, running one hand through his hair as he started warming a pot of cider as well, mentally ticking off if he had taken care of all the current waiting orders. Sophie had left the cafe, the head dress girl had her order, Oerba was sipping her cup, and Ian's order was waiting for payment. Satisfied, Simon leaned onto the counter, giving another smile to the man.

"Alternatively, if you can make coffee and take orders, I can give you a test run and see how you handle the job. I think I'll be needing another morning person to help us."

Mitch nodded. "Willow estate, Nerd's Paradise, right..." He grabbed a napkin and jotted down the name, tucking it into his pocket. "Thank you very much. And don't worry, I don't mind waiting." He smiled wide at the developing smell of cider, a warm sweetness that brought a flood of fond memories back to him. He waited patiently while the owner took care of his other customers, every the patient man. His mind wandered to his more recent memories, good and bad. In either case, a twist of dread grew in his stomach, like a causeless guilt, and he shook them from his mind.

The centaur came back, with a charming smile and a very generous offer. Mitch took a moment to think it over. Actually, scratch that. More like ten seconds. "Hey, I would be thrilled at the chance!" He exclaimed, dipping his head in thanks. He returned the other's smile and for a moment, was nothing but optimistic. Then, of course, a realization came crashing down on him, one that he couldn't just hide-not just morally, but legally as well.

His face fell into an awkward, downcast look, and he lowered his voice, leaning over the counter a bit in hopes he wouldn't be heard by anyone else. "Well, there's just one thing. If I could speak to you privately when you're available, you'll see what I mean..." If this alone was enough to make him look suspicious, he wasn't hopeful for how Simon would take the information he needed to give him.

Simon quirked a brow, handing over a mug of warm cider as he gave a frown.

"Hmm...alright. I'll probably be busy for the rest of the morning, so come back later and we'll talk."

Mitch gave a nod, taking his cider and walking over to an unoccupied window table, sitting in the warm sunlight streaming in. The centaur rubbed the back of his neck, but opted to not worry about it until he heard what the problem seemed to be. The boy seemed to go from optimistic to crestfallen in a single step. But Simon had made it a habit to not make judgements until he knew the entire situation. He headed back to Ian, placing both hands on the counter and giving the imp a friendly, if firm look.

"Now, about paying for your food."

Ian interacting with Mulivon and Simon, mentioning Oerba and Mitch

Ian smiled as he saw how Mulivon marveled at the taste of her pastry, content to let her get it out of her system, He even found it to be a a bit cute, but he wouldn't say it to her face, she obviously had a good deal of pride and prideful women tended not to like being called 'cute'. The fact that she glowed red with embarrassment after she realized that she was keeping him waiting made her even cuter. Simon came over with their pastries and a reminder for Ian of there agreement, causing Ina to roll his eyes. He was only engaing in conversation, it's not like he groped women or what not. People were such prudes on this plane of existence. Turning his attention back to Mulivon, He listened to her explain her origins and thought of a succinct way to answer her questions, laughing a little when she brought up Albert's fear of Oerba. While it wasn't completely unfounded, the Lamia wasn't as dangerous as she liked to make herself seem. Plus she's a cop, and a damn good one to, so as long as someone stayed out of trouble they would be fine. Which was why Ian would always be on her bad side, he lived for trouble, it was in his blood.

"Interesting consider me honored to be in the presence of such regal lineage," Ian bowed his head in a sign of respect, smile never leaving his face as he continued, "It only makes sense, given the splendid radiance of your beauty, that you would have the blood of the divine flowing through your veins. Alas, all that flows through my own is the infernal ichor of a demon of chaos and a succubus, rather dull in comparison I would think. As for where I come from, it's a rather volatile plane of the underworld, full of all kinds of terrible, terrible demons. My mother was able to steal me away from it early on in life, more out of duty than anything else, and took me traveling with her through several different realms before we came to Earth and I was left abandoned in a orphanage somewhere in London I believe."
Ian took this moment to take a bite of his own scone, taking a glance at the large man that had come in, the odd pigmentation of his skin giving Ian cause to take note of the individual for alter questioning. He had yet to see a being such as this one before, and he definitely looked like he'd have a few interesting stories to tell. Simon came by again with their drinks . . . and a reminder for Ian that he had to pay. Ian only gave a smile to the llama-centaur, hiding the annoyance he was starting to feel at the man's insistent reminders. Ian took a sip of his coffee, watching Simon go over to the other newcomer while starting a count down in his head.

"Moving on to your next inquiry, no, I sadly cannot change my shape, I'm merely a demon of chaos and mischief, which gives me moderate power like being able to do this," Ian pointed out the window to where Oerba was slithering out in some sort of huff. His eyes flashed a dark red for a split-second, and from out of nowhere, a flock of starlings flew in from above over the Lamia officer, a small bombardment of excrement falling down around her. Most of it would miss, but some of it would not, and there would be a bit of a mess in the street as well. That is for calling me succubus, which isn't even close to being proper vernacular. If she had called me a dickubus, than I would've let it slide, but I cannot let such ignorance go unpunished, and when she comes in here, I'll be sure o properly educate her on the matter "As you can see, My power allows me to make the implausible to become plausible, on a small scale, little acts of mischief and what not, and it's nearly impossible to trace back to me, which is why I hope you won't tell Oerba that I'm responsible for that, as I'm sure she will be rather peeved by it. I could take her, of course, but that would ultimately end with me being jailed for assaulting an officer of the law." As Ian spoke, he reacehed into his pocket to pull out a wallet, reaching in to take out the amount of money that would pay for both his order and Mulivon's, a thank you gift for giving him the pleasure of her time. He placed it on a specific spot on the counter, made a show of counting down from five before pointing right at Simon's face when he appeared, the money for the food being right under where he placed his hands, returning the man's smile with one of his own though it was very much lacking in it's usual mirth.

"Simon, I know that I have a bit of a reputation but I think reminding me that I have to pay twice with in the space of a few minutes is not only very rude, but does a lot to make one feel very unwelcome. Add on to that fact that I've yet to ever perform an eat and run in your establishment, or even in this town, and you should be able to understand why your actions are making me a bit upset. If you don't wish for me to be in your shop, or distrust me that much, then just tell me and I'll gladly find another place to eat. But don't play this passive-aggressive intimidation game with me, it's an insult to my intelligence and trying to my patience." Ian was actually very pissed off, but he had to control that anger, control the instincts that it brought with it, instincts he had long since buried. Still, he couldn't help the menacing shade of red that had entered his eyes, nor the cold tone his voice had taken when addressing the Cafe's proprietor.

After he was done speaking to Simon, he turned back to Mulivon with an apologetic smile on his face, the red in his eyes fading slightly. "I'm very sorry for this, but I believe I will be leaving soon, given how my presence seems to be unwanted at the moment. If you want to continue this conversation, however, then I could give you a tour around town, help you become better acquainted and what not. I'm actually very much interested to hear more about your family, as it's not everyday you get to meet the descendant of a goddess. I hope you don't mind if I paid for your meal as well, consider it both an offering and a thank you gift for the lovely conversation."

Eliza watched as the girl made some unique positions with her head and body, she was quite the character. "You're Welcome and I'm glad I could help." She smiled, deciding to go along with the girl's personality. "And it's nice to meet you Dullahan, I'm the mail person here." Eliza jumped a bit when she almost dropped her head again, she was just getting used to seeing it where it would be for a normal person so seeing it come off was a little bit jolting. "Well it'll be nice to walk with someone." Eliza said as she started to lead the way to doctor's office, trying to go at a nice pace to accommodate for the slight limp that Dullahan was trying to hide. "So Dullahan, what brings you to Diehlstadt? Are you moving here or just visiting, if you don't mind me asking that is." Eliza asked her as she adjusted her messenger bag and gave one last quick look back at the zombie and demon, hoping that things for the zombie would be okay...
