Eryn sure enough had been listening, though he was careful not to tune out the
others. He had an eye on the boy who silently woke his way through the crowd, discreetly healing some who appreciated Emily's tricks the least. He looked over hearing Ryoshi and gave a smile and a wave to Ivo. He wouldn't be the first student to have these issues, but he was one of the few that was legitimately upset over it. Most acted tougher than they were as a means of hiding their insecurity. Though that was true in general. He had a theory or two about the Raiju's behavior too. He looked up hearing the bell toll and announcement was made for all students to return to their rooms, that their classroom assignments would be delivered later. Amelia, however, was not in the clock tower anymore. Eryn stood, but he didn't leave yet, wondering if Ivo would want to talk, not wanting to the interaction on the poor fellow, though he would seek him out later if he didn't. He looked at his list of names, wondering how many would fight opening up to him.

"It's rude to call someone uninteresting just because they're not a deliquent like you," the short, brown haired girl quipped, having followed along once seeing them sneak away after Katerina leave, "Big shocker, no pun intended, but this isn't as forbidden as you think. The places you really can't go are warded to prevent even high level magic to get through," she said as she walked to the edge, "Ah, this is a perfect launch point, though," she put her hand on her hip before looking at the two, "Why exactly are you trying to get in trouble, btw?" She asked, actually using the chat speak, titling her head.

Eilidh folded her arms, and huffed, though still smiling. "Hey, Glasgow's a city full of large monstrosities of steel and glass. I've only seen them from the back of a car, though. But this, this architecture. This is real beauty! I think it's the Greek in me just preferring old fashioned, 'proud' buildings to...large grey boxes, honestly. Though you're right about the hobbies. I'm not sure what i'll be doing here when it's not lessons now I'm away from home."

She stepped closer when Emily went onto the railing, looking worried even though she knew Emily could fly, and bit back her warning to be careful. It was just in the nature of a girl with a cumbersome beast to watch somebody else put themselves in a dangerous situation where they need to be nimble...it was just hard to watch. Eilidh grabbed the railing to give herself some security, and looked everywhere but down.

She jumped when she sensed there was another person on the bridge, and instantly prepared for dire consequences, but it appeared to be just another student. "I, um. I'm not trying to get in trouble," the centaur spluttered, "Emily just wanted to show me this view. I...generally don't get to see things this high up. I'm looking forward to getting back down either." she chuckled and shuffled one of her legs. "So, what's your name? Mine's Eilidh Chiron."

The Werewolf listened earnestly to what the teacher said, and was happy to see that the man was not troubled by him. Back with his parents, the line of the Ebonvuk pack was growing thinner and thinner and the only thing they could do was try to assimilate with human society, except Ivo's family. Without being able to hide his heritage from humans, they had to live closed off from their family who lived in towns and society itself, which could be terribly lonesome. When relatives did come over to visit, Ivo would be shooed out for family meetings and his relatives would complain that his parents had to stay so far away only for him. Being the eavesdropper he was, it had hurt the poor teenager's pride from very young, turning into a powerful insecurity of his.

The Ebonvuk pack had many different forms, but since most of the descendants had mingled their blood with humans, there was no one to help Ivo's special situation. Ivo could easily change more into a wolf, that came naturally for him. What the boy couldn't do was change all the way to a human. It had been a normal custom for women and children to take on the form of humans during their time in the village long ago, but the need to look human was even more pressing in the modern day. While the boy didn't want to trouble too many people with this problem, he nodded hearing that the Guidance Counselor may need to talk to him. That's what the counselor was here for right?

Ivo looked over to where Ryoshi was meeting the eyes of Eryn and saw the counselor wave. He hesitantly nodded back to him, thinking that waving would show off his claws too much. Most of the people of the Ebonvuk pack were more like humans than anything else, only his close family kept up with traditions. The pride of the pack had been diffused with each generation that mingled with humans, until the pride of a warrior wasn't too big in the family. Ivo had lived a rather sheltered life in the wilderness, so he didn't really understand the concept of reputation and the like.

Ivo gave a bow to Ryoshi and offered his farewells before heading over to see the Counselor. He wasn't about ready to talk a great deal about his problem to Eryn, he just wanted to offer his greetings like his mother had grilled him to do ever since he got the invite to the academy. "U-Um, hello! I am Ivo Ebonvuk, pure slavic werewolf of the Ebonvuk pack... please allow me to humbly ask for your training and advice!" The Were bowed.

Yukihara felt mildly annoyed. She had looked forward to going to this school, but upon seeing the crowd here to get their room assignments her heart sank. Worried about accidentally freezing more people she had opted to sit in a corner and wait for everyone to be gone, this caused her to arrive at her room way later than most other students. She still didn't regret her choice as she witnessed a punk-looking girl zap her way past the line, glad she wasn't in it. She hadn't been bored either since there were plenty of monster species she had never seen or heard of before. Of course, there were also plenty she had heard of before, specifically one werewolf stood out, and since Yukihara was in the room the entire time she couldn't help but overhear. Eventually the crowd died out and Yukihara went to the assigned room. All in all she was satisfied with how things had gone.

With a sigh Yukihara entered the room. It wasn't a bad room, though fairly standard. No one was in the room, but there were bags, she had missed her roommate. Yukihara lay down for a bit, but after 10 minutes she had regained her excitement and could no longer bear just lying on her bed. She got up and left the room, checking for crowds she was relieved to see the hallway was mostly empty. She wandered around the building for a while looking for a nice view. In passing she noticed some silhouettes on a rooftop, but decided to pay them no mind as she continued her search.

Eryn gave a smile as Ivo came over and introduced him, "A pleasure to meet you, Ivo! I hope tremendously that we can guide you forward so you can be more confident in your abilities," he said as Nero came over, holding Ivo's room and class assignments.
"Sorry to interrupt, but I'm guessing you're going to want to know where to go. I promise I haven't been eavesdropping for anything other than a name," he put his hands up once Eryn had taken the papers from him and turned to go back towards the teachers' hall.
"Here you go," Eryn handed the papers to Ivo once he had written some information on the back of the class assignments, "That's my room number in the school building," he pointed to it, "My email and my cell phone number in case you need to contact me at any point. I know a thing or two that could help you when you're struggling with something," he smirked, "I don't want to give any promises about what you and Mr. Hanamaru discussed, but I don't think our beloved headmistress is going to deny you something that is positive for you. That being said, you could probably discuss this with your roommate. He is a unicorn, and he was walking around in human form. He might be able to give you a pointer or two," he said, pointing to his roommate's name, "Why don't you head to the dorm's and go say hello? I think it might help calm your nerves once your in your own space," he smiled at the teen.

Said roommate was currently unpacking his things in the room, having slid away after the bell tolled, figuring he'd get his class assignments later that night. With their room assignments there was a code to a P.O. box for their personal use in the lobby. He'd check it that night for the class list. He looked at his roommate's name and wondered lazily who that was- he'd had his headphones in so he'd overheard absolutely nothing dealing with the wolf. He shrugged, glancing towards the door, idly wondering if he should remove his headphones so he could hear whenever he came in. Suddenly popping a horn from getting a jump scare wouldn't be a good first impression after all.

---------------------------

When Nero entered the main lobby area, Nuka had come back out of her room and was sitting in the lobby with the window open as she had a lit cigarette in her mouth as she flipped through the channels on the tv. Nero raised a brow as she had pulled a chair up behind the couch and had her legs up on the back of the couch, "You realize the couch reclines, yes?"
"So?"
Nero shrugged and continued towards his room. She was exceptionally stubborn when she wanted to be, and he'd learned it was pointless to even try to see reason with her in those particular moods. Not that she was actually in one now. She had only decided after lighting the cigarette to watch tv but knew Katerina got angry if she moved the ash tray from the place by the window and so this made it slightly easier to reach that while still being able to see the tv.

Ivo couldn't keep a mirroring smile of his own from slipping over his face, it seemed Eryn definitely had a talent of socializing and helping others. He was hoping that the teachers would be able to help him with his abilities, but was a wee bit embarrassed if he had to have anything about his own feelings. Even Ivo had the dignity of his people when it came to that kind of stuff. The werewolf gave another bow to the counselor and was about to say something else when some other teacher showed up his with room and class assignments.

It was good to have the actual papers in his hands, these were the first things that Ivo had received from the academy, giving him an excitement rush of what this school year would bring. It would be quite a while since he left these walls, especially since he was staying the breaks such as winter and summer as well to work on his transformations. Ivo knew he would miss his parents a little bit, but they were finally going to get to experience human society and if they were happy, so was he.

It was good to get the extra info from the counselor, Ivo probably would be too embarrassed to have to go looking for that kind of information by himself. It was very nice that he hadn't had to go through that huge crowd to get the papers themselves, the Were wasn't used to so many living creatures at once, after all. Since Ryoshi had never formally introduced himself, it was nice to know his name was Mr. Hanamaru, Ivo would do his best to remember it.

So his roommate was a... unicorn?! Ivo had thought they were just some kind of child fairy tale! The Were listened with his jaw dropped open, it would be really amazing to meet this person! Ivo gave a quick nod to the teacher and said his farewells, before heading for the dorm building to look up his room number. The boy started climbing the stairs two at a time, being a werewolf had its advantages after all. After a long time, he found the room, having been already bad with directions.

The boy took a deep breath and tried to put his key into the lock, before finding out the door was unlocked. He opened it to see a platinum blonde, actually his hair was probably pure white, unpacking. The boy seemed to be a little younger than him, but his maturity level was probably quite a bit higher than Ivo's. He came into the room, his own white hair not covered by a hat anymore and smiled, "Hi there! I'm your new roommate Ivo Ebonvuk. Is it true you're a unicorn?!"

At the mention of Glasgow Emily halts her precarious walk along the railing, looking over at Elidh and raising an eyebrow. "Are we really counting Glasgow here? What even IS there in Glasgow? I have been pretty much literally all over the world, so believe me, there is almost nowhere as boring as Glasgow." Of course, Emily herself had never been to Glasgow, but she didn't feel the need to mention that, safe in the knowledge that Elidh hadn't either. Or at least not really, as being in the car didn't count. Emily cast another appraising glance across the school yard, critically examining the ancient gargoyles and faded brickwork. It wasn't quite her style, although she supposed it definitely looked a dark fantasy sort of fancy. With a shrug Emily turned back to Elidh. "Not sure what the Greeks have to do with it, but to me it just looks like whoever built this was overly fond of pillars, and not so fond of colours. Or sunlight, for that matter."

As she was addressed by the newcomer, Emily's face immediately returned to that slightly smug smirk that appeared to be her default. "Ew. Did you really just say 'btw' out loud? What are you even doing here?" With an exaggerated look of disgust and roll of the eyeballs Emily waved off the new girl, who had managed to pretty much immediately annoy Emily. "Sides, you're here the same as us, and you picked the lock, so it ain't my fault." Her previously exaggerated expression instantly shifted into an equally unlikely expression of innocence. "Suppose that makes all of us up here 'delinquents' doesn't it, huh?" Looking over the short girl, Emily sized her up, and decided as she usually did that she had nothing to fear from the brown-haired kid. "What are you even doing up here? You follow us up just to tell us we're delinquents, or you just a big fan of stairs?"

He had just turned his back to the door when Ivo came in. He luckily felt the slight change in the air and pulled his headphones out. He turned to face his new roommate as he introduced himself and followed up with the question, "I am," Henri said simply, though he figured he ought not be rude and end the conversation, "I'm Henri Altus. I would show you, but it'd be a little awkward with the small space," he said, looking around the room, "But I can do this," he said, looking up at his forehead as his horn appeared for Ivo to see, "I take it I'm the first unicorn you've had the opportunity of seeing based off your reaction?" it sounded like a statement, but he was asking a question. He wasn't trying to criticize Ivo, he was just making friendly conversation, though his version of friendly often didn't get interpreted that way.

@Silver Carrot@thewizardguy
"Tiona Gryphus," She smiled at Eilidh before giving Emily a bored look at her snide remarks, "OMG, did you just say ew? What are you, a "mean girl"?" she scoffed, "I didn't have to repick the lock after you did, genius, it doesn't automatically lock back, duh," she put her hands on her hips, "I bet you think you're some real hot shot because you aggravated the boss on the first day, but you ain't squat compared to what I've seen, toots, so why don't you roll that attitude on back a few notches before you make yourself look real smart," she laughed lightly finding her attitude kind of comical, ""Sides" there's nothing interesting around here yet so I figured what stupid thing you were doing next and lucky me, you're not completely useless. This is a perfect launching point for a little spin," she looked at her nails, making a flying motion with her other hand.

And then for the almost 20th time that day, Ivo was amazed. Now, the boy had always read those weird fairy tales where witches use weird magical ingredients like mist and the like. There was also harry potter that talked about using Unicorn Hair to make the base of the wand. But still, Ivo had never thought that unicorns existed! His eyes widened and started to shine as he shouted, "That is totally wicked awesome!" Which would probably rally some complaints from the neighbors next door. While the halls were rather rowdy since everyone was just unpacking, no one could really hear conversations over the normal chatter. And then a shout like that would come out. It was pretty obvious some newbie student had shouted. "All I've got are these..." He pointed to his ears and tail, still feeling self-conscious and blushing a little.

Oh what a hideously deformed ego she had encountered. It seemed Emily had discovered one of those children who think they're sufficiently above it all that they felt free to insult those around them. The prissy ones, who were always pretending to be 'better' than the rest in some way. Despite her clear advantage, more than one person had looked down at Emily over the course of her life time, using something like social status, money, or play-it-safe principles to lift themselves onto a pedestal. And while those kinds of people generally just struck Emily as ignorant, those individuals who waited atop their pedestal for the world to worship them made her blood run cold. It was a show of overblown hubris, especially from one so young, to think herself so much better than this 'delinquent'. Regardless of what would follow, certainly Emily would consider this person an Emily, and never a person worth making introductions with. Such people were the scum of the Earth, blind to their own stupidity because there Ego is in the way.

Narrowing her eyes, Emily suppressed a growl. "Nice try, you should keep at it. If you keep going long enough, you might eventually learn to speak actual English like the rest of us." Based on what this person was saying, they had the ability to fly. That basically proved that they were some kind of monster, which was to be expected at this school, even if it was generally outside of Emily's own experience. It also meant that she didn't have to play as nice as she did with humans, who had very limited abilities when you really thought about it. If it turned out this girl was some kind of immense beast it would be fine to shock her as much as Emily wanted, right? Although given her particular stature, Emily doubted she was anything large. Maybe it was a dwarf, or a fairy. "If you're gonna jump off go ahead, if not get off my roof, midget." Of course, if all else failed, she was surely still allowed to dropkick a fairy.

Eilidh watched the back and forth between Tania and Emily. She felt like she should take Emily's side due to their friendship, but honestly, they were both kind of being idiots right now. Tania was coming off a little prissy and "I-turn-my-nose-up-at-your-uncouth-shenanigans" and Emily was, well, being Emily. She'd probably tell the President to stuff it if he was standing in her path and she wanted to run down it. These two...it really was a monumental clash of egos.

Eilidh decided the best thing to do wold be to let them burn some of this hostility off with some healthy competition. If Emily won, great! If Tania won, Emily will hopefully have come closer to learning the lesson that she'll have to learn one day at this school; she can't do everything she wants here. Eilidh started to push the two in this direction.

"Emily. I actually think she was challenging you to a race. I think she's implying she's the faster flyer. I'd say yes and go for it if I were you."

Henri found himself smirking at his roommate's enthusiasm but shook his head, "You make it sound as if there's something wrong with that. What you have is unique to you and your kind, and there's nothing wrong with it," he said, "I had a lot of.....alone time to master looking this way," his eyes grew a little distant but then he waved his hand, then gave a small smile, "So your distinct features are pretty awesome in their own right, therefore be proud of them," he said, moving to put some of his things away, "What brings you to the Institute?" he asked, trying to keep the cordial conversation going. He could tell Ivo was a little uncomfortable and wanted to help him to relax and just enjoy himself- or at least know that his room was a space where he could.

@thewizardguy@Silver Carrot

Tiona sneered at Emily's rebuttal, "Oh, this little form is so that idiots like you make the mistake of underestimating me," she said and started to prove it before there came a sudden chill in the air. She looked around for the source, but didn't need to think twice about who might be sending the message. The headmistress was not about to allow some stupid feud to start on her rooftops. Tiona shuddered before looking at them again, "We'll settle this some other time," she said, still trying to keep her bravado, but as she started back in Amelia was standing in the door, leaning on the frame with her arms crossed. Tiona back-pedaled, "H-headmistress!"
"My, my, my, such a noisy first day," Amelia said in a partially bored tone, shaking her head, "What should I do about someone who insists on being a trouble maker?" she put her hand to her chin before pulling out two silver bracelets. She snapped one on Tiona and started over to Emily, "And here Katerina was kind enough to let you off for the day, and what do you do?" she shook her head, "I expected better from you, Emily," she said, putting her hand out, wanting Emily to give her her hand to put the second bracelet on her. She wasn't going to put one on Eilidh as she been a bystander and not one instigating the issue- nor was she a repeat/soon to be repeat offender as far as she could tell at the moment, "These bracelets are going to limit your access around the school, such as places like these even with your master lock picking skills, and will allow us to monitor your behavior when you think you're being sneaky and getting away with something. For now they won't limit your ability to shift forms, but they will simply change to fit your needs. Push your luck and it will change," she said, clearly not leaving the terms up for debate.
Tiona grit her teeth and went downstairs, heading towards her room. Damn it all, she'd let that stupid girl put the target on her back. Course she didn't help herself by goading her, but still! Who did she think she was!? Tiona rounded the corner, throwing the door to her room open with a bang.

Emily looked over at Elidh as she suggested a race. Clearly that wasn't what the prissy girl was trying to do, and it took a moment for Emily to figure out this was an attempt to defuse the situation. What, did she think Emily was stupid? Of course Emily could beat the midget girl in a race, but then again Emily was the fastest person she knew. One could even call her... lightning fast. With a snicker Emily returned her attention to the midget girl, who she realised had been saying something. Although it appeared she had also been interrupted, and it didn't take long to figure out by what.

A woman of medium height had entered the room. She didn't look all that odd, all things considered, and certainly her appearance couldn't be called 'scary', but there was something about her that gave Emily chills. Maybe it was the air of authority. She had that look like she already knew everything worth knowing, but unlike other people, whom it had only given an air of pretentiousness in Emily's eyes, this woman managed to pull it off. Emily had been lucky enough only to have a single conversation with this ancient fossil, when she had first arrived at the school. A conversation that had gone amiably enough.

As the headmistress placed what Emily could only think of as a cuff on the shorter girl Emily's hands remained firmly at her side. There was no way she was putting on some random weird magical junk. Certainly not if it came from HER. "You know you can't do that, right? Ain't no way that's legal. Right of privacy and all that. It's in the law, specially for someone who's only as old as me." Emily herself had been picked up often enough to know a thing or two about the law. Never for anything major, just stealing clothes, breaking and entering, and once for punching an officer in the face. Called it 'obstruction of the law' or something. Regardless, Emily was not letting the creepy witch lady put weird magical artifacts on her arms. And she certainly didn't want creepy witch lady knowing where she was all the time. The image of the woman sitting in her room, using a cauldron or whatever to peek in on all the children.... ew. That was just generally wrong, in a colourful variety of ways. "Hey, I only came up here to look at the view. I didn't cause no trouble, see? Me and midget over there were just having a conversation, after she interrupted me n.... E.. Ele..." Embarased, Emily spent a moment grasping her memory for her new friend's name. "Elidh, right, yeah."

"It's Eilidh. Ay-lee," Eilidh muttered, before starting to head to the staircase. "Oh, and Emily. I tried to warn you, but you're going to have to learn that this is how things work at school. Here, the teachers are the law, and when you do things they don't like, there are consequences not even you can ignore. This time you almost got me in trouble too. I'll be in my room, if there's anything you want to say." she said, clearly implying that she expected some kind of apology later.

This was going pretty badly so far, thought Eilidh. She was almost late, practically assigned to be some kind of role model even though she didn't want to be, and almost got dragged into trouble. Hopefully things will start picking up once the lessons actually start, unless Gym was first. Public humiliation's probably the one box that hadn't been ticked on 'bad first day' bingo, and Eilidh was far too cumbersome and unwieldy for anything requiring coordination or agility. If it did have to be Gym, please let it be running fast in a straight line.

She stopped at the top of the stairs. Oh right. She actually has to get down normally now. She'd forgotten about that. With a sigh, she started descending, being far more careful on the way down than on the way up because now all the weight was at the front, pointing down, and the back was raised. One mistake and she'd tip. Keeping a tight grip on the rail, she continues down the stairwell one step at at time, until she finally makes it to the bottom. She then heads straight back to her room.

Some features were starting to make sense now. The bed being plastic and rubber rather than wood or metal and the extra security on the window were because of Emily. Eilidh moved her sleeping mat a little closer to the wall. She didn't know if Emily emits electricity in her sleep, but she'd rather not find out. The bathroom, however, everything there seemed to be for Eilidh's benefit. The mirror by the sink was ceiling high, the toilet was very large and very low down. Instead of a shower cubicle, there was a deep bath with a shower fitted, and a collection of long handled scrubbers and brushes, even though Eilidh had also brought her own. It was actually kind of touching that the school had gone to all this effort for her. She was going to try harder from now on not to let them down.

Ivo listened as Henri started talking about the saying the same things he had heard from Ryoshi only a little over fifteen minutes ago. While everyone kept talking about how he shouldn't be ashamed, Ivo still couldn't shake this feeling that had been plaguing him for the past at least twelve years. But it seemed while Ivo didn't have any person or supplies to help him to better his shifting, Henri did and would hopefully be a valuable resource for him to be able to achieve a full human form. Ivo fingered his tail as he picked the bed the Unicorn wasn't using and placed started opening his bag up.

The topic Henri had started up, was not as cordial as he may have thought, "My- Um... Parents wanted to be able to stay with some of our relatives in society and the like and I can't do that so... Here I am." The boy started unpacking his t-shirts and clothing into a nearby dresser.

Amelia listened to the rambling of Emily trying to dig her way out of her situation without a change in expression, though she did look at Eilidh when she responded to her lack of responsibility. She turned her attention back to Emily once the other girls were gone, "My dear, you picked the lock to get out here and are fully aware that this area is not open to freely come and enjoy the view- there are balconies for that that are not restricted spaces. I am not monitoring your personal time, it simply allows me to know when you are entering a space you should not," Amelia said with a sigh, "And out here I'm afraid the laws fall rather short as those invented those laws would rather kill you than defend you, so unless you'd rather have a security escort all times of the day, you will give me your hand," she said, not having put her own down, though the air got a bit colder to alert her to the fact that her ability to make the decision for herself was about to be out of her hands. Her job was to protect her students, and she would do so whether those students wanted her to or not- she would not let their recklessness be their undoing, not while she had a way and the will to stop them. As much as Emily liked to buck the rules and give them a hard time, Amelia did not want her getting into some kind of trouble that she couldn't get out of. This area was off limits because it was particularly hazardous in harsher elements and wasn't protected against anyone who might be trying to be rid of some of the "monsters" on her campus and having three students out here, two of their own free will to get into trouble for no other than boredom, made her quite annoyed. Why was it so difficult for them just to pay attention to the warning signs???

Tiona was wandering around the halls, trying to see if she could find her roommate, wanting someone to talk to. She wasn't about to chance trying to find a different place to fly from with Amelia and Katerina both on the prowl. She was aware she couldn't blame the whole situation on Emily, she did go up there and pick a fight after all. She happened to spot Eilidh going back to her room and sighed before walking towards her, "H-hey, I hope you didn't get in trouble for what was going on upstairs..... Sorry for causing a fuss," she said, rubbing the back of her head. Eilidh had at least tried to be cordial with her, and so she wanted to make sure she hadn't accidentally buried that hatchet with her behavior upstairs.

@AimeChambers
Henri noted that the reaction wasn't a good one and mentally told himself not to press that issue, "Sorry, I didn't realize it was a negative thing," he murmured. He wouldn't go into any personal details. He himself had nowhere else to go, but he didn't say that aloud as he didn't want to seem like he was creating pity for himself, "What are some things you like to do in your free time? Do you have any games you like?" he asked, switching gears. He walked over to his bag and pulled out a handheld game system, turning it on to some little action game that looked like the remastering of a classic arcade game. Henri wasn't typically overt and friendly, but he didn't want to start this year on a bad foot with his roommate. He wasn't sure if he would be able to help him with his shifting, but he hoped to try.

- Emily 'Jolt' -

As Elidh spoke up Emily gave her a quick glance, but it soon became clear that no support would be had from that direction. Apparently her new friend was content to skulk off back to her room with her tail between her legs. Worse yet she seemed to be implying this was her fault, as if she had something to apologise for. Emily hadn't forced Elidh to do jack of shit, she'd come up here of her own free will. Just because it was her idea didn't mean Elidh got to blame it all on her. The accusing tone of Elidh's eyes soon morphed Emily's look of mild surprise into a glare of anger and disappointment, and Elidh would feel those twin points burning into the back of her head as she walked down the stairs. For some reason it was so much worse coming from someone whom she had, however momentarily, put her trust in. It seemed even when she wasn't the only monster, there still wasn't anyone else on her side. The incompetent nightguards and cops had just been replaced by something far scarier, and with far less scruples.

Turning her attention back to Amelia, the ancient witch would notice something had very definitively changed in Emily's posture. Whereas previously she had been leaning back and smiling in suppressed fear, now she simply glared up at the head mistress. Emily found any trace of fear, including the quite rational fear of consequences, quite suddenly drowned by a wave of stubborn anger. "Oh I'm sorry miss, seems I didn't hear a word I just said. Just sounded like 'I like locking up little kids and I don't need to justification' to me. Damn, must be something wrong with my ears." Her tone absolutely deadpan she stared at the witch. There was no way that sarcasm or stubborn rebelliousness were going to improve her situation any, but such considerations were the furthest thing from her mind at the moment, as this one woman seemed to embody everything that had gone wrong. "Also, really? Kill me? You must not have left your little school for the last 500 years if you think humans still hunt monsters. Certainly explains your sense of fashion, and the 'I am the law' shtick. Though if they were hunting me down, I sure didn't notice it in all the time I spent out there." All this time Emily's hands remained firmly at her side, although they were now balled into fists. She was this close to punching Amelia in the face, although considering the gap in power it most likely wouldn't amount to much.

Eilidh sees the Griffin, Tania, from earlier, but she was looking a little regretful. That sentiment was shared by Eilidh. She shouldn't have lambasted Emily or stormed off like that, really. She did willingly follow her up there, and it wad a nice thing until they got in trouble. Then Eilidh just got scared and wanted to lash out. Sort of getting in trouble on her first day was just a bad start, and had put the centaur in a bad mood. She'll apologise to Emily when she next sees her.

"I didn't really get in trouble. Emily did, though. And I yelled at her too..." she muttered, obviously feeling bad about that, "but let's try and make a fresh start. Preferably the three of us, but us two for now. So, I'm Eilidh Chiron from Glasgow. Where are you from, Tania?"

Her Glaswegian accent was strong, and she did look, genetically, like a typical white Brit, but there was also something slightly Mediterranean European about her face structure. Italian or Greek, maybe.

Amelia actually rolled her eyes at Emily's outburst this time before walls of ice formed around them, using the moisture in the air to for. The stretched and secured Emily's arms and legs in place and Amelia snapped the bracelet on without her consent and the ward to keep it in place flashed, "You are young, Emily. You don't know anything about how this world works and the true monsters that roam it. Humans are more dangerous and more capable than any being that walks these halls. It's humans that create mass weapons of destruction over minor insults to prove that they are the bigger power in this world," she shook her head, "I have been around long enough to know that just because you don't see the evil, it doesn't meant it doesn't exist. I would like for you to continue to live with that cocky arrogance of yours, that spirit. That's why I do what I do, that's why I'm not leaving it up to you whether or not you're wearing that bangle, because I will keep you safe with or without your consent, Emily. That is my job, because I won't let anyone else get hurt because they don't believe that there's something out there that can touch them," she said before the ice faded away, Amelia's eyes looking miles away. She put her hand on Emily's head, "Go on. There's a party to be had tonight, and no," she smirked, "I, and my 500 year sense of fashion, did not plan it. A senior did, one who reminds me a lot of you," she removed her hand before starting back inside, tucking those memories of the past away. It certainly didn't feel like it was history, not without how fresh the sense of terror was whenever she thought of the monsters that hunted them down for no other reason that they weren't regular humans. Yes, she might have been forceful, but she couldn't bear the thought of Eily getting herself hurt.

"I'm from around the Statford area, I think, though I'm only recently up to date with technical stuff. The closest actual town to me was a tourist trap, the birth place of some famous writer or something," Tania waved her hands, but she stiffened as Amelia came down and exited the dormitory, not seeming to acknowledge any of the students she passed, her brows drawn down in concentration, "Yeesh," Tania shuddered once she was gone, "Anyways, I don't know how swell Emily I will get along considering our personalities are like two northern ends of a magnet trying to get close," she scoffed a little, shaking her head before hearing some of the girls nearby gushing about what they were going to wear to the get together the school was holding for the new year, "Huh," Tania went down and got one of the fliers before coming back, "Looks legit," she said, showing the flier to Eilidh, "They even like hired a DJ and caterers, though apparently Amelia made sure those with special needs would have food available for them too. Maybe it won't be such a boring year after all," she smirked a little.

@AimeChambers

While waiting for a response to his question, he heard people out in the hall, their door left open. Some guys were passing, carrying the same flier the girls were seeing, though one of the guys stopped outside the door and Henri bristled, sensing what he was- almost smelling the sulfuric, burnt smell that came from fire dragons, "What do you want, Ryu?" he knew this jock from the ride up to the school.
Ryu grinned mercilessly, "Well, well, pony boy found a friend, eh? Or is this little welp your roommie? 'Spose it fits," he chuckled, looking Ivo over and deciding there wasn't a threat to be had in the wolf boy, "Can't wait to see what spectacular garbs you got for the party," he waved the flier before balling it and throwing it at Henri, laughing as he started down the hall, "A wolf and a horse, how hysterical!" he howled.
"Yea, joke of the year," Henri rolled his eyes before picking up the flier and smoothing it out, looking it over, "Well, do you feel like going and seeing what the seniors at this school idea of a good time is?" he asked Ivo.
