As of right now, the IC for Under the Sycamore Tree has almost 33 pages worth of content that's made me pee my pants laughing, dehydrate myself crying and ruin my throat from cheering and booing. As far as I'm aware, three separate side stories are being written as simultaneous literature relevant to the main plotline.
This has been a life raft in a sea of endless apathy for me, and in the year I've been a part of the Guild, you've given me a home and a group of people I am happy and proud to call my friends: No matter how goofy y'all are.
Thank you Ghost, for constantly working harder than I've ever seen someone work to keep adding new content to this world we're living in. You're a pro, and an inspiration for me, and I'm more than excited to see where things go with this glorious mess.
Thank you Ferny, for being my closest collaborator. You motivate me just about every day to get
something done, no matter what it is. I'll always be grateful to you, your kindness, and your Iron & Honey hyperfixation.
Thank you Nori, the Magenta of our Printer Ink Gang. Your enthusiasm and strength as a person leaks from you in everything you write. I can't wait to write more of Lila dealing with the Temple and her new stalker!
Thank you Esty, as you manage to avoid our Discord entirely but still seem to weave your characters into
every little crack they can get in. I love working with you, and I'm so grateful you're willing to deal with my occasional lapse in motivation.
Thank you Blizz, goofy ahh... You're funny as shit and your enthusiasm is literally endless. You've always got an idea brewing, and you're so excited to talk about it that I can't not find it endearing. Nomad's Guild for LIFE.
Thank you Zombie, you hard working fucker. You're so fucking smart it's actually kind of intimidating, and your prose is absolutely legendary. There hasn't been a single Clancy post that I wasn't massively impressed by.
Thank you Atrophy, as in spite of your schedule, you always find time to write grade S posts no matter what character is being focused on. I can't wait read the coming Ezra portion of I&H, and I hope we can find a reason to work together privately soon!
I could say a lot more, but I'll save it for later. Thank you again, each of you, for being my real introduction to the Guild, and I'm thankful some random person from Reddit was stalking Ghost's posts. They told me to come here and to hit him up to join his Mech roleplay, but I was too scared at first to message him out of the blue.
So, really, thank God for The Answer of Rain. I will
always answer.
